Dr. Joseph Thomas

Dr. Thomas is part of our family. He delivered my son 36 years ago and it’s a blessing to have him to this day as my primary physician! He is knowledgeable and trustworthy who truly cares about my overall well being!

My appointment was 10am, I got the 9:45, went to the back 10:04.....Dr didnt come in to my room until after 11am. Then was told to get undressed and he left......never came back. I was trying to be patient and waited until almost 12 before I got dressed and left the building. Allllllll the time I heard him knocking on different doors and going in to another patients rooms except mine. Never again am I going back.

Dr. Thomas is only interested in his promotion of Juice Plus, B12 weight loss injections and plastic surgery. If youre interested in OBGYN services please seek another professional. I had an appointment on 8/10/22. I was abruptly treated, given a diagnosis, asked my preferred pharmacy only for my prescriptions to NEVER get called in. I called the next day to inquire about my prescriptions and was given the excuse that Dr. Thomas had to rush out for a Juice Plus seminar (No prescriptions to date). Not to mention the examination room was filthy (appearance of blood on the floor and in the trash can along with a used syringe, see below). Dr. Thomas WAS an excellent OBGYN. Im sadden that his level of care has deteriorated.

I’m so thankful to Dr Joseph. He cares about the well being of his patients, all my check ups through the years I had never got a deep blood work like the one he order for me. Thanks to him, I was able to know the bad levels of the blood work I currently have. 😵‍💫🥹I know he’s going to be a big help to me and to ensure I get better.!!A high percentage of early deaths in people is because they ignore lots of the bad levels in their the bodies, to most of them they notice little to no symptoms. Next thing you know we end up with a stroke. Be aware, check yourself often, eat healthy.Thank you Dr. Thomas for sharing me the importance of eating healthy, and giving me a natural route to get better .

Doctor Thomas delivered my daughter Ashley at Little Company of Mary. She was the 1st low birth weight baby to stay. I think about how good he was and thoughtful. It was 35 years ago.

SICKO AND WEIRDO BEWARE!!! Dont trust him to do surgery!!!The O Shot is just smoke and mirrors. The O Shot isnt worth the money. The FDA state Mona Lisa, and other rejuvenation procedures cause damage. The staff clothes cruelty with charm. Excuses and continually rescheduled appointments made it hard to trust if they were being genuine. Solicitations for expensive supplements was annoying AF. Trinity is a filthy hole in the wall. I wouldnt want my medical treatment from Trinity or Metro South. I got $400 in unnecessary test.i didnt see him before or after my surgery. Anybody could have operated on me. Be careful what doctors to trust. Doctors arent surgeons. I should up appointments, and no one would show up. The staff would act cruel with a smile on their faces. His surgery was unnecessary and created worse problems. I wouldnt get medication for months. And I would constantly be billed for unnecessary blood tests. I would get B12 shots, that didnt make me feel differently. Id pay out of pocket and get billed through my insurance. These doctors only care about money. Prenatal care was horrible. Didnt get prenatal vitamins until my 3rd month. Didnt get prenatal tests until my 4th month. Never got appts for months at a time. Id show up at the hospital and they would have no record of the appointment. Trinity and MetroSouth are horrible hospitals. Never received my records. The staff would pressure me to get my tubes tied, when I never asked for it. After the 1st botched surgery, I wouldnt ever let him do another. After the surgery, I got an infection. I dont believe his tools or the hospital were clean. The blood that leaked from my surgery made my skin break out. The doctor wanted me to sign a paper before surgery, that allowed him to take photos of my vagina. You cant even trust even black doctors. The staff was weird and cruel. BEWARE

The only doctor I trust. He is well versed in nutrition. He cares about your well-being. He wants to find out the causeOf your problems first.Most of our medical problems are due to a vitamin deficiency. He tries to educate his patients.I would recommend him highly.

Ive been with Dr. Thomas for 23 years!! He is excellent! Dr. Thomas is very knowledgeable in reproductive help. And what, I love the most is he believes in the body repairing its self naturally through repairing for immune system. He teachings us how to build your immune system and about benefits of diet and exercise. If it wasnt for Dr. Thomas I would have lose my 21 year old son. I believe God sent me to the right hospital at the right time and Dr. Thomas was the OB/GYN on staff. I was 8 weeks pregnant and passed a blood clot that I thought was my baby. He put me on bed rest when my previous baby said I would miscarry. So, Im very grateful. However he is no longer an GYN but he does service woman with reproductive health.

My first experience was great with Dr. Thomas and his staff. Dr. Thomas is very intelligent, is a good listener, and was empathetic to the reasons I was there to see him. He taught me about how to take better care of my body and a plan to start the process of helping me be healthy. I learned we can look great on the outside but our inside might not be well and I want to make sure my inside and outside are well.

Dr .Thomas has been servicing me for about 5 years now he delivered my first child and is now delivering my second. He is someone I don’t have to worry about being comfortable with . He makes his office your home and he always has something new and interesting for me to learn.

Dr. Thomas is amazing . He is very knowledgeable about the body. He knows his stuff. I just love the service . People are complaining about the wait in the office, that lets you know he is a great doctor! He tries to squeeze and converse with all his patients instead of just being a 2min in and out doctor! He gives everybody what they’re looking for and that’s time with them on their doctor visit!! He will answer every question you have without rushing you. I love him like family. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A REAL GYNECOLOGIST! I went to the doctors office to get an annual pap smear. I should have known something was off because as soon as I walked in, a young lady was complaining about the office’s performance. Being seated did not take that long, but the room was very tiny and cluttered. The pap smear he did was so quick I doubt he even got enough for adequate results. For some reason this office is outdated where you cannot see ur results online. So as a month went by I figured my results were normal but just out of curiosity, I called and the nurse told me I was HPV positive. After that I went to another gynecologist and he reported that I was actually HPV negative and he found out from the lab that the quack’s results were actually HPV negative too?! How embarrassing it is for me to have disclosed this to my significant other/ close friends and it was actually false! Don’t go here, listen to the reviews

Unorganized all over the place they had me sitting in their office waiting for over an hour with no pants on and a piece of paper to cover up with...the doctor was rough when examining and I feel just went through the motions carelessly just to get me out...then I never got a follow up call regarding my prescription and where they were to send it. What’s disappointing is the doctor was my mother’s doctor when she was pregnant with me almost 30 years ago, so I thought I was in great hands. The receptionists were so sweet and helpful though.

My experience with Dr. Thomas was very nice & very professional. The office was neat, clean and the staff was pleasant. Dr. Thomas was concerned about my health and provided vital information, tips and advice for me to follow.

Ive always love Dr. Thomas because he be so real! I havent seen him in a while. Only because of distance. But I recently gained weight and knew if anyone could motivate me he could. Minus the 3hr wait I was completely satisfied after the visit. He has a way of speaking his mind very motivational and inspiring. So it was worth the wait. Everyone knows im impact so the fact that I didnt leave means something.

I would give zero stars if possible! I saw Dr Thomas in February 2019. The worst doctor office experience I have ever had from start to finish. The front desk workers (two women, one named Joan) were unprofessional, unorganized and rude. I would have walked out but I only needed a check up/pap smear and read from previous patients mixed reviews (some glowing, some bad of Dr. Thomas). Dr. Thomas did not appear to have any other patients (office is small and quiet) and no one else was in the waiting room with me. Dr. Thomas managed to keep me waiting to be seen at least 25 minutes. Relunctantly, but with frustration, I got dressed to see what the hold up was (I heard him laughing and conversing with the two women that at the front desk). I asked him how much longer it would be and he said hastily Youre next!. Ok..so I walk back to my room and start to undress again. Dr. Thomas then proceeds to walk in on me undressing! He didnt even give me two minutes and didnt ask to come in. During the pap smear, which took all of 15 seconds, he managed to not look me in the eye, talk to me with his back towards me, and try to tell me I had a vitamin definciency. He tried to sell me some vitamins without doing any tesing on me! After I leave, I am literally shaken. So terrible, I couldnt get out of the office any faster. THEN...about two weeks later, the rude woman from the front desk calls me to ask me what pharmacy do I want to pick up at?I repsonded, Hold on. Pick up WHAT? I hadnt even gotten my results told me yet. After I asked her again and let her know how unprofessional all this sounded, she put me on hold without saying anything to me and picked back up after about 15 seconds. I was in shock at the level of service at this point. She then told me that I had bacterial vaginosis and chlamydia and I needed to get my prescriptions. I knew this did not sound right at all. After I get my mind right after a few moments, I asked again for a full report of my records because this did not sound right. She then said, for me to receive my own records, I would have to request them and wait 3-5 business days! Ok. So I formally requested them and 3 weeks later, I still have not received these records. Here is the kicker---I immediately scheduled another pap for a second opinion. A week later, I had a completely clean pap and STD results without taking any antibiotics/meds! It is now April Ahmed STILL havent gotten my records. Needless to say, I am outlining this experience in detail so no other woman has to experience such unprofessionalism from Dr. Thomas and his staff.

HORRIBLE staff and service!!! The front desk MAs are incompetent at doing simple stuff like calling in prescription refills. Dr Thomas is rude and disrespectful! He thought it was appropriate to tell me as a patient “I don’t read much” for asking him a question. I’m PAYING my money to be treated terribly!!!! This office needs to be shut down!!! It’s unsanitary and unorganized. I can tell they don’t wash the changing beds! NEVER come here unless you want ghetto service and a long wait and a 2 minute visit!!!!

Dr. Thomas is as always extremely informative, helpful and most knowledgeable about the things needed to give our bodies the best chance to continue to regenerate themselves. I really appreciate the visit - the team was also very polite, professional and helpful.

Dr. Thomas is beyond excellent. He actually cares about your overall health and educates you. He is very detailed in explaining things. I would highly recommend him.

This man is heaven sent. I felt like I hit Joan pot walking into his office today. He is a wealth of knowledge. I finally feel confident about having this procedure done right In Chicago because I didn’t want to travel out of town to do. I’m so excited

Dr. Thomas is very knowledgeable about a womans body!! He removed my fibroids and my surgery went well. I received a bikini cut with no visible scars. Hes an excellent Gynecologist!

Rude, Unprofessional and GHETTO!!!! The office staff is horrible and unprofessional. There are all kinds of HIPPA violations that takes place in this office. Renee and Kamari should NEVER hold a job ever again. Dr. Thomas should be ashamed!!! I WILL NEVER come back. My advice is to RUN RUN RUN to new and current patients unless you like being mistreated.

Dr is a joke and a scam. He scammed me out of thousands of dollars telling me he is was doing a tubal reversal.

He is very caring and takes time with you, listens and really good doctor who cares about your physical and mental well being.

Best Doctor in the world, my opinion. Easy to talk to always available, very honest, doesn’t sugar coat, Very Funny, very educational, and is very Serious about your health and shows his interest in helping you make the best decision regarding your health.

The front desk staff is unprofessional. Once, you deal with them , you will not want to make an appointment or return . Also, there are confidentially issues. Patients medical records and prescriptions are lost, in addition to sitting in plain view for others to see. I think that the medical / front desk staff play a major part in this, everytime i would call they never know anything. Horrible !

Great experience every visit! Never afraid to talk to Dr. Thomas. He is such a relatable person. I can talk to him about all of my fears concerning my health. He has a solution for every health fear that I have.

I really in enjoyed my visit with Dr. Thomas. Hes very knowledgeable. My daughter came along and he talked to her on her level. Im very pleased with the care and attention that I received from Dr.Thomas.

ZERO STARS. I came in 2 years ago and they wouldnt stop trying to sell me pseudo health vitamins and juice blends that I never asked for. Told me I couldnt leave the office until I talked to a women about their juices. I had to side step her and left anyway. I havent stopped getting spam calls from the office ever since. 2 YEARS OF SPAM CALLS. It got so bad I had to block the number and they still leave 10 voicemails a WEEK. THIS IS THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

Dr. Thomas is the best gynecologist been seeing him for many years. He took out my fibroids best incession ever bakinni cut..i would never go to anyone else...hes the best..my surgery went very well wouldnt trust anyone else.

The staff is so unprofessional and all over the place. Doctor doesn’t greet nor ask you what’s the problem or if you have concerns, just looks at you and tell you wait in the front lobby and discuss your personal business there...HIPPA! Will be seeking services else where.
