My recent visit (July 2024) went very well. There was no one else in the waiting area, so I was called back right away. The doctor came in to see me as soon as the nurse had finished the preparatory questions and exam (blood pressure, temperature, etc.). In total, the entire appointment only took about 15 minutes and I left with a prescription to treat my ailment.Of course, I acknowledge that other folks experience will vary depending on how busy the office is - Ive visited in the past and had to wait awhile to be seen. But this most recent visit deserves 5 stars.

I will not be returning here. I’ve been here twice and each time I felt I was treated differently than the people I came with. I wanted to get retested to see if the medications had worked. I was lectured about waiting longer but never once said to me she wasn’t going to send out my test. I waited every day for my results and finally called out of anxiety only to find out they never sent it out. When I spoke to the nurse or doctor was not helpful. She was clearly uninterested in helping and only further pushing that “she told me.” The insensitivity and lack of care is the reason I will never return here

The office staff was kind and really took their time. They were training new employees and were kind to them as well. The provider was knowledgeable and really helped explain things to my daughter. The office was clean and with an appointment there was very little waiting.

Very responsive, thorough and friendly customer focused care. I came in on a Saturday evening in rough shape and left with a thorough diagnosis 2 chest xrays and scripts to deal with my pneumonia. Its now Thursday my fever is gone my appetite returned I am sleeping 100 percent better, working through my antibiotics, and definitely heading towards a full recovery. Thank you Christin Wolfram, C Chisley-Pittman, the front office team, and radiology staff!

Ive previously had good care at this location, even though it is busy and sometimes I end up waiting an hour past the estimated time I book online ahead of time. However yesterday I believe the busyness of the clinic caused my exam to be rushed and my pneumonia diagnosis to be missed. The PA who saw me was dismissive and condescending, told me that pneumonia cannot be contagious (a family member recently had difficult -to-diagnose atypical pneumonia and coughed on and at me for a full week before being on antibiotics), and that my symptoms had not started long enough ago for me to have pneumonia: it takes 2 weeks to develop pneumonia. She prescribed Albuterol and told me to come back in two weeks if I wasnt better! I cried in the office and on the way home, knowing something just wasnt right.I visited a different urgent care location the next day and the PA there immediately heard crackling in my lung, was able to diagnose the pneumonia even without ordering an X-ray (which they had on site - the Inova urgent care does not have an X-ray on site), and got me in and out with a script in about a half hour total.Normally I would not fault a medical professional for missing a diagnosis (its an art as much as a science!), but in this case the PA was in such a hurry I dont think she even listened to my lungs properly - she certainly didnt listen to me as a patient. This urgent care location has obviously been very busy and Im sympathetic in general and dont mind long wait times to be seen, but in this case I truly believe the care I received was compromised as a result

I went after a big fall and injured my arm, which probably would require x-rays for a proper diagnosis. I informed the check in desk of my injuries. I was seen very quickly, but then told by the provider that they didnt have an xray tech available and Id have to drive to another location. With a probable broken arm or at least severly sprained dominant arm, this was not very convenient. I should have been told upon check-in, so I could make a decision and go somewhere else for treatment. I like this office, but that was super annoying. Signage about x-ray service availability should be posted.

Ive been here several times and have always found the staff friendly, helpful and very professional. The doctors and practitioners make a point of listening to the patient and encourage questions and clarification. The wait time is usually very reasonable as well.

I felt horrible when I arrived and from the moment I walked in, the staff were very professional and kind. The young lady at the desk, the nurse taking my throat swab to the PA or NP who came in last, all were wonderful. I have already recommended this particular Urgent Care to neighbors and fellow teachers at school. I have records with Inova, it was centrally located and knew it had better ratings than other Urgent Care offices closer to work or home.

I did not have to wait at all. The nurse listened to my symptoms and they would help me feel better soon. The provider did a great job of explaining what was going on and gave me a prescription for an antibiotic. After only two doses, I was feeling better

I hesitated to just drop because of previous long waits but the automated check in at another center was so daunting and frustrating, to the point of not accepting my primary care doctors name, even within the INova system etc. that I decided to take my chances here. From the beginning everyone at this center was so very helpful. I was seen quickly by a technician in training followed by a quick check by a member of the medical staff, Christin Wolfram, to confirm the treatment, the full fledged medical technician assisted by the medical technician-in training immediately set to provide the treatment I needed, results verified by the Ms. Wolfram and I was out of there with my hearing restored. Ms. Wolfram and the two technicians were tops in terms of their bed-side-manner and caring for me as their patient. I think I may have been there about an hour start to finish and it was by far one of my best experiences with the INova system

Its a blessing of having urgent care available in this area when the hospital is far away. The doctors and staff are wonderful. I have never had issues of coming here for the past few years (appointments and walk-ins) despite the fact that there are times of waiting long because of the fact that they are busy. Perhaps they need to have an additional PA or doctor for this clinic to manage the demands.Todays wait before seen by the nurse practitioner is 1 hour and 26 minutes for 3 minutes. Waited another 20 minutes for the nurse to bring the med. Another 23 minutes for discharge. The total time in the clinic is over 2 hours.There are a couple of times to include today that their system is down. This is unacceptable for medical services. Spend the money to transition to cloud base to prevent this kind of interruptions.

I had positive experiences at this urgent care in the past, but not during todays visit. The website says that x-rays are available at this location but in another place says they are limited--I did not understand that they werent available at all. I was seen quickly in the middle of the day for a respiratory infection but needed a chest x-ray as the NP said she wasnt allowed to prescribe an antibiotic with confirming an infection --even though I was sick and knew the type of bacteria I had been exposed to. (She also said that the type of infection my daughter tested positive for wasnt in our area even though it is and our pediatrician confirmed it the same day via bloodwork.) She said I would have had to go to an Inova HealthPlex in Lorton or Springfield for an x-ray due to a nationwide staffing shortage of radiology staff. I would then have to wait for her to get the results to make a diagnosis, contact me, and possibly write a prescription in the 4 hours before they closed. Save your time and the co-pay (which they are quick to collect) and go to Patient First in Fairfax. I went to Patient First, received a chest x-ray, saw a physician, and was treated within an hour. Inova, at the very least, should post a sign at the front desk alerting patients if x-ray services are unavailable.

Cut my thumb when preparing a meal. I used a pressure bandage for an hour, but it didnt stop bleeding so off I went to Urgent Care. I was seen quickly and Dr. Lyons was able to close the cut with dermabond. Patched up and on my way!

The receptionists are all great but not a provider.I have never seen a bossy, unkind, and untherapeutic provider like her. My friend left the clinic with anger and frustration. If you look for a caring provider, do not go here.

This has been the fourth time my family and I have been treated for illness/injury at the West Springfield office on Rolling Rd. The front desk response has always been friendly and prompt. The medical staff is friendly, listens carefully for understanding and is thorough in their exam. So far each experience has been good and well continue to go there for local treatment.

I got to Inova-GoHealth around 9:40 on a Sunday morning. They opened at 9:00 am and I was a walk-in. They were very helpful on where to sign in. I was given an 11:10 appointment but was taken back within the next hour and seen. I was out of there with a prescription sent to my pharmacy and left the pharmacy with prescriptions in hand at 11:10. So thankful to have that facility as close as it is and I’ve always had a good experience there. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the doctors and NP/PAs are knowledgeable and helpful. 5 out of 5 stars!

2nd visit now that my 5yr old had to do strep throat test twice because they see a negative result and they think the first person that did it was in training and maybe it wasnt done well. Horrible to put kids thru that for training. At least have the trainer in the room to help while it’s happening.

Little bit of a wait, more than expected but understandable for only one receptionist- and it was great because she knew I wouldve needed to give a urine sample so she let me do that in advance to makes things quicker. Once I got called back it was so quick and easy and my sample had already been examined and Ive never gotten an antibiotic prescription so seamlessly. Everyone is super friendly, reasonable, and considerate. Definitely one of the best medical experiences Ive had; cheap and very accessible, with great service. 10/10!

If you can go somewhere else, do so. The staff were nice and the facility was clean. But they were more concerned with my co pay fee then actually helping me. I honestly felt like a number and not a patient. The nurse listened to my chest for 30 secs. Didnt seem interested in what I was telling her as far as my symptoms were concerned. Wrote the quickest prescription Id ever gotten. They ran not a single test of any kind. I immediately left their office to go to the pharmacy next door...it was closed for the day. I am left with no meds, and no answers. But I am still struggling to breathe. I have a wheezing wet cough that can be uncomfortable and uncontrollable at times. That was a waste of 2 hours and a waste of $37.

Walking in was a Breeze. Signing in was easy. Since I have been too a Inova Facility Before it brought up my current records and Insurance Info. They Still need your Cards, So Do Not Forget them.They tell you they have or need info, then you sit and wait. It was only minutes before my name was called. They explain what they are going to do, take you Blood pressure and other vital signs. Then the Doctor or Nurse Practitioner comes in and checks you out. Be Warned Sometimes the Process will take time.

I have to say, of late when interacting with medical personnel at other facilities That those interactions have been subpar. But, this reminded me of how I felt treated back 30 years ago.

The staff was wonderful. Both employees were very friendly and professional. Very helpful. My only negative comment is that the public should know in advance that you are going to be seen by a nurse practitioner and not a doctor. I drove past my primary doctor office and to your facility because I wanted to be seen by a doctor. I didnt want to create any issues with your staff. If we are charged for a physician visit, we should be able to consult with a physician. Thank you

I had been going here since this location opened, as it’s in my neighborhood. However, this place has gone downhill since GoHealth took over. One visit, I was sent home before my test results were available because the physician/ NP was so sure that she knew what was going on. I’m sure my insurance was billed in full for a half-a** visit. Last night was the final straw for me. I brought my child in as a walk-in at 7:40. They close at 8. We were turned away. There was nothing in writing that indicates they stop taking walk-ins at a certain time. I took my child to Patient First the next day. It turns out she has pneumonia, which makes me even angrier that we were turned away. Had she been seen the evening before, she would already be receiving the treatment she needed. Moving forward, I’ll drive out to the Patient First in Fairfax- they also seem to have more MDs seeing patients versus a NP or PA that you would likely see at INOVA.

Everyone at this place was super friendly and professional. Michelle was really fun to talk to at the front desk. Michael did a great job not hurting me with the tests and sticks up my nose. Jodie was really nice and made me feel at ease while checking me in. And James took great care of me and diagnosed perfectly. I was feeling much better shortly after getting my prescriptions. I give 5 stars to to whole operation!! Cant thank them enough.

Bottom line: if you need a urine test or bloodwork fast don’t come here! Try CVS Minute Care. Or labcorp. This place will test your patience as it tests patients. Hah. Gotta laugh irI will cry.Also, prepare for impersonal bordering on rude treatment by front desk intake people. I was asked if I had been here before. I said I wasn’t sure but I have been in inova system.Instead of checking inova computer system they made me fill out six pages of forms. As I watched someone slowly enter my info by hand I asked that they see if I was in their system. Of course, I was. That was 30 minutes of wasted time on my end and wasted manpower for Inova.I came in at 1. I got a text saying my time was 1:55. I was seen at 2:30. Sent to room in back.Step on scale. More data entry I computer. Take my blood pressure. Asked about symptoms.FINALLY I was sent to bathroom to pee in cup.I am still here! In room 8. It is 2:45.Waiting for someone to see me again.All I wanted was a urine test! Not a physical.Oh yeah, they would not let me make an appointment by phone. You have to wait your turn as your patience is thoroughly tested.

My 2 year old son is very scared of doctors offices and usually screams the whole time. During our visit he was made to feel so comfortable by all the staff while treating him. They all took the time to explain everything to me, and even kept us for monitoring to make sure his condition improved enough for us to go home. They do their best to provide good patient care even when it is so busy and people are impatient.The doctor that saw me today was also very good- listened to my concerns and addressed all of my needs.You will have to wait though- save a spot just means you will be seen by end of day. Thankful for people in the medical field first and foremost. They do not do blood tests, stool tests or have IVs so if you have anything stomach related it might be an expensive waste. Stomach/stool related they couldnt do anything and to contact my doctor or go to the ER. Ive omitted what I was going to say about front desk and the nurse. Overall this facility doesnt seem like an all inclusive urgent care. I thought going to urgent care was the better time consuming and cheaper option than the 66 min wait time at the ER.

Normally this is a great option for urgent care, however my recent experience with ADAM at the front desk leads me to this review. After a sleepless night of kids with colds, I signed in for care. During the short registration process my two year old slipped away briefly and was distracted by a light switch. I wanted to quickly finish the paperwork since he wasnt bothering anyone, there was hardly anyone there, but this team member snapped at me that he was posing an electrical hazard and could not move past the issue for the ten seconds of work left to do. Telling my two year old Ummmm, ya Im going to need you to stop doing that and then telling me with contempt unfortunately, theyre your kids when I had said I dont know what you expect, hes two. I asked for his name after his multiple condescending remarks and he asked why I needed it. I told him I was going to leave a complaint, to which he replied I am not giving you my name. Everyone else we saw that day was phenomenal and I will still come here, but I think its time for Adam to find a job not interacting with patients or children. Just a little too sassy to be the face of a clinic.

I had to take my daughter in to urgent care. I made the appointment and checked in online which was all seamless. When I arrived I was called back right at my appointment time. We were in and out within an hour. They were quick, efficient and I didnt feel rushed. The diagnoses and treatment were explained and I was asked multiple times if I had any questions. Overall, I would definitely recommend this facility for urgent care needs.

I have to leave a review for them. I was so sick last week and could not figure out what was wrong, fatigue, rash, sore throat and eventually a rash. I wanted to go to the doctor but could not get an appointment. I searched up urgent cares closes to me but didn’t look at the reviews and just went right in. When I arrive the front desk asked me to check in on the tablet station and I sat down. That is when I started looking at their review and I was afraid that I was getting ready to walk out since it has been 15 mins and no one told me what was next. But the nurse came to get me, doctor saw me right away and found out what I had. They got me in and out within 40 mins. I would call that a good visit.The only thing I would recommend is a more communicative front desk.

I deleted my original review because I wanted more info about the situation but after they just LIED on the portal saying the front desk notified us about the strep test i decided to add this. They didnt notify anyone let alone us (the parents) about both kids having strep. I not only left a vm to their headquarters but I also emailed them this morning. The front desk just recently updated the portal to say they notified us even though the only way we knew about the test was walgreens saying there was a prescription ready. I called this morning asking why no one called us to let us know, their test was Thursday. They said the portal is how we should have known. Even though we dont use their portal. Seems like their trying to cover the butts but too bad I have proof they didnt notify us. Cant wait to see how they deal with this now. Apparently they dont let patients know if their contagious, the patient just has to find out on their own and hope they dont see a bunch of people.

I was not told to go home because they have no technician. I’ve been here as a patient a few times. Sometimes the weight is pretty long. I think you can make a reservation online to check in early so that hopefully you’re not actually waiting so long. The doctors were usually helpful. Once when I went in for a wrist pain they were able to give me a brace. Also some of the rooms they have painted up on the walls like with the fish or something to be really cute and good for kids. So I think overall it’s a pretty good place.

The guy working at the front desk didn’t make eye contact with me once while I was checking in and asking questions. It was an hour and a half wait. I came back inside and the first thing he said was that I wasn’t checked in. I told him I was and gave my name, he said he didn’t see me. He finally did realize I was checked in and asked for my VA ID card. I told him I didn’t have one, and that the veterans administration told me that all he would need was my full social and to give them a number to call. He refused to call. And he told me that it wasn’t his rules, but that it would be a $200 charge upfront. I stepped outside and called the VA, and they told me since this urgent care wasn’t being cooperative that they would find me a better one. Overall this experience with this front desk individual was very negative, and I wouldn’t recommend going to this location to be treated like this. Complete waste of time

The woman working at the front desk on 4/23/22 is incredibly rude. Brought both of my kids here for a cough after their pediatrician advised me to take them to urgent care. When checking in, I let the receptionist know I would like them both to be seen. She was so annoyed at the fact that i requested both of them to be seen, so i decided to only check in my baby since she was doing the worst. In the back the staff was so professional and helpful. The NP and medical assistant that helped us were so kind! The waiting time was not terrible either. Overall 3/5 stars.

I went for a sinus infection (with COVID). The providers I saw only looked inside my ears, nose, and throat. Never listened to my lungs, never examined my sinuses for pain, never checked my lymph nodes, nothing close to a full assessment. All the provider did was tell me how much I did not need antibiotics right now, but if my symptoms persisted for 8 MORE DAYS (!?!?), she would consider it. I had already been sick for 5 days at that point, with the congestion just getting worse and more painful. She suggested I take tylenol or advil, take allergy medicine, do saline rinses. I had already been doing all of those things religiously throughout the entire sickness - to no end.Ive had sinus infections all my life and know how they feel. I dont take antibiotics for fun. I also know that with a virus, if my fever has subsided for a couple of days, but one symptom continues to get worse and worse, its likely something bacterial. I left this facility and immediately called my usual urgent care (why did I ever stray??). They agreed with me and sent over a prescription for an antibiotic. This place was a waste of time and money. My front desk person was very friendly though, so no complaints there.

I arrived at 0810, 10 minutes after their opening. I first encountered terrible customer service by the lady at the front desk. She treated every customer with contempt; barking orders, providing no information, etc. I was there for over an hour with only a few people present before me but received no information on when I would be seen despite having filled out everything online promptly. I eventually left because I could hear the staff in the back just gossiping about patients and knew it would take forever to be seen and that the care would likely be as poor as the service from the front desk. Within minutes of me leaving, I received an INOVA patient message that I had an “appointment” scheduled at 1030; over two and a half hours later. Went to another urgent care up the road and was seen within 20 minutes.

The most useless urgent care facility Ive come to know so far. My year old daughter has high grade fever. Had to wait for 3 hours after a 2 hour online sign-up for spot reservation. Her breathing was really bad and shivering. Told triage person (not a nurse). They kept calling non-emergency cases and none would even assess the poor child. This is my second terrible experience at this specific facility. Next time, Im heading to INOVA FAIRFAX. Ill definitely not recommend this particular location.

I was put off by the way the front desk worker was speaking to patients. She was the only person I saw working there at the front desk and there were about 15-20 people in the waiting room waiting to be seen. I had a full blown migraine with aura, laryngitis (so I didnt have a voice and vision was blurry), and some other illnesses/symptoms that I came to be seen for. She was not friendly, polite or approachable. She was barking demands at people entering the lobby - myself included. She wouldnt let me even try to talk to her or get a word out. Communication was lost and I felt uncomfortable staying worried about what other staff may be like. I ended up just telling her that I was leaving and she removed me from the roster. I ended up finding another non-non-inova urgent care to be seen at within the hour. They were much more polite and caring. I am kind of disappointed that other patients are experiencing this same thing the moment they walk into an Inova care location. Please consider adding some help for this young lady at the front desk - maybe her job is stressful or she was having a rough day - but patients deserve better treatment from all team members.

I got there before opening, so I wouldn’t have a long wait. Waited in the freezing cold for 15 minutes because the staff was late and the line to get in was already 5 people deep. Finally came in and checked in. I waited for 2 1/2 in excruciating pain while I watched everyone who came in before and after me leave. I asked the front desk where I was in line, she told me I was next. I then watched them call two more people back, after I was told I was next. I had a prior engagement and was so livid at this experience that I got up and left. I will not give them my money for such a horrible experience. I am currently taking Tylenol to ease the pain until my PCP opens up on Monday. I will not be returning. Absolutely aggravating having to deal with this while being in so much pain. People just have no compassion for others anymore.

I unfortunately came here 5 months ago, and am just now receiving a bill for $200 - no explanation of the services provided, nothing in my insurance portal showing a claim for that day. Per my insurance, I should pay $40 for an urgent care visit, but I guess they didnt bother to even run my insurance? Its extra ridiculous because I waited forever for that visit and the doctor didnt even do anything...I think I was in the room for less than 5 minutes. And they want to charge $200. Oh and I was on hold with their customer service for 16 minutes with no answer before they hung up on me. Im on hold again and Im assuming Ill never talk to a human being so figured Id leave a review. If I could zero stars I would. Went there on Thu, waiting room had maybe 8 people inside. All I could here from the back where the staff were at was laughing and joking accompanied by the music playing in the background. They had a triage nurse that saw exactly 3 people in the over 2 1/2 hours I was in the waiting room. After 2 hours in waiting room, still no more then 8 people in the room the receptionist was telling new customers coming in that it would be a 2 hour wait. After finally beeing in the back I waited another 30 minutes for a Dr to see me. I ended up leaving. I will never go back to this facility.

NP. Aklilu Guluma was phenomenal. He was very thorough, asked me pertinent questions, thoroughly explained all test results and was very insistent that I had to go to an emergency department for blood work. Had he not been so insistent I would have just gone home despite my pain. He was very kind and compassionate. I could tell he is a very smart provider most likely a physician in his base country. I wish he could be my primary care. He told me under no circumstances was I to go home I needed to go to the emergency room. Of course Inova at Walker Lane told me they were closed so we ended up in Inova f a i r f a x. Anyway thanks to Mr. G u l u m a NP, I am in the hospital getting better. Lets not leave out the front desk staff as well as the technician who took care of me. From start to finish it was very efficient and very well run. The woman at the front desk had all my paperwork ready for me. My best advice is to make an appointment. It was Memorial Day weekend and I had made my appointment the day before. I believe if it had been a walk-in I would have gotten to see the healthcare professionals but it just would have taken a long time.

Few things I would like to highlight:1- no one picks up the phone when I tried calling the main number, it goes to voicemail.2- staff do NOT know how much to charge me for copay, and when I asked them to brush up on this, the staff member gave me this dirty look3- I am not allowed to pay previous bills (copays) at that location, even though my copays are due to my visit to this establishment4- doctor who saw me spent 4 mins and said I have allergies, which I never had in my life. And what I have (or think I have) is some kind of infection. I’ll get a second opinion elsewhere.I believe front desk staff really need some training on what and how much to charge customers for copay. It seems they rely 100% on billing to do that job and it is inconvenient for me to wait and get a bill later. I’m probably not going to use this location again.

The last two times I was there the waiting room was very crowded and the wait time was two hours or more. I just couldnt wait either time so I wasnt seen. The best urgent care experience Ive ever had! I reserved my time slot online which was really nice. I printed the registration paperwork offline and filled it out ahead off time. The front desk person was very polite and my check in was very fast. I waited only a couple minutes and was called back. Once in the back, everyone was polite and professional. We had such a great experience. The waiting area is clean and has kids toys, the wait time was less than ten minutes, the staff was extremely friendly, gentle (on my 8 month old with a leg injury), and clearly communicated what was happening and how to take care of her. They even made her a follow up appointment with a specialist for the next day and helped me figure out insurance details. For non-emergency-room emergencies, this is a great place to receive care.

Prior to the combining with Go Health, this urgent care had been one of the best places to go. The wait times were always reasonable, and pre-COVID, they had dedicated pediatric hours. With the new management of Go Health, things have become abysmal. Their sign in process is complicated at best, and heaven help you if their kiosk isn’t working because it will take more than 30 minutes for them to even get you in their system for you to to check in. Do yourself a favor, and find somewhere else to go.

CUSTOMER BEWARE: This facility has turned over to a private contractor affiliated with Inova, and it no longer offers x-ray services.Our child was seen for an injury at school. The good: The clinician was able to see our child quickly and was helpful in providing a referral for a specialist. The not-so-good: Despite what youll read on the GoHealth website and promotional material provided at check-in, X-rays are no longer available as all equipment has been removed from this facility due to management turnover. Therefore, we were unable to secure a diagnosis. We must incur additional cost at another facility just to get x-rays. Additionally, check-in procedures are more onerous than pre-January 2023 and entirely placed upon the customer to complete paperwork online and at the kiosk while in the waiting room as staff do not assist except in true emergency; the only actual paperwork required for completion in hard copy is the form collecting insurance/payment information. Strangely, no payments are accepted at time of service (including co-pays), and no cost estimates are provided.

I have been to this location multiple times. It does get busy. However, the efficiency and the courtesy of the front desk get it moving. Today was exceptionally different with Jose, who greeted you with the statement the waiting is an hour to an hour and a half. He also discusses your co-payment and your many private information very loudly. Some people take the whole entry staff down with their very unprofessional manners. Informing you to cover your nose with your mask is way different From humiliating you.

I am impressed with the doctors at this center. My kids and I visited several times over the summer for unrelated injuries and illness. Each time the wait was minimal and the exam very thorough. We saw different doctors each time. We got accurate diagnosis and care, with treatments I’d expect more at an ER than my doctor or pediatricians office office (in one case). Brunette short hair worked 04.02.22 around 11:30 am. She was extremely rude over the phone to me and others when I had called. Very short and seemed bothered by every question. And as patients would walk out and say thank you (which she should be saying first) she would respond with “uh huh.” She also was degrading when people had to have her repeat what she asked. Diagnosed my son incorrectly on 2 separate occasions! The second one was for a simple ear infection. They claimed he didn’t have one and said give him meds to manage any pain. Two days later he was in agony so we took him to another urgent care. They said his ear was full of wax and scabs— so badly that it would be impossible to check for an infection! The doctor even let me see for myself using the otoscope. How can this please claim there was no infection when they couldn’t even see it?! Luckily the other urgent care cleaned out his ear, confirmed it was an ear infection and Prescribed medication. The next day my baby feels much better. This place sucks.

Review is regarding front desk staff. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Sabrina and Jennifer could care less about patients, especially young children. If you love your child do not bring them here. They don’t act on urgency and care more about paperwork and authorization even if the grandmother bringing the child has all proper documentation and insurance card and is blood related with the same last name of the child. We’ve taken my son here in the past no issues and all of the sudden it was an issue. Sabrina is dismissive, has no empathy, and would rather have a nasty attitude than listen to the concerns of why the child is being brought in. Seems this isn’t the first time she’s been rude the people.I was told by the senior supervisor if authorization was that big of an issue a simple phone call to me as the mother with verbal consent would’ve sufficed.I had to drive over there after my mom called me upset of what was happening, to address the situation.After a whole ordeal, I told my mom to take my son across the street to minute clinic at CVS and they took him in NO ISSUES right away with my mom taking him and not me. I work full time and we are always prepared for instances where I can’t be the one to take him and my mom can. Horrible experience. The office manager will just try to put a bandaid over the problem and apologize but doesn’t seem genuine. Highly recommend reaching out to patient relations who will help address major concerns over to the senior supervisor who is in charge of all Inova urgent cares. They listened and were concerned of the events that occurred the other day at this establishment.

It wasn’t busy, I walked in filled the application and got in within minutes, again it’s not busy.I have a congested chest and irritated throat, it’s been a week. I don’t have COVID obviously none of the symptoms. The lady tells me ur covid results should be out in 15 mins and a Doctor will come and see you. Ease of check in/front desk - I didnt know they had a online check in to get your waiting spot ahead of the time. Couldve saved time. So do that! Staff at the check in are helpful and polite. Its got a lot of parking space. If you get hungry waiting theres plenty of food places. The office was very clean. Some werent and when I went back to get them updated I was told Id have to see if the manager will allow and was asked to call or come back later. That seems so odd. Why wouldnt someones medical info be updated? Its so important having correct info.

The clinic is nice and new. My issue was with the Physician who seemed to be very judgmental prior to getting my history. I came in due to car accident after 2 days. Granted I have a high tolerance for pain & dont like to take pain pills if avoided since they tend not to work on me I have high resistance. She at 1st told me that its normal to have pain and not much that can be done. Because I put my pain level at a 4 since I handle pain well w my level most people would be in agony. What was my main issue was nausea impacting my job and daily functions more than the pain. I had to make her understand I was not a drug seeking person came in due to car insurance insisting I get checked out to be safe, deal with the nausea. As a matter fact out of the pills given I only took 2. I deal with things more naturally due to allergies as much as I can but she really didnt need to give me the attitude. For me to go to the doctor its because I have reached my threshold.

This was the cleanest urgent care I’ve ever been to. Also a huge waiting room so you don’t have to sit right next to other sick people. The nurse practitioner Eugenia was so thorough and made me feel like she definitely wanted to find a solution for me. She even called my regular OB practitioner to confer on a couple of things as I am pregnant. Later in the day she called to check up on me!!

I’ve literally called, 10+ times today to get information on if they have the X-ray Technician available on site because I have a leg injury. No one answers the phone, not even once, let alone calls me back. So whoever’s running your front desk today is just ignoring all the calls. I’ll be forced to go to a much further location simply because they don’t wanna answer the phone. Not even once. Horrible service and I didn’t even need to step foot in the door to know.

I have previously had good care at the urgent care, although they have never displayed any indication that they valued patients time. My experience today was beyond terrible, though. I showed up with an appendectomy incision (originally held with glue, not stitches) that wasnt keeping completely closed. Even though I was literally bleeding, they left me in my car during a heat wave (100 degrees today) for over two hours before telling me that they werent going to treat me or even look at me because it was surgery related. Of course, that is something that should have been communicated hours ago, along with the fact that they were that busy in the first place . Definitely not urgent care.

I took my kids there on Sunday October 30th 20016 and the wait was over 3 hours long, and there were only 3 people ahead of us. Beside being incredible slow, the nurse practitioner was rude, she took care of the patient that arrived after us and insulted me by telling me if I got there 45 minute after my arrival time and close to closing time. After being seen I had to wait over .40 minutes to receive the prescriptions. This was worst than going to an emergency room.

The visit with my son was swift and problem-free. I was amazed at how quickly we moved from check-in, to triage, to seeing a doctor (who was phenomenal btw), to x-ray, to getting the results from those x-rays, to getting a soft cast and discharging. It was the most pleasant urgent care visit Ive ever experienced!

Easy & quick experience. Very kind staff. Made an appointment online, arrived 10 min before the scheduled time. Minimal paper work, only waited 10 minutes until brought into a room by the clinical tech. Saw the nurse practitioner 5 min later. Rx was sent to my pharmacy right away and picked it up on my way home with no issues. Would definitely return.

I came here for the first time for my little daughter and Id have to say I was very pleased. The receptionists were nice and helpful, the wait time was not terrible, our NP was extremely nice and thorough, the facility was clean, and they even separate patients based on adult care versus pediatric care.

Incredibly nice staff and little to no wait times. I have been to a few different INOVA urgent care locations and this on is by far my favorite.The doctors are very understanding (Dr. Joseph especially!!) and walk me through my options without rushing anything. I never feel like a decision is forced on me which matters a lot to me.Highly recommend this location.

When I arrived there was no record of my appointment, the receptionist said I had to register as a walk and couldnt be less interested in customer service. I wasted so much time there - would definitely recommend somewhere else!

We came here when my son had a pretty bad sore throat. We didnt have a long wait, they were super patient with him, addressed him instead of me when they had a question about his health history, which he appreciated. We will absolutely be coming here for our urgent care needs in the future, and reccomend it to all of our friends.

The absolute WORST place to go if you ever need URGENT care. Showed up at 10:40, told the wait was an hour. Receptionist agreed to text us when apt was ready. Texted at 12:05, showed up at 12:15, waited in the waiting room until 12:50, was taken back to an examine room and waited until 1:50pm and a doctor NEVER showed up, so I walked out and told them not to think about billing me for service. I also asked for my blood pressure to be taken manually and heard the nurses complaining and saying I REFUSED to have the machine take my blood pressure. Didnt refuse, politely asked. Shouldnt a nurse know how to manually take blood pressure? Also heard the doctors saying they were out of that at 4pm, not one minute past. Dont care about service or the patient. Better places to go than this.

Waiting over an hour from the time I came in wrote my name down on the list, sat down and the time I was called up to register. There were two people checking in patients. Don’t understand why it would take that long to check in patients. There were only 4-5 people ahead of me. Then another 20 mins or so to be brought back in to see the doc. Once in the back, service was excellent and speedy service. Was very pleased with the care from the NP. I’m work in the healthcare field. The wait time alone just to register was ridiculous. I won’t be coming back.

I called to see if the office was open today and was told they wIll be open until 8pm. Upon arrival there were only 3 people in the waiting room, however, the receptionist informs us it will be approximately a 2 hour wait.I wish she would have told me when I called I was able to check in online or schedule a same day appointment. It felt like poor customer service especially when I called earlier in the day.Memo to incoming patients: check in online but do not be late for your appointment!!

I cant thank the Drs, nps, nurses and everybody at that hospital enough. They have always gone above and beyond for me while I am there. They have honestly been lifesaving, and an essential part of my inflammatory bowel disease care. They have even helped with things that arent necessarily er related, yet they still treated me with emergent care. Im honestly unsure how this place gets anything but good reviews.

Signed in online on a Tuesday afternoon to get a flu shot. I was given a time about an hour later. When I arrived, I was greeted, signed in, and filled out paperwork. I waited less than 10 minutes, was called back, got the shot and I was out the door. Everyone was courteous and the process went very quickly and smoothly. Will go again next year!

I have had to use the urgent care many times in my life. It is normally hell, but since moving to NOVA and going to Inova urgent care things have changed. Their online waitlist and their customer service behind the front desk is a huge life saver. I am used to waiting hours and hours in loud, crowded waiting rooms. Not so here! I’ve been 3 times in 2 years, and the NPs are extremely knowledgeable and respectful. Once I think I waited 45 minutes, but normally no more than 15, and like I said it really helps to use their online waiting list. The waiting rooms are usually very quiet and peaceful, especially if parents are mindful and respect that there is a children’s side. The women running the front counter are great. Look, no one goes to UC because they feel good or are having a good day. This is the least painful way to get in person care or have an absence excused.

I have had to bring both my kids here numerous times and they have always received top notch care. Everyone from the front desk staff, to the nurses, to the PAs were fabulous. Its great that they have pediatric specialists there and an entire pediatric waiting area.

My only regret is that I have to give one star. This place singlehandedly disproves the narrative that “front line workers are hero’s” and makes me think they are all mean horrible people who don’t care about children. We came in with a sick child, and we had his insurance number but we couldn’t find his card… BUT WE HAVE THE NUMBER!!!! And they refused care. Horrible people with no soul. I hope someday they get to feel this way and no one will be there to help them… monsters.

I received excellent care and diagnosis. Considering I went on a Sunday, my wait time was not as long as I had expected it might be. I didnt feel rushed once I was in an examination room. I would definitely recommend this urgent care center!

Dismal experience. Having surgery next week and the cardiologist - whom I have been working with HIS staff for the procedure (did I mention he is a cardiologist) - ordered two simple labs.The cardiologist gave me the number to schedule LAB WORK for him. I called central scheduling and the closest place was INOVA Urgent Care - Springfield.Appointment went fine - I needed two viles drawn. Then they told me I had to wait to see the provider. I asked them why I needed to see the provider here given I have had three discussion about the surgery with my cardiologist this week. NO reason given other than it is their procedure. (Sic...they can charge my insurance for a visit).I said no and left. The lady was absolutely rude. If you need care, great, but if you have a choice, I would avoid this place, go to Lorton or Kingstowne. They are nice there.

It took me 2 HOURS to be seen!! And its only a freaking PPD shot!!!!!! I dont need a doctor for this, I work for a military clinic and this is the most horrible service ever. I even had an appointment, came early and filled out all the paperwork before hand and they served walk-ins before ME! What the hell?!?!? They need to more nursing staff. This was the biggest waste or my time.

Long wait times (both times I’ve visited). My last visit I waited for over an hour to final see a nurse practitioner who told me to take some Tylenol and cough drops for body aches, fever and a sore throat. What a waste of time and money. Woke up today feeling even worse. The facilities were very clean but the wait time and diagnosis were awful!

Clean, efficient, and I was in and out fast. I received a proper diagnosis and medication to treat symptoms. I felt listened to and cared for. Will definitely come back for other minor illnesses. I do recommend going when they open up at 8 am. I was the first person there at 7:55 am and by 8 there were 12 people there.

Overall I like this urgent care. It is new, convenient to where I live and has a capacity for many patients. I have recommended it to friends and family and come a few times. I have had good experiences with the Nurse Practitioners I have seen. But I am giving 2 stars because for the 2nd time I feel the woman who does the registration (I have never seen anyone else at the front desk) gets very condescending and has an attitude. And today despite my pre-registration for a 910 appt that I did at 7am I was told there is no staff until 10am when I arrived. I questioned it and said if I made an appt why wouldnt you let me know. She copped a big attitude and says it is only a 45 minute wait. Well I have to go to work. So what was the point of preregistering? And it is actually more than an hour wait because it was before 9am when we arrived. This also is not the first time that they seem very understaffed. It is like they set up for a busy practice. But until then they are not even staffed all the hours they are open. How can an urgent care that opens at 8am not have staff until 10am? Hope no one arrives bleeding! Or with something serious because there is no one here to deal with it.

I went there with a deep laceration to my forehead . I asked if there was a Dr. that could do suturing and the receptionist replied yes , so I stayed as a walk-in . .She then handed me paperwork to fill out ...I arrived with a towel over my wound as it was bleeding continuously , after about 30 minutes one of the receptionist asked me if i would like an ice pack which I did take . I was in the facility for 3 hours !! I arrived about 11:22 AM and left there approx. 2:30 PM Despite the fact I was in there with a head wound that was continuously bleeding , not one time did anyone ask me if i needed a clean covering for the laceration or if i was in pain ...there was absolutely NOTHING done to expedite my getting seen . finally after 3 + hours I was able to leave having had 8 sutures put in my forehead . ..I was NOT impressed with this facility , other than the Dr. who preformed the suturing and the one receptionist who offered me the ice pack ...it appeared despite this being an URGENT care facility , there was no sense of urgency ! It is unacceptable to have someone wait for 1 1/2 -2 hours with a bleeding laceration ...and still more unacceptable to be kept waiting once I was put into one of the patient rooms . It became apparent something arose , that the staff felt was of more important than suturing my laceration ... at least when the Dr. finally was able to see me that`s what I was told .(.even after I told them I was trying to get out of town in a timely manner ) I was delayed so much by this visit , that it took 8 1/2 hours for me to get to a destination that would normally take 4 1/2 hours due to the traffic at 3 pm in NOVA .

Incorrectly charged me $75 copay. Please be aware you should not pay a dime for Covid testing, it’s all covered by Insurance. After waiting an hour and a half The Covid test was the most painful I’ve ever received and there was a lot of blood after blowing my nose for 2 days after that. Lots of attitude from the front desk and the nurse giving me the test. Would absolutely never recommend anyone going here.

The front desk staff here is horrible. The woman working the desk doesn’t greet anyone and refuses to look up from her computer. They also took half of their seating out from the waiting area, leaving half of the waiting room completely empty with no seating and forcing 30+ people to sit shoulder to shoulder or stand for 2+ hours. Absolutely unacceptable.

Brought my 10 month old here for severe vomiting. Very caring nurse and pediatric specialist explained everything. Gave anti nausea medicine so the baby could get down some pedialyte that I had brought with me. I felt better about everything and learned about pediatric emergency care facilities from them. As a new mom this was all very helpful.

My 19 year-old daughter woke up earlier this morning vomiting and with diarrhea. She even lost fainted twice. We took her first to the Urgent care located near our home but unfortunately it’s not providing any service except for COVID-19 vaccination. We had to come to this office in search of help. Nevertheless, because my daughter forgot her photo ID they refused to provide any assistance. My wife is now on her way to Burke for my daughter’s ID. I’m still sitting with my daughter after unfruitfully begging the office attendant who refused to do anything .

Just call this place Care. There is nothing urgent about this place. Hire another Dr, more staff, or another NP. I only came in for amoxicillian for a sinus infection. 2+ hours. I feel for the parents who actually brought their kids and have to deal with them in this hot waiting room for 2+ hours.

Horrible uncaring people. My 3 year old daughter was stung by a wasp and her arm was swelling up. I called them at 7.55pm and they told me they close at 8pm, I asked if they could still see her and they said only if they make it on time, my wife made it to the door 1 Minute past 8 and the ladies behind the desk shouted to my wife and upset daughter they were closed through the locked door and they should go to the Emergency room. Terrible service and people.I had to give it 1 star to make the post or they wouldnt have got any. We will not return again. The date is 5/2/17 just incase they need to know the staff members involved.

I went to W.S. Urgent Care 2 months ago (Mothers Day) and arrived there 5 minutes before they were closing. I wasnt sure if they would let me in but the door was still opened, they let me in and I was checked in. I was seen 5-10 minutes after I got there. Had an xray and told that it was good that I came. I closely sprained my ankle and that there was an old fracture that I had done. (I remember what happened but thought it was nothing.😯) I was given an airbrace and crutches... Thank you Dr. for seeing me.Unfortunately I still havent healed.😮 So my PF had first sent me to PT. When I went back she then said to see a/my Foot & Ankle Doctor (Dr. Robert Hallivis) because I should be better now. 🤔
