Debra Schell, M.D.

Dr Schell is a highly communicative doctor (one of the best I’ve met). She spends the time to listen and explain to patients all their options and plan of care. She has great bedside manner and truly cares about her patients and their goals/ needs when it comes to fertility. I highly recommend Dr Schell as I travel an hour just to see her. And after talking with a few fertility providers she was my top choice.

Dr. Schell made my husband and I feel very comfortable and confident with the process during our consult. She did a thorough job explaining everything. We spent over an hour with her. We can’t wait to start the process.

I truly feel like I’ve hit the jackpot with Dr. Schell. I couldn’t be happier with my care, my husband and I can’t stop raving about how individualized our care was to our personal situation. I’ve worked with 2 other major clinics in the Chicagoland area, and we felt like they were just going through the motions with us, just doing the same thing they do for everyone, and not listening to our concerns. We’ve never felt like that in the care of Dr. Schell, even from our initial consult with her I could tell that she was actually listening to us and we left that consultation absolutely beaming from ear to ear because we finally found the doctor we needed. Having just finished my egg retrieval, I can confidently say that we were correct! My care literally couldn’t have been managed better. We are so thankful.

From the first appointment, I have felt well informed and truly cared about from not only Dr. Schell, but all of the staffembers I have come in contact with at Advanced Fertility! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking answers and assistance with infertility of any kind. We love the staff and are truly blessed to have found this clinic!

Dr. Schnell seemed nice enough. We had a virtual appointment to see if they were able to accommodate our request. She is not up to date on her research on endometriosis. She did not initiate communication with her team about receiving our embryo transfer. Her clinics Gurnee team is very disorganized. I hade multiple people requesting multiple copies or documents and sending me multiple copies of the same documents. They did not answer questions thoroughly or in a timely manner. I didnt receive a call back from the operations . A slight delay on their part later turned out to be an estimate of up to 8 weeks which doesnt seem slight. Their disposition of embryos consent form is inflexible. Any disagreement between parties results in disposable of them. At another clinic, there were more options, such as giving them to a particular partner.

Doctor Schell was so supportive, patient, and very knowledgeable. She explained everything to me in depth, and I am so grateful.

First virtual meeting went great! Very knowledgeable, kind, and receptive of our wants and needs. Hope the rest of our experiences during this process go as well.
