I had a disappointing experience with the customer service at this hospital. When I made an appointment over the phone, I asked the receptionist if my procedure was going to hurt, and she said yes. I then asked if they provide any medicine to help with the pain, and she said no. When I asked if I would be able to drive home afterward, she said yes but added that I wouldnt be too happy. This made me hesitant to make the appointment, but I did anyway.When I arrived, I sat in the waiting room, just about 7 feet away from the receptionist, and I was the only person there for an hour. Not once did anyone ask if I had an appointment or if they could help me. They made absolutely no eye contact and seemed to be hiding behind their computer screens, giggling and watching TikTok. After deciding to walk up to the counter to check in, even though I had already done it online, I was finally seen by my doctor.Dr. Ott was wonderful and the procedure wasnt painful at all—just a little bit of discomfort. He also reassured me that driving home would be fine. Overall, while the medical care was excellent, the customer service left much to be desired.

Dr Ott spent a good amount of time with me. He was patient and helped educate me. The office was efficient and that is appreciated.

Drove 2 hours for this 15 minute appointment just to be told that they couldnt treat me and recomend yet another specialist. A phone call would have worked but I guess you cant be billed for a phone call.

Horrible, it was the worst visit Ive ever had. His Medical assistant was no better to me either. The only ppl the were nice r cared were the office ladies and the lady that was scheduling my surgery appointment. The fact he literally barely looked over my lab results or my file only saw certain things and than went to automatic judging central without getting the whole picture was super upsetting. It showed me straight away, that i was not going to get the care and consideration I needed. He only asked me one damn question through out the whole visit. And when ever I tried to ask him something bout things I wouldnt get an answer. he kept going back and repeating what he was determined to tell me regardless if the question had anything to with that topic. His assistant was the same way she looked at one part of my record asked me in a very judgemental tone as well a question than when i told her no. She got even ruder acted like I was lieing. I watched her not look at my file anymore after that. If she did she wouldve saw my many surgeries and health history. Than maybe her judgey attitude would have been nicer to me too but idk she was not nice to either from the get go. That whole experience was horrible for me and left me crying in my car after I left with how bad they treated and made me feel.

I truly wish I could’ve gave zero stars. He has horrible bedside manner. I went in with concerns that I’ve had for the last 27 years. I’ve tried every option that could possibly have given me. I was recommended to the doctor. I walked in and told him what I was experiencing and what I needed, and he flat out, looked at me and told me he wouldn’t do anything for me, he is an absolutely horrible doctor. I would never ever recommend anybody to him. He may be better if you’re having. A baby but if your having any other female issues DONT DO IT!!!

I was very happy with Dr. Ott and his staff. I felt at ease from the moment the nurse took my back to my room and Dr. Ott was very professional and took his time explaining to me my diagnosis.

The office staff is very warm and caring. I cannot say enough about Dr. Ott. He is so kind and takes his time to explain everything and makes sure you understand. I have never had a better experience at a doctor’s office!

Dr Ott is both personable and professional. His expertise has significantly changed my life for the better. I highly recommend him.

All the staff were very nice and respectful; didn’t have to wait very long prior to appt; I felt that Dr Ott was extremely thorough in his explanations and gave me ample time to ask any questions. The ultrasound tech was very patient and kind. All in all, the visit went well and I was better informed and less nerved-out.

I was pleased with my experience during my appointment with Dr. Ott. He is kind, patient, and professional. He took time to answer my questions and eased my concerns. One of the things he said when I asked if there was anything else I should or should not do regarding my health situation, his answer was to enjoy life every day. I love that! Its so important, even when faced with challenges, to remember to find joy in each day. It really helps during tough times.

I was called 3 hours before my appointment and told Dr Ott does not take medicare patients. Ive seen him before. Very poor communication here.When I saw him in the past he was professional and kind. No problem with him.

Dr. Ott was very helpful describing options for me with my concerns. He listens attentively and is great at explaining procedures, diagnosis, and other specific concerns.

First time meeting Dr. Ott he was very nice answered all my questions and made me feel positive about my visit. 😊

Dr. Ott was AMAZING! He really made me feel like my feelings were valid and I felt heard. We talked about my fears and he didn’t sugar coat things for me and laid out my options in a caring way. I am so thankful I saw him before making decisions about future babies

The facility was easy to find. The surroundings were beautiful. The service was wonderful. I appreciated how kind and personable the staff was. I didnt catch the name of the lady who helped us at the front desk, but her patience and kindness in communicating made us feel so welcome. Ashley was the nurse who helped us. She was amazing. I loved her softness and patience with me as this was a new experience for me. She gave me ample time to undress and didnt rush me. I loved that. She was very soft spoken and patient getting my info. She made a big impression on me. Dr. Ott made sure we had our questions answered and gave us a wonderful referral. I feel like he listened and addressed our particular concerns. He was quick and gentle with the pap smear. He explained well what to expect, etc. I appreciated that with this being my first one. His bed side manner was incredible. It soothed a lot of the awkward nature of a first appointment. I appreciate the kind and quality care we received. Thank you to IHC, Dr. Ott, Ashley, the Lady at the front desk, and everyone who made the visit possible and enjoyable. 💕

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Ott and his assistant Mel. I dont like having to start over with new doctors but I was so happy with how I was treated. Dr. Ott actually listened to me and addressed all my concerns. He was kind and friendly. I would highly recommend him.

I went to Dr Ott about 3 years ago to get an IUD and was impressed. I felt like he went over all the options and listened to my concerns. I haven’t had any problems with my IUD and I wasn’t necessarily worried about anything, but I called his office back in probably late October to schedule a routine pap smear because I know everyone is booked out a ways. I went to my appointment this past Wednesday and had a complete opposite experience. I have never felt like a doctor or his MA didn’t want to talk to me, and I got the impression that they felt like I was wasting their time. They asked if I had had any changes since I came in last or if I had any concerns. When I said no, they told me that I didn’t need one and to come back in 2 years. His MA flipped her hair and said bye before walking out. I’ve called and scheduled another appointment with a different office for next month since I felt like I was pretty much ignored.

I didn’t have to wait to see the doctor. The doctor took his time to explain what was wrong with me and my options. I felt good when I left the office.

Dr.Ott was very nice and polite. He explained to me everything that is happen with my problem. That l needed a specialist to do the work. I will recommend my friends to him.

Medical assistant was very helpful and patient . Dr. Ott was thorough and direct. He answered my questions and listened to my concerns even for a very brief appointment.

Dr. Ott was knowledgeable took time with me, and gave me the reassurance I needed for this stage in my life. I was very happy I made the appointment.

He’s wonderful! I had so many questions and, bless him, he took the time to answer each one. And if I looked as stupid as I felt, Dr. Ott re-explained and provided a detailed diagram. His patience and understanding are most appreciated, respected and valued.

Soooo much better than my previous experience with another doctor in this office. Dr.Ott spent the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. He was gentle and polite, and all the things you want in a doctor caring for your reproductive health.

I was a few minutes late due to traffic work and difficulty finding the office. When I called the office to reschedule I was told there is a 15-minute grace period, and they gave me instructions to the office.From the moment I arrived I was treated quickly and professionally. The staff were all very friendly and courteous.I like Dr. OTT very much.Thank you for a pleasant and short visit.

Dr Ott is a kind caring doctor that goes out of his way to help his patients anytime day or night. We greatly appreciate how he helped June when she was in the hospital. He is a class act!!!

Every one was knowledgeable and highly efficient. They all knew their roles and performed them impeccably. My only minor concern was I felt rushed after the procedure. I was released at an appropriate time based on how I felt but I felt pressured to answer the nurse’s questions to the affirmative.

I love Dr. Ott. He is thorough in his exams, eases any worries I have had, or my family members have had.He was my Mothers GYN, as well as my sisters.You can see that he truly cares.

I LOVE Dr. Ott! I came to him after having an emergency C-section wanting to try to have my next children vaginally. He recommended a natural (w/o an epidural) approach, (which is what I secretly wanted as well,) so I could be more aware of my body’s needs. I never encountered a Dr. who recommended a natural birth. My VBAC was beautiful. Dr. Ott coached me every step of the way. I had 3 VBACs total with Dr. Ott.

Dr Ott was very pleasant and knowledgeable in the area that I am having issues. The staff is great. I would definitely recommend.

I believe it has been about 3 years since I had my surgery with Dr Ott. I had my uterus removed, repair, and bladder sling put in. It was during the beginning of COVID and after my surgery I only needed to come in for a follow-up visit if I was having problems. I have never had even one issue that I needed to go back and talk to him about. He made me feel very comfortable and he did an excellent job.

Dr. Ott is a wonderful person and doctor.

I’ve been seeing Dr Ott for the last year for GYN issues and he’s been incredibly patient and kind, gives good explanations and shared decision making. I really appreciate the care I receive at the Women’s Center. All the staff has been wonderful.

I have had worries about some health issues my doctor retired, I was very reluctant as this is not anything anybody is comfortable with. I was referred to Dr Ott, they got me in the next day after hearing about my issues. Dr Ott was very thorough and very nice. I felt very comfortable with him. I was a little less likeable of the young girl who checked me in at the front desk though. She wasn’t very friendly. I would recommend Dr Ott and his nursing staff to every female out there.

Great Dr. He explains medical terminology in a ways that you can understand using medical diagrams and common examples.

Dr. Ott is amazing. He is very knowledgeable and knows how to explain clinically and personally to a patient knowledge and understanding. I recommend him and his office to all my friends.

I am a new patient called to schedule and appointment. They didnt have anything till a month later however, they asked about my situation put me on highest priority on cancellation list & contacted me a couple hours later to get me in. The staff was amazing! Dr. Ott was very knowledgeable and explained a lot to me. Thank you all for such a pleasant visit during the most painful time. I was recently seen by Dr Ott and Im very happy with the services provided. Dr Ott took the time to fully explain my condition and all the treatment plans available for it. He allowed me to choose the treatment plan that better suit my current life situations and was there for me before, during, and after my surgery. I liked my doctor! Fast, to the point and liked that ultrasound done in office to rule out possible cancers.As far as surveys-I am not a statistic. I am not an algorithm. The human side of medicine is being lost to statistical analysis and everyone is suffering because of it. Doctors look more unhappy and are literally killing themselves to placate the master of statistics and algorithms. Treat your doctors better!!!!

Dr. It was referred to me after being in the er. He was so good at explaining to me what was happening with my health and I am so glad I went to him. I feel like he is very good at what he does and feel comfortable about moving forward with this office.

I went to see Dr Ott referred to me by my insurance. Was told he would only do part of what I needed done surgically due to a prolapse and an ovarian cyst . Found out a day later he had planned to.do this the old school way by cutting into my stomach. I kindly asked His medical assistant to ask him to reconsider. I was called back by the MA and told he canceled my surgery. I give them not even a 1 star the Dr was rude and the MA was not willing to work with my regarding scheduling . Stay far away from this office

Dr Ott is a knowledgeable professional man. He is honest, caring, & very kind. He has wisdom with common sense.

Dr. Ott is an excellent surgeon. Over a course of fifteen years he has performed three C-sections and a hysterectomy for me. In the surgical consultation for the hysterectomy, he explained everything about the procedure very thoroughly, answered all my questions, and ran all of the necessary examinations needed to determine if this surgery was right for me including ultra-sound, blood work, biopsy, and urinalysis, all in the same appointment! He performed the surgery laparoscopically with only three small incisions instead of the more standard five. As a result, recovery was fast and with minimal pain.

The one time I went to Dr. Ott on a referral, I was traumatized, treated cruelly, and laughed at by him and his staff as I cried out in pain after being denied anesthesia.He is not just a horrible doctor, but a horrible person.

Dr.Ott and Dr. Chalmers saved my life and allowed me to enjoy the quality of life of being a mother. Both genuinely care and took the time to listen to my concerns and fears. Addressed them all. I will never value any doctor more than I do these guys.

Dr. Ott was Awesome! He sat and talked to me and explained quite a few things that might help me. He took the time to sit and discuss everything that was going on which you dont see that happening much anymore. Very knowledgeable and respectful, and even caring, and a great bedside manner all the way around!!
