I visited this office for months while undergoing fertility treatment & it made such a difference in my mental health & I feel it contributed to the success of my treatment. Dr. Julie is so knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable and confident with her treatment. She really listens to your needs and listens to your concerns to develop the best short term and long term plan. I have referred two friends to her office for other reasons and they also thoroughly enjoyed her treatment and felt a difference. If you’re considering going to her, don’t hesitate. Ive trusted Healthpointe for two or three years now. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Health Pointe Jacksonville Acupuncture & Wellness Center works miracles. I came to Doctor Julie 4 years ago for a torn rotator cuff and she healed me, no surgery needed. Im having some other issues now and would possibly need surgery but Im letting her heal me again. They are amazing!

BEWARE! This place a SCAM + HIGHLY UNETHICAL PRACTICE.They told me on the phone prior to my visit that my vertigo could be treated 1x with success and no side effects ( as I asked about all of that already before my visit ) , ....however when I did experience bad side effects from the treatment, they told me that yes in fact I could have side effects from the acupuncture and I should have more treatments to get well. (?)I asked them how they could tell me one thing prior to appointment ( 1x treatment success and no side effects ) and do a 180 turn after my acupuncture treatment?I let them know they should not state one thing and then change later, that is misleading, as if I knew there was any chance of side effects or need for multiple treatments I would not have taken the appointment. UNETHICAL PRACTICE!!Plus they billed my credit card 2 separate times and amounts and when asked about it was told I would be given a refunded credit, then days later they called back and said no they changed their minds, no credits for 1x customers?Very Bait and Switch activity. I am elderly and felt I was purposely misinformed, taken advantage of in my situation and no real true care or concern for my ultimate health, they just wanted the money$.They even tried to sell me on 2 separate occasions a multi packet visit over $2,000.00 saying this was the only way I was to get better. Why did they not mention that at the start of my call or visit so I could have made an educated decision? ......You know why, so they get you to come in and upsell you. SHAMEFUL !! BUYERS BEWARE!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Julee for a few months now and she’s been so good to me. She’s been the only provider that has been able to get my cycle in sync and my hormones under control. She’s truly the best!

Amazing and life changing (no joke) experience. Dr Miller was able to get my nerve pain under control and I stopped taking 22 pills a day with acupuncture. My MS fatigue has improved and overall I feel better. I also added regular visits for massages and I’ll never go anywhere else. Simply incredible!

We have had the best experience with Health Pointe Jacksonville.. The atmosphere is peaceful and the staff is great! They are very calming, courteous, attentive, and always punctual. Two and a half years ago, I completely lost my taste and smell due to Long Covid. After trying everything to regain my senses with no success. Dr. Miller was able to help me completely regain my taste and smell. You don’t realize how much you take your senses for granted until you lose them. I cried the first time I could taste my food and smelled the Maxwell House coffee as I drove downtown. To be able to taste and smell again has brought me immense joy. And I’m extraordinarily grateful for Dr. Miller’s expertise.

Ive been incredibly pleased with my experience with Dr. Julee and her team! I started seeing Dr. Julee in early January for infertility after trying to conceive for a year and a half and experiencing a heartbreaking miscarriage at 10 weeks the previous fall. She asked me to give her three months (12 weeks) of treatments. Fortunately, thanks to Dr. Julee and her team, we were able to conceive naturally after 3 months - just as she had promised. Im delighted to say that Im currently 18 weeks pregnant and Ive had a happy and healthy pregnancy. Don’t think twice before you book an appointment with Dr.Julee, especially if you have unexplained fertility issues. A year ago I started seeing Dr.Julee. I had recurrent miscarriages, a previous uterine fibroid, endometriosis, hyperthyroidism, hormone imbalances, and chronic inflammation due to autoimmunity. I began her fertility treatment program in November 2022. After 3 months I saw some progress and she recommended that I continue for another round due to my autoimmune condition. Within a month of starting the 2nd round of treatment I started seeing improvements in my hormones, less pain in my body and improved digestion. By 6 months I had very little pain and inflammation, my cycles normalized and she felt I could start trying to conceive. In April, after only 6 months of treatment we conceived on the first cycle that we tried. . I am now 19 weeks pregnant! I continued to do a 3rd round of treatment so that I could maintain the pregnancy and give my body the support it needed.I have no doubt that Dr.Julee’s treatments assisted in my success of becoming (and staying) pregnant. I was told by a fertility doctor that I would require IVF. However, I deeply believe in our body’s innate intelligence to move in the direction of healing and homeostasis, especially with the assistance of traditional medicine. I stayed consistent with her program, took all of the recommended herbs, did castor oil packs to help my liver, continued my yoga practice, and sought ways to alleviate any stress. I didn’t stop believing that it was possible for me to conceive naturally!Dr.Julee and her team are professional, no nonsense, and it is an all woman run organization. From the very first time I stepped into this office everyone was amazing. Dr. Julee listened , advised and got to work solving my issues. I had knee surgery about two years prior and still continued to have pain and limited mobility. After a few weeks of treatment with her, I was feeling and walking without a limp. After we got the initial problem calmed down, she introduced massage therapy into the mix which really helped with motion. Melanie is absolutely great and works with stretching and relaxation all in one. Now I am in step three, Thai yoga with Leona. She is beyond wonderful. Very knowledge, patient and gets you moving when you think you cant. I look forward to all my appointments at this office. It doesnt feel like a doctors office it feels like a spa. For over 40 years I have had chronic back problems, from neck to feet. Name it my back has it. I went to Dr Julee with a left leg - a 9, and my neck and shoulders a 7. Fourteen sessions later my leg is a 5, my neck a 2. I’ve tried everything, surgery (2), braces, stimulator, PT, narcotics, marijuana. 🙁. I have had shots with Pain Management that have often been successful but short term, also they are running out of room to inject them and they hurt a lot more. They may be a forever thing? But Dr Julee has had definite success! She is gentle, caring and has an attitude that makes you feel hopeful and confident. No pain! Weird to look and see several needles but feel absolutely NO pain ( even when the leg was 9!) Both she and Lisa her co-worker make the office so comfortable. I have Osteoarthritis in my bilateral hips and lower back pain. I also have depression and anxiety real bad. My experience with Dr. Julie Miller has been awesome. With my hip injury the only thing that will fix me is surgery. With Dr. Julee, she has prolonged my surgery due to her procedures. The procedures did not fix my hip problem, but it sure did help. If would give Julee waaaay more stars than 5! Absolutely wonderful!For years I had unexplained pain, and when the diagnosis arrived - surgery was recommended as the only 2 options. Option one was to remove an ovary to see if the pain would stop and the other was a full hysterectomy at 35! I went to Julee Miller w/ Health Pointe Jax and had acupuncture sessions as well as took the recommended herbs. A few months later I went for a check-up and there was no sign of the prior condition! The doctor even asked me, who told you that you had fibroids, not only are there none, but there is no evidence of any having been there! Julee (Dr. Miller) has also treated me for migraines and muscle tension with absolutely miraculous results! She always understands whatever symptoms or conditions I have described to her and her treatments have always been highly effective! She also has a wonderful ‘bed-side manner’ and is a lovely practitioner.

My diagnosis was “unexplained infertility.” I had previously been going to a different acupuncturist for fertility and I can tell you that they did not even compare to Dr. Julee! She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Within just a few sessions, I had some significant changes to my cycle (shorter period, less cramps etc). Dr Jullee is a true professional! She is very knowledgeable as when I explained my issue, she was very confident that she could help me.After a month and a half of treatments, my tennis and golfers elbow is 90 percent better. I saw a elbow specialist prior to Dr Jullee who put a plastic cast on my arm that would need to be worn for approximately one year. After 4 1/2 months I decided to try accupucture. I am really glad I did.The staff and masseuses are excellent and the exam rooms are kept very clean.I highly recommend Dr Jullee.

I suffered from lower back pain for years. Chiropractors could not fix me. They made it worse. Then I found Dr. Julee. She has completely cured my lower back pain after just a few short visits. I also threw my knee out at the gym doing squats and couldnt stand the pain. I couldnt move, sit, sleep, etc. it was awful. Dr. Julee and Dr. Jan fixed that pain too! Migraines have been part of my life for many years; they get worse and more frequent with stress and hormone fluctuation. I was having 3 to 4 episodes a week recently, and I decided to try a totally different approach. I did my homework and found Health Pointe Jacksonville, and after only ten sessions, my migraines are gone! I wish I had pursued this a lot earlier and I am immensely grateful to Dr. Julee Miller. Oh, the staff is also amazing and courteous, and the facility is impeccable!! I just wish my insurance would cover the treatments, and I have shared the suggestion to add acupuncture to our benefits. Was not able to hardly walk in and still couldn’t when I left. After about 4-5 hours I was up walking almost as if nothing had been a issue. I also should add I had been immobile for three weeks. I am a 34 year black male, who received a diagnosis of Bells Palsy. I went to the emergency room, because I thought I was having stroke and was prescribed prednisone (Steroid). I have to admit I don’t understand how acupuncture and massage works, but I can attest that it does, at least when done correctly it works and Health Point Jax does it right. The practitioners and staff are over the top good.I have MS, which comes with a good bit of pain and muscle spasms. Through the use of acupuncture and massage Health Point has been able the drastically reduced my pain and muscle spasms. For me they are a godsend.

I have received multiple deep tissue massages in the past, and this was by far the worst. I am fairly new to the area, and I was looking to get a deep tissue massage done. I did a little bit of googling and came across Health Pointe Jacksonville. I saw they had excellent reviews, so I decided to make an appointment. Prices were on the high side, but I figured if theyre as good as their reviews show, itll be money well spent. I was definitely mistaken. If you have ever had a deep tissue, you know that as the masseuse is working the muscle, it is not a comfortable or pleasant experience; to the point where it can nearly bring you to tears. During my deep tissue massage at Health Pointe Jacksonville, I FELL ASLEEP MULTIPLE TIMES!!!! At first, I thought the masseuse was just warming up the muscle before digging into it, but I was wrong. I can massage myself much harder than my deep tissue I received here. On top of that, my time was also cut short.... If youre looking for a real deep tissue massage, I highly recommend going somewhere else.

I am a 43 years old and have been living with chronic pain for about 20 years. Some years back I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and recently osteoarthritis. I have been on several different medications throughout the years without significant relief of my pain. After researching for more natural remedies vs medication, I decided to try acupuncture. I started with a constant pain of about 5 out of 10 due to my sciatica. After having acupuncture around 8 to 10 sessions along with following Dr Julies advice, I no longer have the constant pain. Dr Miller has had a profound impact on my health and well being that I was not able to get with any type of western medicine. After being denied for two surgeries I turned to Dr Miller. Acupuncture has been KEY in the treatment of my son’s anxiety. I’m not a fan of giving my children medication and will always search for alternative treatments. My son’s anxiety surfaced in 2015 right after Hurricane Matthew came through St Johns. At first, we tried therapy, but it didn’t seem to be helping. That’s when I found Dr. Julee Miller and Health Pointe Jacksonville. At his first treatment he was nervous and only did a couple acupuncture needles paired with the infrared light therapy. With each treatment he added more needles and he would be so relaxed that he’d fall asleep. After his 3rd treatment, while walking to the car, he said: “mommy, I feel great!”. That made me so happy to hear because as a fellow anxiety sufferer I knew this was huge for him. He could barely get through a day at school without a breakdown. That makes it tough on a 4th grader since the other kids don’t understand what he’s going through. Acupuncture SAVED my 7 yr old! After going through a battery of medical tests to find out why my sons stomach constantly hurt, we realized he had anxiety. He had deep fears of being bit by something poisonous, which would ultimately lead to him dying. His worries also included traveling, flying, and school shootings. His fears escalated so badly and quickly that he would have panic attacks, and most mornings it was hard getting him out the door to school.As a mom, putting him on medication was LAST RESORT!We unsuccessfully tried talk therapy. We were then introduced to Dr. Julee from a friend that also had a son going through similar anxieties. Dr. Julee introduced and explained acupuncture in a way my 1st grader could understand. She started with light therapy and slowly introduced the needles as he felt comfortable.Results were seen quickly. Panic attacks stopped and my son soon was more calm and less worried. He also sleeps better at night.Two years later, my son still looks forward to going once a month to acupuncture. The room is relaxing and in his words, the room makes me feel calm with the heater. He even gets to listen to his favorite music. He also loves the ear buds Dr. Julee applies, which she taught him how to manipulate when he feels a little worried, as well as ear massage techniques that also calm him.I am a true believer that acupuncture is the sole reason my son has been able to manage his anxiety. Dr. Julee is an amazing acupuncturist! I started seeing her in regards to the depression and anxiety I was suffering from. I have no idea where to begin with what Julee Miller has done for my family. We came to Julee because my husband and I had been trying to conceive for 4 years with no success. We tried all methods including a failed IVF cycle and IUI as well. We came to Health Pointe Jacksonville on a referral because someone said that acupuncture might help. The IVF doctors told me that I had stage 4 endometriosis, PCOS, and that I was in early onset menopause at the ripe old age of 36. I was heartbroken and very depressed. My husband also had low sperm count due to an injury he suffered in Iraq. Our first appointment with Julee she gave us hope, and what I appreciated is that she never sold us a dream but gave us my very real options and told me that she would do everything that she could. I kept every appointment that she set and did exactly what she instructed including diet and exercise for close to 8 months. The IVF doctor said that this was the last time that they would try based on my AMH levels. I have been trying to find relief for many health problems for years. I have tried just about every approach available in western medicine. Nothing was helping and I was frustrated. I was initially hesitant to try acupuncture because it seemed like such a simple thing, too simple to actually make a difference. After just four sessions, my sleep and digestion are better. Dr. Julee took me in as a patient after arriving home from a six month deployment. I searched the city for the best in this field and I was beyond sold with the background that Dr. Julee has under her belt. Upon arriving back home I began my training for the Triple Jump, after two weeks back on the track my body was in terrible condition and the pain I was experiencing was unbearable. I went through similar treatments in college, and Dr. Julee immediately had a plan for me after describing the pain. One month worth of treatments had me in the best rehab shape I have ever experienced in my life. Currently being enlisted in the military, I owe a major part of my stellar performances competing with the best collegiate athletes to Dr. Julee. Went there for TMJ, some sinus and ear issues and received an amazing head, facial and neck massage. Melanie took her time and addressed every spot. I also had rotator cuff surgery in February, so my neck and shoulder were pretty tight. She massaged my neck down to my shoulder blade and I felt like a new person when I left. My husband has a pinched nerve, most likely from an old sports injury, that was manifested in numbness in his left foot. After a neurological workup, it was determined that the pinched nerve was not serious enough for surgery or physical therapy. With the concurrence of his neurologist, he began seeing Dr. Julee Miller. The results were not immediate; but after repeated treatments the numbness significantly subsided. I have a history of chronic back pain stemming from Idiopathic Scoliosis. In 2004 I had major back surgery with titanium rods fused to my spine leaving only my bottom 3 vertebrae for support. Since the surgery I have gone through countless doctors in an attempt to find relief for my chronic pain post surgery. Each doctor would come up with a plan that typically resulted in pain pills, which was not an ideal answer as Im raising two young kids. (and that was only a temporary fix) I was referred to Dr. Julee almost 3 months ago. I wasnt really sure what to expect, and wasnt too hopeful since ive had so many doctors be unsuccessful in finding relief for my pain. After my consultation at Health Pointe I felt optimistic in trying a different approach for pain relief through acupuncture. I began treatments twice a week, and after my first appointment I could already notice a small difference. By week two I was feeling good instead of just okay. A lot of the nerves on my left side were cut during surgery so Ive had numbness on that side of my body since my surgery....by week 3 of acupuncture I started re-gaining feeling in that side, and I was completely shocked. In addition to my back pain being managed, im also sleeping better now because of the acupuncture (and because im not in pain constantly) If you are dealing with pain I urge you to schedule an appointment with Dr. Julee, and see how acupuncture can help you! At each appointment Dr. Julee asks about my pain level and specific areas to focus on. I love that I am being treated for my pain without other awful side effects! I never knew how much acupuncture could do for your body and mind. Being unfamiliar with acupuncture, I had my doubts on how I could receive relief from pregnancy pain. Especially since almost everything is restricted during pregnancy. I suffered from pelvic floor pain. From the VERY first treatment with Dr Julee Miller I got immediate relief. I couldnt use the pregnancy support belt without irritating my sciatica, she used her vast knowledge of understanding body aches & pains And was able to figure out a quick and easy alternative for me. I also received treatment for heartburn, which for any pregnant woman is a huge relief. However assisting me with my breeched baby was the best. After being nervous of complications that come with breeched babies, it was very soothing to be a patient with Dr Miller. She had no doubt she could help because she knew her methods would work just as all my issues I consulted her for were treated and cured. Julee Miller has provided better resolution to health concerns than western medicine alternatives I have used. She has successfully relieved my chronic arm & shoulder tendonitis, lower back pain, neck pain flaring from tension and pressure from bulging disc, allergies & sinusitis and is now helping me with insomnia that has been ongoing for years. Acupuncture and other treatments used at Health Pointe provide me with immediate and extended relief without oral meds that have undesired side effects. Julee provides advice on ways to avoid recurrence of the problem (preventative treatment) while treating the condition at hand. Ive been having problems with my feet and legs to the point, I cannot walk without shoes due to the pain. This is a result of chemotherapy over 6 years ago. A friend recommended that I try acupuncture.I went to Julee 6 months ago and the positive results, the first session, were fanominal. Even though my condition will never return to normal, I can now walk from the bed to the bathroom without having to put on shoes. I have now reached a plateau therefore, we have cut back on the sessions for the purpose of maintaining what I have gained.I recommend Julee for any of your healthcare need especially, if you have been told there is nothing that can be done to help you.

After suffering from migraines caused by degenerative disease in my neck I went to Julee on a recommendation from a friend for relief of my reoccurring migraines, 4 plus per week.I was at the point I would try anything and thought this was my last chance before having to have a more aggressive treatment.After a couple visits the severity of the migraines reduced to the point I no longer was taken pain medication regularly.Thanks to Julee, today the frequency and intensity of my migraines only require me to see Julee every couple weeks and taking pain medicine is a rarity.

I injured my back recently and was experiencing significant pain. After the first treatment I experienced substantial relief. Went from an 8 on pain to a 3. The same decrease in pain from the second treatment and by the 3rd and final treatment there was no pain. All the staff at Health Point are friendly and professional. So glad I went to them.

Normally I would not leave feedback if I had never been to a visit but this was in regards to a simple returned call for an inquiry. The individual I spoke with was in a clear rush to get off the phone with a shoo away vibe. I was asking about pricing which I was instructed was a $49 Consult fee, and cannot provide any additional pricing as I may not be a candidate for what I am seeking. I have never heard of that before! To pay $49 and then be told I am not eligible seems like you are just throwing away your money. So at this point I will not be moving forward after that call.
