AFC Urgent Care Sarasota

This is not the place to go with an accident or injury. We went i to have a palm frond thorn that we knew was there removed, the doctor was either unwilling, unable or gets a kick back from the imaging center on the MRIs they send people for. No worries, we lanced and removed the thorn ourselves and had immediate relief. Our medical system is a joke. Its pretty pathetic when an untrained Ukrainian can do what a trained doctor could not.

We were there around 11:30 AM and had a very bizarre experience. The male attendant in scrubs had the front door lock apart and said be right with you. Another two people came in. My left side of my face was swollen, hard, felt hot and some loss of hearing. Pain was throbbing. 12 minutes later, not checked in and watching this guy try to fix the door handle, I asked if anyone else could help. He snapped back and said theres only two people here and I have to fix this or no one can get in or out. What about urgent health care? Unbelievable. We left and went to the ER.What about leaving the handle off or the door propped open like you had it when we walked in to take care of patients? There isnt a maintenance person? If this person is also a handyman, what about leaving the handle off and try to fix it after you close at 4 today? Health care was not his priority and I was in pain not knowing why the side of my face was swollen, hard and hot.I have been here a few times and overall like it and have had good and satisfying care. This just wasnt right and my tolerance was low because of the pain, but he didnt know that.....hope the lock is fixed.

Unfortunately this is the only walk in clinic in town that accepts my kids insurance ( that I have found anyways) otherwise I would stay away.I recently visited with my sick child whom I could not get into their pediatrician and even did the online check in ahead of arriving.When I got there, there was one other person in the waiting room. After an hour of sitting there ( 30 mins after my online check in time) I simply went to the desk to ask if they knew about how much longer it would be. The first person, Carrie, whom was rude to me said they could not give me an estimated time because there were more serious patients they have been treating over a sore throat….I never said my child had a sore throat and it doesn’t matter what we are there for, we are still a patient.Then the second person to chime in and be rude to me was a gentleman named German. He also told me they could not give an estimated update on time and that they do not do appointments as they are a walk in clinic ( so whats the point of a stupid check in then….) and that I can either wait an hour there at their clinic or go to the ER and wait 6 hours. SUPER rude and uncalled for, although he didn’t seem to think so.If you are going to work in a field where you CARE for people, especially those not feeling well or in pain, or with sick children learn some respect and people skills. You should be ashamed of the way you speak to people and I hope no one ever treats you or your loved ones the way you treat your patients

Had an appointment scheduled for 8:30 am. Arrived at 8:15 am. First people in the urgent care, which opened at 8;00 am. Was told we were checked in by front desk attendant. Was overlooked in lobby for over an hour by four nurses. Had to remind them that we have already checked in for appointment multiple times. Promptness should be reciprocated in this setting. Extremely disoriented office.

I was a bit concerned when I arrived-if I had not been in an Uber I would not have gone in however my experience was not terrible.First the front desk staff was 5 star. I waited 1.5 hours and then had to leave before being seen due to unforeseen circumstances not related to my illness.Appointments-I made an “appointment” on-line. However, the front desk let me know immediately that this was not an appt time, but a place holder-illness are still treated in a triage manner (degree of severity) as well as arrival time. Thank you for setting appropriate expectations.Registration-I completed the registration online (on my phone) which made check-in fast. This might be different for individuals without the capacity to navigate completing these forms on the computer.Cleanliness- bathrooms were unacceptable and dropped rating from 5 to 4When I had to leave the staff was courteous and understanding.I had chosen to pass another urgent care and come to this one due to being able to have an “appointment” and therefore I have reduced the star rating from 4 to 3.5.

Fast, efficient and effective. The teamwork and communication was clearly there. Becca at the front desk was helpful with the signing in process. Hector did a great quick job getting me to the back and doing my intake. Doctor Emily made me feel comfortable, listened and attended to each one of my concerns thoroughly. All my needs were met and I left with the prescription I needed. I highly recommend!

I went to this clinic about 2 weeks ago. I went because the reviews said it was affordable. That was a joke. Number 1: just to see the doctor for 5 mins was $200 dollars. Then she prescribed me with three medications that cost $70 dollars and none of the medications worked. My friend got me a Brazilian over the counter medication and all my symptoms were gone in two days. Meanwhile I took what was prescribed by lavender for 10 days and got worse. Something is SO wrong with our healthcare system. It’s a money hungry, greedy system!

My kids and I have visited this clinic on many occasions, as my daughter gets strep throat frequently and we can’t always get into the pediatrician quick enough. Each time we visit, the entire team is friendly, helpful and always go above and beyond. It’s usually a quick and easy visit, but they do get busy… but it’s to be expected with the great service! Huge shout out to the team that we see most often, Carrie, Germ, Hector, Becca, Erin, Eric and providers Mel & Emily - Thank you for all you do!!!!

I have been here twice, with each of my children. Both times were wonderful. The check-in is always efficient. The doctor is so kind and informative. I always feel like we receive exceptional urgent care at Lavender.

Very disappointed. I called for a follow up since I was still not feeling better. My husband caught the same bug, went to Sarasota Memorial Urgent care and was given a prescription. He is now better. I am still sick, so I followed up and was told there might be a video consult option. No follow up. I waited all day, only to follow up to find out they were not going to grant me the online video chat. It’s all about the co-pay, very unprofessional. I will not be returning and would not recommend them to anyone. .

Wow!! I saw PA Victoria for a medical issue and she was amazing!!! She has the best bedside manner that I have ever seen at an UC. She was honest about the best treatment and did not just give me an unneeded antibiotic. I really appreciate a provider that really cares about patient health and not just the bottom dollar! Great pick!!! I will be back for sure!!!

Update: Just received a courtesy call: they wanted to see how my son was doing. I would give them 10 stars if that was an option. Thank you again!We are visiting from VA. We had to make an emergency visit due to sunburn. We were happily surprised by the 0 patients in the waiting room. Checking in was easy and fast. Carrie and Hector took very good care of my son.

I recently broke my foot and had the best care!!! I had messaged Erin as I had just met her and she said to come in and they would X-ray me and there was NO wait! Everyone from the front desk to the practitioner treated me with care and compassion. Their prognosis was correct. They fitted a boot and I went to my Orthopod the next day with a CD of my scans. He said exactly what they did. I cant recommend them more for all of your needs.

I was sick but it was Emily’s determination that led to my diagnosis to get me better! She, Erin, Carrie, Eric, German and Carrie are an awesome team who love their patients!

I heard about the specials they’re having on the IV Therapy. I went in and Erin did my IV. I got the one that’s called immunity boost which is full of great supplements. She did an amazing job. I didn’t even feel the IV when she did it. She was very nice and accommodating. She made me feel very comfortable. I felt like a million bucks after. I highly recommend this clinic everyone was wonderful from the check in to the end. Carrie at the front desk was nice and friendly and Rebecca did my vitals. She was also great at what she does. I walked in expecting to wait 30 minutes - 1 hour before getting checked out my a MA or technician, which is common sometimes at most urgent care centers. Once I checked in, I was seen by the urgent care worker in less than 10 minutes and was able to make it to work much earlier than expected. I will definitely used this location again for any of my urgent care needs for the quickness and efficiency. Carrie and Rebecca were friendly and made the check-in process. 10/10 recommend Lavender Healthcare & Wellness!

The staff here was amazing. They took care of me and made sure that I updated whenever needed. Carrie and Becca at the front desk were very helpful and knowledgeable when checking in and filling out paperwork. German and Hector were quick and efficient with my vitals and taking my X-rays. I also really enjoyed working with Emily she was kind and understanding and didn’t make me feel like she was in a rush, even though they were very busy. For an urgent care they were very fast and I will make sure to come back if I have any issues in the future.

Erin was so sweet, thoughtful, compassionate and caring. I love her to death! First time meeting Emily, the PA. Great attitude and eye contact. 🥰 will go back!

Pre register is not an ‘appointment.’ The lobby was empty and I waited over an hour for a routine visit. There’s a broken mirror in the lobby, some old magazines, and a very dirty door that leads to patient rooms. While waiting, there were many conversations behind the check in desk covering a wide range of topics. None related to patient care or accelerating patient visits. There may be an imbalance between doctors and people who sit around getting paid for doing nothing at this place. Consider other options.

Not a great experience. Waited 2 hours in waiting room. Was very sick. The doc came in without even talking to me saying I had heartburn, that’s why I had a sore throat and really bad congestion. I had to persuade the doctor that it was more than that and it was actually an infection and postnasal drip and more things that another doctor confirmed. Paying $200 to have to self diagnose and persuade a doctor is crazy.

Came in when I couldn’t get into my primary and was pleasantly surprised! Very clean & accommodating staff! I was checked in at the front by Carrie, the office coordinator, she was very helpful and friendly. Great staff and facility as a whole. Would return.

Victoria is a great provider! She is very thorough and addressed all my concerns. She is caring and has excellent bedside manner. Had an amazing experience with him!

Had a great experience, great people, they laugh with you and take care of you. Its refreshing. I dont like doctors at all but theyve treated me right the couple times Ive come. Recommend trying it out

I cannot recommend this place enough, I called 30 minutes before they close and they told me to come. Im so glad they did, they got me in and out so quickly and didnt mind me having 3 kids in tow. They answered all my questions and got me the help I needed. I interacted with Carrie, Becca and Melanie and all three were so warm, and helpful. I have never had an urgent care visit like this! Thank you!!

Lavender Healthcare & Wellness is exceptional in their care for their patients. My visits were thorough and everyone is friendly. PA Emily and APRN Melanie listen well, care about their patients, and really know their stuff. And now they offer IV drips too. I will definitely be back.

My sons eye appeared to get infected so we took him to the urgent care. The staff immediately greeted us as we came in. The doctors assistant was very nice and the doctor was very professional. I would recommend this urgent care.

Absolutely ridiculous ever since this place changed its name it’s been horrendous. There’s nothing urgent about their care or service. They prioritize potential customers who call in to ask questions over checking in people who are actually there in person ready to pay them for a service. And I’m not sure if they think their walls are thicker than they are, but you can hear all the snarky comments they make about you and giggle about you when they leave your room ( wasn’t this vist but the one before this one)

I took my daughter in for a Covid test today.We had been to this facility when it was AFC Urgent Care. Now it is called Lavender healthcare. We were greeted warmly. The reception area was very clean. My daughter was taken back right away no waiting. Dustin did the test, my daughter said he was very gentle and to bring her back here if she ever needs another Covid test in the future.Thank you Dustin, Hector and Victoria for making this a very pleasant experience. You are greatly appreciated. I wouldn’t think twice about returning if need be.

Today I had the most amazing visit with PA VICTORIA, She is Extremely knowledgeable and talented at what she does. She treated me with such respect and compassion. I would definitely recommend her.

Had a great experience. In and out quickly which is always the most important! I will definitely recommend for efficiency, and friendly associates. Carrie, at reception, was super warm and inviting. Totally set the tone for the entire visit.

Im getting over Covid and came in to get IV Therapy, team was amazing, got me in right away. Erin did my IV very efficiently and made me feel super comfortable. Carrie, Becca, Eric and Melanie were also wonderful as well. I highly recommend Lavender Healthcare, thank you everyone!

This Urgent care was beyond helpful and convenient. From Covid testing in 2020 to any health issues I have had since, Emily the PA along with the rest of the staff have been phenomenal. I send my parents there too! Highly recommend this place for your urgent care needs.

Ive visited many times since my first review. Care is always excellent. Its our go-to medical facility. As a parent, I love that I can get my child in quickly and hes taken excellent care of. Great clinic. Short wait time. Fantastic doctors.

Everyone is wonderful with them.** My son was seen today for double pink eye by German, Hector, and Melanie. He left with instant relief and a prescription that was ready when i left the parking lot.

Victoria is the best PA I’ve ever been to. She’s very attentive and actually listened to my concerns regarding my pain. I’ve had a jaw condition for years but never imagined it was giving me migraines. All of my symptoms mimicked low blood sugar. I was convinced that I was diabetic. Since seeing her I finally feel relief.

Labor Day weekend as luck would have it I sliced 2 fingers on the edge of a bathroom mirror. My sister found Lavender on the web and said the reviews were excellent. From the front desk to the exam room I was treated with such care. Thank you Hector,Becca and Emily you guys rock.

I always went to AFC urgent care for any medical issues...today was my first visit to lavender health care, I am so grateful that despite moving farther south I took the trip up this way, Erin, Hector, german, and Victoria were so welcoming, kind, and during times of ongoing health problems, I find comfort in a warm atmosphere vs just another client singing in on paperwork..I highly recommend this place if you need care!

I have been going to this healthcare place for a long time , every-time I go in I’m always greeted with friendly faces and amazing people . My good friend German works there and he is very knowledgeable, and Mel was great and knew exactly what she was talking about . A very great place to go and get a check up , highly recommended.

Went in for some back pain, and the lady at the front desk with silver hair, I think her name was Carrie was so helpful. She saw how much discomfort I was in and made sure I was seen immediately. Overall a great experience thanks to her.

I was in pain with a very infected finger. First day of vacation! I am so thankful this urgent care was so close to where I was staying! Caring, compassionate staff. I was very nervous and in pain. Their knowledge and comfort got me through! I went back 2 days later as recommended for a checkup. I am very thankful to report it is completely healed! Naomi checked me in and even located a pharmacy that was open late so I could start my antibiotics that night. Tiffany was very compassionate and helped me through the procedure. Hector and German also were great! Thank you. You all made the start to my trip better as I could be on my way to healing. I highly recommend this clinic! Also, the doctor who saw me the next day was great too. My apologies, I cannot remember her name.

This place is absolutely incredible. The PA Victoria was so helpful and so hardworking. Nothing compares to her work ethics. Shes the bees knees.

We love having these people in our neighborhood. They augment my PCP and my other docs by being there when I need them for urgent stuff like flare-ups of this and that ( no not THAT; older people have other flare-ups). Getting an appointment on their app is easy. Their pricing is reasonable. They accept Medicare and lots of other insurances. They do not stick you with that larcenous facility fee that the SMH clinics charge. They are friendly, efficient and seem to be good at their purposefully limited menu of services. Theyre more than the McDonalds of healthcare; Id say they were the Chilis or Panera of healthcare. Recommend 100%

My experience at AFC Urgent Care in Sarasota was exceptional! Carrie was welcoming and prompt, making the check-in process a breeze. Once I was called into a room, Dustin displayed outstanding patient care and really made my visit enjoyable. He even gave my daughter a sticker! Becca was empathetic and explained in detail when I had questions or if I didn’t understand something. Naomi made great effort to engage in conversation with my daughter to keep her distracted while I was getting information about my care. The staff at AFC went above and beyond to make my visit as seamless as possible. The office was shipshape and had the feeling of home.

What a great place. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff was professional, efficient, and friendly. Especially Dustin. He made an unpleasant situation not so unpleasant with his caring demeanor and calming presence. I will definitely recommend AFC to my friends and family. This is a much better alternative to the emergency room.

Went for a bad cough for my child and was treated amazingly. The front was great and easy to deal but my superstar was Shay the medical assistant in the back and was so attentive and sweet.

Very good service! I came in for double ear infection and was treated by Victoria PA. She was very professional and had great rapport. 10/10 would come back.

There are third world countries that provide better medical care and attention than this place. Disgraceful. Also beware they store your credit card info and then double bill you for visits. Steer clear.

This is a good urgent care facility. The doctors & physician assistants are very knowledgeable. PA Emily Walters listens well and cares about her patient’s well-being.

Victoria (the PA) was absolutely wonderful. She was very patient with me and answered all questions. A+ for bedside manner.

A resident of California visiting Florida for a month or so, to find a second residence, and just returning from two weeks in Portugal and Spain, I had fallen ill while in Europe and when there had a consult with a doctor in Madrid. She prescribed a three-day pack antibiotics and cough meds. On my return to Florida, and not feeling well still, I decided to research walk-in urgent type care here in Sarasota! Finally, after calls into my insurance company, and Medicare look up, AFC was on top of my list to try!! I was very pleased! My total wait less than hour, I filled out brief registry forms and front desk Dustin was a sweetheart, very officiant. Then Hector, to escort me to a room to take vitals and ask questions was very professional. I waited less than a minute and NP, Melanie Wilhelm walked in. A super personality with great listening skills she listened to my lungs and said lets get x-rays to make sure nothing too serious here. Although my x-rays didnt show pneumonia, however, because of my breathing, she provided medication and also after care directions. She was one of the most amazing, caring and friendly healthcare providers I have experienced. I highly recommend this team of walk-in/urgent care.

Outstanding service. The medical assistant, Kristina, was particularly kind and supportive and made me feel very well-cared for. I am so happy I decided to go to AFC Urgent Care Sarasota! Office staff were all very nice. My doctor Melanie Wilhelm made such a lasting impression on me. I was very nervous and the doctor was so empathetic and so nice. It was a breath of fresh air. She was very knowledgeable and gave me the medicine that I needed. She took the time to listen to me and my questions and answered each of them. Melanie gave me a hug at the end! This left such a lasting impression on me. Melanie absolutely took care of me with the utmost professionalism and tender care for my smashed/broken thumb. I sure wish I could have had her same care as with her associates than I did at the surgery center and with Kennedy orthopedic. If I were giving them a review it would be no stars. Keep up the great customer care it goes a long way afc!

This was my 1st Visit to American Family Care. Couldnt be more IMPRESSED with EVERYONE. Carrie, Naomi, Sam, Emily, and I know Im forgetting someone, but, a really welcoming environment. I have a primary care doctor, but, wont hesitate to use AFC Sarasota in the future. Highly Recommend. 😊

Tried two days in a row. First day I waited an hour and eventually left since I have a toddler. Second day I got here at exactly 8am and still am waiting an hour. Apparently they only have one provider working.

It has been a Five Star experience for each of my several visits to AFC Urgent Care in Sarasota.My inital experience was with Eric providing detailed information about the AFC Direct Care Membership, and Carrie made the initial paperwork simple for a fast sign-up.I had both Hector and Naomi take my vitals and be my phlebotomists for two separate visits. The blood samples were quick and essentially painless.Melanie and Emily properly diagnosed and provided professional medical services that resolved my medical issues on each of my visits.I trust the medical services provided at this facility, and Erin added an additional family member for services promptly after receiving my request.The people here are easy to talk to, and the interactions are pleasantly fun.Its a fresh breath of air compared to alot of other Urgent care providers.This is a wonderful team of medical professionals in Sarasota, and Im sure they will continue to provide the best medical care they can for our community.

Its been a long time since I been to the Urgent Care and wasnt feeling good that day. When I got there I was greeted with front desk staff member. She made feel right at home and that took off the stress of why I was there. The staff that waited on me took my vitals and made me feel comfortable and was very nice. The woman doctor was very nice and helpful to get me feeling better by the time I was finished. The Staff are very skillful in what they do and they make sure you are taken care so you feel better than when you came in. Urgent Care Sarasota are very professional and caring. I want to thank all the staff I appreciate all you did when I was there to be helped

If I could give a 10-start review, I would. I had friendly and very personalized service from the front desk (she was by herself and super busy but maintained her cool trying to balance incoming patients, phone and co-workers) as well as the doctor and nurse. Everyone tried their best to make my visit as pleasant as it could be (for a UTI, ugh)! My husband actually paid a visit there 12 months prior for a broken toe and also received excellent service from a very kind staff. Would highly recommend this facility!

My wife was trying to get her blood drawn for a doctors visit. But her doctor wasnt in the system. The front desk person said they would get the doctor in the system and we could come back the next week and still have the labs ready for the doctor. They were very helpful. Wife says we will be going there from now on.

We drive out of our way to go to this urgent care. Melanie has treated every member of our family from stitches to the flu. We will continue to get medical care here with this staff as long as we are in the area!

Great facility. The staff knowledgeable and friendly. The woman Carrie at the front desk was so kind and welcoming.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The prescriber wrote me a prescription and put it on the wrong paper, so she cancelled the medication and put me on a medication that I specifically told her didn’t work for me. Now they say I have to come in and pay another $200 to be seen again. Disgusting practice. I would never EVER recommend this place to anyone. They are useless and cheaters. I wish I remembered the female PA that I saw, but I don’t. She was so nice and then screwed me over. I paid $200 for absolutely NOTHING.

Have been a patient twice; both times saw the PA, Emily Walters. She was incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions, and made it a great experience.

Do not go to this location. I am highly upset with the outcome of the first time of me visiting this location. I did all of the registration. I did all of the paperwork. I did all of the insurance and I paid my co-pay just for them to then say they can’t check out my child because she’s under one years old when I came to the front desk, that should have been reiterated to me that there is an age minimum to seek care you take $75 from me have me step to the back take her out of her car seat get her all prepped and ready do her pulse do her temperature to then say we don’t take people that are under one years old that should’ve been stated prior what if that was my last $75 and I’m doing everything that I need to do to ensure that my child is OK and healthy now I have to wait for you to refund me my money back and find a new location in order to seek care I understand that she should be going to a pediatrician but urgent care is what I set out because of a panic and trying to make sure she is OK so if you don’t know the policies of your own office that is not OK you can’t have a system that you’re running that only a few people know about so the front desk team doesn’t know they don’t take eight month year-old but Everyone in the back does so then the front desk team charges my card $75 for a urgent care visit that I can’t have because of my child’s age and then as I’m leaving they say oh OK we’re going to refund you your money that now takes 7 to 10 business days to show back up on my card But I never received service from you guys. What an inconvenience do not go to this location.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I went here back in March for a UTI (or what seems to be) and I paid to get a urine culture to see what was going on. They said theyd call me in 3-5 days about my results. Well, its April and I still have yet to know my results. I called like 3 times back in March and the first time I called, they said they hadnt reviewed it since it was busy. Understandable. They said they would review it by the end of the day and get back to me. I called yet again the same day (a reasonable amount of time before they close) and they told me pretty much the same thing. The next day I call, they tell me they didnt even have the results in? So which one is it? They couldnt make up their mind. Anyway, I stopped calling because it seemed like I was bothering them even though I paid for their service. Best part is, Im still having UTI symptoms.Wish I had went to the ER instead. If youre thinking of coming here, dont waste your time and money. They only care about $$$.

I am more than pleased that I decided to stop into AFC Urgent Care. Everyone there that I spoke to were extremely friendly, helpful and to the point. The staff was friendly and time efficient. The doctor Melanie was very personable and made my visit less nerve wracking. Waited about 20 minutes total but that’s nothing compared to other urgent cares! I was able to fill out my information online before my visit including insurance which made the whole process a lot easier!!

AFC is the best, that’s why they’re always so busy! The front receptionist is so so so sweet and I actually overheard her saying she’s new. She literally was amazing and so kind to everyone and I never would have thought she was new. The doctor I saw was very kind and her medical assistants/nurses were all so nice. The day I came here, I had actually gone to another walk in clinic first (I won’t name drop them 😅) and they were so rude to me for no reason, so I left there and drove straight to AFC. Im so glad I left the first place, I literally did not mind the wait at AFC, because I knew they were going to take great care of me. Thank you for being so kind when I was so sick. You guys are awesome!

We were visiting my parents and needed to bring our son in due to ear pain. My parents highly recommended this Urgent Care and I can see why. Making the appointment and completing the paperwork online was so efficient. We did still have to wait but there were many others there too! I can’t remember the lady at the front desk or the lady who triaged us - they were both excellent, and I was also very pleased with the Doctor! Thank you for making an out of state family feel so cared for on vacation!

I was able to see Emily the doctor, in a timely fashion. She made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions. German, who took my X-rays, Cristina and Camila were also very helpful and respectful. I would definitely go back when needed and would recommend them to anyone!

They were able to schedule me a same day appointment with Dr. Moor, Orthopedic Surgeon, and send in my prescriptions while I was at AFC. Today I called to get a copy of my XRay.(Erin)the supervisor answered and was so polite with great customer service skills.She went over and above to check the old system without just saying we do not have it.I think people like her should be in places like this even in a busy environment with patients waiting inside.I was a patient on the phone and nothing changed her reaction for trying to help me.Thanks the ❤ goes a long way especially when u are treated with respect.Keep up the great work..Just kindness and being helpful means alot.

I took my aunt to urgent care while she was here visiting me from NY. We got in very quick, insurance accepted, we were met with smiling faces, wait time was very short. The nurses were great and NP we seen was attentive, compassionate, down to earth and very thorough. I would highly recommend this place.

I had been struggling to fight off a bronchitis infection for many weeks. Finally decided I needed to be seen since I was not getting better.At first I got the impression Dr. Stiles was just going to tell me to rest more, but after listening to my lungs he decided I might need antibiotics after all. Took my first dose that evening and by the following evening I was leaps and bounds better! So I think he probably got it right- was such a relief to feel better so fast after weeks of struggling. Thank you Dr. Stiles!

If you have any other options go anywhere else but this facility. The staff was uncommunicative and dismissive. I brought my son in for a school sports physical and there was nobody in the waiting room when we arrived. I filled out a packet of paperwork which took 20 minutes and by then four or five other people had come in. We waited with no communication for another 20 minutes while others were seen, at which point I asked about how long they thought it might be. I was told maybe only 30 minutes. We had to leave so I said we would come back next day. Next day I called early in the day to let them know we would be there, when we arrived there were others waiting but we were brought back after about 20 minutes. My son was weighed and checked for his vision and then we were left to sit in another room for almost 30 minutes. When I asked about how much longer it might be the nurse who had been sitting at the desk the whole time said she would be right in. She did not come right in however, when she finally did, the exam was less than five minutes and we were sent on our way. I have no idea who was busy with what all the rest of the time, but every time I had the staff was basically looking aimless and bored.I understand that at an urgent care facility there might be urgent issues… However that did not seem to be the case and there was no communication at any point. Knowing you could have a standard school physical exam done in five minutes and your customers out the door in 15 minutes but dragging it out for an hour and a half over two days is ridiculous.

Was by far the quickest and hassle free care facility Ive been to in Sarasota in a long time. Came in for a routine check up with blood drawn and was in and out quick. Everyone was very nice and professional. Try to go early because it got busy quick . I went online and did some pre checked info to make it quicker.

My visits are always pleasant. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They are patient and as punctual as possible. They always give you a call and make sure you receive any results and that you’re doing better, after the appointments. I highly recommend.

I needed to get a routine exam and was having some issues from an eye infection. It was easy to get in and seen. Everyone was very professional and efficient. I also felt the cost was extremely reasonable. I would definitely return or refer someone else to your clinic.

This is the only urgent care i will go to! amazing NP’s & MD’s, but my most recent visit Kristina really stood out for me. we had great conversation—she’s so personable & compassionate. while also being in healthcare, that’s something that really makes a huge difference for me when i choose where to be seen. i’d recommend going here just for how lovely & knowledgeable Kristina was!!

I have taken my 7 year old daughter here twice. We have always gotten wonderful treatment from the receptionist to the nurses and doctors. We especially love Dr. Jennifer (I believe that is her name!) she is so kind and good with kids. I was hesitant at first since it was the only urgent clinic that accepted my child’s health insurance, but was very satisfied upon leaving both times. Thank you 😊

No matter how bad I feel just going to American Family Care makes me feel better. All the employees that work there are polite, friendly and professional at their jobs. I highly recommend them and Im sure you will feel the same.

Arrived for pre flight Covid test. Prices advertised as in the picture. Insurance document requested. Required to pay the price advertised PLUS they then clip the insurance for another $100 plus for the office cost. This makes the preflight test twice as expensive as available from Walgreens CVS etc. Certificate looks like i could have printed at home. Had to request a drs signature and number in order to have it look genuine! Disingenuous and shady at best - avoid.

The whole staff that was there when I went to AFC was absolutely amazing. They all cared and helped me as quick as possible. The offices were clean which was nice. At the end the doctor (who was super nice) wished me well and the nurse who took my vitals walked me and my mom out. Definitely recommend this place!

My experience at the facility was great. I was seen in short period of time and provided with what I needed. However the service afterwards was not so good. They did collected a sample from my wound for a culture to test for MRSA/staph. One week later I had not heard back and called them. They said they did not see any results yet and would call me as soon as the results came back. It has now been almost 3 weeks and I have never heard the results of my wound culture!

My daughter had a secondary infection from having Covid weeks prior and AFC helped us tremendously. We had a great experience. The staff members were kind and helpful. The wait time was short and the doctor was thorough. I left there feeling like they really listened to her symptoms and treated accordingly. We felt well taken care of. My family honestly prefers going to AFC visiting anywhere else when we are not feeling well because we know we will receive excellent care and attention. Thank you AFC for giving our family a great experience when we aren’t feeling well.

Both me and my husband were diagnosed with pneumonia. Everyone was professional and caring. The staff really showed concern for our well being. There were follow up calls after each of our visits, and when deemed needed a change in medications.I highly recommend AFC urgent care. I would especially recommend Emily. She showed real concern for our condition.

Came in without insurance, saw a physician who seemed annoyed at the fact she was even seeing me.. described what I was having and congestion, ears hurt, lymph nodes were super swollen sore throat, she would only prescribe me prednisone for the lymph nodes which did absolutely nothing. I called and asked if a follow up visit was included they said yes drove 40 mins to go there again where I was told follow up was not included and had to pay the $150 again. I have been sick now for a month. *also note that I was told $30 to test for strep then they charged me $50. So make sure you double check. Will not be going back. I highly don’t recommend. Update: went to a different urgent care and was told I have had sinusitis and should have gotten an antibiotic from here but they didn’t…

Dont bother going in if it is within 20 minutes till closing. They refuse to offer urgent care even though staff and doctors are still there. Made me wait 10 minutes then came out and told me they cant see me because they close in 10 minutes...They ignored me when I arrived and were rude to me when they decided to approach me.

My experience at your facility was enjoyable in light of my reason for being there. The calm relaxed personality of the nurse that took my blood pressure was welcoming and foreshadowed my moments with the doctor. Since my records from the imaging center of which you provided my referral will be sent to your clinic, I will be making another appointment to ascertain any information that you can provide regarding my images and also to get a general health assessment using blood screening procedures per your orders. The nurse practitioner and PA were amazing. All the staff was polite and professional. It really sucked having covid during our vacation but the care we received as a family made us feel that we had a choice in our treatment plan. We were literally feeling great in 2 days! Thanks AFC staff!

I always have a positive experience at AFC. The staff is always friendly. And the doctors listens, are knowledgeable and give you the care you need quickly. Dr Melanie is wonderful, she always make you feel cared for. I had to come here 2 days in a row this month and they all took excellent care of me.

We walked in sick with no appointment. I was very happy that they did not require a covid test to get treatment. (Unlike my primary care clinic). It took only about an hour to be seen and they sent the perscription to the pharmacy. My son could not keep the medicaton down so I had to call and get it changed to a pill the next day. They were able to revise the perscription by the end of the work day even though they were short handed.

Extremely helpful.I went here with my wife for a USCIS physical and it was quick, organized and professional. The reason why I decided to take the time and write a review came after the original appointment, when my wifes physical report got lost in the mail (after we had received it from AFC) and mad us scramble to get another sealed envelope. After calling AFC and speaking with Jennafye, she and the doctor were able to reproduce the sealed envelope AND send it to us as we were not in Florida anymore. Extreme customer service and very pleasant to organize with. Thanks again!

This visit I had the fortunate experience of meeting Nurse practitioner Emily, German, Rebecca, and Erin. What an amazing team! Nurse Emily is so very capable of handling an acute situation. She is knowledgeable, and very capable of diagnosing the situation. German, Erin, and Rebecca, are a very kind,, compassionate team, always smiling and pleasant. I will continue to use their medical services. They are the best!

Out of state visitors with a very sick kid. Very long wait time to get in but we were able to leave during that time and get called when he could be seen. The care from the doctor and staff was incredible and my son was in such good hands. They even called the next day to check in on us. Highly recommend this urgent care. Would be even better if you could get in line from your phone but allowing us to leave and come back helped with that. Thanks!

I finally found a walk-in clinic that I will return to again when I need a doctor. Everyone was nice and helpful and caring. I was told the wait would be 60-90 minutes, but I got in, filled out minimal paperwork, got triaged, saw the nurse practitioner, received a valid diagnosis with treatment plan, and sent on my way within 1 hour and 10 minutes total (even with a full waiting room of people). By the time I got to my pharmacy, my prescription was waiting for me. When one of my symptoms wasnt addressed, Melanie came back in to address it with a viable explanation without me bringing it up again. I did not feel rushed at all and felt like each person involved in my care listened to what I was experiencing. I am looking forward to being on my way to feeling better. Oh, and the costs werent outrageous as Ive experienced elsewhere. Thats a plus! I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care Sarasota and will be back.Side note: I dont review very many places, so for me to take the time to write a review is a big deal. I definitely think this place is worth bragging about.

Every time I come to this location either for myself or for my daughter, the service is always so great and fast and I have never had to wait too long - i went to another urgent care center when my daughter was sick and they didn’t say much about it. A day or so later I brought her here and she had bilateral pneumonia and bronchitis (at 2 years old!) the staff did such a good job making my daughter feel safe during her chest X-ray and that is why I always come back here! And I always recommend it to people if they need an urgent care! Staff is so nice, I wish I remembered the nurses name!

Everyone is doing the best they can. Which is truly appreciated. Front desk staff needs to put a smile on their faces more often than not. Appear like you’re happy to be at work and happy to help everyone and anybody who walks in for help. Sometimes it feels like we’re inconveniencing you and that shouldn’t be. The wait time leaves much to be desired. It’s urgent care, so this is expected. Place is pretty clean. There’s two tier building with patient rooms upstairs. Parking is a bit too snuggled and very limited if parking in AFC. I believe there’s parking across the small street. Best times to be seen is mid days in my opinion. Overall, I’d recommend.

You were able to get us in and out without delay. This is where we go whenever we need the attention. Staff are friendly and the clinic is clean. 5 stars all the way. Well today is Sunday morning and at 8 AM I went to AFC urgent care in Sarasota, Erin The office manager was more than fabulous and was a pleasure to meet and Will and Grace were awesome as well. The doctor on duty was fabulous fix me right up. I was in and out in 30 minutes with no wait. They have an insurance plan now, for $79 a month for unlimited visits, bloodwork and all sorts other stuff great deal better than health insurance that’s for sure. It almost pays to get sick just to go over there and visit what a fabulous staff. I’ve been going there for years and it keeps on getting better and better keep up the great work

I have pretty bad health anxiety and sometimes find myself in places like this just because I talk myself into believing I need to go. The provider here was amazing as she was very sensitive to this. She sat and spoke with me and got my anxiety under control and when we did an EKG she had them do it 4 times because she wanted to make sure there were no artifacts on it that would get my anxiety up unnecessarily. Truly I am thankful for the visit today.

What a good experience! Elderly snow birds we had a medical situation . Had hear about AFC Urgent Care. We found the origination to be very professional. Everyone seemed to know their job. They addressed my wife’s medical needs and had us in & out in a very short period of time.Would highly recommend based upon our experience today!

This was my first visit, and I was very impressed. Jamie greeted me warmly and was quick and efficient. I was on a tight schedule, and the staff made sure my needs were met. I was treated with respect by very friendly people and never felt rushed. They put me at ease right from the start. I would highly recommend this urgent care.

Completely useless 3 hours at this place. Lots of admin and nurse’s assistants having fun and joking around while patients piled up. One competent certified nurse who ultimately was not able to get an IV line in and said just to go home. Go somewhere else

I have gone to AFC several times in the past few years. I find the staff attentive and the doctors really good and assuring. I would say the attention to my problem was excellent. AFC is certainly due for an upgrade to a nicer environment but the quality of care is uncompromised.

AFC Urgent Care is awesome. Couple weeks ago my daughter dislocated her elbow (ouch 😬), we went to AFC Clinic and we were super lucky to have Dr. Mara that day there. We very pleased with the whole process from we arrived at the reception desk registered my daughter as patient until we leave the urgent care. Dr. Mara and his staffs helped us every steps in the process, gave us full explanation about the options for my daughter? got my daughter elbow popped back in place. AFC office also called in couple days later to follow up and gave us another update from the review of X-Ray.I strongly recommend AFC Urgent Care. Big thanks to Dr. Mara and all staffs at AFC Urgent Care.

I love this urgent care! They are so kind and understanding of the fact that you are there not at your best. Ive taken my son there multiple times this last trip was on his birthday and Rebecca was so sweet in putting a little goodie box together for him to make it a happy trip instead of a scary trip! Rebecca and all the staff are top notch and my go to clinic!

My experience here on April 12, 2023 could not have been better. All the staff that I came in contact with were kind, friendly, and professional. They were Emily, Camilla, Will, and Christina. I received good advice and a very helpful immune supplement handout. I was very relieved after my visit and I would definitely recommend AFC.

My visit was very professionally handled. Once I completed the paperwork it was a matter of about 10 to 15 minutes before I was seen by the nurse and another 5 minutes after completing with her see the doctor.The doctor completed his examination gave me a diagnosis of bronchitis and prescribe some medication. This was all done and a little over an hour. Thank you for being there I appreciate everything you did.

Waiting time was shorter than given time and excellent treatment and follow-up. I am new to the area and do not have a family doctor yet. The doctor ensured I had a follow-up plan with her and AFC in case I did not feel better. I even received a phone call checking on me.

I was sick while on a week vacation in Siesta Key. I was able to walk in and be seen in the same morning. I was prescribed medications that immediately improved my condition. Two days later I received a follow up call asking how I was, if I was able to secure my medications and if I needed anything else. The service and follow up was excellent service that I much appreciated and needed while I was in Florida for a short time. Thank you AFC Urgent Care!!

I used this walk in clinic on November 27, one of the procedures I had done on that day making Ex Ray, I called the office yesterday asking about how I can got copy of my ex Ray the lady in the front desk told me you can stop by and we can print it out to you and also take a picture with your phone, I called again today, the lady in the front desk she said the same thing and she add also I will be able to get copy of CD with the picture,When I arrived there surprise non of the above they can provide as the Tech of ex Ray lady said except I can take picture with my phone to the ex Ray done from the computer.When I asked why you told me by phone I can have CD and paper print with the images, the 2 ladys at the front desk said we apologize, we didnt know we cant give it to you, we cant provide what we said yesterday and today.How this front desk ladys they are not professional, giving patients wrong information and it cames across in a rude way while they are talking, its ok they didnt know,I had to drive 2 hours, its wasting of time and unconvinced to go through that.Dr. Office should be fully qualified and professional to help patients.Professional place like this it should having a professional pepole to be in the front desk because they are representing this company/ office,The experience I had with this office its remarkableAction is required towards this.With this kind of experience I had, I will not be recommend this place

I accompanied a 92 year old friend with a possible wrist injury. It was patients first visit although I have been treated there before. Ruth was treated with respect throughout the hour + with physician Dr Mara and techs Gigi and Christina.I was especially impressed with receptionist Angie. Although the patient has some memory issues Angie made sure to address her and not me. Check in and check out was quick, professional and friendly. Angie is an asset to this location and your company. Thanks again.

So I specifically picked this place to go to because they said they did routine blood work and blood panels. Ive had the flu for about a month and was wanting to get some routine blood work to make sure theres nothing more serious.going on. Online it says they do this in house and get the results right then. Well thats apparently not true. They only offer covid testing and drug testing, it has to be before 12pm and it takes 3 to 4 days. Thanks for wasting severals of my time. Please update your website.

Not exactly Urgent care. Plan on waiting NO MATTER WHAT it is. Cut my finger the other day. Bad enough to need stitches. But not an emergency. Showed up with a paper towel keeping the wound from bleeding. Was told it was a 2 hour wait. Wasnt offered a better bandage nothing. Was just told by the sassy front desk lady its a 2 hour wait. Even the people in the waiting room gasped and asked why I wouldnt be helped. The sassy lady did nothing to help. Just kept telling me it was 2 hours and I was free to go somewhere else. I was very calm. Didnt not get mad or raise my voice to deserve the sassy responses and no help. Left and went to the Sarasota Memorial urgent care and got right in. Only needed 7 stitches ultimately. Just wanted to share so no one in the future mistakes this place for an URGENT care.

I posted in the past about this location and it was a very positive review as my visit there was very good. That visit was within a couple of weeks of purchasing the membership. Everything and I mean EVERTYING has gone completely wrong with this office . I put blame square in the management of this place as their hiring choices are pure garbage ...Just about all of the people who used to work there are gone and have been replaced by a bottom of the barrel staff. Complete lack of training , basic interpersonal skills and seeming aversion to work. The front desk during the week is handed by teenagers with a chip on their shoulder and a very loose understanding of their job. That is topped by the poorly aged blond with who is there on weekends and clearly gives you an impression she does not want to be there and and since she is she takes liberty of calling paying patients ignorant. When one confronts such an outfit it is hard to decide where to begin. From prescribing wrong amount of the medication, to the nurse practitioner with an aloof attitude refusing to perform the simplest of the tasks by saying she is not comfortable on numerous occasions when tasks were simple in nature and only laziness or complete lack of training could explain it.This part is for you gents and ladies of that office. I will post and continue posting on any and every review site i can find . Perhaps then it will get the attention of the management so all of you can find jobs that you are better suited for. Clearly not all of you are implicated in this review and many other bad reviews on this forum.

I went here to get a physical for my daughter. It was a very efficient process in which we had never done it before. Everyone was very friendly and their pricing is very fair. I got there as soon as they opened and we were out within the hour. They are very thorough and make you feel like the only patient in the building. I highly recommend AFC Urgent care for everything!

Victoria was amazing. Everyone should go see her. Life is better after her help!!

Rebecca was extremely nasty and unhelpful. I called ahead of time and explained the situation before I got there that we just moved here and I have not received the card for his new insurance plan and asked if she accepted it. She said yes so I rushed to go in. When I got there she said if I didn’t have the card my son couldn’t be seen, I explained I called before I got here . Managed to pull it up on the website for her and she still refused to see him even after going through the hassle of creating the portal to show her that he was active. Said he can only be seen if he is self pay. There was a blasting tv with Sesame Street playing (at first I thought it was my kids tablet and asked them to lower it) , she actually said on her own “oh it’s our tv and it needs to stay on that volume “it was extremely overwhelming the whole experience and even more so because I could tell she didn’t want to take care of us due to it being 45 min before closing time. I’m sorry but in all fairness to patient quality assurance someone who treats people in the manner we were treated tonight should not be treating patients , she should not be the face of the practice “welcoming patients”. And I’m sure the tv didn’t need to be on high volume blast or even on that close to closing time if it was causing more stress in an already stressful situation. I hope the owners see this and have a firm conversation with her. It would’ve been super convenient to be able to be seen there in the future and extremely local, but I’d rather drive out of my way to go to a diff office with better customer service.

This was insane, i’ve never waited this long at an urgent care with a very sick toddler.i’m not from this area we’re on vacation.Pre registration isn’t an appointment, at this point it’s the same as a walk in cause you’re waiting no less than an hour to be seen. it’s 10am on a tuesday.I’m not the only one with preregistration waiting for more than an hour either.

I went in initially for stitches and they were very attentive but asked me to schedule a follow up the next day. When I went in for the follow up, the receptionist was exceptionally rude and deserving of negative stars, then told me to pay for the bandage change before being treated. I have been an executive administrator in healthcare for 20 years and if any of my employees had demonstrated similar customer service the entire staff would have been walked out the back door.

The team was very efficient and knowledgeable. It was a scary situation and they handled it professionally and everyone was friendly and made us feel comfortable. My daughter had an asthma attack and we were glad they were able to help us. Great team!!

This urgent care is incredible!!! They got me in super fast, were able to get all the testing and labs I needed done with upfront transparent pricing (pricing is literally on the door in the office — loved this!!), and with great customer care & customer service. Never did they have an attitude or treat me poorly or like I was just a number like others I’ve been to in the past; I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend AFC Urgent Care!! ❤️

I was in a car accident early that morning and through my employer they had me immediately go to AFC to be checked by the Dr for any injuries. The whole staff was very kind and considerate. They took the time to ask all the right questions. I had to return a couple times and they showed the consistency of the first visit. Convenient location and no appointment is needed!

Service was quick.I removed one star because the place needs a little TLC. Driving up I felt nervous because the place seemed sketchy. The lobby looked a little better, good lighting and some updates. The bathroom felt like a gas station bathroom. I was shocked. I was only there for a drug screen for a new job so I didn’t see any other areas. I would not come back to this location for any medical needs that would require any tools. I’m sure everything is sanitized and up to par, but it’s true that looks matter and with the place not looking it’s best I’m leery of things unseen as well.

So kind & so wonderful in helping to make me feel better!I was checked for a few things & helped with pneumonia & another referral. Thank you to ,lEmily, Cristina, Becca & the new X-ray technician! I have recommended this clinic to so many! I am grateful for the care & kindness you all provided to me!

We were out of town and needed urgent care for my young daughter. I was nervous to go somewhere we werent familiar with since we were so far from home, but AFC was great! All of the staff was so wonderful with my daughter (receptionist, nurses, doctor) and made us feel very comfortable. They were attentive to her and our concerns, and were thorough and professional!

I never had a bad experience...i can not name one excellent staff member because theyre all incredibly kind. The physicians are the best as well especially Dr. Eric B... Thank you so very much........i hope i dont have to go to AFC anytime soon but if so i will.always go there you are all truly the best....i have to add emily and rebecca....not that i enjoy going but when i have to use urgent care i know i am treated with complete respect...compassion and awesome care. This IS the best walk in clinic with the best staff in sarasota....thank you all so very much

This was my first visit to AFC Urgent Care in Sarasota, FL. I sought medical treatment on a Friday evening at around 6pm and was pleasantly surprised with the prompt service. I was examined by Dr. Melanie. I was extremely satisfied with Dr. Melanie’s efficient and thorough assessment of my symptoms, including testing and quick results in-office. Dr. Melanie prescribed me adequate medication and offered recommendations for any subsequent treatment I might need to get well. Thanks.

I was a walk-in for the clinic with a bad rash. The check-in procedure was really easy — I could have done it at home and next time I will!NOTE: if you check in online, your wait time will me lower!As it was, the check in procedure let me know exactly when I would be called back (within one minute!). As it was, the wait wasn’t long at all. I was treated well and with good attitudes and pleasant employees.It went really smoothly.

I was very pleased with my visit here this morning. The staff was efficient and friendly. Melanie was great, very professional, calm and nice, which you appreciate when not feeling well. The test results came back quickly which I appreciated. I will recommend this clinic to friends and family. Thank you!

The staff was very positive. They werent like other places where they just throw cuffs on you slap a thermometer in your mouth and tell you to go sit and wait for the doc. They actually care doctor listened very well and she was very pleasant. I cant choose just one the whole staff was excellent.

Walk in - no appointments!!! They book your appointments, but they don’t follow the times they give you. It’s a walk in clinic like any other and you are helped in the order you arrive, what is fine, but you get there expecting to be helped at your appointment time and after 2 hours you are still waiting

Jamie at the front desk is truly the epitome of wonderful. She genuinely wanted to help me and make sure everything I needed was taken care of. Unlike most urgent care facilities, I was treated with respect from the staff and my needs were met. I am so happy that I used AFC and will 100% use it again if I have the need to. AFC, especially Jamie, is a wonderful rarity.

Dr Eric Buete is an amazing doctor! Great staff, professional and compassionate. He actually listens, unlike our pediatrician who ignored me when i explain my concerns regarding my daughter (thats why i ended up at the urgent care, due to ignorance and misdiagnosis from our pediatrician, which couldve been avoided ). Thanks to Dr. Eric my daughter felt better the same day. If something comes up again, I know where to go!My second experience with them was also amazing! I needed a physical and TB blood test (quantiferon) for a new job. Everything was fast and amazing just like the first time. Danny did my blood draw and it was the best experience of my life. I am a very hard stick so there is always an issue when I need blood work. Usually it takes hours and several people. Danny got me from the first try and within minutes and zero pain I was done! Doctor was amazing! Those doctors need to start a family practice, I would chose them as my PCP without even thinking. Staff is always professional, kind, skilled and they ALWAYS listen to your concerns.Had to take my daughter to the clinic several times in the past few weeks. As always ,great experience! Cant thank them enough!

My recent visit was one of the best visits I have had in years to a doctors office. Melanie Wilhelm went above and beyond for me. I was there to see her twice, once to find out I have bronchitis and another to do a follow-up. Already felt better after two days of my treatment and she helped me with another issue Ive been trying to resolve for years. Thank you Melanie for taking the time to listen to me and for getting me better. Definitely would recommend this place to family and friends.

What a great walk-in clinic! They were so busy but very efficient and got everyone seen by a doctor very quickly. My doctor was knowledgeable and helpful. He knew exactly what was wrong. The nurse and office staff were also great and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend that they do a bit of painting and cleaning because the examination room had an area of large paint scratches. The best part of this clinic is that they are so transparent with their pricing! They have a list for self pay posted right in the waiting room. This is definitely going to be my new choice of clinic.

I went toAFC with a very traumatic finger injury. My experience from walking in the front door, to leaving was very impressive. The ladies on staff there are extremely pleasant, and you can see they genuinely care about their patients, (keep in mind this was a Sunday as well). Emily Walters stood out to me the most as she was very compassionate, and helped make an extremely unpleasant procedure be the best it could. Emily is an extremely talented individual, and it is because of this she saved my finger. There is a definite positive culture at AFC, and Im confident all the ladies there have bright futures ahead!

A+ staff. Thank you for making my visit seamless. They were understanding and patient and quick. Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling so great to pick up on names, but every team member on my 8/23/23 visit was superb.

I was very pleased with my experience at AFC while on vacation in Florida.It was easy to make an appointment, and I was seen without any delay when I arrived. Dr. Mara was very professional and courteous. After my examination, he was able to schedule me for a CT scan within a few hours. Although the results of my CT scan were not what I had hoped for, Dr. Mara reviewed the results in a timely manner and advised me on the next steps to receive care so I could return home quickly to start treatment.

Went immediately to AFC Urgent Care after receiving a dog bite. I felt they were very attentive,thorough, and informative. When I returned for the follow-up, the wound was healing. I recommend this group for your urgent care needs.

I took my son here and saw Dr. Buete. She is fantastic! She listened to me, thoroughly assessed my son and provided me reassurance that I needed. It is stressful having a sick kid while on vacation but I am thankful to have found this place. The office also called several times to check on my son as well. Overall wonderful experience. I will recommend this little gem to all of my friends from here. Thank you again Dr. Buete and staff for being so awesome.

I have a chronic health condition, and it was really bad so I went here and Tiffany, Erin and Lexy were very nice and understanding, sometimes the doctors will blow you off, but not here they listened and did some testing. Very good service and kind people.
