I absolutely would not recommend Conceptions! They didn’t bill my insurance in the window they were suppose to (6mos!!) and instead of ever returning our call or working with us, they just automatically put us in self pay (and we had Progyny). Be very aware of complete inadequacy in billing and surprise bills. On top of that the transition to RMA was disorganized, they couldn’t access medical records, and we had to be our biggest advocates for what had occurred in the past, providing ERA records, etc… they had to change our protocol 3 times based on our memory, records and feedback! Seriously!!! Almost borders on malpractice. No wonder the last FET didn’t work. Nor did the previous 6 retrievals and 3 FETs. So after spending hundreds of thousands of dollars we have nothing to show for it, plus the final dagger is not billing our insurance and now making me pay for it! Being treated kindly is not in their repatriate whatsoever, so expect to pay with your money and mental anguish! I would HIGHLY suggest you START with CCRM, NOT HERE!!

Please don’t go here. After months of fighting with them they got my $300 and I got no follow up care or planning.Im at a loss for words to describe my frustration. My husband and I went to Conceptions, and from our very first meeting with the doctor, we felt judged and ignored. The meeting was 10 minutes and the doctor barely had the time to hear our concerns. In addition, it was a male, and you would think he would try to at least be compassionate for the women going through this. The front desk, the billing department, and the doctors all seem cold and indifferent—its like were just another case to them, all about the money. This journey is already incredibly difficult and disheartening, and feeling like they think were incompetent is just the icing on the cake.My husband and I will be finding a place that truly cares about us on this expensive and heart wrenching process.

I had a consultation in Aug 2023 with Dr. O’Shaughnessy who gave me 10 mins if her time. She skipped telling me about my chances for a natural pregnancy or IUI and went straight to IVF. She told me “Your chances of carrying to term are less than 1%”. Then went on to suggest an egg donor as my only option. I was distraught and so sad! I had regular periods so it didn’t make sense. I left in tears!Fast forward 2 months and I used ovulation tests to know when my fertility window was open. I got pregnant the natural way! I didn’t leave a review at the time bc I was so afraid the whole pregnancy I wouldn’t carry to term bc of what Dr O’Shaughnessy said to me. I delivered a healthy baby in May 2024 despite what the Dr predicted. Before I got pregnant, I booked a second opinion consultation with CCRM and had a MUCH better experience. Their Dr spent an hour with me going over each way to conceive and my chances with each. Much to my surprise, they said I’d be able to get pregnant naturally but agreed IVF was not a good option for me due to my AMH and egg count. This whole experience has me convinced Conceptions is in it for the money. Thus, why they said egg donation (most expensive) was the only option they’d do with me.I recommend getting a second opinion if your first came from them.

Unfortunately our experience from the beginning has been horrible. Weve taken a series of tests and had no one call to talk over the results. We had to message our Doctor twice before getting sent the results. But still no call. We just had to Google normal results and compare them. After which my wife got her HSG done, no one told us we couldnt have sex 3 days beforehand. When we got there they said that it was okay that we had sexy the day before. Which come to find out it isnt.Lastly when we finally had her HSG test done. We arrived and the y asked her if she had already started taking her antibiotics. To which she responded. No ones prescribed me antibiotics.Lets hope you have someone else in your network that you can see

I would advise everyone to avoid this place at all costs. You are only a dollar sign here. There’s no compassion in their care. After completing eight IUI cycles, my husband and I had a positive pregnancy test. However, the nurses told us this was not an actual pregnancy, but what they referred to as a biochemical pregnancy we struggle hearing this information later I had 10 cramping and bleeding, and I called the nurse emergency line. This is when the nurses told me I was having a miscarriage, imagine my shock when they tell me I’m not pregnant but then tell me I’m having a miscarriage. The bleeding and pain continued for weeks. I continued to call the nurses line and to send messages. My care team just told the same thing again, and again, it was a miscarriage, and my body would take care of it on its own. This was despite my abnormally rising hcg levels we were checking every other day. I knew there was something wrong with my body and no matter how hard I tried to advocate for myself I was told I was fine. One of the nurses told me to “take some Tylenol and put a heating pad on your tummy.” After several weeks of pain and bleeding, I ended up in the emergency room for a ruptured topic pregnancy that almost took my life. There was extensive bleeding in my abdomen, and I lost part of my reproductive system due to the neglect of care team. Rather than seek immediate legal action due to the neglect my husband and I met with the nurse manager, Sarah and the medical Director to share our concerns and experience. After bringing our concerns to the board of directors and ethics committee we were offered “ a very heavily discounted IVF cycle”. my husband and I agreed to this after much deliberation having no trust only because our goal was to have a baby! We were told they needed to look at some numbers and would get back to us soon. This offer was back in February 2024. Since then we have not heard from anyone at the facility. We have messaged and we have called many times. We have left messages with the front desk. We have asked for an email but we’re told we couldn’t have it. There has been no communication at all since our meeting. This place has no compassion in their care. If you want an individualized experience with a Care team that is concerned for your well-being and wants the best for you and your growing family- This is not the place to go.

Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a medical professional. Dr. Bush spent most of the consult bragging about his accomplishments instead of listening to us and answering our concerns. We elected to do several tests before determining our course of action. We had to hound the office for our results and then when we decided not to do IVF and instead look for another course of action they dumped us. Literally! They just dumped us! This place is only interested in providing the most expensive treatments and if you dont want that they don’t want you.One major red flag to be aware of is they brag about how amazing their lab is and they told us they do all their testing in their labs so they get the best results. All our test results came from lab corp??? Shame on us for believing the shady sales pitch. Thankfully there are several other doctors with better reviews that we can go to.

The most unprofessinal, sloppy, borderline malpractice medical establishment. I have experienced nurses listing incorrect prescriptions I should take to the doctor and medical staff not addressing a thyroid issue I insisted they address, which in turn, almost postponed my transfer. I have SEVERAL examples of this poor experience. At one point Dr. Chiangs response to me asking why they did not address my thyroid issue was we did not follow protocol. We dropped the ball.Avoid this place. I cant express the heartache and stress Conceptions has caused my family and I. This is not me venting lies or exaggerations behind a keyboard. I have recorded all conversations and documented everything showing proof of this mistreatment.

Very disappointing experience with Conceptions in Denver right off the bat. The doctor did not even introduce herself to us (we only know her name was O’Shaugnessy because it’s on our forms), and was very focused on just getting the process started even though we told her multiple times we were only there for an initial consult to discuss our options and the process with its details. She continually interrupted us when trying to clarify a topic of discussion or to ask a question and genuinely seemed like we were completely wasting her time. My wife and I have never gone through the process of having a baby, and were very excited to begin having the conversation with a specialist who could guide us and explain the in’s and out’s of the complicated nature to this process, but we were greatly disappointed in our experience with Dr O’Shaugnessy in particular. The rest of the staff are nice, but the portal and entire system of confirming appointments and insurance is very problematic and not done efficiently or effectively.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. My husband and I have unexplained infertility and Conceptions encouraged IVF over and over after we explicitly said we did not want to do it. We did every test they recommended and still came up with empty answers. We did do 4 rounds of IUI without success and were told at our follow-up consult this is why their providers rarely encouraged IUI because it just doesnt work. Why would you support us doing 4 rounds of IUI if you didnt think it would work?! I mentioned being concerned with Endometriosis given my excruciating period pain and infertility and my concerns were completely dismissed, again IVF was offered as a solution. Two years later and I had surgery with UC Health and was diagnosed with stage 3 Endometriosis on both ovaries, my bladder, and my uterus. My left ovary was literally adhered to my pelvic wall. My husband and I wasted precious years and thousands of dollars with Conceptions. Infertility is truly unimaginable which is why we reached out to the fertility experts, Conceptions is only an advocate for IVF

I wouldn’t even know how to express my frustration. My husband and I went to conceptions, from our first meeting with the doctor we felt judged and not listen to. The front desk , the billing department and the doctors are cold hearted, no one has sympathy for the awful thing your going through your just another case $$. This journey is already hard and so depressing and to feel like they think you are incompetent is the cherry on top. We did all of our initial testing and consult, it felt like we had to fallow up because frankly they have so many patients they could probably careless what we do. I had to take a pause due to some big financial legal proceedings. Again never fallow up on. I called to get my records because we’re finally ready to continue (with a different office) and they can’t access our records which is unacceptable. They are my records and I need them asap.

Worst experiences Ive ever had. Would not help with follow up treatment after my surgery had complications. So I wound up in the ER (phone line is a joke for any help, as I was in severe pain and bleeding and they didnt call back for too long in crisis despite calling their 24hour emergency line). Then after their review and follow up just they just copped out by saying to go back to the ER (NO TREATMENT WAS GIVEN). Spoilers, my salvation was a simple script away but they couldnt be bothered to try anything. Now Im trying to get them to send my information out and its the server was down for 4 weeks but I asked MONTHS ago. Now apparently they need an app on my phone to send the information, which, no, I am not doing. Except I would like that information sent to my healthcare team, so I tried to humor them and their emails to me did not include ANYTHING about said app unlike what they told me. Please do not use these people. They do not care and they are not professionals.

The fertility practice has been extremely disorganized and plagued by poor communication. At the Denver location, the doctor exhibited unprofessional bedside manner, barely acknowledging me or my husband during the initial consultation. The staff also struggled to verify my insurance coverage despite having my information well in advance. Despite clearly stating I would self-pay, I had to repeatedly reiterate this to multiple employees who seemed unable to properly document it.Even basic details like correctly spelling my name provedchallenging, as my internal patient file was created with a misspelled version of my name despite them having the proper spelling from my paperwork and my husbands prior visit. The Long Tree office was somewhat better during my HSG procedure, but there were still baffling lapses in communication and coordination. The doctor initially prescribed antibiotics for the procedure but then failed to inform the nurse, who told me they werent needed. During the actual HSG, they again said antibiotics were unnecessary, contradicting the doctors original advice. This exemplified the disturbing lack of communication between providers.Obtaining copies of my medical files has also been an ongoing struggle with this practice. To compound matters, I recently received a bill suggesting they attempted to file an insurance claim despite my insistence on self-paying both visits. I have receipt of full payment for both visits as self-pay. So this is another issue I will need to call about tomorrow. Their inability to properly document and follow through is extremely concerning.Overall, this fertility clinic has exhibited staggering disorganization, lapses in communication between staff and providers, and a stunning degree of incompetence with basic responsibilities like insurance verification and accurate record-keeping. My experience has been utterly frustrating at nearly every step.

I have been with Conceptions for about five years. We have gone through several retrievals and three transfers. I am currently 13+ weeks with our last transfer. There are several people there that make you feel special; Linda from lab, several of the nurses, and the ladies at the front desk have all been amazing. Then there are other times that you dont feel very special. I wish that there was more communication from doctors and not just nursing. For example, when I had my miscarriages the doctor didnt reach out at all and I had to wait several weeks for a regroup before I could hear from the doctor. Maybe thats the small-town girl that just expects that, but it would be nice to hear from the provider when things are at their worst. Thats really my only issue I have had with Conceptions over the years. At the end of the day I would recommend them to anyone who needs help. So far I am cooking my rainbow baby and I am very grateful.

The nurses at Conceptions were the only positive thing about our experience with conceptions. They were sympathetic, understanding and very responsive. We found our doctor to be cold and degrading by speaking to us in a way that did not make us feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation of having to see a fertility doctor after a year of trying to conceive. She only met with us for about 10 minutes at the initial meeting and ordered about $4k in tests that took us about 1 month to complete. Then when we went to schedule a follow up, the doctor was unable to meet with us for an entire month and a half. When we finally met with her she spent about 20 minutes at our follow up. She was rattling off our test data while she was clearly viewing it for the first time. Then she told us her recommendation with very little explanation. We left their feeling completely defeated and heartbroken. We very much felt like she was just there to get a hefty paycheck in which we were providing her for really doing nothing but talking down to us.In addition, we were self-paying and the Conceptions billing system is terribly flawed. We were told we would need to pay specific amounts for specific procedures and then we would receive bills that did not reflect those payments. I spent multiple phone calls with their billing department in which the employee could not clarify or explain why the charges weren’t matching up. I would have to follow up to get in contact with anyone else.Visiting a fertility doctor after a year of trying to conceive is not something that people expect, understand, or want to be doing so feeling like the specialists have your best interest in mind is really valuable in this experience. We only felt that way with the nurses and no one else. We wish we would have looked at the reviews more closely because it seems like many people have had a similar experience. We feel that we wasted our time by going to Conceptions. We have since gotten a 2nd opinion from a different fertility clinic and the experience was like night and day. I would NOT recommend Conceptions.

Overall such a positive experience. 5/5 recommendation Dr chiang she is excellent. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with her. She was very straight forward and has excellent bedside manner. She was available for questions on the portal when needed and responded very timely. She was a smiling face every encounter and made the process of IVF that much easier I trusted her judgment through every step of the way. The only issue I had was with my retrieval nurse. She called the day I was to start my retrieval protocol and told me that we would be delayed an entire month. I was pretty upset and we ended the phone call. She called back one hour later to tell me we will be starting the protocol that next day for retrieval and there would be no delay. It was apparently an error on conceptions part with my insurance authorization that wasn’t necessary to start. I was just taken aback at the fact there was never an apology about the first phone call. She clearly doesn’t understand the emotional rollercoaster that IVF is and that I was feeling that day. Just a simply apology would have been greatly appreciated. Aside from that encounter, I’ve had a great experience with conceptions. My transfer nurse was amazing. I always felt in the loop and full heartedly supported during the transfer process. Our first transfer was (thus far) a success and have since graduated from the clinic, but we will return when we are ready to transfer embryo number 2!

From the beginning of my wife and Is experience at Conceptions we had a feeling that we werent getting the best care; this was validated when we decided to go visit another clinic - Shady Grove Fertility.More on our experience: My wife and I realized we needed to pursue IVF after getting fertility testing and realizing that I had a diagnosis of low sperm count (oligospermia). After hearing about other friends experience with IVF we scheduled with Conceptions based on a recommendation from my urologist (TUCC).We arrived at our first appointment in JUNE 2023 with Dr. OShaugnessy. During our first appointment, Dr OShaugnessy was extremely cold and dismissive. One of the quotes that sticks out was were not going to talk about what ifs after we attempted to get more information about the process. She made it seem as if the idea of IVF was impossible for us. Yet, our urologist made it clear from the beginning that despite our low counts; IVF was possible and we should pursue immediately. While we understood walking away from that appointment that we had to get some testing done; we knew nothing about the process as a whole. We knew nothing about the financial aspects. For the next 7 months we completed test after test by request of Conceptions. Everything they requested came in piece meal; we never understood the path, beginning, or end. After every test we had requested to regroup with Dr. OShaughnessy to understand the process more and we were told we couldnt.During all the testing process we also were encouraged to self pay. We never had a discussion about insurances, coverage, or whether they could bill to our insurance(s). Our frustration was compounded by the messaging system that Conceptions uses that seemed to be disorganized. We never talked to the same individual and we had to send messages through the portal that wouldnt allow you to respond in line to a thread but continuously send new emails to a monitoring email. We never had any advocate or personalization through this process. The process continued to be extremely confusing up through the Winter at which time we decided to pursue a meeting with Shady Grove.Shady Grove was warm and welcoming. The Dr. was the opposite of OShaugnessy. She was compassionate, hopeful, and data driven. Just like our urologist, Dr. Roca at Shady Grove expressed that we indeed WERE candidates for IVF and despite my testing/situation; we could complete IVSCI as soon as March. She walked us through the entire process, explained our insurance coverage (were fully covered), and the science behind the process. She showed us diagrams and charts and even entered our data in to a calculator to show us that our odds of success are 85% based on our tests. She explained exactly what the process will entail; and insisted that we schedule the egg retrieval with her nurses. We walked away from our meeting with Shady Grove feeling hopeful and informed. Our conclusion on Conceptions was the following:1. Dr. OShaughnessy was cold and dismissive. Weve heard form others Shes from New York, thats how she is. Thats not an excuse. This is a sensitive time for couples and there is some tact that can be used.2. Conceptions is greedy. We never got to talk about insurance coverage and were encouraged to self pay.3. Conceptions is more concerned about their success rates than our hope to have children. We suspect their continued kicking of the can down the line was to try and see if my counts would improve; despite that we were a candidate for IVSCI from day 1.4. Conceptions is uninformative. Shady Grove clearly explained the process and what was required from Day 1. We never learned ANYTHING from Conceptions despite being patients for 7 months. My wife and I highly recomend not pursuing IVF at Conceptions. Or, at least following parallel paths at other clinics. The differences will be clear! Were very happy with Shady Grove and our egg retrievals and transfers are scheduled for June!

My husband and I moved to Colorado to take advantage of the building families act, which allowed us to pursue infertility treatment that we had been struggling with for 5 years. We began our journey with Conceptions 2 years ago under the care of Dr. Grob. Unfortunately, she unexpectedly left her position during our treatment and we were referred to Dr. Green in Lafayette, Colorado. We had a telehealth appointment with him where he explained that IVF was our best option. When we logged into the patient portal, we were provided with some information about our insurance coverage for infertility treatment. Conceptions took the initiative to start me on hormone pills and prepare me for the IVF process. However, just 2 days before the next step, we received an email from Hannah Billinsly stating that we owed almost $4,000 in facility fees. She specifically mentioned that this amount had to be paid out of pocket and not covered by insurance. We were shocked, as we had already paid our high deductible of $5,000, and our insurance company had already paid for the IVF procedure. The fact that Conceptions surprised us with this charge, making it impossible for us to continue with our IVF journey, has left us extremely frustrated and angry. We feel that their actions are unethical and unprofessional, particularly since they seem to be targeting financially vulnerable couples who are desperate to start a family. We hope that this company will face consequences for their behavior and potentially be shut down. It would have been much better if we had been informed about these charges prior to beginning treatment, instead of being blindsided after already starting hormone medications. We are now in the process of pursuing our insurance company to withdraw their funds from Conceptions. We also hope that our insurance provider, BCBS, will reconsider their partnership with this clinic. We strongly urge anyone seeking infertility treatment to consider finding another clinic or saving up for unexpected expenses that were not outlined in the initial contract with the doctor. It is truly unbelievable how unethical and predatory Conceptions has proven to be.

I went to CCRM before going to Conceptions which turned out to be a real mistake, but also equipped me with a sense of the true value of Conceptions over our other choice. First of all, Conceptions is a privately owned (not Venture Capital backed) practice. I think you see this manifest in that they make that I found to be more patient and data centric. For every recommendation Dr. Greene made he would literally flip around his computer monitor and point to a medical study that was either complete or in process. This was a Dr. that clearly has never stopped learning, nor will he, and thats the type of doctor you want. Additionally, the Conceptions nursing staff - which is a central component to the experience - is also noticeably more happy than I found at CCRM. The reason this matters is that you only see the Dr. a couple of times really at key points, but the people you work the most with are taking blood, doing your sonograms, and the nurses that help with egg freezing, FET, etc. The nurses and staff at conceptions were wonderful, welcoming, flexible and on point. Most importantly - they got the job done. At Conceptions I wasnt a number, and they accomplished in a few cycles what took CCRM 5 (and they produced nothing). Save yourself time and heartache. This is where you want to be.

Super stressful experience, even before starting my IVF journey. The patient service is arguably the most important part of my experience, especially if you are working in the medical field.1. Beginning with me wanting phone calls not emails. That was ignored- despite me asking 5 times and your nurses assuring me they will make a note in my account.2. I needed lab work for something during my cycle, I was told someone would reach out to me-- nothing. I am the one who called more than 2x and I get a horrible representative who had no clue what I was talking about. I asked to speak to manager, and she was able to schedule- With attitude that is.3. Instead of answering my questions and concerns, a nurse named Lindsay D answered her own questions, not mine. She told me things like I will prepare your calendar instead of answering my specific questions. What calendar? you mean the unorganized email with 1000 things, which again, none of it made sense.4. I asked the nurse again, and i get I am asking that you review it first before sending me multiple emails So we can use our time to the best of expectations. when she didnt send it.To you this might be just a job, but to some of us with PCOS, this is super scary and could end up fatal.5. Nurse directed me to your horrible portal which is not user friendly at all. Again, I am having to read things instead of your team explaining things to me.6. I had yet to get on hormones and imagine if I needed you guys during a dangerous situation. You would have made it worse. This is an IVF clinic, you legit have 1 job. I am not sure if you guys are overworked, underpaid, or just plain not interested in your career but a walmart employee has been more helpful than you guys.I am really glad that the universe moved my DR over and send me a final sign to leave your office. If you want to be treated like a normal patient, head over to Denver Fertility where bedside manners actually exist. Not just with the Docs but with every employee along the way.

It can be hard to fully trust a group of strangers with something so sensitive and important but they made us feel comfortable and confident in their knowledge and skills. We are expecting our little boy in August and can never thank them enough for giving us the opportunity to be parents.

I would have loved to give 5 stars but unfortunately not everything about my experience warranted this score.First off, I did have a fairly successful IVF treatment and for that I am grateful. There were positives including my doctor, the facilities, and the treatment itself, but more negatives that could be rectified with better customer service and training. The positives first. Dr. Chiang was lovely, knowledgeable, and incredibly reassuring throughout the process. Other doctors I encountered were also very pleasant and I felt safe and confident in their hands. The total process led me to egg retrieval and the end result was what I hoped for. The facilities were clean, easy to access (the Littleton location was far from northern colorado especially needing to drive back and forth multiple times), but it was what I signed up for.Now the negatives. The nursing staff - while mostly nice made me feel as though I was just a number. Never really took the time to get to know me or check in with me especially after the final retrieval. My IVF nurse never contacted me after my final procedure. Maybe not necessary but it would have felt nice to know they cared about my well-being.Additionally I was given several documents throughout the process that were clearly copied and pasted - not personalized - and they even included other clients names on the documents to which I had to ask the nurses if the instructions were even meant for me. Very unprofessional and concerning due to HIPAA privacy laws. I can only hope my information was not on a piece of paper given to another client but I truly don’t know. Seeing other clients names felt icky and again like we were all just numbers. Also the nurses gave me prescriptions that were not even used. These medications were mostly paid for out of pocket and are currently sitting in my refrigerator. They said my doctor changed the plan, but I don’t really know if I believe this or whether this was another overlooked piece of information. Either way it was costly and if I could I would happily donate the medication back to someone (I know not possible).Lastly, the one frequent communication I do receive from Conceptions is from their billing department. They seem to contact me more after to process than the nurses ever did. What’s frustrating is I told the financial department I would be paying out of pocket and despite this, and paying a wide sum of money upfront (close to $8,000 not including medications) I continue to receive bills. Not sure why. When I call, I don’t seem to get a response except for a voicemail that says someone will contact me within 24-48 business hours. It has been that amount of time and longer and still no call back.So overall, content with the overall process but there is much to be improved to make women feel valued and respected. My doctor again was fantastic and I can’t recommend her enough. Just seems like there is much improvement to be done with their customer service and communication.

After dealing with infertility for several years, and seeing another practice for IUI we turned to Dr Oshaughnessy at Conceptions and couldnt be happier. From our first consultation to our IVF graduation the staff, nurses, PAs and Drs have been fantastic. Their communications are clear, they are kind and compassionate, and the offices are conveniently located around Denver which is helpful for scheduling. IVF is expensive, but we found Conceptions to be reasonable and they offered consultations to discuss possible financing options. We are currently pregnant with our first child and will see Dr. O when we are ready to add to our family in the future!

I have lots of positive things to say about Conceptions, I have also had a few are areas of improvement. Its always hard to gauge the right type of service vs. wrong in a fertility situation. Obviously its sensitive situation. I thought the nurses I was assigned to were great. Super helpful, responded quickly to questions, and were so kind on the phone. Especially Erika. I was a little surprised on the lack of communication from the doctor. I understand nurses can do a lot of this work, but I would have liked a little more communication from the doctor. Even when we found out of IVF had worked, I never heard from the doctor after implementation. My other area of improvement is just a little more communications on side costs. These arent explained up front and in looking back we spent a lot of extra money on things not really discussed. Drugs obviously cost money. Extra surgeries cost money. Going in for ultrasounds after implanting costs additional money. I think if that is more clearly discussed up front, then you will realize, your IVF treatment could be twice what is advertised.Positives again would be the nurses. Always so wonderful. I thought scheduling and communication on your schedules was very good. I am grateful for their patience and understanding during difficult times. While we were fortunate to get the outcome we desired, we know not all are so lucky. I thought even given the areas of improvement, the clinic was a great fit for us and helped us through a difficult time. We will plan to use again in future.

Conceptions is great. Not sure where to start but it is totally a new experience for me and my wife . They actually made it easy on your first appointment and it has been the same since then. We went there to see Dr. Grob and she was very friendly and attentive listening to us when we were expressing our problem and she helped us by showing us all the options and its flexibility to make it work. Also, front desk, nurses, sonographers, lab techs and everyone there was very friendly in all of our visits. Although, billing department could service could be better as we had trouble getting their attention waiting on calls for longer times and also the site was down very often for making payments getting transaction decline errors and then we had to call them again and do the payment by phone. Well, aside for this small titbit, I’d highly recommend this place!

We made an appointment 3 weeks ago. I took time away from my business, and my partner took time off of work so we could both attend. We arrive on time only to be told that our appointment was canceled. They said someone called from a random number, but they didnt leave a voicemail. So we wasted at least 2 hours getting to and from the location, and no one let us know that they canceled our appointment. No confirmation with us, no voice-mail, no email. We also saw that they were using Lysol on all of the pens and clipboards. Lysol contains many hormonal disruptors. I would expect a fertility clinic to know that and to only be using natural products.Thank you for disrespectfully wasting our entire morning. We also had to pay for parking.

Fertility is stressful, the cost that comes with it is stressful, will this work or not…stressful. The staff, Doctors and nurses at Conceptions…amazing and calming.Their communication is thorough and they answer timely. Dr Grob didn’t tell us what we wanted to hear and she didn’t have us try one fertility option and jump around. She laid it out there for us and told us why, it was of course our decision. She was amazing and I know she meant everything she said to us, from condolences to excitement. Everyone at Conceptions made this process easier than I could have ever imagined. I thank you for being there to help couples make their wish come true.

We had the best experience at conceptions. The entire process felt very intimidating heading into it but that didn’t last long. Dr.Chiang was beyond amazing every step of the way. She explains every process in ways we understood, she was very communicative at all hours of the day and made great efforts to reassure us that we were in great hands. The genuine care she had for us really showed throughout the whole process. I cannot say enough about Jessica Rico our IVF nurse. She has been a god sent, we always have a million questions and concerns being that this isn’t something we do everyday. But Jessica never skipped a beat when answering our questions and giving further explanations right away. Getting the “you are pregnant” call from a stranger just wouldn’t have been as special as hearing those words from a nurse you’ve grown to know. The two of them made the best team to knock us up, we are forever grateful for them! I wouldn’t want to experience this process with any other clinic. Our Ultrasound tech was usually Pam! She made the constant visits something to look forward to. We’d chat about our plans for the weekend, holidays etc and have that follow up conversation to look forward to at our next visit. Thank you conceptions for not making us feel like just a number!

If I could give a 0 star… I would. Let me start by saying I’m an RN, I have an extensive background in critical care, care management and clinic settings. I have never in my life felt so taken back by a healthcare group. From after the first appointment with Dr. Grob, it was hurdle after hurdle, so much false hope, disappointment and so many tears.I was slightly taken back by how fixated the doctor and nurses was on my BMI. BMI is an extremely poor indicator of a person’s health since it doesn’t factor gender, hormones, activity, nutrition or ethnicity. Either way I played the game and went to see nutrition. The nutritionist stated they had nothing for me and that I lived a good, active and balanced lifestyle. Many women much larger than me manage to conceive safely.First it was “oh just a few tests and we can meet again to get a plan together”. I had my HSG done and so much blood work, hopeful I could finally meet to get a plan together. Then it turned into being forced to see multiple different specialists, nutrition, hematology, maternal fetal, etc. These specialists book months out, creating a HUGE delay in care. My husband and I were completely heartbroken. The staff literally used the other specialties as leverage to not provide an appointment stating that they didn’t have “clearance” to get me a follow up care plan appt booked. They just kept saying “we want to make sure you’re safe to conceive”. In the medical world, you can establish a care plan and change it along the way… they were not open to this. Made no sense.I’ve never in my life been denied an appointment to see a doctor that I have been already established with. The hematologist practically laughed in my face, she just said “you’re platelets are hardly elevated and I’m not at all concerned, just take a baby aspirin”. Talk about embarrassing. In the midst of all of this chaos and stress, I found out Dr. Grob left the clinic, no notification, no warning, no reassignment to a new doctor, nothing. They claimed letters, emails and messages through the portal were sent and neither my husband or I received anything! We triple checked! They assigned me to Dr. O and stated it would be almost 2 months until I could be seen.My other major issue was the nursing staff. As a nurse myself, I strive to treat my patients with dignity, respect, and ensure their needs are met and triaged/escalated correctly and in a timely fashion. The nurses drastically failed at triaging and escalating and my time was not at all valued. You’re at the mercy of the nursing and scheduling staff, that isn’t ok when they aren’t treating patients appropriately. I felt bullied and degraded.Initially we were all on an email basis (initiated by them). I was told my nurse was Kendell. Then it turned into “we are all your nurses”, now I had 4 different nurses email but no idea who to reach out to. No rapport or continuity.I voiced several times I had specific medical concerns (things were not normal after the HSG)… I asked that my messages be escalated to the new doctor assigned, the nurses refused. I was asking medically based questions (which I know is not in a nurse’s scope), which is why it needed to be escalated, still nothing. They simply stated “you can address your concerns at your appointment”.From working clinic and care management, I understand how messaging back and forth with patients works, I understand when to escalate, I also understand preserving a doctors time when certain concerns can be addressed by nurses… these nurses did not.I asked for the new doctor’s email (I had my previous doctor’s personal email), as I wanted to introduce myself and ask questions since my needs couldn’t wait…the nurses refused. The list goes on and on…I’m dumbstruck they haven’t been sued.In the medical world, we throw around the term “needy patient” a lot, which I probably was… but it’s because my needs weren’t being addressed.I’m beyond disgusted and would never refer anyone here, so sad and no baby yet. We moved to a different clinic.

My husband and I had a great experience at Conceptions. We started at CCRM and switched because CCRM was like a cold and complicated factory. I just did not have the energy for that. The Conceptions staff was a lot warmer and the process felt clearer.I am now 10 weeks pregnant through IVF from a first-time natural transfer. We have one more embryo frozen. Here are my tips about making the most of your experience at Conceptions:-Be on top of what is coming next, your medicine and contact your nurse. Dont wait around for them to contact you because you can get lost in their shuffle.-Some of the nurses are better than others.-You are treated a lot better once you are on the IVF train and you are treated way better by the nurses the farther along the process you go. Those initial nurses are the worst ones you will experience but it gets better.-Some of the doctors are not incredibly warm but they were way warmer than CCRM.-You will get little instruction on your medicines so you have to teach yourself through the videos and manuals they give you. It seems a lot more daunting in the beginning than it was.-Ask if you are a candidate for a natural transfer because it will save you a few grand in medicine and it is an easier process.Good luck on your journey!

Dr. (Grindler) Grob was absolutely wonderful, very professional, very easy to communicate, very quick to get things scheduled. 10/10 would recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for help in starting a family. Please understand that while fertility clinics are medically necessary in order to have a child for some people, they are not clinics for your emotional needs. They were absolutely wonderful to my wife and I and I did not need them to be emotionally comforting or supportive bc that’s not their role. We paid them to get me pregnant, that’s it. And they did a wonderful job of doing so! (A little too good bc I’m pregnant with twins 😂)On more than one occasion my nurse would email me and say the front desk would reach out for the next appointment, to which I took it upon myself to call and set up my own appointment. This was no fault on them, I’m just an adult who is capable of making a phone call instead of complaining on the internet.

Dr. Althea OShaughnessy is an excellent physician. I appreciate her experience, knowledge, and care. I know that more unhappy people leave review than happy people in the medical field, so Id say take their review about this place with a grain of salt. They told me that they bill every patient at this clinic as infertility and that my insurance would not cover it. My issue was not infertility, so I insisted that they code it correctly and I just got the claim back that my insurance did in fact cover it. I felt as if they wanted me to pay the cash price to make it easier on them. During the session, the nurse went through a generalized recommended protocol without even looking at the new patient history form I spent time filling out. She didnt care to get to know me or my husband or make us feel comfortable, she questioned my miscarriage and brushed it off, after all this is a very emotional and vulnerable experience for couples and we just wanted her to have some kind of emotion. She immediately pushed us off to the nurse where she starts making you sign a punch of forms and consents and setting up all these appts for you to start treatment and no time to process what you want to do. After battling with infertility for several years (TTC for almost 4 years) I decided to reach out to my traditional OB to start fertility testing. They referred me to Conceptions and I ended up with Dr. Grindler and I could not have been more happy with the whole team. Dr. Grindler herself was quite pregnant at the time and for me that was comforting because it just let me know that she truly knows how important this can be for the women she treats. She was warm, welcoming, and not at all rushed with me. She walked be through everything that could be tested and why it might be tested. When it turns out I was at the right time in my cycle to have a lot of the tests done she made sure I was taken care of before needing to wait yet another month. Her nurse was easy to talk to, also very informative, never rushed me and answered again any question or concern I had. Scheduling was always easy and I never felt they were too busy for me as a patient. When all the results came back we set a time to review them with Dr. Grindler, but I had conceived naturally so was pregnant when Dr. Grindler delivered news that according to the tests it would be very hard for me to conceive naturally. She was so sensitive to how this could be devastating news and when she learned I was pregnant her genuine and almost over the top joy for me made it finally feel real. It was wonderful. She immediately ensured that they did an ultrasound right then and there (not scheduled or planned for that appointment). It was such a wonderful experience and I couldnt have asked for a nicer doctor. Unfortunately I did ultimately miscarry at 9 weeks, but when I had massive medical bills related to dealing with that, I reached out to the billing department at Conceptions to see if we could work something out, (billing dept. at regular OB not super flexible) they were super compassionate and it was clear the lady helping me knew exactly what I was going through and dealing with. They are professionals who provided me the treatment I asked them to and I will certainly ensure they get paid but it was nice to feel that the person on the other end of the phone knew I was a person and not just another invoice due. I have had several friends who have gone through infertility issues and one went so far as to not even tell me who her doctor was because her experience was so negative with them. I obviously cannot speak to other doctors in this office, but I highly recommend Dr. Grindler and her particular team if you are struggling with infertility and want answers.

The worst IVF clinic ever. I am horrified at how bad their communication was. If I had questions they were not answered on a timely basis and I got an attitude(it was a super obnoxious fake friendly attitude). You literally are encouraged not to call and follow up. You will rarely talk to your doctor. Maybe just once a cycle you will see them. Its a nurse run practice. Stay away far far away. I have anxiety about IVF from this clinic. I wish I did more research before coming here because so many women have shared my same experience at conceptions. Their success numbers are high because they push out women with DOR and encourage donor eggs from day 1. My husband is a physician and was shocked at the lack of communication and how difficult it was to reach a physician. He even told my provider that he takes calls from his patients and she should too. You can call me but if it’s to harass me about my honest review I’m not interested.

The billing department and front desk are a nightmare. The communication is awful. I left multiple messages for the billing department to figure out if I was going to owe anything for two bloodwork appointments. No one ever called me back and the front desk was rude and no help at all. So when I went to my appointment, the front desk was like surprise youre gonna have pay $100 for each appointment. I was really frustrated to say the least. They said I was self pay but for everything up to this point they have billed my insurance and they send me a statement in the mail. I have ALWAYS paid my bill on time and I have never had a balance. They said i didnt have to pay this time but I would have to next time because my balance was high. I didnt know I had a balance because I havent received a statement. This was from services I had in July and early August. So Im about to get my blood drawn when I ask what this test is for because no one explained why I needed to get this done. A nurse comes to talk to me and shes confused too. She said that it wasnt necessary. Wow! Im glad I asked. I would have had to pay for it out of pocket when I didnt even need to get it done in the first place. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a healthcare setting. Dr. Althea O’Shaughnessy was cold and off-putting from the first moment that we sat down in her office. Based on a quick glance at one, basic hormone test performed by my OBGYN, she immediately told my husband and me that I am “not a candidate for IVF” and that I “cannot have a healthy pregnancy at my current weight” despite my OBGYN and GP telling me otherwise. She then went on to say that, even if I lost weight, my “only option is to use a donor egg.” An ultrasound had not even been performed yet to evaluate my follicle count. She did not have all of my medical records. She then continued on, telling us, “Sorry, but I’m very direct.” There’s direct, and then there’s completely lacking in compassion and evidence-based advice. Without knowing anything about our finances or priorities, she even started to tell us how we likely can’t afford to waste our money on treatments that have a slim chance of success. It was immediately clear that Conceptions is all about their “IVF Success Rate,” as they have it posted all over the office; apparently they keep their rate so high by turning away couples who aren’t a “sure thing.” It was a humiliating experience, and since our “evaluation” was based on very little information, it was ultimately a waste of our time. I wasn’t even able to have my ovaries evaluated properly via transvaginal ultrasound, because, by their own admission, they don’t have the best equipment (however, the ultrasound tech was at least kind and compassionate). We left with nothing more than a list of supplements that I could take, and the nurse who was “assigned” to us couldn’t even answer our questions about the function of each of the supplements. On the advice of a friend, we are now working with a different clinic.Unless you are 25, thin, have an abundance of eggs, and merely have unexplained infertility, don’t waste your time; Conceptions, or at least Dr. O’Shaughnessy, isn’t interested in helping you.

No financing no payment plan. Thats the cost of a house or even a down payment for one. Well turned out to be a lie. After seeing a specialist and another ultra sound there was no fibroid big enough to need to be removed as well as there there are other options they werent even willing to discuss. They just sat there and watched my wife and I become devastated by the news then waited to see if we would be able to fork out $30,000.VETERANS STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.I HAVE MADE MY COMPLAINT TO THE VA AND REQUESTED TO HAVE THE CONTRACT CANCELLED BY THE VA SO THAT TO THIS COMPANY CAN NO LONGER TAKE ADVANTAGE.

It is an awful feeling to not be able to get pregnant naturally, but Dr. Grindler successfully walked me through every tiny detail with such compassion. It is easy to feel helpless when you are in this situation, but Dr. Grindler listened to all of my concerns and made me feel like I was part of the team. She helped me understand why we were having difficulty conceiving, and she explained every process of the workup. She gave me a detailed timeline which helped keep me sane and working towards the next step. She was readily accessible and willing to answer all of my questions, no matter how minor they may have seemed. Ultimately, under the guidance of Dr. Grindler, I was able to conceive my two beautiful daughters, and I could not be more grateful to her. I truly felt like my success was as special for her as it was for us. It is easy to tell how much she cares about each patient and genuinely wants to see their goals and dreams achieved. This is what makes her so amazing at her job. I will definitely consult with her again if we decide to have more children.

Worked with another fertility clinic before working with Conceptions and I wish I wouldn’t have wasted the time of money. I have only the best things to say about this clinic and everyone we worked with

They mess up with my bills. I was in this clinic 2 years ago and today l received a bill from them. But l did pay everything and l have receipts which l showed them. But nothing helps they keep sending to me the same bills and saying they cant find my transaction. So keep it in mind you can receive the same bills 2 or 3 years.

Dr. Grinder is an excellent physician. Fertility and IVF can be very stressful, but my wife and I have always found her to be very caring, thoughtful, and calming. I highly recommend her to anyone contemplating IVF.

Im still in the process of using their services but I agree with the other reviewer that my original quote ended up being a lot more. They dont say in the beginning that you need to add the cost of meds which could be up to 10k more. Pretty significant price difference. The staff were nice as far as their humanity goes but perhaps they are understaffed bc seem a bit rushed at times but I guess that is how it is at doctors offices. Could work on a few things like providing written materials ...everything is verbal as far as what to expect with timeline of the whole IVF process. Printed material provided incorrect phone number. Main office secretary didnt know the IVF nurse phone number when I misplaced it. Just small things I think that can be tweaked.

My first time visit was awful, they book the wrong appointment, so when I came, doctor is not available. I wait 4 hours, then doctor see me for 20mins that cast 175bucks. not even know the informations I left in front dest a week a ago, didn’t give me any professional suggestions. Just order a lot of test, some I already did, but she didn’t even read the profile I gave to her. and spend more money on them. Never go back again.
