I met Dr Amit I. Patel in November 2023. I was quite nervous to meet him with already having built a trusting relationship with my other doctors.I came out of that first appointment with Dr Patel feeling at peace and ready for my hysterectomy.He is extremely kind. He took so much time answering every question that my husband and I had. He educated us on things we needed to know that we didn’t know to ask.During my exam he walked me through everything he was doing and why he was checking on things that he did. Dr Patel was very thorough.When I went back for my preoperative appointment, again he was the same, answered every question. Went back over the surgery, and postoperative with me to make sure I understood and was comfortable. I couldn’t have ask for a better doctor I will be referring him to anyone that is experiencing the same issues I was having.Thank you Dr Amit I. Dr Amit Patel is truly gifted in his speciality.There are a tiny few that have his knowledge and he helped me enormously to elevate a painful and annoying problem that no one was able.I am very , very grateful for this high level of care rare to find in this area of practice .. Dr. Patel is rude and narcissistic, in my opinion. He stops you from speaking by putting his hand up when you are in the middle of answering a question that he asked you. He talks very highly about himself and did not even do a physical exam during my visit. I assume that is because he wants more money for another visit at which time he would do the exam. I felt uncomfortable with the way he seemed to talk down to me. He was critical of the way other doctors do things as if his way is the only way. I definitely have no intentions of going back to this man. He doesnt deserve my hard earned money.

The entire experience, from the moment My mother and I walked in, was excellent . The staff is very friendly and efficient, and Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable and also took the time to address all our questions and concerns. Dr. Patel was very detailed and provided a ton of information for me to make a better decision and most importantly he is very considerate of the situation and your emotions.

I do feel I’m in very good hands with this doctor. He explains everything thoroughly. The only hiccup I had is his office was supposed to send me literature about the procedure to read ahead of time and I did not receive it.

All of his staff, (front desk, assistants, nurses etc,) are so good. They are thoughtful and friendly and all made me feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Patel is excellent. He is calm and reassuring and takes all the time needed to answer questions and address concerns. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Patel is caring, professional and knowledgeable. Concerned primarily with my urogynocoligical issues, his care extends to any health issue that relates to this or my general health and well-being. I am amazed at his expertise, how current he is with medical advances, and how much time he is willing to spend explaining things to me as a patient. He is gifted both surgically and verbally.I am 70 years old and have been seeing Dr. Patel for 3 years. When I first began to see him I soaked a minimum of 5 or 6 maxi pads a day and 2 or 3 at night. I wear no pads at all now, pea 3 or 4 times a day and at the present, once or twice at night. We are working on that. The night peeing seems to have something to do with my CPAP. But to say to I am pleased with Dr. Patel is an exaggerated understatement. He has done miracles for me. I would definitely recommend him for you.

Excellent bedside manner, thorough with the treatment plan. If you have any female issues he is the physician. I highly recommend him.

I waited 4 months to see Dr Patel only to be met with the most incredible rude front desk staff, Tania Martinez. She expects everybody to have a way to print her PDF and bring it complete to the first appointment and scolds you if you dont. If you try to point out that her email does not indicate that, she tries to deflect and say that she called you to remind you of the appointment, as if that is an indication that she expects you to have the paperwork complete. Then of course, the woman interrupts you in the middle of your sentense to repeat herself. Then she expects you to complete the paperwork to see if Dr Patel can still grace you with a visit. I shouldve seen this coming after she also scolded me for sending an email instead of leaving a voicemail to request an appointment after I couldnt reach anyone at the office for days. Needless to say, I could not see Dr Patel becaue of this rude front desk staff that runs that place as if she is the doctor herself. Completely unprofessional.

The recovery took about six weeks and was difficult, but well worth going through. Dr Patel is thorough, knowledgable, and highly skilled. Dr. Patel performed major surgery for me over a year ago. I really like how he sat down with me in his office (I see him do this with all his patients) and goes over details of your surgery with you. Dr. Patel and his staff have been absolutely amazing. After birth of 3 babies each greater than 10lbs Dr . Patel was able to correct issues I thought I would always have to just live with and has been life changing for me . The ladies in the office are so welcoming and very prompt with responses . What should have been 1 surgery, turned into 3 major surgeries and several mini in office surgeries. I went in for a pelvic organ prolapse. A sling was put in and I was told this would help aid in things prolapsing again. I had 2 years of issues with it. Part of the sling kept poking through the surface causing me and my husband pain. I went in to the office several times to have it cut back. My 2nd surgery was to remove scarred tissue from the surgery that was raised and causing pain. Finally, my 3rd surgery was to have the sling removed. I have not had any issues since then. (October) On top of all the money I had to pay to Dr. Patel, the hospital and the anesthesia, I had 2 years of pain and 2-3 months for each surgery that my husband and I could not have intercourse. Dr Patel told me that for the 3rd surgery I would not have any out of pocket for his service or for the anesthesiologist. (Because he had an agreement with the anesthesiologists). We confirmed this 3 times with him, the last being right before going in for surgery. However, I still received a bill from the anesthesiologists for near $1000. I contacted his office several times about this (as well as Champion Anesthia, who said they would look in to it and get back to me) and not until 4 months later when I saw Dr Patel for my follow up, did he say that that was only for out of network insurance. And, the next week I got a call saying they had sent my account to collections. (without getting back to me). So, I took care of that right away to try to keep my credit in good standing. (Thanks for the follow through with responding back to people from both professional medical businesses) Also, the front office personnel that he has had over the past year is unprofessional in their mannerisms and they messed up my appointments and billing. And, the rolling of the eyes from the young front lady is completely unacceptable.

Dr Patel’s staff is patient and empathetic, as is Dr. Patel. He doesnt act as if he has 10 other things he needs to be doing. He gives his full attention to you and answers every question to my satisfaction.

At 1st I thought this was a good office.Yea the front office staff member (Nyla) is the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever met. But, I forgave that.After having surgery and having multiple compilations not only that I was reaching out to this doctor and he kept dismissing me. from my hysterectomy which lead me to emergency twice and after that he told me I was fine the 1st ER trip after he didnt have privileges at the hospital breauce I wanted a 2nd opinion. After this trip he DISAGREED with all the other doctors there telling me that they tell every patient that a UTI is a Kidney infection.After my 2nd trip to the ER they discovered that things were not getting better but worst.... so now i was transferred to a hospital he had privileges at breauce NO SURGRONS want to touch SOMEONES MESS!!!!!Had emergency surgery and now stents in my kidney almost a 3 weeks later from a complication from original surgery and I was telling the office and they were dismissing me!!When I was telling them I did not feel good, this Doctor gave me 4 different medication and told me to rotate them!!!!! When I was in stage 1 kidney Failure because he was dismissing me and all the pain I was in and told me this was NORMAL!!!!!!I would never recommend this office to one of my family members or friends EVER!!I’m 32 years old, now how to be see-urologistFor the REST OF MY LIFE!!!!!!! from a injury during surgery that was not treated my UROLOGIST TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS A FAILURE ON HIS END AND IF HE WAS CALLED I WOULD NEVER HAVE THIS INJURY and NOW THE MOUNTAIN of Medical BILLS FROM THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!! or HE failed to call the correct doctor to fix. Very rude staff at location 1600 Coit Rd in Plano. My understanding the doctor is great, but due to staff I ended up not seeing the doctor after waiting in the lobby. Receptionist made me feel like a criminal because I did not read her email.She then tried to charge me an office visit of over $100 while Im getting confirmation from my insurance on speaker that copay should not be more than $50. Staff refuses to see me until getting clarification from billing. Unreal, I lost all my morning and ended up going to a different doctor.

8 am appointment. No one was there. I called and was told they were stuck in traffic. Then after taking my vitals etc. Waited and waited until gal came back in saying dr had car trouble and had to Uber to the office w no eta. After a tele conference w dr Patel, he said he would have his office call me the next day for follow up appt. I still haven’t heard from them.

I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Patel. In addition to Dr. Patel being an expert in his field, hes also very informative, patient and kind. His bedside manor is excellent, from the first visit to each follow up visit Dr. Patel remains informative and engaged. His staff is very helpful and professional. Can any body tell how much is the surgery for the Uterus removal,cuz am not receiving any information from any body who works over the clinic,minutes later i receive a call,and they threat me,that if I dont remove this comment the Dr,say go look for another Dr,but they still not answer my question about the surgery price,and he thinks he is the only one in DFW area that can do that,very unprofessional people,dont go over there,they dont answer the phone very bad for business
