My husband and I switched to AFCC after being unsuccessful with another clinic. Dr. Schell is an amazing doctor! She’s patient and takes her time to listen and answer all of your questions! Everyone at the Downers Grove location are kind and helpful! Thanks to Dr. Schell my husband and I welcomed our baby boy! We’re extremely grateful and blessed to be parents 💙

Both the staff and Dr. Schell are welcoming, personable, and friendly. The energy there is honestly great!

If I could give zero stars I would. Dr. Schell uses fear to scare you into thinking you have no options but to pay thousands of dollars for IVF. After one quick ultra sound on any random day of your cycle she can tell this? Absolutely false… during our consultation all she did was talk about another patient that was having multiples from an IVF treatment and how dangerous that can be. She didn’t ask me or my husband about medical history or try to get to know us, just slapped a big “infertile” sticker on our foreheads and I left in tears. This process is already stressful enough, find a doctor that cares a little bit more about you over the money. On top of this they lost our paperwork so we had to hand fill it out at our appointment and the DG office is just a satellite office, you’ll have to travel to Gurnee for everything.

I just want to start by saying I have personally never been to this clinic or dealt with them on a personal level in anyway. That being said, I have an acupuncture clinic where I now have had 4, count them 4, patients in the last few weeks who have literally told me horror stories about this place and the Dr. I know that no Dr or clinic can have a perfect track record with every single patient. But, as a medical practitioner who has been working with IVF patients for over 13 years, I am blown away by what I’ve heard from my patients. Which btw, all had pretty much the exact same stories. I am hoping that by writing this review this clinic takes note on what is being said about their practice and changes are made to fully support women going through one of the hardest times of their lives

During my initial consultation with Dr. Schell I was immediately put at ease. She was very kind, personable , and extremely thorough as she took the time to get to know me and explain the testing and options. Everyone I encountered in the office (after checking in) was also so warm and friendly. This seems small, but during an appointment that had my anxiety spiking, this type of experience helped reduce that anxiety and made me feel like I made the right choice in choosing this facility to explore fertility options.

This clinic was wonderful. I did IVF over the past few months (successfully!) and truly cannot say enough good things. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and so kind. Would recommend to anyone pursuing fertility treatment.

Amazing place! They are so nice and caring! I got my results the same day and nurse very kindly explained everything. I previously was in fertility doctors of Illinois location and it was terrible. But this place is absolutely amazing! Recommend!

Only certain people receive respect here - not everyone. I suggest finding a qualified gynecologist to help you on your journey.

She was professional. She had a smile on the hole time. Very friendly and easy to talk to. I had all of my questions answered. My appointment was not rushed through.

I felt taken care of in Dr Schells presence. Her professional yet personal touch to discussing fertility preservation and IVF was what I was looking for! Looking forward to meeting the rest of the team in the process!

I’ve had one consultation with Dr. Schell and I can already tell she’s a great doctor. She took the time to explain every detail thoroughly as well as answer all my questions/concerns. She even provided her personal number for a direct line of communication. I’m excited to continue working with her!

Worst experience. They never call you back; they messed up my husbands labs, so that’s scary, for obvious reasons.
