She has publicly ridiculed me in public for my drug addiction, using derogatory terms like crackhead and junkie. Additionally, I have witnessed her using drugs off duty and allowing others to do so in the bathrooms at her workplace.Planned Parenthood stands with individuals facing addiction, and this behavior is completely contradictory to your organizations values. This is a serious matter that needs to be addressed promptly.Thank you for your attention.Sincerely,

This is the worst location ever. They have me on the phone for 1 hour for 3 people to keep coming to the phone, asking the same questions then putting you in hold. There is no organization at this location. They don’t communicate with eachother. Why is it that 3 people don’t know when they placed someone on hold and haven’t returned back to the line. The doctor is also the worst. Yasmin I think her name is. Had an appointment with her in which she never showed up for even though I have the confirmation for the appointment. They is why I’m waiting an hour now on the line waiting for the 3 people who answered to get back on the line. Worst location everrrr !!!!!!

The worst medical experience of my life. I went in for an IUD insertion, which I have had done before with a previous provider with no problems whatsoever. Cindy was the doctor who did the procedure. It was EXCRUTIATING. She had to attempt to do the procedure twice. I was in absolute agony. During her second attempt, she told me that she had to ask someone what to do. So she got up and futzed around on the computer for several minutes before LEAVING THE ROOM ENTIRELY to make a phone call. Meanwhile, Im laying on the table with medical instruments still inside me, crying because the pain was so bad. I assumed she was bringing someone into the room for a second opinion, but nope...she was literally phoning a friend because she had no idea what she was doing. After she was gone for at least five minutes, I couldnt take the pain anymore and started yelling Hello? Hello? for SOMEONE to come help me. After a while a nurse finally came in and I begged her to just stop everything, take it all out. She then left the room to go find the damn doctor. They came back in and the nurse held my hand and rubbed my head while Cindy removed all the instruments she had left inside me while she called whoever it was she was calling. After she was done, the nurse went to go get me a bottle of water, while Cindy stood by the computer, laughed, and said It looks like an IUD isnt for you! I was in so much pain, I felt humiliated and exposed, and I got dressed as fast as I could and practically ran out of the office. I sobbed the whole way home. I was in so much pain I ended up calling out of work the next day and spent the whole day in bed with a heating pad on. I have had an IUD inserted before. Ive had an HSG procedure before. Ive had a cervical biopsy before. NOTHING hurt the way this did. And when I called to tell them what happened and basically BEG for something to alleviate the pain, I was told that I would have to come back for another evaluation before they would do anything for me. Well, that ended that conversation immediately. I will never go back here. I cant condemn Planned Parenthood as a whole, because I know they do so much good for womens healthcare. But my experience here with Cindy was horrific and I would never recommend this place just because of her. She clearly had no idea what she was doing, and then had the nerve to make a joke out of it while I was sitting there, in pain and crying. Its now two days later, and I am STILL in pain. Truly just an awful experience.

My significant other went in to get an IUD insertion and the entire experience was very positive for the both of us. On my end, while I did feel very alone I suppose waiting for the insertion to be over and done with, the seating was comfortable and the lobby was as nice as a local medical facility can have. The people at the desk really care about confidentiality on the end of the patient, so while my inability to be more involved in the check-in/insertion itself was something that disappointed both myself and my significant other, it is nice to see that this place respects HIPPA to the upmost extent. On top of that, the insertion itself was facilitated by a kind staff and determined doctors. My significant other reported that the nurse that asked her questions beforehand was very kind and not at all judgmental. On top of this, the doctor herself that inserted the IUD was also very friendly with my significant other. They offered her pain medication, comfort, and tried to ease her the best they could into the operation itself. The insertion took about 40 minutes, which is not common for anyone wondering, but it was because my significant other was unable to have the IUD inserted without a significant amount of effort. Far from being a horror story though, the doctor did not give up and worked very very hard in order to get the insertion to be a success, which it was. On the day after, my significant other reported that her pain was simply cramps that were less painful than her period, despite the abnormally arduous insertion process. The front desk was also very helping when it came to payment and the FPBP, which allowed for the whole visit to be free. This place gave my significant other an experience without judgment, with comfort and ease, and with a dedication to patient services. We could not be more happy with the service received and we have absolutely no complaints. To anyone wondering if they should get an IUD, and especially if youre wondering if this is the right place to get one, then their FPBP access and patient services all point to the answer being yes!

The medical staff are kind and patient when answering questions. They addressed my concerns, talked to me like a real person, made sure I was calm during my visits, and took their time to make sure I understood my options as well as what was happening. I felt at ease and respected in a way that I dont usually get at doctors offices.I honestly wish every medical office I had to go to was like this place.The only downside is the wait time, but thats the sacrifice for patients to be cared for as people instead of fifteen minute blocks, I will take a wait for actual quality care every time.

I love the staff here. every single one of the staffs are so kind and respectful and care so much about your health! i went in today for an IUD. My doctor Natalie was amazing. She was so sweet and helpful. she definitely helped me calm down. Its very nerve-wracking experience but it was all worth it at the end.

One of the most unprofessional places…this is about setting up a 20 mins pre screening with Jennifer L. Aurelio. On Monday 02-20-23 we had an interview at 2:30pm, she was 30 mins late never called to tell me what happened. So I emailed her and reiterated how excited I was about the job opportunity. She apologizes and claims she double booked an interview. I said I understood and we scheduled another pre-screening interview for that Thursday 02-23-23 at 12pm. Once again, I never received a call until two hours later from the time that the interview were supposed to start. I didn’t pick up the call because I’m not that desperate for a job and it showed me alot about this company but I was excited about this job. Such a disappointment. That is completely unprofessional, and it shows that they do not respect your time. Jennifer L. Aurelio should not be giving prescreening interviews because she is unprofessional, unorganized and it obvious. You miss out on good worker like this.

By far the best experience Ive had getting reproductive care- and THE CLEANEST office Ive ever seen! (FINALLY....why are most offices so bad at this?!)Trans-inclusive, used my correct pronouns and name as asked, didnt make me feel rushed. They definitely take a person-centered approach, ensuring I understood what they were doing, what my prescription options were, and everyone was just SO CHILL! Got in and out of my appointment with very little wait time.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The nurses and the front desk girls are amazing. They made me feel so comfortable with everything and made my hard day feel a lot better. These people are angels!!! Forever grateful for them and the experience I was able to have with just their empathy.

I would give a 5 but I have to give a 1 because one doctor made my experience super negative lol kinda of ironic actually. I went in 2 weeks ago to confirm if I needed to do an unfortunate termination. I was helped by the front staff when I came in who were very nice. Then brought to the back to go into the room. The MA was super nice and explained every detail of what I needed to do. Then came the physician with an assistant who was shadowing I’m guessing.I was asked a series of questions which I had answered “No” to. Mind you I went in there, hormonal because I confirmed I was pregnant, I have chronic depression and anxiety on top of it, and I was going to do a termination that I have to live with for the rest of my life. After asking me the series of questions I had answered no to in regards to termination, he asked me in a sarcastic and rude demeanor “why are you so negative?!”. At that point I was so shocked I didn’t know how to even answer and threw my hands up and shrugged and replied “well…. I mean….” Then he continued to ask me if I was sure this was something I wanted to do. Then proceeded. I almost felt rushed and I felt like he just wanted to be in and out in 5 minutes because it was the end of the day.To be honest, had he been mindful he is working in a OBGYN that realistically specializes in terminations or family planning, and was a little more empathetic I wouldn’t have an issue but this guy was just straight up rude and doesn’t belong in an office like this. I never write reviews unless I truly feel like my review will make a difference somehow. This physician needs to go. The rest of the staff even my follow up visit was wonderful everyone else is great. Please be mindful who you hire in places like this when all us women need is support no matter what the situation is. Maybe I was just hormonal I’m not sure but either way… he needs to be evaluated.

Absolutely horrible. Came early for my appointment, had to wait over 30 minutes and then they canceled with no notification or any reason why and then to reschedule they asked a ton of invasive questions that are NOT required for any service I wanted from them and insisted on getting the info even though I called them out on it. They NEVER denied that the info was not required, completely unprofessional behavior, a rock would provide better service.

They are obviously taking a look at bad reviews and are working on there short comings. I had a great experience which is nothing like what I am reading. Staff was courteous and the wait wasn’t long at all (I had an appointment and was seen by the doctor within a half hour). I went for a routine exam and the doctor was thorough. She answered any and all questions I had with care and no shaming. Highly recommended location.

Everyone in this place was incredible. They were so kind and amazing I don’t even have words. They made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and safe. This was the best place I could have went to for something that was so difficult. They made my experience there something I won’t forget. I will never be able to thank them enough for how absolutely amazing they were. I’m running out of adjectives to explain how superb every single person I came in contact with was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all made a difficult day bearable.

This office is a nightmare that will not end. After countless times they consistently screw up my prescription on a monthly basis I switched doctors. I called them, told them I am switching doctors, no need to continue filling my prescription and they continue to fill it.Their teleprompter service is 50% of the reason I left this office. Calling and speaking to someone is a pain when you have to wait on hold for an hour or two.Seriously I cant say I have ever hated a doctors office as much as this place, its a joke being run by clowns.When I called and tried to get my prescription issue fixed (which I had to do on a monthly basis) Jar Jar Joanne ended up blaming both myself and the pharmacy for the issue, basically gaslighting me over the phone.

The receptionist Marca ( I think I spelt her name wrong) is the sweetest receptionist I have ever dealt with!! I had issues with prescriptions I needed and she helped me through it all and booked me an online appointment to assist further. I could feel her empathy and she seriously deserves a promotion or a raise, I cant thank her enough for literally saving me SO much money & time & anxiety!!! I cannot say enough good things about her!

I made an appointment and I sat and waited for 3.5 hrs. So really making an appointment means absolutely nothing! This happened before but I waited an hour past my appointment time. All I was told was “sorry Saturday’s are always backed up” Staff yourselves better or do not allow appointments to be made if you know you’re not going to be able to fulfill them!

I had a great experience at this location. I was supposed to be there from 3-6 hours i was there for only 2 hours. The receptionist, MA, nurses and the doctor were amazing.

If you are even 1 or 2 minutes past their 15 mins late poIicy they will not accept you. I arrived 2 mins late & they would not let me in to my appointment. Another time: I called & was told they could not give me an appointment but I had till 4pm to be accepted as a walk in client. I arrived at 3:30pm & was told they were no longer taking walk ins & that the waiting room was already at capacity. Meanwhile the person I had spoken to on the phone at 3:00 pm said it would be fine to come in as a walk-in patient. Also the previous time I did actually have an appointment & was seen I was given a 1pm appointment & I waited 2 hours in the lobby & over another 45 mins for the clinician to come in. By the time I left it was 4:45pm. Don’t waste your time going here, the staff just cares about talking amongst each other & eating snacks & getting out of the office on time. The disorganization & wait times at this office are beyond rodiculous. If you can just go to the West Islip office instead (they at least see patients in a timely manner)!

Its been years since Ive been to this planned Parenthood and it seemed to have a huge upgrade. The receptionist and the nurses were very kind and answered any questions I asked, the lobby was spacious with multicolored carpet and seats with televisions.

I had a really nice visit here, yes I had to wait a little to get in my appt was at 940 and they saw me around 1015 which I really dont think is bad for a Drs office. My only real complaint would be that they cant give sonograms unless its preceeding an abortion, now it turned out that I didnt need a sono so in the end it really didnt effect me. All in all though the staff was really sweet and helpful and they made me comfortable and took me seriously, the doctor really listened to me and didnt seem to mind taking the time to answer all of my questions in depth.

I would’ve given this clinic 4 stars because everyone was so nice at my appt but since they NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES, making them unreliable, I’m forced to give them 1 star . I need 2 prescriptions, for some reason my pharmacy only received one . I’ve been trying to get into contact with them so they can send over the other prescription. Unfortunately, not one department is answering . I’ve called and hung up to dial in for different departments, no answer. I can’t imagine this location is so busy that nobody is ever able to answer the phone. Not to mention I actually had to call another location to even get an appointment with this location.In hindsight, if you don’t think you’ll need to contact your provider then fine go here but if you need to get into contact with them then this isn’ the location to go to.

I called in 1 week in advance for my appointment and they had the date right but not the location or the time correct. They are also extremely late your apartment could be at 1:30 and the doctor would conect in Telebusiy at 2:20 super late very unreliable

The Doctor Is Great, But There Is an Hour To Two Hour Wait. Whats The Purpose Of Making An Appointment For 1:30pm, If Your Not Going To Be Seen Until One Hour To Two Hours Later. Lastly, Receptionist With Glasses Has An Attitude Problem.

I would give them a 0. They make you wait around, the doctor was cold and mean towards me while I was very upset. On top of that they called in the wrong birth control and when I called for them to call in the right one, the woman on the phone argued with me and told me I was wrong. Don’t go here. You’ll regret it. They’re heartless and argumentative. TERRIBLE experience.

Inconsiderate with time , had me waiting over 6 hours for a 5-10 minute procedure.

I called to make an appointment and because I didnt know the specific medical term for the problem I was experiencing, he made me feel like an idiot and would not make an appointment.. suggested I called somewhere else. I am pregnant so the problem I am experiencing is a baby growing inside of me! I wanted to make whatever appointment a first-time mother would make! Thanks for nothing, Ill go elsewhere..

If I could give them no stars thats what I would do. Ive been here twice and its always an hour plus wait with only 4 people in the waiting room. Then as youre waiting theyre walking around eating and chatting. In all honesty I would much rather stick with the West Islip branch.

Dont go hea ever !!!!!!!!! I had a surgical done hea I had a 850 app went hea then finally got in the back took the misoprostol and got on the table and after that it was a living nightmare .the doctor didnt have enough sedition and as I am staring at them in fear they said just do it I couldnt have it done I couldnt handle a 15 speculum and had to leave by ambulance to stoney brook which needless to say they had no idea what the hell was going on Noone can speak English nore understand me I couldnt take it anymore I took my own iv out and left and on my way home went to a different hospital where I had a miscarriage. .. if you have a death wish go there if you wanna live and have a safe surgery go any place else but there the doctors are to busy stuffing there faces with the patients snacks they give in recovery and magically everyone else was well sedited cause they where throwing up and sleeping in recovery . While I was screaming crying and on my way in a amb to the hospital cause there a bunch of clueless idiots who could have killed me .

Avoid going here or expect to cancel all of ur plans for the day & wait over 7 hours plus! My friends appt was for 11am and she got out at 8:45 pm. Trust me, go somewhere else and find another place!! They lie to you about times and aren’t straightforward with their procedures. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!

So if I could give no stars I would apon coming In I had my child and mom with me they told me they can’t come in and even though I have a COVID shots I needed a mask as an asthmatic with copd it’s hard enough to breathe let alone breathe with a mask anyway my appointment was a scary appointment as it is I’m testing for cirvix cancer I am learning disabilities I have panic disorder and other thingsand my mom helps me understand she also needs to here drs to know what’s going on and they would not let her and my son in I’m sorry but sometimes people need to have certain people with them when making the appointment they should have mentioned that no one was allowed in but the patient I would of went els where cuz it’s not right when people are here for an appointment naturally it can be scary and having a family member should be ok as well as ur children

Incompetent and rude doctors went in for a removal of ectopic pregnancy and according to my other doctor they pushed the embryo up gave up and gave me an iud I didn’t ask for that is now infected and told me they didn’t do the procedure . The whole building and staff is a joke and can cause serious problems in the future river head is a much better facility with doctors that can read

Thè worst place on the planet. Please dont go here or bring anyone you know here. Over 7 hour wait and my fiance had the worst experiance of her life. I really hope the decommission this place. So very very disorganized

Sorry about the mean review lol. To be honest the original issue was mostly my fault, also, all the ladies here are very nice and helpful, and earnestly do their absolute best.

Clean and comfortable facility. Knowledgeable, kind, and comforting staff. Entrance around back so protestors can be easily avoided.

It wasnt a bad experience and doctors and nurses the technical support were all very nice and helpful.
