Today I had my DOT medical examination at AFC Urgent Care, and I am pleased to share my positive experience.From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, which helped ease my nerves. The facility was clean and well-organized, creating a comfortable environment for patients.The medical examiner was incredibly professional and knowledgeable about the DOT requirements. They took the time to explain each part of the examination process, which made me feel more at ease. I appreciated their thoroughness and willingness to answer all my questions, ensuring I understood everything clearly.The examination itself was conducted with care and respect. I felt that my health and well-being were prioritized throughout the process. I also appreciated the promptness in receiving my results, as it allowed me to move forward with my job requirements without delay.Overall, my experience at AFC Urgent Care exceeded my expectations. Our visit was amazing from the time we walked in till the time we left. All thanks to the staff Ingnod, Sarah and Ana they were very catering and helpful and the nurse practitioner Katrina was super thorough with the diagnosis and explained all the necessary precautions/tests/medicine needed to be treated

The staff were nice and welcoming. The physician assistant, Sarah Reber I believe, was exceptionally kind, attentive, patient and appears to have an overall great personality. I felt and appreciated her genuine care and concern.

I had a great experience visiting this clinic for my first time. My first impression was the cleanliness and neatness of the facility . Check in was very simple and the wait time was very minimal. The patient care from front desk and medical personnel exceeded my expectations! Everyone was very professional, nice snd helpful. 10/10 recommend!

The girls at the front, my nurses assistant AND the nurse were all angels. I went in without much time and nervous about what I was going in for and they were all so sweet and helpful. I was in and out in less than an hour with treatment and I’m so grateful!

My daughter needed a physical to play sports in school. Called around 6pm and staff said to make an appointment to which I made one for 7:45pm (they close at 8). Went there at about 7:30 and was greeted with nothing but courtesy. From front desk, to nurse and the NP Katrina were all amazing. I know they were getting ready to close but I was never rushed and they treated my daughter really well. To top it off they only charged $35 for a physical vs my daughter’s pediatrician at $90. I will consider AFC in the future for minor medical needs. Ya’ll are amazing!!

I have gone to this urgent care in our neighborhood a few times- for myself and for my toddler. Sometimes they do have longer wait times (expected because its urgent care and it depends on volume and what practitioners have to deal with), but they are all courteous and very good with care. A couple months ago, I went in myself for an infected wasp sting. The practitioner was excellent at retrieving the stinger (was not visible to the eye) and prescribed antibiotics for my skin infection to heal. I recently went in with a respiratory illness to get tested because Im pregnant and already high risk. They tested for Flu, Covid, and took a PCR with the results back 1.5 days later- which put me immediately on antibiotics for a mycoplasma pneumonia. I also had my husband bring in my daughter for a PCR to make sure she was fine (she is 2). Very professional and nice to have in our neighborhood. Very easy to call and I make appointments online ahead of time.

Been going to AFC Urgent care now for a couple of years for minor emergencies. The staff is always so nice and caring. Never had to wait an unreasonably amount of time and they’ve always been able to resolve my issues. They even follow up to check on you and make sure you’re okay. I definitely recommend AFC Urgent Care-Aliana.

Highly recommend. Nurse practitioner Katrina was amazing. She took her time and looked at my little one thoroughly to make sure she covered all bases. Amazing experience only thing was the wait time was a little high although there wasn’t many patients. Other than that service was excellent and this will be my go to place.

Took my father for emergency and had a very good experience.The nurse and medical doctor was very professional . When we needed to go to ER, they even refunded me for the care provided there .Further review from recent experience. Perfect set upIngrid( Nurse) and Katrina ( doctor) were really good. Ingrid went up and above her duties to make it comfortable for me and took really good care. Katrina was perfect as always with her diagnosis. I love it that she doesnt oversell and provides just the right care

I sliced my finger pretty good today and went into AFC Urgent Care Richmond Aliana and was taken care of almost immediately. I have used this location before and every single time the staff is patient, friendly and make you feel so comfortable. If I had my way Id come here for everything. Dr Sarah has such a wonderful at ease Manor that you cant help but be comfortable. I trust the staff here implicitly and you should too.

The best urgent care Ive ever taken my kids to! (Taken them to about 10 different ones). They took me at the time I scheduled my apt, they figured out the issue with my son, fixed it right away, and sent in prescription to the pharmacy right away. I left very satified. Theyre all so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!

My visit was amazing from the time I walked in til the time I left. The staff was great and my doctor was amazing. She ran the necessary test until she found out what was going on with me. Her name was Dr. Sarah.

We are new patients and had a positive experience. The staff was friendly, and the front desk was very helpful. Nurse Ingrid was efficient, and Menissy, the Nurse Practitioner, was friendly, knowledgeable, and assertive in treating my son.

I have been here twice for same thing- fist on 09/7/24 which was okay but I feel there was not enough done to help my kid. 2nd time on 09/10/24 I decided to take her back and I am glad I did because the Provider Sarah knocked out of the park. She examined my child, diagnosed and sent her antibiotics among other things. I am happy to say my kid is feeling a little better today. On track to 100% recovery.Thank you Provider Sarah! We will be back because of you!

My visit to AFC (American Family Care) was a very nice experience. Easy check-in scanning the QR code. Service was very prompt. The nurse and x-ray technician focused on me and my pain issues. Doctor Katina Menissy was great! She diagnosed my pain issues and gave me a steroid injection and pain meds. The pain in my hip relaxed with in 10-15 min.All I could do is say thank you , thank you, thank you for being there when I needed AFC.

I came in for a possible UTI my Dr. was very personable and friendly. She gave me all the info I needed and was proactive on making sure we stay ahead of the infection. I am very pleased and would absolutely return if I needed care.

The care I received was phenomenal. The PA was on point and I wish she could be my pcp. She has an excellent bedside manner and I couldn’t have felt anymore comfortable. She was able to address everything I had going on right there without me hardly mentioning other things that were bothering me. With everything going on in the world this is the type of care we all need. Thank you again.

From filling out my new patient forms online, to only waiting 5 minutes. This establishment was so clean and friendly. I took a drug test and the whole process took just as long as the wait. In and Out.I urge all future companies and people to use these guys as your aid/partner.

Each time we go to this facility, we have a great experience! Weve gone for school physicals & the occassional sick kid. Weve always received great care. Recently, the power went out when we got there & they still serviced us with a great attitude! Thank you, Nurse Katrina & staff!

I’ve had to visit this urgent care a couple of times and they’ve been great each time. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and timely. I always make an appointment ahead of time so my wait is minimal. This last time I came in for an allergic rxn and they took me back right away. They were extremely thorough in questions and examination. I’m already feeling better. I will not be visiting often but when I have to, it will be this urgent care that I go to.

Great experience!! My three-year-old daughter usually howls at her pediatrician’s office, but the doctor at AFC Urgent Care was so calm, patient, and friendly, my daughter didn’t even cry when the doctor looked in her ears. This is a first! I will probably end up coming here more often than her normal doctor’s office!

I recently visited AFC about a week and a half ago due to a pretty bad injury to my leg. Upon arrival, I met Annie up front who was very responsive to my needs and got me in the back almost immediately! There, I met the nursing staff, Julia and Annie who were very attentive to me and got me to see Katrina who was very thorough in her assessment and got me the treatment I needed to heal up nicely! I highly recommend this place not just because of the wonderful staff but the thoroughness and convenience of the location and its professionalism.

I went yesterday for a test required by a new employer, and I have to say it was a smooth process. Staff was great, the place was very clean. Overall I recommend this place.

Fast, efficient and reliable service. They nurse and doctors are professionals and allow sufficient time to look at the patients. The checking process and paper work is also smooth that can be completed in phone .

The team of providers from the front desk staff to the medical team were friendly, helpful and kind. Despite dealing with longer wait times, which they apologized for and provided constant updates on, they never rushed me or made me feel like I wasnt getting their full attention. I would definitely recommend them to any one in the community.

Today my husband came in with a fractured hand, and Katrina got x-rays completed quickly and made him feel welcomed with her positive vibes and smiles. He always uses AFC Richmond and her customer service and care showed me the reasons why. The MA was awesome as well. 10/10 we recommend.

The 2 front desk workers were treating me very horrible. Im telling them one thing for my visit and start questioning me like I was a liar and a criminal. I had to ask if they were racists. Then one of them went to the back talking to the physician assistant about questioning me for my health. And the head front desk lady was like so are you going cancel your visit. I was the only person in the place. I will report them to my health insurance agent too. It was no way I could have trust them with my painful health care. Awful and unbelievable health service. Words cant say enough. This all happened today and now I am at another urgent care in a lot of pain. I wish they had a 0 to choose for their behavior

Came here after a few days of not feeling well. I did not have an appointment and came first thing on a Saturday morning. There was no issues with seeing someone and I didnt have to wait but 10/15 mins, if that. Front desk was nice, facility was clean and the drs who seen me were very pleasant. Would recommend to family and friends.

My daughter has been experiencing some health issues and I have gone to a couple of other urgent cares in the past and felt so brushed off. I didn’t want to go back to one, but my daughter was not doing well. Sarah, Annie, and Makenna were so thorough and actually cared about figuring out what was wrong and making her feel better. She is doing SO much better about 12 hours later, and I am so thankful.

Thanks for being so nice, everything was clean and orderly. The nurse practioner, the assistant nurses, everyone did a great job. They told me my xrays would be ready in 10 minutes and they were. If I ever have to go back to an urgent care, this is the place I will go.

This Urgent Care is the best. Its very easy to book an appointment with their app. They are very punctual. Their care and service is top notch. They always follow up. They really take care of you. We’re so grateful to have this place in our neighborhood. Thank you guys, very good job

We were able to make an appointment online right away. The wait was minimal. The front desk, nurse and PA were all patient and personable. The fee for a physical was given upfront so no surprises.

I showed up close to closing which I get is annoying but I was turned away because they stated that they had already taken their last patient back. I used to work for AFC Urgent and know that they are not supposed to turn anyone that comes in before closing time. What’s even crazier was that there was no one in the lobby and not many cars outside. I went do to a sore throat. Honestly, they could have looked at my throat and started my test prior to vitals and by the time my vitals were done had the test results. It could have taken less than 10 minutes but they didn’t want to do it. This isn’t the first time this location has turned me away either. I tried this location back during Covid they tried to turn me away and then tried to charge me a higher rate. I didn’t tell them at that time that I was working for a different AFC instead just took my mom to my location the very next day. I’ll claim some fault for going in near closing but honestly if they are in the game to help people then they should do that. If they just want to make a dollar then find a private doctor where it’s all about appointments and you don’t have to worry about last minute walk-ins. I probably won’t give this location another try as it’s clear they don’t care about my business.

Courteous service with care. Everyone did everything they were supposed to do.I am feeling better today but totally not recovered. Still have chills and body ache. Theraflu didn’t work out for me. I had shortness of breath 15 minutes taking it. Frequency of cough has increased.When do you expect to receive the test results mucus samples that I brought.Please ask the doctor if I can do something to ease suffering.Thank you.

FABULOUS urgent care!! Did not wait long at all, front desk lady (sorry I did not get your name) super nice! Matter of fact everyone was super nice, from my nurse Julia to Ms/Mrs Renee Casely-Hayford FNP-C all fantastic and professional bedside manner. She was kind and compassionate to my issue and was able to treat me on the spot! Thank you, all of y’all! I’m the lady who gave y’all an air hug as I was just so happy and appreciative 😊 I Absolutely recommend this place if you need an urgent care. From start to finish Me and my son were in and out in about 30mins!

The doctor was so kind and knowledgeable. She was also very patient with my 4.5 y/o. The front desk staff were helpful and considerate during our visit. It was a very pleasant experience overall!

Dr. Sarah was my lifesaver. couple of days ago I suffered from a severe bacterial infection, and it was her timely intervention that saved me. Thanks to her skillful care, I am now steadily recovering. If you are seeking a professional urgent care this place is definitely what you want.

Came in dealing with some uncomfortable stomach pain after vacationing in cancun. Sarah Reber took great care of me and also had a professional and welcoming bedside manner. Ran a few test and she prescribed me some medication. It’s been a day after my appointment and i am already feeling better.

Receptionist at the counter was only interested in collecting insurance information and least bother about addressing patients urgency. Center is named urgent care so priority should be given to treatment and not to run insurance and complete forms.Doctor spent less than 20 seconds to listen to me and prescribed anti-biotics for allergy I had. I am glad I took opinion of family doctor and realized that medicine given was not sufficient to cure my allergy. In short, poor diagnosis and no intent shown by doctor to listen to me or explain her diagnosis.I was given an estimate of $165 and received actual bill of $230. It proves that your receptionist/ clerk is not trained enough to calculate cost to patient and give approximation closer to actual.Awful experience... All your urgent care cares about is $$

My daughter was congested and had a ear ache. I was able to take her to AFC and she was seen promptly. The sign in process was easy and Sarah the PA. and her entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend AFC to family and friends.

This place is amazing! I highly recommend it!! The staff treats you with such care and respect! I’ve done covid tests here as well and the process is the easiest I’ve dealt with and they are super fast with results!

Great service. I was a walk in with a sore throat. I had to have some test run, talked to the doctor, got my RX, and was out the door within 1 hour. Will definitely go back if needed.

I live out of state but was very sick when I came to AFC Urgent Care. I was able to make a same day appointment on their app. Check In was very smooth with them taking my insurance. I had a very short wait. Katrina Menissy FNP-C was very attentive and thorough in her examination, diagnosis and prescribing what I needed for my illness. I have been a patient of AFC twice, and because I had such a great experience. When I needed to have my Grandson seen by a doctor. AFC was my first thought, and they didnt disappoint me again. Dr. Katrina was very thorough, kind and patient with my Grandson.

The phyisican and nurses that assisted me were very thorough and even triple checked a of the medication they prescribed me because I’m still nursing.Not to mention, the front desk personnel was welcoming!

I went in for a sore throat and slight cough. I did not have health insurance so it was self pay which included 2 tests. Provider only did 1 test (Strep) which I was told came back negative. Provider never bothered to check my ears, or hear my heart or lungs. Offered me steroid pills (prednisone) which is unusual and said to me “even if you have strep you don’t need antibiotic for it” which is never heard of. It was a complete waste of $165 as I felt like I was being evaluated by some student instead of a professional. Never going back to this location. I will also file a complaint with BBB.

Friendly and so clean. It’s nice visiting a clinic where the medical staff look and behave healthily.

I swore i would never come back to this urgent care because of the front office staff. but now, i’m not sure how to feel about this location as a whole. i have gone to this urgent care before and out of those times there has been 2 times that i have had allergic reactions which went misdiagnosed. i ended up in the emergency room last monday when my lips began to swell from onset anaphylaxis. come to find out i had a delayed reaction to a medication i kept being prescribed by the same person. all of the doctors in the emergency room couldn’t believe the staff at this location had no clue what was going on. even with having my full medical history. fun times. do yourself a favor and skip this location if you value your life, would rather not bankrupt yourself from the emergency room bill, hospital stay, meds, carelessness, and the overall lack of value of care! fyi, if you’re a little too dark for their liking you may want to try some where else.

Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Anisha at the front desk was great and very patient, Dr.Katrina was amazing, she was very attentive and you can tell these people want to help you out and solve your health issues, unlike many urgent cares they just want to throw you some medicine and get your visit over with, they were willing to hear me out and explain what exactly is needed and why, I visited on Friday, and today (Sunday) they gave me a call to checkup on me to see how I was doing. Amazing customer service, clean clinic, professional doctors, and friendly management. I will definitely be making this my main Urgent Care if I ever need to go again, thank you everyone.

Very clean. Staff friendly but grandson was really sick and it took a little longer than I think it should have to get him to a room where he could lay down. Only one person in waiting room and I did not see anyone come out. But overall a good urgent care clinic for minor illness. NP very friendly and thorough. We would use again if needed

I recently visited this clinic and they were incredibly polite and attentive. They listened to my concerns and took the time to address them. I needed a shot, but they also made sure to have me wait in order to confirm that I wouldnt have any allergic reactions. This level of care and caution is something I havent experienced in an urgent care clinic since I moved to Houston area. I am extremely impressed and grateful for their service, and they will definitely be my go-to clinic from now on.

I absolutely adore the staff of this Clinic. I have only great experiences to speak of because I have been here several times between myself and my son. Convenience aside, I am always treated with such care and friendliness, the kind of friendliness that feels like they already know you and they make you so comfortable and at ease. Their medical care is always spot on and they actually care about how youre doing after your visit during your treatment. So much easier to reach this staff than any other doctor Ive ever been to.

My son accidentally stepped on a Mechanical Pencil Lead and it was stuck in his foot.I could tell he was in quite a bit of pain.We took him to AFC urgent care. They checked for his Vitals and explained the process that they are going to do.They removed the pencil lead and advised what we need to for next 3 days.I was very happy with the way AFC staff took care of us and extremelely satisfied with their service.

I had a bad experience. The staff was not emphatic. I had severe eye pain with blurry vision and asked multiple times to go to the eye wash station and was told no by the front desk, nurse and the PA. The PA came in the room and then left immediately because she thought I was vomiting. I had to get the nurse to call her back. Im also Physician Assistant and believe this was just bad bedside manner and horrible care. I will not be coming back to this place again.

Went for a Cyst Removal, called on the phone and told they could remove it, got there and the doctor said we wouldn’t remove because it’s not urgent. But the miscommunication on the phone is the only reason it’s one star down from a 5. Service on the front desk was amazing and would recommend going back as long as it’s urgent

I set up an appointment and got there a few minutes late due to traffic. However the staff did not mind and was very understanding. The entire staff was very friendly and courteous. Thank you AFC

Great service. Didn’t wait long. Doctor went above and beyond for my sick child. She hears my concerns and met my expectations beyond what I thought. Very happy and will always come to this location.

The staff I spoke with was kind and friendly. The wait was way longer than when I have visited prior with my 3 children on at least 3 different occasions. I was given prescription to go get filled. When we checked in they asked us where we wanted our prescription filled, but didnt call. So they didnt call it in, by the time we arrived to get it filled the pharmacy was about to close. In the past the meds were called into the pharmacy and we went and picked it up. No diagnosis, but I was given meds for pain. I am not sure how I feel about that. I dont take medicine at all. Not even for a headache, sleep is my medicine. Overall I thought I would have more information about the pain I am dealing with, but I have the same information with medicine. My experience with my children was better than my own personal experience to sum up the visit. I read on my summary that benefits and risk were explained before my shot. Not true! Only the benefits were spoken about when suggesting the shot for pain. No risk information was given. So please ask about both at any visit. Apparently I was supposed to be informed of both. If it is my kids I would take them again possibly because I felt more informed. I would not recommend for an adult unless they had strep throat or some illness. Maybe more information is given for things like that.

Dr. Katrina is awful, but the other staff members were really friendly and helpful. Im doing my best not to pull the race card here, but Dr. Katrina was very standoffish and condescending. When I called days later to follow up about worsened symptoms, no one actually returned my call - instead another staff member followed up with me as part of their protocol, but she wasnt even aware that I had already reached out. Im grateful, however, that she did reach out because I wouldnt have heard back from anyone otherwise.Dr. Katrina also suggested (via her staff because she never talked to me directly) that I come back to the facility for an x-ray, which was clearly only encouraged so she could get more financial benefits from the situation. I dont have insurance so I respectfully declined. (I will give them credit for offering to waive the 2nd visit price so I would only have to pay for the x-ray, but I think it was her intent to have me come back from the start.) If you are black, try to avoid this doctor if possible. Im hoping my experience was a unique one, though.

PA was very professional and respectful and showed me a lot of empathy for the situation I was in. I would definitely recommend this facility to my family and friends.

Wow I Absolutely was SOOO VERY Impressed with this Very Friendly, Caring & Efficient Urgent Care in Aliana!! I waited too long getting treated for a sinus infection & after 9 days I just couldnt shake the Horrible Lingering Cough, which kept me up night & day!! They checked me in, paperwork was quick & saw me in a timely manner. The PA on duty was WONDERFUL Ashley Moore & her adorable Loving Assistant, Ingrid took my info & vitals & later gave me, a much needed Stetiod Injection 💉 for my tight chest & inflammation. Also Dr Moore was so thorough in Perscribing Cough Capsules, Z pac & breathing treatment meds.Again I am & was SO VERY IMPRESSED with The Staff & the Cleanliness of their clinic. in Fact I will go to them now whenever I am sick and just go to my PC for my annual exam and bloodwiork, since they are also much closer to my house.Oh and I also need to give an Excellent Shout Out to the efficient, friendly front office Precious Girl, McKenna.. I first called & she made a timely Appt for me and I was able to shower, wash my hair and get over there. I wish I could say all good things about it because the provider is actually good. She knows her work but unfortunately I get the same experience every time I come to get my toddler and a child checked. The wait time is terrible! Easily 2 hours and more and they can’t even do anything about it! It gets so frustrating keeping the kids calm while waiting. Either the management needs to get more staff/ provider hired or make it clear before that the wait won’t be ‘Minimal’. Too bad for me that this is the closest to my place!

I had a very severe strep and they were amazing at helping me. They got me what I needed and the medication that night and I felt better the following day. They asked me the right questions to make sure they gave me the appropriate medication. Katrina was the one who saw and helped me. And everyone was kind and nice.

Fast, Friendly, and Competent. They took x-rays and got the results back in 10 minutes. Referred me to a trusted doctor for follow-up.

I wasn’t feeling well, I was coughing uncontrollably. I went to AFC Urgent Care and was pleased with the service provided.The wait was a bit long considering I was the only one in the waiting room. How ever, the Physician went above and beyond to find the cause of my condition, and exceeded my expectations in her efforts. I felt immediate relief from the treatment she provided. I give them 5 stars ⭐️ on the service provided!!! Will return and would definitely recommend 👍🏾

Every time I take my child there they do the best work and are very attentive to his needs. They have Patience and are very nice. And they give accurate diagnoses and medication. I will always go here in time of emergency

Woke up this morning with Sinus pain. I was able to schedule an early morning appointment and receive quality 5 star care.Easy check in, great staff, caring health care providers. I recommend this location!

I appreciate the thoroughness the staff and doctor exhibited during my visit. They showed that they truly cared about my well-being.

I appreciated being seen so quickly,   I was going out of town the next day, and had developed cellulitis from a wasp sting.  It could have been a lot worse if not treated right away.

I took my daughter for a bad throat to this urgent care. The doctor checked her well and prescribed some meds and asked me to reach out in case my daughters condition worsens. Next morning, my daughter was running a fever. I called the AFC urgent care to consult the doctor. The person on the phone told me the doctor would call me back soon. But no call came and I waited nearly two hours before I took my daughter to see another doctor. Thankfully, she was treated well by the other doctor. The call from AFC urgent care came much late in the afternoon, almost eight hours after my call. Im really disappointed by the level of care they showed.

The people here are all exceptional. I had a fantastic visit with both the welcoming front desk team and the efficient medical staff. Typically, Im not a fan of visiting urgent cares or doctors offices due to the lengthy wait times, but at this place, the waits are remarkably brief!I was attended to by Katrina, and she provided excellent care. She even reached out to check on me after my visit. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, giving it a perfect 10/10 rating.

I was in a lot of pain with my knee. The Practitioner diagnosed Gout very quickly which I’ve suffered from before. The people here are very professional and efficient. I’ve been in emergency care before with many rugby occurrences but this is the best place I’ve visited. The staff have a special chemistry that exudes relaxation even in pain. I would unreservedly recommend.

I’m a little biased but everything was great! Went to another urgent care closer to home but they told a 3 hour wait.. no thanks. I drove about 22 minutes to come to this specific location. They got us in much faster and we got seen relatively quickly. Friendly staff, Ingrid 😉, and the NP was super nice too. Wonder who’s running this joint cause they seem to be doing things right. 🤔🤣

They were fantastic. They went above and beyond to take care of the patient. They make sure and they care for the patient and make sure that they’re thoroughly taken care of.

Over all the staff did an amazing job. Still have no idea what happened or whats causing abdomen pain but they did everything in there power to figure out.

I confirmed with the agent on the phone that my 8-month old baby could be checked out. When I actually brought her there, the physicians advised that theyre not comfortable checking out her thrash which is ridiculous. Theyre perfectly ok with wasting my time.Not coming back here again.

This is my favorite Urgent Care in times of need. The one thing people neee to understand is, you need to have made an appointment and it will be quick. But walk ins will take time like they normally do. The staff here is amazing - and the PA is always on point with her diagnosis

To start off.. we usually go to a different urgent care nearby. We have been unhappy with them the last couple of times so when my son became sick and his pediatrician couldnt get him in today I decided to try AFC. BEST decision.The NP Katrina was PHENOMENAL with my son. He was very scared and she worked magic to get the tests done that they needed to do.We will definitely be using AFC again if the need arises and we cant get into our normal PCP.

Easy check in process. The office was clean and smelled fresh when I walked in. Everyone was friendly from start to finish. Julia was very nice and kind and made me feel welcomed. I had to use their services once more. The ladies at the front desk were polite and answered all my questions. The doctor listened to me and didn’t make me feel rushed.Facility was very clean. I had a really great experience. The doctor assessed and tested to see what was going on. And was very informative on medication’s. Gave me complete instructions on the medication. She was going to prescribe for me and answered all my questions.

I came in Friday morning. The team was very quick to look into my condition. Of course paperwork was needed to be filled but after that the team made an effort to treat me with urgency. I would come back here again as the NP and the rest of the nursing staff did a great job. Thank you all.

Went for urgent labs, which they said would be back in 24-48 hours. Now on day 3, and no results - they think they might have lost the sample. With the high cost of this clinic, it is like flushing hundreds of dollars down the toilet.

Weve been to multiple urget care clinics since moving to Richmond, and the staff here at AFC has the best bedside manner of any of them! They have been helpful and kind from the moment we called about scheduling an appt. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Came here for my daughters runny nose , barking cough symptoms since our PCP is not available for an earlier appointment. Ms. Katrina M saw us, did the routine test and suggested extra testing based upon my daughters symptoms. I was told up front that those test may or may not be covered by my insurance and the lab will send me a separate bill since they are of a separate provider. I okeyd on it knowing these test are important tools for a diagnosis hence right treatment meds. Yes, I payed $$$ base on my insurance pro rated price since my deductable has not been met, but thats not a fault of their own. And Yes, the wait was of some time but it would have been the same time if I have gone to our PCP. Would I use their service again given the same circumstances, YES I would.

This is an amazing urgent care. I have been here several times and every time I leave feeling cared for and heard. Katrina is simply the best there is, you can tell she truly cares for her patients and she’s very thorough is all of her work! I highly recommend afc to anyone in need of exceptional care!!

Ive always had a good experience coming here! The staff here is very prompt and thorough in making sure theyre doing the right thing. I had the pleasure of having Ingrid as my nurse while she was teaching a student as well! And the FNP Ms. Katrina was very welcoming and engaging during my physical. Have needed care for both of us in past two years and grateful there is this in between when cant get in with regular physician but not emergency as such. Employees have all been great helping us get past this computer age world even to register. Today was my husbands turn needing medical attention and I would give 100 percent if that were an option as got us in with specialist within few hours which is usually impossible. Although we had negative experience in the beginning but the visits after that were very professional and good. This place is very close to our home so we bring our daughter here in case of any emergencies.Apart from that one experience, all the following visits were awesome and we will continue to come here in future.

They were amazing. I will recommend them if you need help in urgent. It was Friday afternoon. My child had really bad cough and ear pain. We called our pediatrician, but they didnt have any appointments until Monday morning. AFC gave us an appointment within 30 minutes and took us in. Staff was friendly and helpful. They prescribed antibiotics and my son was good by Monday. Thank you AFC!!!

I went their couple of times and found nurse practitioner Katrina is really good. No complaints about other staff as well. I am giving this place 4 star only because of the wait time in the exam room. Other than that a reliable setting to go if you need some urgent care.

I had the best experience. I am an athlete and had this unknown injury on my right thigh and PA Sarah was extraordinary. She reassured me everything was going to be okay and that no matter the circumstances shed have a good treatment plan to assist with my recovery. That a lone put me at ease and took away any fears I had at the time. I was concerned about maintaining a good workout routine and she gave me helpful alternatives which I started using right away. I highly recommend them. The facility is neat and the staff is polite.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM. They will tell you that you’ll be seen by an actual doctor but they force an INCOMPETENT and rude nurse on you. They ran so many unnecessary tests on me just so they can bill the heck out of my insurance yet only gave me a generic steroid and misdiagnosed me. I was told to call back if I didn’t feel better after a week and I wouldn’t have to revisit the clinic. I called back after a week and finally got a hold of nurse who originally saw me. She was rude and defensive over the phone. She just wanted me to come and visit them again. Incredibly unprofessional and deceitful business.

My daughter went in for a sports physical. It was easy and fast. Everyone was so sweet and nice. The clinic office itself was huge and very nice and smelled clean. Check them out!

Everyone at AFC was fantastic. They were very gracious and went out of their way to show their hospitality. When it was my turn, the professional staff was knowledgeable and I received excellent care. As it turned out, the lab recommended a different medication than what was perscribed. The staff was very efficient in faxing in the new med and notifying me to go get it promptly. I could not have asked for better care. I strongly recommend AFC urgent care to anyone who wants to avoid the emergency room, is feeling under the weather and wants to be seen today, needs a physical to work or to participate you cant do better than AFC Urgent Care. I will go back when I need care again.

Paid a $165 for a visit to get a check-up which was a huge waste of money, Doctor barley looked at me, Did not inspect my ears, Eyes, Or throat, Did not check my BPM or pressure, They did not perform any test on me, No nasal swab, Or blood test, I came in very sick with mucus coming out of my eyes severe congestion, The doctor asked me 4 questions and left, Prescribed me anti-biotic and didnt even diagnose me.... Complete waste of time and money.... Cant believe I spent a $165 for a 2 minute visit.....

I am surprise how people are giving 5 star reviews for this urgent care at Aliana.I am trying to find if we can give negative stars.. Google is not allowing me to post if I do not select the star.We decided not go to this place again and I am informing all my friends and family the same.NOW, let me explain my experience.I took my 5 yrs old son (have 102 fever) to this place, I went to this place because it is close to where we live. We went and fill out the patient forms and charged $120, waited there for almost 1.5 hours to go in. Finally they called in and ask us to wait in a room. A lady came and checked his temperature and pulse/O2 with oximeter. Heartrate was high, because of the high fever and the SPO2 was 90-92%. So the lady said the provider will come shortly, in few mins another lady walked in and did the same. Checked temperature and oximeter, the reading was almost same. Then she just says take him to emergency, his lungs might be with fluids due to some infection and she was telling me to take to one specific ER which is 30mins away from our place. And want to make a point here, she did not even checked his lungs or at least touch him. I said, could you please check his lungs and see if you hear anything, then you know what she said. I know I can tell by touching his finger -- did not understood know how she knows, thats great right?Then I said sure I will take him right away.I rushed to home and again check his reading with the oximeter we had at home and it was around 94%. But still I did not delay and took him to the Pediatric ER at Memorial Hermann on 59-99. She already scared me at the urgent and in the meanwhile she again called my wife and saying that you have to take him to that ER or else it would be very serious. Being in a medical field there would be some better way to tell/explain parents, so we dont get damn panic, especially in regards to the kids. My wife freaked and she was helpless and holding my 9month old girl and calls me and cries.Nobody will take chances especially in case of kids.OMG the urgent care person already told me and I am taking him to ER and told her not to worry and said it definitely would be some viral fever.Look there is a way to inform - please take him to the ER and they will monitor and take care as needed. Rather you scare the parents and panic them, this is so bad. :(I reached the ER and rushed carrying my son, there was around 40 people waiting for the treatment. I was not sure what to do, and asked the lady at the reception and she said it would be a while. Then I asked a lady on the side and requested her to check his vitals so they can look and give a room if needed. Gladly that lady was able to check and said its 92%, he is fine and asked us to have a seat. After few mins they called in and the Doctor checked his lungs, ears, throat etc. She confirmed the lungs are all clear and it might be some viral and asked us to wait until we get a room.After sometime they gave us a room and was monitoring his vitals etc. They gave fever medication to lower his temperature and monitor his vitals.Later doctor came inside and check and these are her words.Usually kids would have 1 or 2 % less SPO2 when compared to adults due to multiple reasons and with high fever and viral fever it might little less like between 90-94%. And doctor said, not sure why the Urgent care people said like that but if it is viral and/or respiratory viral infection these readings will be little less. They are seeing lot of similar/same cases for kids as lot of virus is around the community. They monitored for 2-3 hours and then discharge us with instructions if the fever continue for more than 5 days.Next day we also took him to his pediatrician and he also checked his lungs, ears, throat etc. and they were all fine. She tried to reach out to the urgent care but no response.I know these numbers are very important, but there should be a better way to tell and explain. My advise would be for kids, always go to the pediatric urgent cares only.

I slipped and fell and after a few hours noticed that my left thumb was swollen, black and blue and hurt. I contacted urgent care and the rest resulted in one of the best medical experience I have had to date. First of all the wait wasnt long and I was seen almost immediately. The satff was very accommodating, friendly and professional but most of all experienced. They knew what to do and wasted no time in getting my thumb Xrayed. Not only did they provide the results but helped me with a reference to get the matter resolved. It will definitely be my go to for all my future medical needs.

Had me waiting 1hr and 45 min. I walked out. Better get my refund. Had me do a covid and flu test.. how about the NP/PA come and actually ask what was wrong... Said 15 mins they’ll be back. It’s been 45 minutes. This ain’t no urgent care, this is a failed operated wannabe clinic. Thank goodness for the 100 of other urgent cares around this area.

The staff during my visit was amazing! Katrina the NP was so knowledgeable and really did take care of all my needs, Anisha gave a fabulous injection (I hate shots btw) I could barely feel it, and Raven was so personable/friendly. 10/10 would recommend

Long wait although only 1 patient ahead of us. It took almost 2 hours for a simple visit.

Not too happy with this place. Had stitch work performed on a finger and it was done improperly. I still dont have feeling in a part of my finger and it has been months since the procedure. I also had to keep reminding them to send in my paperwork for workers compensation and I lost money out of pocket because the claim expired. They do have a nice staff, but thats the only positive thing about this place unfortunately.

My visit at AFC Urgent Care Richmond was awesome. The staff was great, the service was fast. Most of all the doctor was knowledgeable, and thorough with my care and diagnosis. I am feeling better. I will continue to take my family to this location. 🤩

The staff and the doctors and nurse practitioners were really sweet and genuine and they are super helpful and kind.. however I went into the office with a potential allergic reaction at 13 weeks pregnant and I left with one dose of Benadryl 3 and 1/2 hour time of wait and a bottle of water and they expect me to pay $219 for that when I only saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours after being told that I could potentially be having an allergic reaction and that they were going to give me Benadryl will I sat in the waiting room, there was no sense of urgency for the fact that I was pregnant with a heart rate above 100 sitting down for an extended period of time nor was there urgency for the allergic reaction besides giving me Benadryl.

After taking my children here, I knew that if I was ever in a position to need to go to urgent care, I would want the same quality care that they received. After taking ill myself, that’s exactly what happened recently, and I am thankful for the care, timeliness, incredible bedside manner and knowledge I received during my visit. Would definitely recommend!

I had to take my 16 y/o because she fell and hurt her knee and the staff and treatment was excellent, from the time we entered the clinic until we left. The nurse and the PA were AWESOME! Very professional and treated her so nicely. Definitely recommend!

Katrina, NP was kind, straight-forward, professional, informative, and gave us a great experience in an otherwise unpleasant situation, after my spouse had GI and respiratory issues after we came back from vacation a few days ago. The online check-in process and in-person experience was smooth and easy from start to finish.

I was seen within 15 minutes as I was the only one in the waiting room. I’ve been here before and both times have been exceptional. They obviously clean and take care of the place and that tells you enough as the pt care is superb.

The best Urgent Care in H-Town. The scheduling process is fast and easy, and can be made from home. The facility is clean and spacious. The front desk and back desk staff are very nice and helpful. I walked in and just had to register online. Was seen quickly...well, there was a guy who went before me even though I got there first, but he was sent there by his job, so he was ready, and I was still registering. But soon as I was done, they saw me. Theyre attentive and friendly, so I felt comfortable and at ease being there...I dont like going to the dr, so thats a big plus for me.

I am from Mississippi and I have to say the entire staff went above to make sure I was comfortable and also helped me with my check-in process. “Katrina” listened to me as I was telling her about my headaches that I have had the past few days, ( I work for AT&T, one of the most stressful companies in the world for the past 20 years)so I do have high blood pressure and also know how important it is to take medication. But I’m definitely hard headed. I have been to this Urgent Care location many times. I can go closer to home which is an hour away but this place and its staff are worth the drive. They have treated my family and I with such compassion and care everytime weve been there. Almost like family. No other place has compared. Im so grateful for them. They have my trust and I have recommended all my family and friends. I cant say enough.

Prompt. Taken within 5 minutes of checking in. Efficient. The MA, McKenna, took me to the exam room, did BP, oxygen saturation, pulse, swabs and temperature. 5 minutes later I was getting a chest x-ray. Sarah, the PA came in about 20 minutes later, listened to my heart, explained the diagnosis, and I was walking out 1 hour after I checked in. Friendly, efficient, prompt and caring.

Not only were they so unbelievably patient with me considering my kids were out of control all over the place. But they were the first of 5 doctor visits to be able to tell me what they had and how to help! I was crying in the office I was so frustrated with dealing with this for 2 weeks and having to skip work and daycare. Thank yall for being so kind and patient and understanding and knowledgeable

This was an urgent trip for care, first time at this facility. EveryOne was fabulous, the front desk team as well as the providers in the back. We were able to have several tests as well as an x-ray right there ASAP with results in minutes. I would highly recommend this team in an Urgent Care need without hesitation. Thanks to them today is a better day for my grandson after being treated by them,

Took my 8yr old here for a respiratory infection. Other than the hour wait after my appointment time, everything was beyond fantastic! The staff was warm & friendly. They made my very sick kid feel comfortable & got 3 nose swabs with minimal tears!! I swear magic! The nurse practitioner was amazing. She had us in and out with a Flu diagnosis in 20 mins. I’m thrilled to have such an amazing Urgent Care just minutes from my home!

The entire team is amazing. The doctor listens to your concerns so you could feel better. I also had good experience in the past when I had a finger cut and the doctor actually came out to the car to see if it’s something the urgent care can do or if I need to go to the ER. I would recommend AFC urgent care to anyone that’s needs care.
