I had an exceptional experience at ORM and cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. The entire staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism while also being incredibly personable, which made me feel valued and supported throughout my journey.A special shout-out goes to Giselle Lopez, who was my care coordinator. Giselle truly went above and beyond in every aspect of her role. Her dedication and genuine care made a significant difference in my experience. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also remarkably empathetic, taking the time to explain every detail and answer all my questions with patience and clarity. Giselle’s proactive approach and constant follow-ups ensured that I was never left in the dark, and her encouragement and positive attitude were a constant source of comfort. Her attention to detail and ability to handle even the most challenging situations with grace made her stand out. Giselle’s personal touch and unwavering support made a potentially stressful process much more manageable and hopeful. Thanks to the remarkable support and expertise of ORM and Giselle, I am overjoyed to share that I am now pregnant and on the path to fulfilling my dream of becoming a parent. Their unwavering commitment and care played a crucial role in making this dream a reality, and I am deeply grateful for their help in this life-changing journey. If youre looking for a fertility clinic where youll be treated with respect and kindness while receiving expert care, look no further than ORM. They made a challenging process feel much more manageable and optimistic, thanks in large part to Giselle Lopez’s exceptional care.

ORM has been an amazing experience. We transferred our embryos from a different clinic (OHSU closed their fertility department). From the first contact, ORM was wonderful- we immediately felt welcome and taken care of. IVF is such a difficult journey, and ORM is absolutely the best place to go.We HIGHLY recommend ORM. Any doctor you choose at ORM will be fantastic. The coordinators are also so kind-hearted, helpful, knowledgeable and available. We have graduated, finally pregnant! But we will, of course, return to ORM in the future as we continue to build our family.

Working with Dr Barbieri was a great fit for us and the staff, nurses, front office really everyone involved was top notch. My husband and I have been working with ORM since late 2023 and just graduated from ORM this week. It has been an incredibly amazing experience working with ORM. Our coordinator Rachel, Dr.Hesla, Sophia (PA), Martha (PA) and all nurses made this whole process as easy as possible for us! Our coordinator Rachel and covering nurses have aways responded to our questions right away. All instructions were clear to us and they made sure that we understood every step of the process. I had a lot of visits to ORM but Sophia, Martha, and nurses are all very sweet and made me feel comfortable in every visit. We are incredibly grateful for the cares and services provided by ORM. I recommend this clinic to anyone for IVF.

The team at ORM is excellent and super professional. Dr. Hesla and Ileana (our coordinator) made us feel we are in good hands, always there to answer all of our questions and concerns, communicated timely and our journey was super smooth. We worked with them regarding our surrogacy and as a couple based in France we had to do lot of things online. We never felt handicapped that we are in a different country. Particularly at the very beginning they accommodate us to find a quick appointment during our short visit in Portland over the Christmas holidays, so we won’t have to do an extra trip to US.To be fair in our case we had a local egg donor and surrogate, and we didn’t have any major complications. Everything run smoothly and now our surrogate is almost 3 months pregnant. One thing I can say they are very kind and sensitive to the topic of their work, so that stood out a lot for me. Yes we were lucky we didn’t have major complications but also I always felt that we are in great hands. That took lot of the anxiety in this process.Thank you ORM

I could not have had a better experience during such a stressful time of my life. ORM has everything planned out so well that it made everything so easy for me. You have you doctor for your treatment plans, navigator to guide you through each step, and a financial person to help you with insurance and billing. My labs were done at the clinic and my results were given to me the same day so there was never a delay in treatment. The only delays were from my menstrual cycle not lining up with scheduling but it didn’t bother me because the quality of care I received was worth waiting for.Dr. Kurtz was easy to talk to and made me feel like I had someone that genuinely cared for me and wanted only what was best for me. She went over all of our options, the benefits and cons so I could make the best decisions for myself with her professional guidance. At ORM I had the best navigator Bethany who helped me through every step of my treatment. She was so quick to respond to my questions or concerns. She would text me on all of my important dates at the clinic and it felt so much more personal with all the support she gave me. She is hands down the number one reason I think my time here was amazing.ORM is amazing and I’ll always recommend their services.

My wife and I were recommended to ORM by friends who also went here. We were treated with professionalism and kindness, always. During my first blood draw I experienced a panic attack. The lab staff reacted swiftly. There was an ice pack on my neck and a fan on my face before I even knew what was happening. This building is VERY warm, especially if you are like myself and dont handle heat very well, it makes me physically ill. I felt comfortable and informed every step of the process by the navigator team. They were reassuring when I was worried and I always felt validated in how I was feeling. The ultrasounds were smooth and fast and the team always made sure my questions were answered and that I had a clear understanding of what they were doing. This clinic has helped my family grow, I am now 9 weeks pregnant and it was all possible because of the help from ORM.

I’ve been going to ORM since 2020. Dr Barbieri has overseen my treatment and has been amazing…she’s knowledgeable, and always listens to all my questions. I’ve felt very confident with her as my doctor. The other team members, the NPs, assistants, other doctors, have also all been amazing. And shout out to my navigator Giselle…she has been a huge support and resource through the process. I am so thankful for the ORM team. ORM drops the ball when it comes to outside referrals. My provider sent in a referral form several times to get some work done, but ORM fails to follow up with referrals (During my most recent call, they stated that do NOT follow up at all and patients have to contact them. This is not clearly stated on the referral form). When asked about the referrals sent in by my PCP, they had either discarded them or claimed they never received them due to vague fax issues (This excuse was used on two different calls a couple months apart).Due to their unenthusiastic tone, unwillingness to provide care for outpatients, and seemingly consistent failures with their software, please look elsewhere for your fertility needs.

While IVF isnt something that anyone wants to walk through, going to a clinic like ORM made the whole experience less painful. Every single person we interacted with at ORM was kind, thoughtful, timely in their communication and compassionate towards our situation. I dont even live in the state but flew there for all my appointments just because ORM was so great. Audrey, one of the patient navigators, is absolutely second-to-none. She was consistently patient, knowledgeable, and kind in her communication. There are a LOT of questions and concerns that come up when navigating something like fertility, and I couldnt have asked for a better person to walk us through the process. Ive been a patient at a lot of medical clinics over the years, and ORM is hands down the best experience Ive had, anywhere.

Please do not try to become a surrogate with ORM, I have been in the process with intended parents since January and the only reason it took this long was this clinic.First they made me stop breastfeeding to even consider working with me, then they took weeks to even review my profile. Months in I started my first cycle and on the first time something didn’t go the way they wanted, they cancelled the cycle. They literally convinced the intended parents to cancel it.Dr. Hesla has not even once communicated anything with me. Second cycle started with no medication and they expected it to go perfectly, once again on the first thing that didn’t go how they wanted, they not only convinced the parents to cancel the cycle but also waste thousands of dollars and drop me as their surrogate. I have never heard of parents giving up without even attempting an embryo stransfer.Every time I’ve spoken with them they were rude and made me feel as if I was doing something wrong , I can’t even imagine what women and men that struggle with infertility goes through at this clinic. If you’re thinking of becoming a surrogate do not work with this clinic, they will just say you’re not eligible to be a surrogate even though you did all the exams and are fine! If I could rate 0 stars I would.

I looked at a couple different places when we ran into fertility issues, but ended up going here bc it was much less of a wait and we loved Dr. Barbieri when we met her. The entire team works seamlessly together, it’s easy to ask questions and everyone is enjoyable to work with for blood work, ultrasounds, nurses, surgeons and care coordinator. We had a wonderful experience with ORM. Prior to moving forward with them as our clinic we had been to 3 others in the area as well as 2 in a totally different city and the difference in care was shockingly significant. Having direct access to a nurse/care coordinator via call and text was essential and I only have positive things to say about Julie and others I interacted with. My primary doctor was Dr. Hesla who listens, is incredibly compassionate, and knows his stuff and you also have the added benefit of seeing other providers based on how your treatment, procedures, and/or appointments are scheduled. While some people do not like this “healthcare by committee” approach I prefer it in order to assess differences of opinion that inevitably exist within a specialty that is so dynamic. The IVF process worked for us and we had a successful first embryo transfer in Oct 2023 and I am currently 37 weeks pregnant as of June 2024 with our first baby, after years of miscarriages and unexplained infertility ORM was instrumental in getting us to where we are and we will be FOREVER grateful to them and their team. Even reading through the negative reviews (which every family has their story and their feelings are truly not mine to judge) many of these people HAVE their babies… the IVF journey is undoubtedly grueling but children are the goal here and we wouldn’t be starting our family in the coming weeks without ORM. ❤️

My one year old is napping right now, and that is the only reason ORM gets anything above the 1 star. At the end of the day, I got my precious baby, and for that I am grateful, but getting here took a lot more self-advocacy than should have been necessary. There are also factors that I think skew their success rates.Firstly, their lab is out of network with all insurance. I was not told this when I made the first appointment, and so by the time the 4 month wait had passed, I had to proceed with ORM because other clinics had similar wait times and I could not afford to wait another 4 months for the first appointment. And, because the lab is OON, you only end up with patients who can afford that, which likely means their patients are also able to invest in things like high quality supplements, healthy diet, and general healthcare, which would improve their success. As others have mentioned, the communication is terrible, with long wait times to hear back on questions regarding medications, which youll likely have, since instruction documents uploaded to the portal are frequently missing, missing information, or have incorrect information. With these medications, timing and administration (which needle to draw up, which to inject with, etc etc), clear and correct instructions are critical. The billing is leaning criminal/criminally incompetent. Firstly, at the end of the whole process, you get a refund of whatever is remaining from your deposit - IF YOU REQUEST IT. If 6 months passes and you didnt know you had to request it, you just...dont get it back. When I made the request, I finally got a few hundred dollars back, but then a month later, I got another bill for another hundred or so! I called them and requested a full accounting, and after I reviewed every single transaction, it turned out that not only did I not owe them anything, they OWED ME another $200+ back. I also spent SO MUCH time on the phone with my insurance, trying to figure out what had gone wrong; an example is that after we received our PGT results, we had an appointment with the Dr to discuss the next steps, but initially it wasnt covered, because it was coded as genetic counseling which was not covered by my insurance. I asked why it was coded this way, and was told well, she discussed your genetic testing results (meaning that the embryo was normal, but that was a pre-requisite to that appointment - clearly absurd). Finally, since we only had one good embryo, I read up on anything possible to increase the likelihood of successful implantation, and came across ASRM (American Society of Reproductive Medicine)s review of the literature for best practices. Literally one of the only things that has been shown in studies again and again to have no effect or be detrimental is bed rest after transfer, and ORM has a policy of 48 hours bed rest, with 45 minutes immediately after the transfer. One study even showed 10 minutes of bed rest after transfer to be negatively impactful on success rates - never mind that you have a full-to-busting bladder during that period and they dont even want you to get up to pee. When I requested an appointment with a Dr to understand what their reasoning was for the bed rest recommendation, I was just told that thats the way theyve always done it, and their success rates are higher than the national average (remember there may be a financial/resources factor here), so they didnt want to change anything. I confirmed - there was no *medical or scientific* recommendation for it? No, theres not. I was also told then that I seemed like the type who wants to control everything, and I had to just go with the flow for this process (wow...) When I got up after the transfer, it was this huge to do, with them begging me to at least use the elevator (I did - its not like exercise increases your success, just that immediate bed rest decreases it). When my husband and I got to our car, we said, welcome to the family baby! We believe in science. And always question authority :-)CHECK YOUR BILLS!

I don’t even know where to begin on this review. After years of trying to conceive we finally decided to reach out for help & the moment we met Dr. Bankowski we knew he was our doctor. We have never felt so comfortable or so cared about by a doctor. Once our journey started, we were introduced to our Navigator; Hadley. This girl is an angel and became my #1 go to person and my #1 hype girl. Together, they make the perfect duo, an unstoppable team. Our first appointment was on February 14, 2024. Dr. B decided it would be best to try starting with the IUI procedure instead of going straight into IVF. Trusting him, we agreed. The IUI was scheduled for April 25, 2024. May 5th, 2024 we got a Positive Pregnancy test. May 29th, 2024 we got confirmation we are having TWINS! I don’t know who was more excited Dr. B and Hadley or my husband and I. All I can say in the infertility/IVF journey is hard, it’s personal and it’s scary. Having a doctor who KNOWS, UNDERSTANDS AND RELATES to you is key and the most important. I’ve been under Dr Barbieri’s care for just about a year and am so grateful for her positive energy and practical outlook on care she brings to an already challenging journey. The systems they offer & coordinating care however are a mess, much to do with the clinic being brought into a new network. I feel for how grueling the process was, the face to face time with my assigned doctor was non existent (Bankowski), and while the navigators are great (along with the support staff and nurses), “unexplained fertility” isn’t a good enough reason for me to spend thousands of dollars (if I could go into detail, I would, but I do believe there are more questions that could have been answered with our “diagnosis”). I have asked many times for certain testing to be performed, due to concerns I have, and it seems self advocacy is not acceptable in this space. It’s truly a bummer. I don’t think there’s any one person to blame, but ORM as a whole should reevaluate how they approach patient care.

I’ve been a patient at ORM since 2020. In my experience, ORM is not for women with demanding careers. ORM does not have systems or processes in place to adequately support you.Below is a list of the specific shortcomings I’ve personally experienced:* While the doctors, coordinators and staff are knowledgeable and talented- the processes and operations are poorly designed and executed.* Many appointments are set last minute, and with absolutely no flexibility (day before or day of)* Calendars and advice constantly need to be confirmed (there are common mistakes that could derail an entire cycle).* The resources they send have links that don’t work.* They fail to send important prescriptions in on time.* The software they offer to detail your treatment is messy and hard to find resources in (especially if you require multiple rounds of treatment).* Other doctors offices and pharmacies tell you that they’re incredibly challenging to work with to get records (they often just don’t respond).* Reaching someone by phone feels nearly impossible at times.* They provide outdated resources at times that conflict with instructions provided for medication and after care instructions* they really don’t do much of anything to support women emotionally and mentally through the processORM should understand that Infertility is devastating to their patients and should do better to ensure they’re not adding to the stress and hopelessness that many patients already feel.

Many times they changed instructions at the last minute, prescribed me the wrong medications, weren’t available for questions, and billed me incorrectly. Please do not use ORM. If you only read the first few sentences, I just beg of you for your mental health, go anywhere but here. Look at the 1 star reviews of the people who have really gone through it. We got pregnant, and I still would NEVER recommend or send anyone I know here. Because of what we went through, we’ve been recommended by our doctors to report them to the Medical Board and will be taking our own legal action. They also claim that they are the leading LGBTQ+ facility. But that is a JOKE. As a lesbian couple who did reciprocal IVF, my wife was asked about our ‘husband’s sperm’ during our IUI process multiple times. And we were put on a treatment plan as if we were infertile (not just queer), which has caused health issues post egg retrieval.I spoke to a customer experience manager (who shortly quit after we spoke) a few months back, and she admitted they were bought out by a large corporation (or hedge fund?) and it is clear they care only about PROFITS and NOT Patients.Below is a list of what we experienced:* Operations (scheduling, billing, etc.) are in complete disarray. And you can’t get ahold of anyone by phone to rectify their frequent and consistent mistakes.* We worked with Dr. Barbieri and if you were lucky enough to actually get her at an appointment (usually it’s someone lower then a Dr.), she would be halfway out the door once you were done with an IUI cycle while you were trying to ask questions. We’d be so flustered half the time that we were completely inconveniencing her, that we’d forget our questions. They have too many patients, not enough time. You are a number.* You have to confirm ALL calendars and medical advice. During the Egg retrieval and transfer, they sent medication doses in portal messages that DIDN’T MATCH the calendar doses. You’d be stressed trying to get ahold of them to confirm what dose you actually were supposed to give yourself. (Since you do all your shots at home.) If you had a busy work day and didn’t know until after work hours that the doses were conflicting, you’d have to guess or risk screwing up the entire retrieval. That is Medical NEGLIGENCE. I’ve seen this noted on multiple 1 star reviews. So this is a DAILY occurrence.* The resources they send don’t have working links half the time or have outdated information, that you follow up and they say ‘ignore.’ OR in our case, we had some medical issues post retrieval and they sent us documents with notes of actions to take PRE retrieval. That we were never given. Their processes are a nightmare.* If you are doing IVF. They will OVERCHARGE you for services you didn’t receive and will not refund you. It’s their new policy that they charge extra ‘just in case’ you need more. If you need less, they won’t reimburse you. It’s UNETHICAL.* Post health issues – we both did fertility testing so we had a base level going into IUI and IVF. I had extremely high AMH levels in regards to fertility, yet I was put on doses that tripled my estrogen almost immediately, and put me straight into hyperstimulation category. Dr. Bankowski told me I would be triggering early due to this at one of my early appointments. Yet when I came into trigger, Dr. Barbieri upped my dose for two more days, and I was 3 times the recommended estrogen level at triggering. Causing an extreme embryo count, that prompted their nurse to say to us in the room “we never let it go this far.” I was sick for two weeks following, had an allergic reaction to meds they prescribed, for which they told me through text that they ‘couldn’t help’ and to ‘find a specialist.’ I landed myself in urgent care on a 10 day steroid. ORM NEVER followed up with me. I am now having issues with fibroids and needing surgery. After reaching back out to ORM and speaking to their new customer experience rep, they have decided to do nothing about this.Go to OHSU even tho there is a waitlist. That’s honestly a GOOD sign. Because they take patients in slowly so they can treat them like patients. Not like numbers to burn and churn for money. You were warned.

Im going to avoid going into detail about our experience here cause whenever I do, my blood starts to boil. Luckily my family had a great experience at Vanderbilt after we fled from ORM. I met Dr. Hesla and his team at an IVF seminar organized by ORM, from that moment, I told myself that ORM team is the one that I wanted to work with for my surrogacy journey. Dr. Hesla is highly reputable, professional and experienced. He was very dedicated on every step of the process, giving me lots of useful medical advice and information. I felt very confident working with him on this very significant part of my life.Rita was the key contact during the surrogacy journey. She is extremely responsible and responsive. She was also able to walk extra mile to provide me useful information and referral out of the service coverage of ORM. I am very thankful to have her supporting me during the journey. The hardware and equipment of ORM are of first-class quality too. I would recommend ORM team with no doubt. My lovely baby boy is with me now. I would like to take this chance to express my heartfelt gratitude to ORM team here!!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for over 7 months! Most of the time people only write reviews out of anger and I am writing this out of gratefulness and thanks! And every time I start I end up just crying because they touched my heart so dearly! IVF and reproductive medicine is not for the weak of heart. Do not go into it expecting miracles and be sure to do research on your own. Yes they do perform miracles at this office, but sometimes there is heart ache. Know that going into this process. Our fertility journey lasted a lot longer than we had ever hoped, we did our first egg retrieval in July of 2022 and got 8 embryos - but on day 5 they all stopped growing. We were heart broken and devastated. But Dr. Kurtz and our navigator Jordan were the wind in our sails and picked us both back up when we were so down, they were so emphatic and encouraged us to try again! We did and we ended up with 4 beautiful embryos to send off for genetic testing.Three out of the four came back perfect and with that we moved onto doing our transfer! Our first transfer was unsuccessful, and again we were devastated! I didn’t know if my heart could stand another loss in such a short time! But again our amazing team (Dr. Kurtz and Jordan) gave us encouraging words and we felt so cared for by them that we jumped back on the horse and tried again! I am happy and proud to say that I am 30 weeks pregnant thanks for ORM! Something I prayed would be possible but never knew for sure! ORM made us parents and we are eternally grateful to them and their team and can’t wait to meet our little guy in January 2024!! And (hopefully) our other little guy in 2026/2027! We love and have so much respect for Dr. Kurtz and Jordan … more than words can ever explain! I hope this review gives someone else hope that they may not know they need. Know that I am always praying for all the people who struggle with infertility and if you are know that you’re in my prayers!

All of staff, my doctor (Dr. Kurtz) as well as our coordinator, Audrey, have been absolutely incredible. Truly cant say enough about their amazing care. Dr. Kurtz has been the quickest doctor Ive ever worked with to respond to inquiries and questions. My coordinator has been a phenomenal sounding board, messenger and support. When encountering challenges and last minute changes in our protocol, Dr. Kurtz as well as Audrey have both been tentative, flexible and wonderful with ideas and open to hearing mine. There have been days Ive been back and forth with Audrey constantly through text and phone calls and not once have I ever felt ignored, or, delayed on hearing back. The care has been individualized and updated as needed, sometimes with moments notice! Although we dont have our bundle of joy yet, I have faith with the care here that were on the right path and that we will continue to receive the best care possible. Will recommend them 100x!

Weve been working with ORM for two years and most of our experiences have been beyond disappointing. I wish some of the reviews that I see posted now, since we started with ORM were up back before we took the plunge with them for IVF, as I would have gone someplace else. Now I cannot afford to start over and am two years older so would have less viable eggs if I started over elsewhere.I cant count the number of times I was treated as a number and not as a human being going through what has been the most stressful and anxious time in my life. You would think that being in the fertility business, they would have more genuine compassion and care for the people they are helping. Instead, I have constantly felt like they were helping themselves. Some people are great, like Dr Hesla (If you DO go with ORM, choose him as your provider). But there are people like Amy the stenographer, who will do things like PURPOSEFULLY turn the viewing monitor away from you while doing an ultrasound so that you cant see what shes doing. Its your body, so its your right! In the end if you choose to work with ORM, be prepared to spend 25-30k on the IVF cycle and 5k on each embryo transfer with another 1k per year for embryo storage. Anywhere they can charge you for something, they will, and they will use sneaky ways to justify it that all work in their favor, not yours. If you meet with one of their doctors to talk about fertility options, you will probably be told IVF is your only option and will feel pressured into doing it, without really understanding or investigating whats ultimately wrong with you/your partner/your embryos. There are plenty of great nurses and lab techs at ORM, but they change constantly. I went through three nurses in one embryo transfer cycle due to turnover (not counting the sub nurses on days she was off). This turnover says a lot about the culture at ORM.ORM management, please do not reply to this review with a bs response that you want me to call you directly for feedback. I have done this on many occasions and have yet to see any changes.

We decided to seek out a second opinion outside of Canada and we are so thankful we found ORM. We liked Dr. Barbieri from the moment we met her and appreciated her relatable, honest advice on what would give us our best chance at conceiving. We listened to her and now I am weeks away from giving birth to our daughter! The staff was lovely here as I feel they take the time and care about their patients. We will come back here again if we decide to grow our family.

We switched to ORM after some issues at a different clinic. We used the same IVF protocol but the results were much, much better. I have to assume the embryologists at ORM are just rock stars. ORM also assigns one person to be your point of contact, via text, which was very convenient for most issues. All the staff we encountered were supportive and helpful. I will say that fertility treatments (and billing) can be incredibly complex with a huge learning curve. Ask lots of questions. Maybe find someone to help you with the process, like a friend who has already been through it. I can also recommend fertility acupuncture, which is described on ORMs site under integrative medicine. Acupuncture is not available in the clinic, but I had a very good experience with one of the listed practictioners.

I did 3 egg retrievals, 2 transfers, 2 biopsies without success and even had 1 egg not survive thaw. Switched to an out of state clinic (CCRM) and had better results than the first 3 at ORM combined, even being 2 years older and had my miracle baby. Sadly, I do not think their embryology department is good and that’s why I didn’t have success at ORM. While at my out of state clinic, I returned for outside monitoring of ultrasound and labs. They made many mistakes like sending the wrong endometrial lining report and one time not sending it at all and when I politely asked for a discount due to their errors, I was banned for outside monitoring. I couldn’t believe the way I was treated. I loved my nurses but have to say I would not recommend ORM to anyone as a patient or for outside monitoring. Between the errors, treatment, banning, and most importantly the fact that it wasn’t successful, ORM is not worth it. My hope isn’t to bad mouth them, but rather to help someone else by sharing my experience.I do not wish to receive a generic response saying to contact you in regards to this. It’s over and done.

Terrible. My wife was an egg donor and from the beginning, the staff was rude. During almost every appointment, there was someone that was rude and off-putting. Granted, there were also a few people that were very helpful and we were thankful for them. While we had a few things we were frustrated about, the greatest offense was on the day after her egg retrieval. She had a follow up appointment with the doctor and a nurse. While they were pleasant, Taylor was given permission to travel home with everything seemingly good to go. Two hours later we were in the airport about to board our flight and ORM calls saying they forgot to do a blood draw on my wife. I notified them we are about to board our flight and they said they’ll work it out at our destination. Then we receive an email from Emily Cartwright that my wife left without getting her blood drawn, saying it was a mistake on my wife’s part, as if they hadn’t given her permission to go home and never mentioned a blood draw in the hours that we had spent at their office over the past 2 days. Emily said if my wife doesn’t have her blood drawn they would be unable to use the donated eggs. This institution makes a flurry of mistakes (see other reviews about lost labs) and lacks the ability to take any responsibility. She had previously done a donation at RMA of Florida and that clinic was miles ahead of this establishment.

We decided to make the switch to ORM from NW fertility to do our IVF cycle and I am so glad we did! We began our time with orm in February 2022, had our egg retrieval in April 2022, and our transfer in June 2022. And in July 2022 we were pleased to know that our first transfer worked and I am currently 10 weeks pregnant with twins. We loved our experience with ORM, the only complaint we have is the lack of communication occasionally. And sometimes it is very hard to get on the phone with someone.

We made an appointment with ORM after being referred from friends and hearing from multiple professionals that ORM is a well respected clinic in the Portland area for fertility support. We have decided to not proceed with ORM. After our initial consultation, we were told we would receive documentation/communication weeks ago and heard nothing. It’s disappointing to be told one thing- then wait weeks, unsure of what is going on during a process that is already so unpredictable. A “support team” is supposed to make things feel more comfortable- and our process with ORM has made things more difficult. We are currently interviewing other fertility groups in hopes there will be a setting in which we can find timely, thoughtful, and honest support. We are beyond disappointed in the lack of transparency and empty promises we received at ORM. We had high hopes for ORM after hearing from our good friends, who referred us, that they have had a great experience. I am saddened that ours was so opposite. It’s disheartening. We leave our experience with ORM feeling confused, more hopeless than before, and like we were treated as just another number in line to tap money out of for ORM. They notified us during the consultation that they required us to go through testing that had already been done at other facilities again- feels like a way to take advantage of people to make more money- taxing people’s hope to build a family. My recommendations for ORM moving forward: do what you say you are going to do- if you make promises to a patient, follow through, consider working with your staff (doctors included) to increase perspective taking of how patients coming to you are feeling- lead with empathy and seeking to understand, queer folks and folks struggling with fertility issues are often feeling hopeless, tapped out, financially challenged, and fearful- build a business model that considers this and puts your patients first- instead of milking your patients for every cent they’re worth and ignoring their emotional needs in the process.

All in all, sure, I got pregnant which was the goal. But the service is awful. Scheduling is a nightmare. They switch dates on you last second, the appointments are rushed and you don’t even have time to think through your questions. They seem to think I can just drop everything for an appointment immidiatley. I am working and I’m not made of money. For example, I was supposed to have my last appointment with them before I transfer elsewhere because of all these issues, and it’s for my 6 week ultrasound. Literally 1 day before the appointment, they suddenly text me and say they are rescheduling without my consent and say it’s “too early” and they’ve booked me for three days later, also without my permission.I am saying absolutely not, I can’t get days off without notice like this and neither can my husband. Not to mention we’ve been looking forward to this so much and the date was fine up until 1 day before- and was booked by them weeks ago. I text back all of this, and they haven’t replied yet. I will be going up there tomorrow whether they like it or not. They can’t treat people like this.

They explained everything in immense detail. The staff and everyone I came in contact with was absolutely wonderful. The facility itself is clean. If you are looking for a fertility spot or a place to donate- I would steer clear of ORM, moms to be, I cant imagine going through this place, its laughable and extremely unprofessional. The front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming and transparent, however, this doesnt extend to the rest of the staff. I was left on birth control for almost five weeks because the communication from my coordinator was so poor, I told her frequently how the symptoms of the BC were affecting my daily life, and it somehow did not alert her to tell me if I completed a wellness exam, I could stop taking it.Speaking of the wellness exam, I had no idea what was needed from me, so when I showed up and said Ill do the full exam with all of the testing- I found out all they needed was my BMI after I paid for the additional testing. The third party clinic did not even take off my platform shoes to measure my height, imagine if I knew they only needed my BMI maybe I could have directed the clinic to be a bit more accurate. After the results were sent to ORM, someone I had never spoken to (not the coordinator I was supposedly entrusted to) called to tell me my BMI was too high so I was not eligible to participate. After months of me fishing for documents to send them, after months of them asking for specific counts (which is not ethical) for payment, and after being left on birth control for five weeks when the longest Ive ever been on birth control with the other clinic Ive worked with was 14 days, and after weeks of being exasperated by my coordinator for being unclear; a person Ive never spoken with calls me to tell me none of this is moving forward and that Im basically too fat to participate (which Ive successfully done this through another clinic three times). Also I gained 16 lbs on the birth control and I basically stopped exercising on the BC because it was affecting my body so poorly, wonder if that increased my BMI to the one percent over the limit. This place is horrible! and Ive read through the comments and my heart goes out to any moms to be that have suffered through this place. I actually have started transporting back to the lovely clinic Ive worked for in the past, and they treat me like a whole human. Its such a nice transition.

Finally ready to share my experience. I would NOT recommend Dr. Barbieri to anyone.I was told by her I do not have PCOS. I do. I meet all 3 criteria.I was told by her that diet would do nothing when I asked if trying keto would be beneficial. Keep reading for how that went.I told them upfront I had ZERO interest in IVF, yet it was continously pushed. When we lost our first pregnancy, Dr. Barbieris only comment was at least we know you can get pregnant.I had to PUSH for a 4th IUI. I was told IVF made more sense. I said no.That 4th IUI is our sweet oldest little one.I disliked Dr. Barbieri so much that I made the decision to never go back. A great decision. I do want to add that Dr. Fisher and many of the nurses were absolutely wonderful.I did keto for 5 weeks during a chaotic time in our lives and even with nearly no time to try to conceive, got pregnant with our second child. We now have 3 lovely children. I did keto again after a couple years, and though we were actually trying to prevent pregnancy, I got pregnant again. My cycles come back and my hormones regulate.I am thankful for our oldest, and I do thank the rest of the staff profusely that we have her in our lives. Dr. Barbieri had nothing to do with that IUI, it was a nurse practitioner (shannon?) the nurses, and Dr. Fisher I want to thank most of all. Not to mention that she highly discouraged another IUI and if I had listened to her we wouldnt have had our successful outcome.Dr. Barbieri is cold and seems uninterested. She is under-educated and close-minded. She seems only interested in IVF and getting more recognition for their IVF program.

The myriad of mistakes made is almost laughable. I noticed several billing errors (being overcharged, being charged for labs not done) and the easy refund process is not easy. I advised the front office staff I shouldnt be getting a lab draw and they insisted the dr said it needed to be done and refused to render services until I paid them for it. I hesitantly asked what the refund process was like and they assured me it was easy, so I paid.... after verifying with the dr they should not have charged me for the lab draw because I wouldnt be getting one done I went back to the front desk and was told the refund would take 3-5 weeks. I called 6 weeks later and was told they outsource their chargeback department so they will submit it to be reviewed. And I would receive a call back soon. I called back two weeks later because I still hadnt received a callback and was told they would need to review it. As a separate matter, they sent a text saying if I respond Im waiving my right to HIPAA. I intentionally did not respond. Received a text with my medical information from my navigator. I called and stated I was not comfortable with them texting me and they continued to do so. Their internal communication is awful. So many examples of that. While the dr.s seem knowledgeable and efficient, I would not recommend this facility.

Poor communication: our fertility coordinator never called to check-in, help us with timelines, or help us schedule necessary procedures where the timing is critical. That all may be on us about the expectations of care for a process that we are new to, but we thought our care coordinator was going to help us through the process and we were essentially on our own. Also, we were charged multiple times for procedures which never occurred. Lots of issues trying to figure out which procedures we had done and which we hadnt and when, in large part to the fact that the itemized bills didnt arrive until 5-6 months after the fact. It was so convoluted it made us question everything and at a moment when we really needed them to help us through a very stressful process it pushed back us even trying for children by a year. All that said, when we did go to the office, the staff were very friendly and competent and made us feel comfortable.

Absolutely the worst. Cant follow through on any schedule they ever tell you. Cant do any steps in parallel even when you clearly arent going to make that schedule if they dont. Cant do even basic follow up in care coordination (did the hospital get our fax? Is the doctor actually making the meds schedule?) even when you nag them. They dont even answer their phones! It all has to go back and forth through their electronic systems so you can waste more time. I wish I could blame it on some individual, but we went through IVF, donor, and surrogacy, and it was all systematically awful.

We were very unhappy with our experience with ORM, the whole thing left a bad taste in our mouths. First off our doctor was 30 mins late to our first telehealth appointment and only talked to us for 20 minutes. Next we felt like we had zero control of our treatment, they have a playbook and they treat everyone in exactly the same manner. It was clear they were only interested in our money, and not our health or hippieness. They were ready to start throwing fertility treatments at us without identifying the cause of the problem. We encountered a Nurse Practitioner who performed an ultrasound, she was very rude and disrespectful, and that was the last straw. After speaking to a different fertility doctor and seeing a surgical specialist, its very likely we would have seen zero results for any of the very expensive treatments they recommended. Im glad we got away from them and only paid $700+ dollars for rude service and a waste of our time.

Before I start on the reason of this rating, I would like to say that the actual doctors/nurses/staff have been very wonderful towards my wife and myself. With that said, I want to make sure all future patients/clients are aware of the financial department and the financial handcuffs of this company. Prior to starting any sort of treatments/services I inquired about a payment plan. What they told me on multiple occasions was this exact quote, You pay what you can when you can. Not long after a few bills piled up I started getting threatening letters from them requesting the balance due to be paid off. I called them again about it as I did not like the threatening letters, and they told me the same thing. The letters is just a system notification, but just keep paying what you can, when you can. As long as we see money coming in, we will not pursue anything else. I was glad to hear that because I keep sending in monthly and over time. Well, what they did not tell me at the beginning was that if you do not pay a certain balance after a period of time they will threatening to send your balance to a collection agency. Unfortunately this just happened to me a few days ago, so I had to put down $2100 on a credit card, and I assume I will have to do the same with the remaining amount soon. For those that do not know, being processed through a collection agency means your credit score take a hit. I just want people to be aware that this will be them if they do not pay what they want when they want. At least inquire what that time period is before proceeding and assure you can pay down fairly quickly. Just a warning to future patients as having to go through a clinic like ORM is already difficult for both the future mom and dad, and to add these financial threats on top of it all, is cruel. I was going to proceed with an IVF, but I will be looking for other clinics to do that. Good luck to you all.

My wife and I highly recommend Dr. Adams at Oregon Reproductive Medicine. She is exceptionally approachable, kind, and encouraging in addition to being an expert in the field of reproductive endocrinology. Our first time at ORM I remember working mostly with the nursing staff, which was okay, but not as comforting as our experience this time working primarily with Dr. Adams. As a clinician, Dr. Adams is engaged in every part of the process of helping her patients to become parents. I really appreciated how accessible she was. I was able to really let my guard down because of this effort she put into relationship-building and I believe it was critical to our success! We love Dr. Adams and you will too!

I, personally, only have good things to say about my experience at ORM. Infertility is so extremely stressful but they were with me and my husband every step of the way. We worked with Dr. Bankowski who is personal and professional. He was always willing to listen to my concerns and tell me why he was choosing a particular protocol and test or whatever. He was SUCH a good technician too when it came to the procedures.I also had a wonderful rapport with his support staff. Hes coordinator, Katie, ALWAYS answered all my questions (and I had many) and added her own experience in there as well. I never had to wait more than a few hours for a call or email back from either Katie or the nurse Taylor. I really loved working with both of them and, oddly, miss them now.The embryologists and genetic counselors were also very helpful. In particular Serena Talcott Baughman talked with my quite extensively on the phone and via email to answer all of my concerns after we got our CCS testing back from our two retrievals. Speaking of the CCS testing, Im so thankful we did that. All of our embryos looked wonderful but the CCS testing meant we were able to transfer one that was healthy and had the best chance of becoming a viable pregnancy. Thank goodness for science!I was also quite impressed with Dr. Adams who did one of my retrievals. That one in particularly was very easy to recover from and she was kind and efficient. The phlebotomists Kera and Mindy were always great too! I can have difficult veins and they always managed to get in there without much fuss. They both always had such a good attitude as well! Getting labs was never stressful. In total it was a long road but the choices ORM helped us make ultimately lead to a positive pregnancy test and (knock on wood) hopefully a live birth at the end of our pregnancy. I thought everyone I met there was helpful and friendly and professional. They could improve the financial transparency a bit as you go through the process BUT they were spot on from the beginning about the over-all costs which is (in my opinion) what counts. There were no surprises on how much we paid in the end.I will forever be thankful for ORM, all of their doctors, office staff, nurses, coordinators, embryologists, genetic counselors and acupuncturists (particularly Lisa Pate who I worked with through all of my IVF procedures). And I hope all those infertile couples out there find the right fit for their journey, wherever that may be!

I’ve been with ORM since 2013 and would recommend them to anybody looking to build their family through IVF. From top to bottom I had nothing but the best experience despite the ups and downs of battling infertility. Whether it was a billing or scheduling issue, needing to get in for last minute labs, or just needing someone to talk to when I was struggling, my team at ORM was there for me. Ultimately, it was a true team effort and I valued that approach at ORM. Feeling like the power of an entire team of doctors, nurses, assistants, embryologists, and staff behind you...gives you the courage to keep moving forward even when you doubt yourself. Thank you to Dr. Bankowski, Dr. Adams, RN Katie, RN Taylor, RN Judy and Kera for always taking such good care of me!

Worst medical facility I have ever been a patient at. you cant call and speak to anyone, their billing office is never available. last 5 times I have called during business hours I get an answering service. online portal isnt user friendly. I had labs done, and despite telling the provider that I did not need certain labs, and already had them done and Id provide those results to them. they did them anyways sending me an astronomical bill and refused to take off charges due to their error. I tried to pay my bill and their billing website is broken, but I get bombed with invoices on a weekly basis. this has been the most frustrating experience , If I can not trust you with simple administrative tasks as well as clear and timely communication. how could i trust you with coordination and navigation of my infertility? this place is a joke, go to OHSU. I called again today, and just now got another answering service personnel telling me to call another day during business hours, the clinic is closed.

The care and personal touch extended has been a unique, exciting experience - Im not even an IVF patient, Im a donor. Its sad that there arent many options for fertility clinics in the Willamette Valley! This place looked professional and promising and gave an initial friendly we care vibe, but definitely didnt end that way. My wife and I went the IUI route because I didnt have a fertility problem and immediately we felt as though we became less of priority by selecting a less expensive option. This company has a very one size fits all approach, and unfortunately that didnt work for me. I tried to advocate for myself and ask questions, but if you ever want to speak to the doctor at all for any reason to you have to make an appointment and pay a huge hourly price. Otherwise you only get to speak to the nursing staff who are kind but cant answer all of your questions. In the end we did 5 unsuccessful IUI attempts and gave up. About a year later we tried ICI at home and I was pregnant with our daughter 3 months later. The key here is that not everyone is the same... I told this clinic I needed to listen to my body and they rolled their eyes at me. But when I took the correct approach on my own it worked out wonderfully. ORM wants your money more than anything else.

ORM is wonderful. To add clarity to some of the donor reviews - Donors receive the caregiving needed while cycling at ORM.An IVF pregnancy versus an IVF donation carries a large difference: the medical staff arent aloof, they are helping IVF donors with standard, process oriented care (blood draw, sampling, etc). Many of these processes are straightforward and simple. This is very different than initiating surrogacy or the processes of pregnancy, which involve a different level of focus and time, a much more energy intensive process. Regardless, everyone I have observed at ORM is treated like a person and a patient. Its easy to see how the agency excels.Very nice space.

I didn’t want to waste another second or emotions on this place, but since I am still waking in the middle of the night with anxiety attacks about my experience here I am hoping this will bring me closure as well as hopefully saving someone else from going through the same thing. I will keep this short and to the point with as much emotions left out as possible since I could go on and on. I went to ORM with a history of early miscarriages and a previous ectopic. Dr Barbieri was who we chose for our care. After several tests she was not sure why we had previous miscarriages but we moved forward with IVF regardless. We spent around 20k just at ORM for our one round, this did not include labs and some other tests as well as meds that we had to have in Bend, OR. I was able to get lots of eggs but unfortunately I only ended up with two embryos. I begged for more tests before our transfer date in fear I would lose both of my girl embryos since they still were not sure why I had previous miscarriages. They assured me there was nothing else we could do and that we should move forward with the transfer. I received a call from our coordinator (Stephanie) stating that we were not pregnant and that we lost both embryos at transfer. She was not very nice about it and when I asked if I could talk to a doctor they said that Dr Barbieri was out of town and the other doctors on staff did not have time. I was devistated! We returned to Dr Barbieris for a follow up consult, which they really messed up, but I won’t get into that. Dr Barbieri started to discuss possible sperm/egg donors and explained to us that we could do some of her “voodoo” in the second round, but might not work still. Still no answers... After lots of research I asked the embryology department if the 7 of my embryos that arrested did so after the assisted hatching on day 3 and they said yes, but called to tell me that their process is the best. I thought maybe I would try another doctor at ORM but their response was you can’t just go around and pick which doctor you like best, although I was paying for each consult cash it was not covered by my insurance. But I digress... I went to Seattle and met Dr Shahine and she wanted to switch some meds around, but other than that pretty much the same thing as the first round. I went to LA and met with Dr. Ashim Kumar and finally he figured out what several of my doctors could not find out for years and so many pregnancy losses. He suggested a pelvic MRI and an endometrial biopsy (EMB) The MRI came back perfect but the EMB came back positive for plasma cells. I had endometritis (not the same as endometriosis) We moved forward with him and ended up getting 7 embryos since his embryology team does not even touch the embryos till day 5/6. I did a few weeks of antibiotics and did another EMB and there was no plasma cells so he let uterine lining recover from the EMB and started the transfer injections and the first embryo we transferred stuck and I have a healthy happy 3 month old in front of me because of it. I owe Dr. Kumar my life. We also could have done two rounds with him for what I paid for one round at ORM but he nailed the first round, and you get Dr Kumar the entire time and his staff is very nice to work with unlike ORMs staff (lab techs were nice). I just can’t believe a group can be so ignorant to the advances in their own field. The doctors have to send a report to CDC and I think it is called a SART report (society for assisted reproductive technology) SART.org, and that is why I chose to have a consult with Dr Kumar to begin with since when we looked into their report cards at the time he had the best numbers in the nation. These reports may guide you in choosing a place to do your round of IVF even if it means going 13 hours away from home it may be worth it. I think if you chose ORM or choose to go with ORM I really hope the best as I know how hard this is for everyone to go through and I just hope your experience won’t be like mine so I share a little of my story.

Absolutely horrendous experience here. After being outsourced for a test via Legacy since they dont do the lab tests there any more, I had to try ORM. Not only was the process painfully slow to get paperwork uploaded (I couldnt fax the info myself or provide by phone), they made my PCP go through the process twice because they left out minor contact information.Secondly, my PCP couldnt even really determine much from what the test showed, nor could I because the information was so vague and unhelpful without any explanation for what was on the results (normal range vs. mine), I likely will just have to get another test and be out more time and money because their specialists are booked out until mid July. All I wanted was information of the vague test results. Its ridiculous. On top of it all, they are absolutely pitiful at calling back and their call hours are not what they say. Tried calling on 3 separate days, only to be hung up on once and calls never returned the others.Hope the review gets to some folks because this is the definition of awful customer service.

They were professional and conscious of our emotions. They treated us like humans. And most importantly, they solved our problems. Their testing showed the root cause of our infertility, and they referred me to a surgeon to remedy.I would give them more stars if I could.

My experience with this company maybe unique but still worth sharing. Im an immigrant myself so they immediately assigned a Chinese speaker as my coordinator. But the lady is neither responsible for my questions nor is she helping on any level.Firstly, after initial consultation with Dr. Hesler, I was very impressed. However, after I only sent this Chinese speaking coordinator two questions about the financing and she just ghosted me. This immediately raised a redflag at the cost estimation stage.Secondly, guess what, after ghosting me for three weeks, she suddenly dropped two emails asking if I had finished any pre-cycle testing?? I felt very surprised. Because she never sent me any testing forms, nor did she notified me anything. I later found the form sitting in my port myself with many confusions just looking at this long form. This lady just do the minimum coordination work which she was supposed to help much better as they stated. In addition, what kind of company would assume I already work on the process while Im ghosted at the very early stage? This kind of service experience is very unpleasant.Although I didnt choose them mostly due to cost, but even if I chose them, I would request to change my coordinator. I would give 1 star if it werent for Dr. Heslers good talk at the consultation. And whats so funny is, the only times this lady contacted me, she spelt my name wrong, in TWO different ways! And this is so called the Chinese speaker coordinator. This at least reflects how careless they are about you if not to the ignorant and disrespectful level.

Dr. Barbieri and her staff were very difficult to work with. For example, I had a scheduled appointment (which took weeks to get) and then after waiting for 24 minutes, was told Dr. Barbieri is actually unavailable for our appointment. I never had a consistent patient coordinator and would end up speaking to random people, having to go over the details every time. Also, good luck trying to get through to someone. Instead you will be told that someone will call you back and are expected to drop what you are doing when you finally receive a return phone call, as there is no direct line to return calls. When using their answering service, I was placed on hold for half an hour and heard the staff discussing other patients and their medical needs, as well as a conversation about Jesus and the second testament of the bible. Another time, while getting a blood draw, the technician forgot to put a piece of the equipment on and my blood came out of the tube and was dripping down my arm, on my clothes, on the floor and on my bag. I had to go home and change before returning to work, which took even more time out of my day. I could go on with other examples, but Oregon Reproductive has already wasted so much of my time and the message is clear. This place is reminiscent of a used car lot. They are happy to waste your time and take your money, selling you a dream. Once they have your cash, they could care less about your experience with them. I had several people warn me of this, but I moved forward with working with them. I wish I had not and instead gone to OHSU. Beware.

As an egg donor at ORM I finally wanted to write a real review on my experience and for anyone considering using an egg donor or becoming one. I haven’t donated in a few months so I wanted to write this with clarity and not pumped full of hormones. This company probably tells the intended parents how well their donors are treated but it’s lies.I feel unvalued and unappreciated by everyone at ORM and potential parents. I understand years of pain of trying to conceive and then instead of adopting or fostering children, some families want their own birth and genetic choosing.I don’t think anyone at ORM cares one bit about the egg donors who are making this process happen or the mental and physical pain they cause. Sure the money is nice but how about a little thank you or appreciation to the donors? ORM gives you a small gift card when you sign up, but when it’s the holidays or after a donation they treat you like they took your eggs and shove you out the door like a walk of shame. The doctors are extremely rude to the donors and uncaring with zero bedside manner. They try to pretend this is easy and not a big deal and treat it as if this is nothing at all...they don’t honor or celebrate how big of a step this is in your own life to be able to do. Do you not think donors think of their babies out there or want to be appreciated for being able to go through this process with someone? No matter your income or your background, you have to miss school, work, time and energy, schedule your life around your appointments and injections and medications and the surgery day that is never quite definitive. Tell that to your employer and college tuition and schedule. Or if you have a family of your own. Or the days missed from discomfort, pain, nauseous feelings, extremely hard to drive with 10cm ovaries on the last few days of your appointments. I understand as a donor it’s your choice to do this but I’m asking for sensitivity on this. A gas card. Maybe lunch here or there. Or checking in to see how you are feeling even. If you are late at all they call email and harass you. Nikki is extremely rude and uncaring. She’s very nice when she wants the donors in to collect on their data base to run their entire business, but when you are in the process, no one cares. No one tells you how you can develop cysts and health issues for the rest of your life like me.Injections and medications make you feel depressed, bloated, in pain, sick, uncomfortable feeling like any sudden movement you could rupture your ovary and have permanent damage. You feel happy at first you are giving your genetics your life to create life, you wonder about the family and who will raise this child who has half of your personality and looks exactly like you. You wonder and you wish that someone at ORM or the potential parent of this child could reach out and say thank you. They treat you like it isn’t a big deal. I feel like articles on the internet don’t do it justice. But just think about these facts. Do you think the 8000.00 usd first time donors get and the maximum 10000 dollars donors gets takes away the feelings, pain, discomfort, possible job loss, stress, worry, relationship issues or anything else? All I’m asking as a donor is that you care. We aren’t animals!! Offer support groups. Offer therapy for free. Offer a way to support your egg donor community better. Plan holiday parties or appreciation get togethers. Maybe a thank you card at the end. Maybe a thank you for making this entire operation possible and staying healthy and doing everything you can to inject yourself, take medications, try to ensure you don’t get OHSS which I got even thought they claim it won’t happen and it’s extremely scary and painful and the 3 Vicodin at the end of the surgery that barely covers the amount of pain you endure, or the uncontrollable sobbing your relationships have to deal with. Its depressing on the hormones and injections and it takes an entire month for them to drain out of your system after the retrieval. It’s embarrassing living like this for two months.

If youre going to work at a medical clinic, you should know how insurance works. Hire a new person for the front and who handles insurance information and payment. Disgusted. Also, minimal confirmation and communication in regards to lab tests. Plan on informing my OB/GYN about the issues and I discourage any referrals to this place. Ive been on a emotional roller coaster since Tuesday because of Oregon Reproductive Medicine, probably one of the WORST roller coasters Ive been on through our entire infertility journey. We went in this last Tuesday to get a blood pregnancy test to confirm if we could possibly pregnant or not. I was called by a associate called Jessica from ORM & she saidwell we received your results & your levels arent at 0.00 but at a low 3.675.So your pregnant. After 7 YEARS of infertility Ive finally heard those 2 words every woman wants to hear. BUT it was short lived by her adding that the levels SHOULD be around 17 to 20m So your only KINDA pregnant.I stood their confused. What do you mean kind of pregnant?? She said they consider anything over a 2.50m a positive pregnancy but probably will turn to a negative the next time we test you.we would like you back in on Thursday 12/1/2016 to take another test to see if your levels doubled or if it dropped.) If it doubles or rises you are for sure pregnant. If it goes down unfortunately that means your not pregnant.I shook my head in shock & asked you just told me Im pregnant but actually not?She said because your not at 0.0 (which would mean Im not pregnant) but above 2.50m they consider me pregnant. I told her thank you & hung up so distraught,& emotional my happy moment Ive been begging, praying, dreaming of has come and gone & has been RUINED by ORM.The last 2 days to vie had to wait for the next blood test to confirm again has been horrible and emotional. My husband and I went in again today and spent more money to take another blood test. Also while I was there I requested for someone to call me so I can discuss my issues im having with ORM so far.I was given a call around 9:30am and the lady was nice and said we can discuss your results and if you want to reschedule a different time to talk about the issues your having with ORM I completely understand & I said, well it depends on my results. She said well Elizabeth Im sorry to tell you, your levels dropped to a 1.37m & that means your not pregnant.I told her how DARE you guys tell me Im pregnant when im not. What kind of policies is this.I told your her you guys are ORM, your on the radio, news, all over the internet, a state, even country known for reproductive medicine and have had hundreds of positive stories and this is how Im treated?Your associate tells me the news Ive wanted to hear for almost 7 years this December and now but Im actually not?I told her do you even understand my story and that we have been trying this long and what this has put me through? she remained calm the whole call and understanding. She did say 3 different things, I could of been pregnant, the egg implanted, then detached. Then it was and chemical pregnancy from all my medicines raised my levels and made them think I was pregnant. Then I could of not been pregnant at all.I said your associate had the audacity to tell me I was pregnant when you werent even sure yourselfSo I spend over $172.00 the past 2 visits for them to tell me Im pregnant but no Im not. She also added this is a hard to tell our clients news like this and very sorry. And I said HARD FOR YOU. Im the one going through the shots, pills, mood swings, depression, weight gain, cravings, stress at work and home, and so on and its hard for you? This all could of been prevented if you didnt tell me I was pregnant when I actually wasnt. I also asked her why you tell people your pregnant at such a low level when I told her i dont mean to question her schooling, job or position but I I checked Google, & a positive pregnancy shouldnt be considered a positive test until over 5.0m so why did they consider a number at 3.675 a positive. She said their job is the find out early with procedures & their goal is to find out as soon as possible. I told her you should not be telling woman they are pregnant when they are not until you are 100% sure.

ORM traumatized me They treated us inhumanityI wish I hadn’t chosen ORMIt was a nightmare everything that happenedDr Adams left Oct 2020 I had received email and letter for she will resign but I hadn’t received anything about my treatments since June 2020 I’ve decided contact again in 2021 They kept telling me that was Dr Adams’s fault They put the blame on someone resigned They were irresponsible and immatureMy husband and I wish we could go different clinic because We live 185miles away from Portland No specialists in our town We have no choice but clinic don’t care about our situation at all My husband had already done semen analysis test but they made him again on 10/4 We visited clinic in August twice Why they didn’t suggest him at that time? Why they didn’t tell him to go outside lab near our town?It takes 6hours drive every time we visit clinicI’m waiting for start my IVF cycle my treatment is delayed 2months by Dr Hurliman’s wrong direction Billing team lady pushed me for pay prepayment by10/19 She told us it doesn’t matter when my IVF cycle will start I have to pay by due day that clinic decided I tried to pay over the phone but My bank card has limit per day and can’t change it so I visited the clinic to hand in cashier’s check then I’ve received bill in 3days I could pay by installments online!!How unkindnesses she wasMy husband and I had work both 11/8 and 9 but the coordinator tried to convince us to visit for mid cycle scan She told me 7th is too early 10th is too late I really didn’t think so after all we went to see Dr on10th it was no problem at all I realized she is just a messenger without any knowledgeMost important is my first IVF I follow Dr Hurliman’s instructions but it doesn’t go well anything just waste of time money and injections We can’t trust her I’m really scaredI visited clinic on 4/4 2022 I picked up my medication in Portland on 4/5 I didn’t need to drive 370miles for 6hours next day if they send new era pharmacy prescriptions a few hours early They did it againThe lady named Whitney from clinic called my husband after I posted this review in December 2021 According to him She didn’t understand my behavior(She sounds like I did wrong thing)I guess She wanted me to talk to her instead of posting this but It’s helpful for present patients future patients and their people It’s meaningless to hear “I’m sorry to hear that”from her She doesn’t feel anything for patients I would like to ask her Who dose she think she is I feel better after talk to you? That’s the reason why I think ORM NEVER LEARN NEVER IMPROVE They don’t know how awful They are They made patients disappointed so many times but They don’t take seriously at all I wish They would leave from infertility industriesThey demanded and threatened us prepay the deferred treatment that We didn’t take because We will change the clinic I haven’t received my refund yet for a month The billing team is really bad reputation as well I can’t wait for receiving my refund without any mistakes

Since I’ve started here, it’s been nothing but great. I went with dr John Helsa and he’s so sweet and to the point. The only reason I didn’t have them 5 stars because 9/10 time I call them I’m waiting over 45 mins minimum. Granted you can leave a voicemail, but that’s the only down fall so far. I did just start going here, so maybe I’ll leave an update review once I’m done going here.

Wouldn’t recommend orm to anyone! Had a very horrible experience here! Seemed like no one cares! Very cold feeling. Felt like just a number. Left with a really bad feeling on the whole deal. One of the worst experience I have ever been through. Good luck if you head to ORM.

I feel that the staff here is very friendly and concerned. Ive read that not all practices give as much attention to egg donors as they do the intended parents, but I didnt feel that way at all. I had an overall positive experience.

We had a great experience working with Dr. Barbieri and the entire staff. Appointments were always punctual, phone calls and questions always answered, and in general a pleasure. Thanks ORM.

Be careful when dealing with this company as they are not truthful. I went through my screening to be a donor and inputed my medical history (which is nothing out of the ordinary) and they said to be specific as possible and it would not alter my eligibility. Shortly after submitting me they sent me a email just stating they can not proceed with the screening process at this time. Just very deceiving and conniving.

I can’t begin to describe the nightmare I have had trying to schedule an appointment. My god. It’s the most ridiculous experience of my life. No exaggeration.Edit: Reading these reviews is enlightening. This place is a joke.

Make a consult here, don’t waste your time going anywhere else! Everyone is professional, sympathetic and so positive. Everytime I had a concern it was addressed promptly. Dr. Barbieri was so great, she always gave us all of our options and explained things well.
