I had been to three other fertility specialists before I found Dr. Silva. His care was the best I have received and he really takes time to explain all your options and is willing to work with you on what you believe will be best for you. I appreciate that as many Dr’s try to shoehorn you into only one path. He is also very skilled, gentle, and calm. He kept me informed with what was happening through each process which is so important for things that can be a bit new and scary. My nurse manager Stephanie was also excellent and I felt like she truly cared for me as a person. I definitely recommend Dr. Silva and his team at SGF.

We started our IVF journey with Shady Grove Tampa Bay in 2023. I still remembered I cried in our first consultation session with Dr. Silva after I heard how long and how painful the journey would be. I am a needle phobia! However, 6 months later. We made it and I am now 9 weeks pregnant!What I love about shady grove the most is they have a dedicated charge nurse help u through your entire journey. My charge nurse Ashley is amazing. She helped me overcome the fear of needles, comforted me when I was frustrated over the lengthy process, patiently explained to me every procedure needed to get to the final stage of embryo transfer. I don’t think I can get through this without her.Highly recommend Shady Grove Tampa Bay to anyone. The whole team is great. The fertility journey is an emotional and physical roller coaster, so it’s extremely important to have a dedicated team support you through the way!

We absolutely LOVE Shady Grove Fertility Westchase! As a medical provider myself and as our third fertility clinic, I would recommend them a million times over! Dr. Silva thoroughly reviewed our prior records and identified the issue after several previous rounds of failed IUIs and ultimately recommended IVF. During the entire process, the staff was AMAZING from the phlebotomists, MAs and nurses. Everyone is SO personable and friendly, for once in our fertility journey I actually looked forward to all my appointments. The staff cheered us on the whole way. THIS meant more to me than I can ever put in words. After our first transfer, we’re finally pregnant and have graduated to an OBGYN. Graduation day will be something I will always remember, the staff hugged and congratulated us and gave us a personal signed card. We know everyone has a different journey and story to tell, but what a relief to have someone really listen to us and treat us like a patient, and not a number. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Silva and all the staff at Shady Grove!

I cannot recommend Shady Grove & Dr. Silva enough. The whole clinic & staff is amazing & so caring. I went through an ectopic pregnancy & they were there every step of the way for me including when I had to get rushed to the hospital. They were in contact with the hospital the whole time. I’m successfully pregnant now thanks to them & honestly so sad to be moving on to a regular OB & not getting to see them anymore. They are truly the best from the front office staff to the nurses & all the doctors.

Shady Grove is an amazing fertility clinic. Dr. Sprague was my doctor and I don’t think there are enough kind words in the world to say about her!! My wife and I are eternally grateful for her and the work she does. The front desk staff are also excellent and efficient! I was always seen within 5 minutes of my arrival time for my appointment. Major, major shout out to the team who draws blood! Julissa is the absolute best and never missed!! 10 out of 10 recommendation for this office. Not only would I encourage anyone I know to go here, I have every intention of returning some day. Thank you Shady Grove Team!!

Dr. Silva and his staff were absolutely wonderful during an emotionally taxing life phase of life. With our history, age and test results, Dr. Silva recommended we skip IUI and go straight to IVF, and I’m glad he did! It took us 5 rounds of IVF stimulation to get viable embryos and the Shady Grove staff kept us motivated through them all. I am now 38 weeks pregnant with a healthy and active little girl - my husband and I are eternally grateful to Dr. Silva and the Shady Grove team for making this dream happen for us!

I’m FOREVER GRATEFUL to Dr. Silva and his SGF team for helping me grow my family!!! He’s the best doctor. I wish he could be my primary and OBGYN and my family’s pediatrician. This will be my second baby via IVF with Dr. Silva (2 years apart). The whole process the first and second time around were seamless. Communication with my nurse Kayleigh was always timely and efficient. You have to get a lot of blood draws and all the MAs were great. Courtney did all my ultra sounds and she’s the sweetest. Dr. Imudia did my transfer and he helped me feel at ease. A big shout out to Teressa who worked so hard on such a short timeline to make sure I got the final approval from insurance to start IVF asap as scheduled. Highly recommend Dr. Silva and SGF!

First person I saw today to draw my blood was Terri. I immediately smiled because Terri has drawn my blood before. Not only is she a great phlebotomist and there’s never any pain, but she’s just a joy to see each time. She’s personable and I’m relaxed immediately. I’m a nurse, and it just goes to show you that even though we can only spend 5 minutes or less with a patient, we can still make a lasting impression! Couldn’t let the day go by without mentioning how awesome she is!

This place is amazing and has been a godsend to our family. We have had one successful birth with Dr Silva and we’re in the process of trying for our second baby. The empathy, communication and understanding from our nurse Amy had made this stressful process easy and seamless. Thank you to the team at Shady Groves.

Theyre truly the best! what an incredibly kind and knowledgable team! From the reception desk all the way to Dr. Silva! Its a very organized practice, and they are very quick to respond to messages and calls. Made me feel very comfortable and in control! My husband and I have been working with SGF for a couple month and have been very pleased. Everyone we have worked with has been fabulous. Our first initial visit was wit Dr Z. He spent so much time with us, & we did not feel rushed which was refreshing. He was very thorough in explaining the process for us and answered all our questions. Our Patient Care Coordinator was Katherine and she was excellent. She was always on top of it. Every call, text, email was answered right away. Anything we needed answered or help with she was right there to assist. She is organzied and attentive and made all the paperwork/appts etc a breeze. Dr Plosker was also extremely helpful and kind. He went over in detail everything we need to know, explained our results, our best options and was very positive. Our whole experience so far has been very refreshing and comforting which is nice to feel going through this process.The facility is beautiful, clean and the staff/nurses are all welcoming and so kind.

My nurse Leslie was so sweet and eased me through my morning check up. All staff is extremely comforting and a breeze to work with.

It has taken me a long time to feel comfortable to even write down our experiences with shady grove, but here it goes.My husband had a vasectomy reversal in September of last year from a urologist that was affiliated with the practice. We decided to freeze sperm in the event the procedure failed and we needed to do IVF, we selected shady grove as the clinic to send his samples since I had a friend doing IVF treatment there.I’m not sure if this is typical practice (it felt very weird?) but I had to drive a tank of my husbands sperm across Tampa bay (1 hour) to their facility while he was still in the operating room. I arrived there and the staff (who had been informed I would be coming by the urologist) treated me like they had no clue what I was talking about, and made me sit in the waiting room with my husbands sperm tank in my lap while they laughed and carried on. FINALLY after approaching the desk again some twenty minutes later and trying to explain my urgency, they figured out what I was there for. They brought me back with the tank, the woman who had me fill out paperwork didn’t even know my husbands name and just kept referring to him as “the patient”. Weird but ok.The whole experience was unnerving. I felt like a major inconvenience to them, meanwhile I’m sitting there panicking that my husbands sperm and potentially my only chance at becoming a parent is dying in my lap in a waiting room full of people. Some time after this, we learned that his procedure had failed. Coincidentally, at the same time, my friend who had been working with shady grove on her fertility journey NEARLY DIED from the medications she was on. She was not properly monitored, leading to her ultimate hospitalization for several weeks and delaying her journey even further (almost a full year). I looked at my husband and said “please, I don’t want to use shady grove anymore”Before even beginning, we decided to move to a fertility clinic that was closer to home for us. That left us with one problem, trying to get his sperm from shady grove to the other clinic. Unfortunately this turned out to be harder than trying to break someone out of literal prison. We went back and forth for THREE MONTHS with them, needing forms signed over and over, lapses of communication between people in their office, just overall general rudeness to us like we were again, inconveniencing them. Ultimately when it came down to having the sample sent to the new clinic, we called shady grove about picking up the sample and returning their tank back, which they agreed to. I was days away from egg retrieval, my husband showed up to collect HIS OWN SPERM and they turned him away, forcing us to pay the $700 shipping fee to transport the vials they had already agreed to release.Their response to all this? Someone said on the phone to my husband “You know we aren’t a sperm bank. if you had used our IVF services, maybe we would’ve treated you better.” Ok. 1. That wasn’t even the original plan and 2. So I have to spend 20k to get an ounce of basic decency. Got it. Cool cool.Shady grove, you didn’t even give us the chance to use your “services”. Your staff was rude, unprofessional, completely uncoordinated and in the case of my friend I’m literally stunned they haven’t sued you for malpractice. It’s truly sad, this is such a sensitive and difficult line of healthcare. The bare minimum should be compassion. I spent my entire first IVF experience at my other clinic in tears almost every day because of how your office treated us. The coordination, the lack of communication, I was stressed beyond belief. Beyond this, my new clinic had to work with me to make me understand IVF would not in fact kill me, as I was so traumatized my friend you hospitalized. Whoever responds to these reviews please don’t even bother. There’s literally nothing you could say to make up for the pain you caused our families. For the love of god, just do better. And if you’re a patient struggling with infertility and expecting incredible care and professionalism, I would look elsewhere.

Just had the most pleasant HSG and Saline sono by Sussie their NP (as pleasant as can be expected for something like this). She was so kind and gentle. I’ve been dreading this day. I’ve had both studies before at a previous practice and the HSG was one of the painful experiences. Really glad I’m starting my next IVF journey here.

Very disappointed with my experience with them, they gave us no direction on what to do , just looked at us like we had 2 heads when we told them we had an appointment, still waiting on results I was supposed to get almost 2 weeks ago, they tell me 3-5 days , every time I call they seem to have an attitude, I could go on. You would think a place like this they’d be nice and helpful but they have been the opposite, I wish there was another place my dr could have referred me, if it were up to me I’d never go back . But having a baby is more important to me.

Infertility is stressful enough, working with Shady Grove has made this process 100x more stressful. If this fertility clinic wasn’t the one my company used I definitely would have sent my embryos elsewhere.Dr. Imudia and Courtney the NP are fantastic, but the billing department and financial team are why I would love to complete this journey somewhere else.

They really are shady. They treat patients as a number and very money focused. Its more like a business and they try to upset their services and capabilities more than anything. After 12 years of waiting, receiving bad news, tears, and searching for an IVF clinic outside the United States and inside, too, today, February 26, 2024, on my wedding anniversary, I received the fantastic news of being pregnant. I was lucky to find the SGF clinic and my doctor, Anthony Imudia. The clinic in Wesley Chapel and Tampa is where I had my treatment. All the staff from the front desk and nurses were very polite and answered all my questions. I always receive calls or emails on the patient portal the same day or the next day, answering all my questions. Financial makes everything easy to understand and to pay. My doctor, Imudia, is the best doctor for me. He speaks Spanish, my first language; he did all the tests to make sure I could have a safe pregnancy, gave me the opportunity for a fertility plan, and was very sincere and calm, able to provide me with faith and peace during my IVF treatment. I recommend the clinic SGF and Doctor Imudia. Your dream to be a mother is safe; they will walk you through the process. They work with the heart to make your dreams come true.

Dr. Silva and my nurse Kayleigh were absolutely wonderful and supportive! Kayleigh or someone from her team was always quick to respond or call me back in a timely manner. And Cortney (i believe shes nurse practitioner that does the ultrasounds and what not) was just so kind and sweet and patient, I was always glad when she walked in to the room for my appts. I do wish I saw Dr. Silva a little bit more throughout my appts and procedures, but when I had questions or wanted to discuss something he always made himself available over the phone. And he was there for a couple key appointments when I specifically asked, which I appreciated.The one major downfall of the clinic and it did unfortunately put a bit of a dark cloud over my entire experience with Shady Grove, was dealing with their financial/billing department. I wish I could separate them from Dr. Silva and Kayleigh and the rest of the team. I had battle after battle after battle with them trying to get billing correct, making sure appts and procedures were correctly processed through my insurance. They repeatedly tried to tell me I had no more insurance benefits which was proved wrong time and time again when they correctly sent everything to my insurance. My financial counselor, was tough to get a hold of, get correct information out, and get timely rectification of issues. Going through IVF is already a gut-wrenching emotional rollercoaster and the constant battles with the billing department truly made an already exceeding frustrating and difficult experience almost unbearable. My recommendation to anyone about to start this process would be to make sure you understand your insurance benefits and coverage inside and out, and be prepared to be a strong, vocal advocate for yourself. As the billing is very predative and takes full advantage of patients in desperate positions who may not understand all their options.

I really appreciated all the help receive from this shady grove westshore team, very profesional, it was a very long treatment, but so happy of the result of my journey, they were with me all the time, I do recommend this clinic 100%, very grateful with all the medical team and all the clinic staff, in special Dr Silva and the RN Ashley Williams, they made me fill like a family, thank you

We had an incredible experience at Shady Grove. Dr. Silva and his team were wonderful! From the lab to the coordinators to US- great experience all around. Courtney in particular is an angel on earth, so kind and detailed in her work and made ultrasounds a less anxious place for me after a miscarriage prior to coming to Shady. We’ve already referred friends/acquaintances here who are experiencing infertility. Dr. Silva is so intelligent, friendly and honest. Pennye my nurse was always on top of letting me know results and my schedule. Finance was a little harder to get ahold of and get proper quotes on testing/procedures but at the end of the day always made it on time to not delay any testing or cycles. Overall I cannot say enough good things and will be back if we need to in the future but for now we have graduated with our little bean!

Dr. Silva and the SGF team are simply the best at what they do. (Kayleigh and Courtney were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, making me feel more at ease during treatment.) Reception here is pretty rude. Came in for our appointment. I hear nurses and other women just chatting it up really loudly about who knows what. The reception that spoke with us couldn’t make an effort to speak loudly and clearly enough over the other women.The doctor and nurse that helped us were nice and knew what they were doing. But, they still messed up my subscription.Overall terrible introduction to a place where family is important. I recommend if you use this company, go to Wesley Chapel. They were great.

I absolutely love this place, its calm and everyone at the office is ridiculously nice. Especially with the stressful nature of the specialty, me and my significant other felt at ease and really excited for the future with them. Dr. Imudia is so awesome, he took all the time we needed to answer all our questions and a great staff allowed us to feel like we were important and gave us a great path for what we need.

Where to begin? We feel beyond lucky to have found SGF. Our fertility journey started over 2 years ago in NYC, then we moved to Tampa and had to go through the process of finding a new clinic for reciprocal IVF. We interviewed a couple of other clinics but none felt right until we interviewed SGF. And it just felt right. Their customer service was on point and we didn’t feel like we were just another piece of business, like we did with everyone else we interviewed. And to top it off, they have convenient locations throughout the Tampa Bay Area and their financial packages for IVF, were the most convenient, too. We went with the shared risk program, as it made the most sense for us, but they have other options, too that are also very convenient.Our interview was with Dr. Sprague. When we first met, it was so easy to connect with her we knew we had found the one. Once our process started we got assigned a patient coordinator, Kendal K., and oh my, she was beyond amazing. She made our process so easy, her communication was always so smooth and quick, she was so caring, patient and compassionate, and always made sure we felt that. The cherry on the top was when we started having the office visits and found out everyone else in the team was the same, specially, Marlene and Cortney. Them both were the sweetest, friendliest and most gentle at all times.Our process lasted a few months because of some health issues we had that the doctors wanted to address before starting the IVF process to ensure we had the best chance at success, which of course, we appreciated. Once ready, the time to try our first round of IVF had come and after a few weeks, we got the best news ever, our first IVF round had been successful and we could not believe it. Once the pregnancy started, Dr. Sprague and her team made sure to hold our hands during the whole first trimester monitoring the pregnancy. Three months later, we graduated from the program and was so sad to leave them, but are so excited for what’s to come.We are eternally grateful for everyone at SGF for helping us make our dream come true. Kendal, Marlene, Cortney and Dr. Sprague, you guys are all rock stars!

I cannot speak highly enough of Shady Grove Fertility Clinic. Dr. Silva and his team provided the greatest quality of care throughout a very stressful and difficult process. At the initial consultation Dr. Silva carefully explained all options and what my personal process would look like. I was assigned a care coordinator and a financial care coordinator from the onset and both provided all the information I needed. The administrative staff is friendly and capable, the nurses and techs put you at ease and make you feel safe. My procedures all went smoothly and my recovery short due, I am sure, to the skill and care provided by the incredibly capable team led by Dr. Silva. My care coordinator Izzy was incredibly special to me through the process. She would talk me through each step, not just what to expect but also calming my anxiety and sharing my excitement and joy as we got closer and closer to a positive pregnancy. My wife and I have tried for years to get pregnant both at home and with another fertility clinic. The difference between Shady Grove and other fertility clinics is monumental, the level of care and concern is beyond what I received anywhere else. As someone who feared they might never conceive, Shady Grove helped make our dreams come true. They are simply amazing.

We chose Dr. Sprague, and after our first consultation, we knew she was the right fit. She was kind, humble, patient, and accommodating. Marlene and Cortney, in particular, added a personal touch that made each visit feel like catching up with friends.Amid a challenging period, Shady Grove, Dr. Sprague, Kendal, and the entire team truly made a significant impact on our journey. Their support and the positive experiences they provided are something well forever be grateful for.

I had a great experience with shady grove! We were with them for 3 years and we are finally expecting our little miracle! Dr. Silva was the best! And I absolutely loved my nurse Kayleigh! Both of them were so supportive and I don’t think I could have made it through this process without them!

I came to Shady Grove due to it being in network for my insurance, and could not be more grateful that this is where I ended up. My experience with this practice has been excellent - from my patient care coordinator Jessica, LPN Natasha, all of the office staff, phlebotomists, and various NPs/PAs/doctors that I saw throughout testing, treatment, and ultrasounds. The Shady Grove staff is exceptionally compassionate, kind, and knowledgeable and I am so sad to be leaving them (although for the best reason!). Thank you to Dr. Imudia and the entire office for helping us grow our family.

Shady Grove has been amazing from the start of diagnostics to the final “graduation”. Everything from their check-in to the communication portal was easy and seamless. I felt like they CARED from the start. Dr. Sprague was so confident and positive from the get go. She helped us conceive on Clomid and Ovidrel by the second cycle! My nurse Kendal was the SWEETEST and always so thorough when calling and messaging me on next steps. She was always so fast to get back to me. And no question was ever a dumb one. And the ultrasound techs were all so sweet and informative, especially Courtney and Marlene. With this being my first pregnancy, I couldn’t have asked for a better team. I’m sad to “graduate” but know I’ll be back for Baby #2 so I’ll save my pregnancy-induced tears!

I am editing my last review to update the clinic on our current experience. Phone calls and messages are not returned, we are not given any of our test results, blood draws are mysteriously lost and my partner had to have 3 drawn for the same thing, and then WE had to get the results from Quest and send them to the clinic because Shady Grove couldnt find them. We have zero test results or information posted on our patient portal even though I have had multiple invasive tests and lab work done. There is also no treatment plan on there at all. After nearly one year of going to this clinic, we are not any closer to a pregnancy and have only spoken to Dr. Silva one time over a computer. (First appointment) The staff does not communicate or explain anything when we go in for testing. We are trying to be patient and work with this clinic, but if things do not improve, I will probably go somewhere else. I would love to edit this review and have our experience change for the better, but at this point, we feel like we are being taken advantage of and are left in the dark.

The front desk lady was very nice & so were the ladies performing my procedure. I really like how clean and welcoming the office is.

I would like to say that overall, my experience with SGF was very good. Dr. Silva and his clinical team are amazing! They will answer all your questions. His nurse Stephanie is extremely responsive and goes out of her way to make sure you understand what each procedure is for and that you are comfortable. They helped my husband and I greatly. The only reason I cannot give five stars is because of the financial team. If I could separate the two I would.... clinical side= 5 stars, financial side= -30 stars if possible.My husband and I had to go through two different financial counselors because the first one was unresponsive and didnt give us any more information than the brochure. The second one (the first ones supervisor!) turned out to be just as unresponsive and unhelpful. It got to the point where I had to go almost to the top of their corporate office to get someone to respond and actually acknowledge things SGFs financial team messed up on and make it right for us.At the end of the day I would say that I recommend SGF, but go in knowing you need to get a list of anything and everything from your dr. nurse of potential procedures you will need and get with billing for a list of costs and with your financial advisor to see which procedures are and are not covered. Be prepared to do this leg work yourself. They claim they walk you through it and make it transparent from the beginning, but they definitely dont! On the clinical side, you will be hard pressed to find better doctors and nurses that actually care and dont just treat you like a number.

There are no words that could possibly begin to encompass our delight of finding Dr. Silva and the Shady Grove Fertility Team (family!). My husband and I struggled with conceiving and began to seek medical assistance to get to the bottom of things. Unfortunately we did not know about Dr. Silva and went elsewhere. After about a year of unanswered questions, we knew we needed to change doctors. Through research, we discovered Dr. Silva at Shady Grove Fertility, and we thank our lucky stars every single day that we did. From the moment we met him (1 year ago today), we knew that he was the right fit for us and the hopes of expanding our family. Dr. Silva was honest, sweet, and so intelligent that he could explain everything to us in ways that made sense to us. He is so passionate about his work, and it shows. He provided us with options, and honest opinions. His nursing staff (Emily, Courtney and so many more) and like a family. It is a challenging process to go through, no doubt, but the make every step manageable and give you the confidence that you can do this! They prepare you through injection classes, consultations and overall amazing support. My husband and I agree that we would not change our challenging journey for anything...except finding Dr. Silva sooner. We are currently expecting (thanks to Shady Grove), and cannot wait to bring our baby in to meet Dr. Silva and team this summer! We have recommended him to friends, and will continue to do so! I had an amazing experience today with Dr. z, Monique And Diana. I have really bad anxiety when it comes to gynecological appointments, so bad I take medication to help relieve some of the nerves. The team at shady grove did such an amazing job, I did not feel any paying during my HSG procedure. You are in great hands with this team!

I absolutely loved my experience with Dr. Silva!!! The whole medical team are amazing, they are very empathetic, caring and really there for you. Dr. Silva explained every procedure so that my husband and I knew what was coming, he was honest with us regarding the chances we had at getting pregnant. It was a long process but we are Pregnant! We started our journey with Shady Grove in Tampa back in March of 2020 after having a herrendous one and a half years of nothing but waste with The Reproductive Group.. Even with Covid restrictions, we were able to move along the process and get to where we have been praying to be.. Pregnant! The staff at SGF is truly amazing.. The office is beautiful and very calming.. I am a bit of advanced age but they welcomed us like family. We have always felt comfortable with the entire process.. They always followed up with us and made sure everything moved along nicely. Our doctor, Dr. Silva is amazing and truly cares about his patients success.. He is encouraging and supporting.. Our nurse Stephanie is awesome.. She answered any questions we had within a couple of hours. We do not have the words to express enough gratitude for what they have done for us.. The last visit was bitter sweet as we had to part ways because their job is done! Anyone that is having to go thru this journey, put your trust in them.. They are true phenomenal!

This practice is absolutely amazing! Everyone is so kind and empathetic. My nurses, Emily and Rebekah were phenomenal. Dr. Silva is warm and understanding. The team is patient focused. The name describes this facility perfectly. They are very shady people. How can I pay for my results pay for my treatment and ask for my documents to be sent to me and get refuse to get my paperwork sent to me that my rights to have my documents I really would ask for anybody who is thinking about using this facility to avoid at all costs and use a facility besides this one. The attitudes are not positive where you’d expect the most pleasant atmosphere from a clinic that’s supposed to help you have a child. Highly Disappointed

My experience with Dr Anthony Imudia and his staff was beyond my belief. If I could give this practice a rate higher than 5 stars I sure would. Dr Imudia is very knowledgeable, great bedside manners, with lots of empathy. I also want to mention how great the service was. Every appointment went great with everything well explained. The staff provided excellent professional and courteous care and lots of love. Thank you Shady Grove (Dr Imudia, Jessica Soto, Olga, Meghan, Christine and Emily)for making my dream come true!!!!

Shady Grove has changed our lives. My husband and I have struggled with infertility for 4.5 years (with a pandemic in between) and Shady Grove was there the entire way. I felt like I gained a family - they saw me cry, they saw our joy and they shared it with us. I have never been to an office that was so intentional with remembering their patients and sincere in wishing us well. I am going to miss this family but am so thankful for the love and hard work they dedicated to helping us grow our family.

We are pregnant after 15 years of trying!!, my husband and I were referred to this clinic by our insurance, we had our first appointment virtually with Dr. Silva and started treatment right away.Our first visit to the clinic was amazing the ladies at the front desk were really nice and helpful, we filled out the paperwork, they did blood test, urine test and ultrasound. they really have wonderful people there, the lady that performed the ultrasound was so caring and kind, we were treated really well by their staff.We live in Orlando so we traveled to Tampa for our appointments, most of the time we were in and out in about 20 minutes, the check-in process is really fast with your phone, so we didnt have to wait more than 10 minutes at the waiting room.so we continue our treatment, they did Hysterosalpingography to check my Fallopian tubes, spermogram for my husband, and a bunch of other test and everything came out Normal. We had unexplained infertility. Dr.Silva recommended us to start with IUI.We got pregnant on the second round. it was the most amazing experience ever. I will be for ever grateful to Dr.silva, my nurse Kayleigh, technicians and everyone else that made our 6 six month treatment a wonderful experience. Im 18 weeks pregnant and happier than ever.If youre struggling with infertility you wont find a better clinic in Central Florida, we visited many other clinics in Orlando before and none of them were good enough for our situation. some of them even rejected me for my age and the amount of time trying to conceive, and the Brown clinic even charged us more because of my age, i was so heartbreaking, until we were referred to Shady grove fertility and then our miracle arrived!!.I just hope to deliver a healthy baby and for sure I will be visiting Dr.Silva and the rest of the staff when my little angel arrives.Thank you Dr.Silva.

I have absolutely LOVED my experience here at Shady Grove in Tampa. The entire medical staff is amazing, always there to answer questions, knowledgable, and friendly. Dr. Silva is my absolute favorite doctor and Im sad to have officially graduated from his care. His expertise and caring nature made this stressful process much easier. My husband and I have been trying for well over four years to become parents and it wasnt until we finally saw the team here in Tampa that we finally felt like we could see the light at the end of the tunnel. SFG is a very busy practice that has processes in place that make the ride as smooth as possible. From JP who helped me get all of my exams and documents done to Natasha who helped me get my prescriptions, I felt completely supported. I especially loved that they allowed me to come in for 730am appointments prior to going to work and working with Dr. Imudia was great!

I had been to another Fertility clinic in Tampa and they were nowhere near as awesome as Shady Grove Fertility. they never gave me any results or kept in contact with me. Shady Grove is absolutely awesome they care about their patients youre not just a number and most importantly they made our biggest dream come true. I couldnt ask for a better doctor with Dr. Silva and Dr Plosker and the nursing staff was exceptional. I really wish I didnt have to leave them but they just get you the baby then you have to continue with your Ob-Gyn. Emily was super awesome and the rest of the medical team was great. I recommend them over anyone in Tampa and I thank them so very much!

In my opinion, Shady Grove Fertility is the best in the area! I highly recommend SGF to all of my friends struggling to conceive. My husband and I started off with a different clinic for male factor infertility. After two failed IUIs, we decided to book a consult with Dr. Silva at SGF in Tampa before committing to IVF at my prior clinic. We weren’t look for a second opinion, but made the consult because I was not 100% confident with the prior clinic I was with. Typically I prefer female doctors, so I was a little nervous about the idea of having a male doctor but after meeting Dr. Silva I had zero doubts or concerns about switching doctors or clinics. I immediately knew Dr. Silva was the perfect doctor for me. My husband loved him too! I truly believe God lead is to this clinic! I will say, there is no doctor like Dr. Silva. He is compassionate, understanding and so knowledgeable! Dr. Silva always had positive energy, he was comforting and had the best bedside manner. He was honest and gave us options. Dr. Silva truly puts his patients first! He was sick on a day I had a follow-up zoom appointment and I was so surprised that he called me personally to apologize for the canceled appointment and offered to make up the appointment later that afternoon (while he was not feeling well)!! That says a lot about his heart and his character! All staff at SGF were welcoming, personable and thorough! The male CRNA who assisted the day of my retrieval was amazing! I told him I woke up puking in the past from anesthesia and he switched up my medications to make sure that did not happen. I woke up from my retrieval totally fine - zero sickness! The receptionists, nursing staff and lab techs were also great!! I am so thankful God created doctors like Dr. Silva - not only with the knowledge and compassion but also the ability to bless my family with the best gift possible!! I am currently 33 weeks pregnant - We cannot wait to welcome our little miracle baby girl to the world in the next couple of months. I was honesty really sad to leave this clinic when I graduated. If I had the option, I would have continued driving an hour to see Dr. Silva! If you are reading this and trying to find the best clinic for your journey, I highly recommend SGF!

The Tampa office was great, we had an amazing experience with them. Staff was always very friendly and very helpful. The technicians and nurses were kind and knowledgeable. Office was clean and organized. Our appointments ran on time every single time (which is unheard of for doctors offices). Highly recommend!

I cannot express how much I love this office. I had been to 2 others in the area. We had IUI our first son, then the Dr. retired and I was heartbroken. The office I have been to prior, I decided to try again and honestly that office was terrible, again. I was hesitant to even make a consultation. My experience with a well known clinic had me very doubtful and on the verge of giving up. I didnt even have my husband attend the consultation, because I was so sure it was going to just be the same as the other one. Dr. Silva walked in and I immediately knew this experience was going to be completely different. He took so much time with me, listened to me cry and comforted me with such a positive energy. Dr. Silva is one of a kind, I cannot say enough about his knowledge, bedside manner and time he takes with each patient. It shows how much he truly cares, you do not feel like just a number. The nurses were amazing, understanding and so calming. IVF is anything but easy, but I would 1000% do it again with this office. We were finally blessed with baby #2 and am currently half way through my pregnancy. Everyone from the front desk, lab techs, ultrasound techs, OR staff, NPs, embryologist and all other medical providers were phenomenal. Once graduating, I was truly sad to leave the office, they all became such a big part of our fertility journey and I will never forget them. Its hard to put into words how much they did for us, how to you thank someone for the most amazing gift?! I’d give them zero stars if I could. We were recommended this clinic and saw Dr Silva for our first visit. Candidly, we didn’t feel like we connected with him and asked the clinic if we could switch providers given we are PAYING for this service. Additionally they also had newly opened a clinic in St Pete which is way more convenient for us. Unfortunately the doctor asked us to give him another try after we asked to switch providers (WTH?? Ego much?) and the clinic was unwilling to allow us to switch providers or clinic locations. The staff, generally, are VERY difficult to get a hold of to talk thru the financial and logistical details for such a HUGE undertaking. Net net, hugely lacking patient empathy and seem to only want your money. We are taking our fertility business elsewhere and have decided to not go thru any of the process with this clinic. Sadly, they are a national clinic so not sure they care about my poor review…enough willing and desperate souls who want their help and our passing them up for fertility services isn’t likely to hurt them they way we would hope. We had an AWFUL experience with Shady Grove in Tampa. This was to be our second clinic and second cycle with IVF (we initially went out of state and had poor results from our first cycle). We went for our initial consultation back in early March. The facility is beautiful and modern and everyone seems pleasant. We met with Dr. Silva who we loved. He truly spent a lot of time with us answering our questions and concerns. We were ready to hop on board and start our next round of IVF. Covid hit shortly after and everyone was navigating through these new and challenging times with foreign protocol in place. I was very understanding and beyond patient. This is where things started to go downhill very quickly.We were introduced to our nurse who was gone two weeks after our consultation. We could not get ahold of anyone in this office after she left. The front desk wouldnt respond to my voicemails (and keep in mind, we are just trying to spend money with them) for days. We were hooked up on the portal and Id send message after message and days (sometimes weeks) would go by without a response. We were in a unique situation as my husbands sperm was frozen with our first clinic and we needed to get it transferred. NO ONE knew what to do and it took three months for them to give me an answer on whether or not theyd accept it and then give me direction on how to do it.They would not let me proceed unless I had done a saline sonogram and an HSG with them. I was apprehensive to do any testing due to their lack of commitment and help at this point. They assured me I would not be charged for these tests unless we proceeded with treatment with Shady Grove. Very long story short, we decided to go elsewhere and now I am being harassed with bills from these two tests weekly.Our experience with Shady Grove was SO POOR that we actually went back with the first clinic who failed us because the customer service they provided was so good it made us give them another chance. And I am so glad we did and trusted our gut because we had a very successful second cycle.Dr. Silva actually reached out to me personally to gauge a better understanding of what happened and apologized for our experience. I did respond to him giving him intricate details of our experience but never heard back. Its sad because this was very close to home, we did like the doctor, but I am so happy we didnt go through with treatment. If they cant answer a simple question before treatment, what would it be like if you needed an immediate response during a cycle?Personally, I would do IMMENSE research and meet with other clinics before settling on Shady Grove. I am actually filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because this is NOT the way you handle business, especially something as emotionally, physically and mentally taxing as IVF.UPDATE: My billing issue has been resolved and the office manager and I spoke about our experience.

After fully switching clinics I feel better writing this. I was under the care of Dr. Silva and team for almost 2 years. The lack of empathy from Dr. Silva and also the time sensitivity of results is unhinged. I was treated like a number not a person. I felt like he is out for the money and once thats in ...we are treated like a manufacturering line. . For something so sensitive to a womens fertility he made me feel like I didnt matter. I feel sorry and empathize with these reviews. That were treated poorly. Fortunately I switched to a different clinic and had no further issues. Good luck to everyone on their fertility journey.

Seeing how much my wife has cried in frustration because Shady Grove Fertility is too swamped to address her needs is totally beyond me. We just spent our entire savings on this process. Shady Grove was very attentive and coordinators were following up daily for us to pay them and apply for a loan to start the process. They were quick to take our money and make sure we ordered $6,000 in medicine to now just disappear and give us excuses and the run-around. My wife had to reach out to the on-call nurse to speak to someone for guidance after starting treatment. We have been left in the dark with all this medicine and no one from the clinic has returned my wifes phone call. $40,000 spent and all they have told us is they are too swamped. This process is very emotional and Shady Grove has made this a horrible experience. My wife has been very sensitive since starting the treatment and she has been crying for the past 3 days and I cant do much to help her. How can a fertility clinic treat their patients this way???! This process is very time sensitive!! Where is the compassion??! Where is the understanding?! $40,000 in the hole and we have to chase after nurses and staff?? It wouldve been nice to disclose this before we spent the money. Future patients: stay far away from this clinic!! They are understaffed, short on nurses and they have alot of turnover. Our nurse has been off everytime we called. DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME!! They will be quick to take your money but then its up to you to chase them down for guidance. Now we are stuck and broke but we have $6,000 in medication! They dont even deserve one star.

We were referred here by my obgyn. From our first consult with Dr. Silva I was impressed by his honesty and compassion. The staff, nurses, phlebotomy team, other physicians were all very professional but caring. We had been dealing with infertility for 7 years and they always put my mind at ease and were patient with all my questions. I HIGHLY recommend this amazing team.

Doctor Silva is a great doctor, the fact that he took the time to make sure everything was right for me to become pregnant made my husband and I feel like he really cared about us and our situation. I graduated today with my baby moving around with a perfect heartbeat. The nurses and the front desk staff were very friendly and they took the pleasure of making me feel like I belonged. I am thrilled to have found Shady Grove Fertility in Tampa! My husband and I have been down a long road to conceive, which was becoming an emotional roller coaster. From my first call to set up my consultation, I knew I was in good hands and was about to have the most beautiful journey to having a baby. I did extensive research on Fertility Clinics all across Florida and Shady Grove was no doubt the place to go. I had my consultation with Dr. Silva a month ago. He was very welcoming, compassionate, and empathetic. He explained in great detail everything my husband and I could expect in the next few months. He reassured us that we would in fact have a baby, it was just a matter of when and how. He felt like family to us.I had my HSG done a few weeks ago. I was so nervous as I have read many reviews on various blogs that the HSG is extremely painful. I arrived to my appointment and was taken back within 5 minutes. The front desk staff calmed me down and were so inviting. My nurse also calmed me down, she could tell I was worried. She felt like a best friend. My HSG was way better than I had expected. The two Doctors who were in the room with me were so friendly and caring. Dr. Plosker talked to me as the other Doctor (cannot remember her name, but she is amazing) raised the bed to begin. I watched the monitor as images were taken and next thing I knew, the bed was being lowered. I sat up in disbelief that the procedure actually was over. I DID NOT FEEL A THING. It was painless and only a few minutes long. I thought they were just taking images of my organs, but they procedure was in process. If you can, go to Shady Grove for your HSG.My financial counselor, Teresa, is an angel. She answers the phone every time I call and will spend as much time as I need going over my benefits, expected costs, etc. She is truly wonderful. I have had terrible experiences with billing teams / financial counselors in the past, and I have to say Teresa is the only one who has provided me with 5-star service.If you are like me and want nothing more than to become a Mother and expect the best care possible, schedule a consultation at Shady Grove. They will meet every expectation you have.

Shady Grove Fertility in Tampa, the 3rd clinic my husband and I had been to, over our pregnancy journey lasting more than 7 years, is the reason I am currently 6 months pregnant with our little boy. With our horrendous 1st clinic experience - during which we did not even make it all the way through initial lab work.... and lackluster 2nd clinic experience - including 4 failed IUIs, with no explanation or possible reason of failure, and no clear plan or support to move forward with IVF, we walked into Shady Grove pretty much without expectations of success and emotionally prepared for more of the same. This was going to be our last ditch effort.We could not have been more wrong. The office is state-of-the-art, with an atmosphere which is welcoming and unexpectedly calming considering the anxiety and stress involved simply with our reasons for being there. While we were debating switching clinics - again - Dr. Silva met with us via phone consultation in January of 2020, as we live in Orlando over an hour away, and we decided to meet with him in person following the first phone consult. We started the process for treatment immediately at our in-person consultation, feeling immediately comfortable with the environment, staff and Dr. Silva. He clearly understood our sense of urgency, and was fully supportive of us moving immediately through the process of IVF (as we are both in our late 30s).The entire staff was incredibly supportive, responsive and patient. Teresa, our financial advisor, explained our options for payment plans and once we found ours she supported us through every step of the process and answered all of our questions - and we had so many. This level of support only arose at the prior clinic once wed asked them to transfer our records. Emily, our original nurse before she left, was also readily available and answered any questions relating to my cycles, including my egg retrieval and 1st frozen embryo transfer cycles (and there were many - sometimes we would go back and forth both through portal and by phone multiple times a day). Cortney, who handled most of our ultrasounds and took over as our primary nurse after Emily left, was always friendly and made an otherwise stressful process comfortable. We also saw Dr. Plosker for ultrasounds, our mock transfer, and 1st frozen embryo transfer. Each was a quick, easy and painless process - again, with our full understanding of what would be happening and how things would work. The lab tech Walter would get the vein the first try every time, which truly matters with frequent draws. I chose to have ALL of my ultrasounds and labs done at the Tampa office instead of locally in Orlando.When our first frozen embryo transfer was unsuccessful both Emily and Dr. Silva called us personally. This was the first office we had been to which I truly felt like I was viewed as an actual human, with raw emotion resulting from long-term fertility struggles, and that our loss was their loss.Even after Nurse Emily left, Cortney and Beth continued to follow up with us seamlessly. We still received the same level of response and support through the patient portal which we had become accustomed to from the start. Even the office manager was available and able to walk me through billing questions along the way as well.When our 2nd frozen embryo transfer with Dr. Silva was successful, the entire staff would celebrate with me on return visits for bloodwork and ultrasounds. Again, the difference between being viewed as a human versus being viewed as another client and dollar sign. Even including the months which the clinic was forced to shut down for COVID, it took only from late January to the beginning of June for us to become pregnant with our little miracle.Our experience with Shady Grove Fertility in Tampa was such an amazing one, I have highly encouraged a close coworkers daughter to come here from Texas to see Dr. Silva and his staff. My only regret is not having known about the practice when we first started looking for fertility clinics back in 2015.

I had read great things about Dr. Silva and was looking forward to starting my family journey. However, I called to schedule a consultation and was spoken to by someone who was incredibly rude. Since this was my first impression, it left me never wanting to be a patient at this practice. Thankfully, there are other fertility providers in the Tampa Bay area.

We had an terrible experience its this place. We met with Dr. Silva who is an excellent doctor and very detailed. He spent a lot of time answering our questions and concerns. We were ready to start IUI. However for the rest of the staff thats a different story. Our nurse disappeared after a few weeks. It is very difficult to hold of anyone in this office. The front desk is not any better.Since our insurance does not cover infertility treatment so we asked for costs upfront. We had initial numbers but those doubled and tripled as we went on through tests and consultations. We paid for a lot of this upfront and then get bills in the mail for the exact same amount weeks later for tests we werent told about had additional costs. There billing is shady and questionable. They dont seem to care about patients but rather billing them.Our experience here was terrible and suggest you look elsewhere for you fertility treatment. They dont care and not a way to run a business especially something as emotionally, physically and mentally exhausting.

I had a wonderful experience at Shady Grove Fertility. The staff is very professional and attentive. Whenever I had a question, Dr. Silva took great care in explaining everything in detail. Bonus, I got pregnant within 2 months! I highly recommend Dr. Silva and the whole SGF team!

Dr. Silva and all the staff at Shady Grove were amazing. We did our IVF cycle right when elective medical procedures were allowed to restart after the covid shutdown. The process was well guided, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. My husband was not allowed to be with me for any part of the process, including the embryo transfer. The staff was very accommodating and made me feel like they were excited and there to support me in his absence. When we videoed him during appts they made sure he was acknowledged and included. They made our dream come true!! Baby Avalyn Maria was born at the end of July and is a light in our lives during these trying times. A million thanks to you!!

TLDR: The physicians are amazing, but trying to work with this place is exhausting.Ive been a patient at SGF since December 2019, when USF folded their department and referred all patients to SGF. I met with Dr. Silva and he was (and continues to be) incredible. They actually got all of my bloodwork done on the same day so that we could attempt to start another cycle. I did two IUIs here (after 2 at USF) and got pregnant on the second attempt. Unfortunately, that was a molar pregnancy, which we unexpectedly discovered at 9w when the heartbeat disappeared. The clinic was fantastic, all of my doctors and nurses called to express their condolences. It was a decent experience.In the nine months that passed between the diagnosis and attempting to start IVF in Feb 2021, things at this clinic went sideways. Lots of turnover, too many patients, total disorganization and it is palpable to patients. I have now had FOUR nurses, my most recent is amazing. Shes doing a better job from DC than any nurse I had in Tampa. I have spent almost six months trying to get shady grove to contact my insurance provider so that I can use my medication benefit, but I have never received a call back, so Im paying thousands of dollars out of pocket so I dont miss cycles. I missed the RPL testing window for my last cycle because the patient care coordinator never followed up- despite the Dr informing her that it was cycle day 1. In fact, my IVF coordinator ended up following up, scheduling all my testing, and then telling me to end-around the Tampa office since they cant seem to get stuff done.Ive done two transfers here, which are covered under shared risk. When the second transfer ended in a miscarriage, my medical team- especially Courtney, Dr. Sprague, and Dr. Silva, went out of their way to figure out how to get me an emergency D&C out of clinic (SGF does not accept Aetna, my carrier) so I wouldnt start bleeding from the loss on Christmas.Every step of the way, Silva, the nurses, Walter, and the other doctors have been amazing. The financial coordinators, red tape, front desk, and the girl who will not stop wrecking my arm when she draws my blood are killing me. I am exhausted and I am ready to give up just so I never have to deal with the front office of this place again.

Dr Silva and his medical team, specifically Beth & Cortney, have been wonderful assisting us in this emotional journey. We received exceptional care, including thorough, honest discussions about treatment options and friendly, timely communication during the whole process. We are pleased with our experience and strongly recommend Dr. Silva and his team!

I had a great support team. I am an African American female over the age of 40. My entire team always spoke with optimism. They kept me apprised of all the information and timely responded to any questions we had. Dr. Silva was always very prepared for all of our consultations. He spoke to us with respect and discussed all of our options.

This is my second attempt with doctor Celso Silva, I can say that he is a great Doctor, always positive, cheerful, he always took the time to explain any doubt.His team is genial Kayleigh Oakley and Amber Graham, always took the time to answer me and explain any question. Just a little detail I did like this time my fiwnancial consulate Gloria Q. She never responded to my emails or voice mails.But everything else was Jenia, thank you very much for everything.🥰😊

I have seen Dr. Imudia since he was with USF IVF. Without going into too much personal detail, after a long journey (with Dr. Imudia and Dr. Mayer at USF), I’m happy to say that that Dr. Imudia conducted 3 successful transfers for me (2 with USF and the last with SGF). Dr. Imudia was very knowledgeable and wonderful to have as a physician. I’m also so happy that they took Marlene, the sono tech from USF. She is the sweetest tech. It was nice to see the same staff for all of our children throughout my 5 years of struggles. The SGF nurses (in particular, Rebecca) that handled my chart were so caring and took the time to explain the process, my meds and was always there to get back to me to answer my questions when I left a message. The west shore office is modern and clean and the staff was friendly. I definitely recommend Dr. Imudia and his staff with SGF.

Years ago I had to have my right ovary as well as part of the Fallopian tube removed. Cause of that, with time my left side became blocked with scar tissue not allowing me to get pregnant on my own. After years of trying my doctor referred me to Dr. Silva at Shady Grove Fertility. This place became a second home to me. From the doctor to the team, they were there for me every step of the way. From the downs to finally getting pregnant. I definitely recommend this place. Very clean, friendly staff. Very knowledgeable doctors and nurses. And even after your done there, they let you know that your always welcome and that if you need anything to give them a call. Thank you so much Dr. Silva for making my dream of having a second child come true.

We came to Dr Silva after three unexplained miscarriages and a lot of heartache. We were greeted with true empathy and compassion for our losses and they replaced our heartache with hope and determination. I can not express how much gratitude we have for Dr Silva and his whole team. From the receptionist at the front to every person we encountered along our journey. We were so frightened coming into our fertility journey and now are successfully pregnant and on our way to our dream, only after the help and support of the amazing team at Shady Grove Fertility of Tampa. I would suggest this team for anyone suffering from infertility or recurrent losses. They are all patient focused and truly listen to you. We never felt like just another patient This team truly cares for you and your partner and recognizes the emotional, physical and mental challenges of the process. Staff is very nice and helpful! The policy of not being able to be with your spouse during a procedure due to not being vaccinated even though both parties go through different test and exams to be able to have a baby makes no sense. Couples want to be with their spouse when they go through procedures for emotional support and companionship. Shady Grove Fertility is discriminating against people that are not vaccinated and are telling the spouse to wait outside the facility or in their car is unacceptable. If you only want people that are vaccinated please put that on your website, so our money can go to other companies that do not discriminate against unvaccinated couples.

My initial thoughts when it comes to Dr. Silva & the team is AMAZING! I have received nothing but kindness, love, & care! Everyone shows that they are purposed to help women in need. Its almost like its not a job, but a passion for their purpose! I am very pleased with Everyone who has assisted me thus far. From Michelle, to the young ladies & gentlemen who draw blood, to the ladies who do the ultrasounds, to Penny who calls me to make sure that Im on my A Game! I love Everyone at this establishment. Pls forgive me if I didnt mention your name personally but its only because sometimes I forget 😄 Thanks again Dr. Silva & your Awesome Team! And especially Ms. Penny Russell! The Tampa office was amazing to work with! Everyone was extremely nice, positive and patient. Courtney and the rest of the team made a huge impact for our family. We couldn’t be more thankful!

Edit: So its now 3 days later, and they are telling me we cannot do the implantation at this time, so their negligence wasted another cycle. Not to mention hundreds of dollars in wasted meds. Which we weretold to just continueon Wednesday. Not the first cycle Ive missed due to their lack of communication, either. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.Have been seeking treatment here for over a year now and its just been plain horrible. In the middle of a hurricane, I drove to Tampa as I was scheduled for an embryo transfer. I received my confirmation the day before, I received my check-in email 60minutes before. What I did not receive was any communication that the office was closed and my appointment was cancelled. In the 18months Ive been a patient here, I have had at least 3 nurses, the front desk staff has completely changed over. I constantly have to call 4-5 times each week, to get my results or get further instructions. Why am I paying 30-50K to chase people ALL THE TIME? To make sure they are doing their job? We are in the middle of a cycle right now but I will not continue treatment if its not successful. The lack of communication and lack of professionalism is not acceptable. Dr. Imudia is great, and I do feel that he has listened to me and included my wants into treatment, but it does not excuse nor make up for all the other issues that I have encountered.

I am an oocyte donor, and they made the whole process easy and it was the best procedure Ive had. I donated my third time with them and the first two elsewhere. Im in virtually no pain immediately after the procedure. Heather, Walter, Dr. Silva, John, and everyone involved were incredible. They genuinely cared about and took care of me. To all my fellow donors, if you have the chance to work with Shady Grove, do it. I wish I could give this place 10 stars.

I had a great experience with Dr. Sprague at Shady Grove Fertility in Tampa. Dr. Sprague explained the process in detail at our initial consultation, and checked in multiple times to make sure I was doing ok. On the day of the consultation, I received information about financing and met my nurse, Hilary. Everyone from Dr. Sprauge, my patient care coordinator, Ultrasound techs, front desk etc. were so friendly and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. My retrieval was quick and easy, and completely pain free afterward. I had consultations at 2 other clinics prior, and this was by far the best experience I could have asked for and my results were even better than we initially hoped for. Would definitely recommend!

I interviewed for a care coordinator position with this company. The application process was the worst experience that I have had with any company. My interview was rescheduled twice because of connection issues and then another time because the hiring manager didnt bother to show. I was honest about the fact that I had not fully relocated to FL yet and spent a lot of money flying out early to attend the on-site interview. I showed up early and waited in the lobby 20-30 minutes past my scheduled time. The manager asked me the same questions that she had asked over the phone and then said that she would get back to me within a week. I waited two weeks to get a response and probably would not have heard back if I didnt follow up with the recruiter twice.

We cannot say enough great things about Dr. Silva and his A team at SGF Tampa...A.K.A. miracle workers. When we first walked in we realized how the office was so nice, clean and new. That was a good sign from the beginning. From the initial appointment, Dr. Silva was very cordial. He was actually running behind by an hour or so and he personally came out to let us know he was running behind and asked if we wanted to continue waiting or reschedule. After this first impression, we knew we found the right doctor. During the initial consultation, he explained the entire IVF process from beginning to end, what to expect and how long it would take. He said my wife would be pregnant this year...and fast forward several months later...we are now expecting our first child, on our first IVF attempt after trying for 10 years!!! Dr. Silva, Courtney, Emily and the entire SGF team are top notch. We seriously dont think Courtney ever gets a day off. From the friendly front desk staff that always greet you with a smile and by name, to the operating room personnel that ensured us every thing would be fine before and after surgery...we truly felt like family there. If you are having trouble conceiving and youre looking for a fertility clinic, please come to SGF Tampa. They go above and beyond to try to make your dreams come true.

Dr. Silva and his talented, compassionate team blew all expectations I had out of the water. To start, getting an appointment for fertility consultation was quick and easy, not mention hundreds of dollars cheaper than another reproductive physician practice in the area. Despite coming in with (what I thought) was plenty of research and ideas of what Id hear, I found myself leaning on every word Dr. Silva had to say. His experience with women in my similar situation was reassuring to say the least, and I felt at ease with my medical picture where once I felt embarrassed and insecure. Finally, a competent physician who looked at me and saw immediately the issue and knew simply how to fix it all. After a battery of tests, most of which I had no prior knowledge of, he presented the results to questions I had been asking for years and years. On one hand, I was skeptical that the answers were really that simple, but all it took was one round of treatment and a continuous mantra of this is a process... this is a process and I became pregnant after three years of trying with 9 failed rounds of medications. Even after the three positive blood tests and two obvious ultrasounds, I can still hardly believe it. Probably the single most impressive way I can illustrate how invested this team is to their patients is the fact that every one of my many ultrasounds was done either by a doctor (or two) or a nurse practitioner who pointed out to me every detail of what they saw. Dr. Plosker and Nurse Practitioner Courtney, along with Dr. Silva, are literal God-sends to me all for different reasons. In a strange way, I almost wish I had been able to be with their practice a bit longer, but they were as excited for me as I could have been when they personally made the call to me after the first positive blood test. The navigators I encountered (Emily!) were equally incredible at keeping appointments, dates, medications, everything all in order well before I thought to ask and kept everything streamlined and efficient. I have referred several friends and family members to this team, and if I could stress one more thing is that this process was FAR AND BEYOND more affordable out-of-pocket than I could have ever imagined. If you are back and forth about whether this may be the right route or whether you can afford it, make the call.

Dr. Silva and his team are IVF salespeople. The only thing they are interested in is money. I completed my HSG test at USF with Dr. Imudia because they covered it via insurance and Shady Grove would not. After looking at the results from USF, Dr. Silva told us he wanted to do an additional test for $300 because he couldnt be sure there wasnt an issue with my uterus. Ironically, Dr. Imudia, who did my HSG test, is now working at Shady Grove. Instead of walking across the hallway to ask Dr. Imudia about my HSG results (a doctor who is now part of Dr. Silvas team), Dr. Silva wanted us to pay $300 for a follow up test that I can guarantee was not needed if I am to trust what Dr. Imudia shared with me at my USF appointment. Furthermore, I had to ask Shady Grove to upload my lab results to the portal on more than one occasion so that I could actually see the lab results that I paid a lot of money for. I have never had an issue obtaining lab results from any physician prior to going to Shady Grove. We were also instructed to submit tax forms as part of their discount program to save money on procedures. We were told to rush to submit then so that we could start an IUI cycle the next time I got my period. It took us a week to get the paperwork together so we waited an additional cycle. I called and emailed the financial advisor multiple times after emailing her our paperwork to make sure she had received it (given the sensitive information on the paperwork), and I finally received a call back a month later saying yes, she had our information and was working on it. She then had to call me back 3 days later saying she couldnt figure out the password I emailed to open the documents. Clearly, she had not been working on our documents as she had stated. The password was in a very easy to read email I sent one minute after sending the password protected form with our tax documents. Needless to say, when we called to start the IUI process, we could not do so because our financial forms still had not been processed. Shady Grove would also literally call us 5 minutes before our appointments to ask how far away we were, as if we would be late and keep the doctor waiting. We would always arrive exactly on time, if not earlier than our scheduled appointment, and then we would have to wait for 20 minutes to see the doctor. All I can say is, do not waste your time with Shady Grove. I am very disappointed that Womens Care recommended Dr. Silva to us. You cannot even get a copy of your own medical records to have them transferred without paying a ridiculous fee. And not just one fee, but a separate fee for both you and your partner. I certainly did not have to pay a fee to have USF provide Shady Grove with the results of my HSG or any other time in 41 years when I have requested paperwork be shared with another physician. In my opinion, the only thing Dr. Silva and his team are interested in is making as much money as they can off of couples who are already under emotional duress from failed attempts at conceiving a baby naturally.

The doctors and nurses I worked with were great which is why Im at least giving 2 stars. All I can do is speak to the truthfulness of what has compelled me to leave such a negative review regarding billing issues. I was a patient of theirs for a full year (2022). I had 5 IUIs and 2 IVF cycles. During that period, my insurance coverage changed in April of 2022. When I updated this with the clinic on 4/20/2022, I was advised by my financial counselor 4/21/2022 that she didnt see any fertility coverage with Cigna. That same day I replied back clarifying what fertility coverage I had based on the Cigna plan information and provided her with a copy of that breakdown that was given to me directly from Cigna. I spoke with Cigna as well and they reached out to my financial counselor to clear this confusion up. On 4/29/2022, I received an email confirmation from her that it’s all been verified and coverage info (including limits) was noted in my file.1st IVF Cycle - I received a deposit schedule on 6/22/2022. It listed the IVF cost $0, PGT testing $2100.00 and anesthesia $600.00. At that time I also had a credit balance with the clinic of $2219.82. We opted not to do the PGT, so that cost was ultimately removed which still left me with a credit. On 7/21/2022 I received notice that $98.00 was due towards anesthesia and that had to be paid prior to the procedure as all outstanding balances and deposits for estimated upcoming charges are due before procedures are cleared to take place. After taking care of that, we were cleared and I had the procedure on 8/23/2022. Unfortunately, we couldnt do a fresh transfer as planned and had to be switched to a frozen one. On 8/31/2022 I received another deposit schedule. This was for the upcoming frozen transfer and was in the amount of $139.80. I paid that as well in order to proceed with the transfer on 10/12/2022. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful...2nd IVF Cycle – I advised the clinic we were ready to start round 2 on 10/28/2022. The nurse told me she would let the doctor know and would verify I was financially cleared in order to send out the cycle calendar and get things started. I got the cycle calendar that evening and that was it. Nothing from the finance dept. On 10/31/2022 I received an invoice from billing in the amount of $83.50. I paid it as expected and that was the last communication that came to me from billing before egg retrieval day, 12/3/2022. I was never given an estimate on cycle charges, and I was never asked to make a deposit to cover any projected cost difference that Cigna may not pay based on remaining coverage amounts etc. This time, none of our embryos made it to transfer day nor did any survive to be frozen.And then this...On 12/13/2022, I received an invoice for $1,118.56. No other communication, just the invoice. I paid for it thinking oh, this must be left over from my 2nd cycle, a billing oversight for whatever reason, so I went ahead and took care of it on 12/16/2022. Then just before Christmas on 12/22/2022 I received another invoice, but this one was for a whopping $7,461.91! Surprise!!!:-( I literally broke down crying as it had already been an overwhelming emotional roller-coaster to this point. I was completely beside myself and as perplexed as could be. I was totally not expecting this. Had I had known, or at the very least been advised of this in a deposit schedule or patient/procedure cost estimate based on allotments remaining under insurance coverage as a possibility of charges back to me for thousands of dollars BEFORE 12/3/2022, I would have never gone through with that 2nd cycle.I believed someone in billing was tracking the ins and outs and balancing that against my coverage limits, being those amounts had been on file since April 2022. It doesnt feel right and its like someone in billing or finance dropped the ball on this and doesnt care enough to admit it. I’m exhausted, heartbroken, and beside myself over the whole situation.

Unfortunately my husband and I were treated rudely by the front desk clerk. Felt a bit rushed and she was rude, I understand working in the medical field can be a bit stressful, treating patients that are trying to conceive are going through a great deal of stress. It would’ve be nice to have been treated a little nicer. Your front staff sets the bar on how you potentially might be treated with other staff members, I would recommend another facility if possible.

I’m a patient of SGF Norfolk and I was out of town on vacation in Tampa and forgot my Gonal F needles!! The Tampa office let me in after closing found a nurse and got a needle for me. They really saved the day. Another great reason to use SGF! Teresa and Kayleigh are awesome 😊

If I could give 0 stars I would , disgusting how they treat people who are trying to have a family. They should hire new staff

The staff is nice and polite I met dr.Silvia and Teresa and they made me feel comfortable about doing this and I’m definitely happy that I choose shady grove fertility to grow my family and this is my first time ever doing this and I’m excited about it and the clinic is very clean as well !! I highly recommend this clinic if you’re trying to have a baby , I will definitely update soon once I get my bundle of joy !!

This is a difficult one. Where to begin? Well, it worked, we have a baby so that is the most important thing. But I’d be remised if I didn’t mention all of the negatives. It’s incredibly expensive of course and the financial counselors are heartless and careless (they are remote, we worked with Amy) and very rude when you ask questions.Nurses are nice but omg you have to just drag information out of them!!! The process was not very well explained to us we felt like we were just floating along waiting for our next instructions.You get rotated between doctor. We saw Dr. Plosker for all of the consults and Dr. Imudia ended up doing the procedures... but don’t think you can reach out to the doc with any questions, that will cost you a consult fee.Long waits. One time the receptionist didn’t even tell them I was there.Overall positive results but the road was incredibly rocky and I’d prefer somewhere more organized with better communication.

Great team at the SGF Tampa location. Wait times were almost always minimal. Staff was friendly and professional. I had a lot of questions, and Leslie RN was so patient and happy to answer them all. Highly recommend if you’re looking for fertility treatments.

Today I had an HSG done at SGF in Tampa. It was my first test out of many in the process of starting a new fertility treatment. I was very nervous for the test and sad because my husband was not allowed with me due to the virus. Nurse Heather was so sweet and kind, it truly made the experience so much better for me. I instantly felt so comfortable with her and I’m just thankful she was my Nurse today. Glad to know that SGF hires such great staff(:

Be carful, Shady Grove is a little SHADY about pricing and getting back to you about resolving billing errors.My wife and I did one tele consultation and before we did they said at most it would cost no more than X amount. We got the bill and it was double (too much for 1 hour of someones time). Tried to call and discuss which yielded no results. Their response was always they would check and get back to us but never did. We just ended up paying the bill after multiple attempt to resolve as it wasnt a big dollar amount. Luckily we no longer need their services, but everything they do is very costly so I would advise anyone that needs to use their services to get pricing locked in upfront and in writing including what the costs will be with your insurance carrier (if they participate) otherwise they could blame that as billing something different than quoted.Im sure the services they preform and the doctors are good, however, they just to be forthright in their quoting and billing. In my opinion they already overall charge for all their services which their results are never 100% guaranteed.

We have only gone through the retrieval so far, and will do our transfer soon. However after experiencing 3 IUIs at another facility I can wholeheartedly say Shady Grove is the only facility in Tampa worth even considering. There aren’t enough kind things to say about the entire team. And the fact that a shared risk program is even available is incredible - it has put our financial decisions at ease and made the entire process about us and the not finances. Thank you to everyone involved for opening this facility in Tampa.

After USF fertility department closed down, my husband and I were devastated until we met with Dr. Silva who got us in so quickly after all the troubles we have been through and was eager to start treatment right away. His office is excellent from front desk to back office, I never had a bad experience. I also cannot thank you enough for making our dream come true as we are now pregnant with a tiny miracle. IVF is not easy but so worth it especially with the right people helping you through. Thank you thank you thank you.

THANK YOU to the truly excellent Shady Grove team! I’m a nervous wreck when it comes to having any procedures done, and the process is always so smooth with them. Incompetent service. You fill out all the information online and the system says not completed and to make matters worse, no human being, just a damn machine full of errors. You ask them for something and they do everything the other way around. Not recommended. A terrible experience

Tori is the most condescending receptionist I have ever encountered. She spoke to me like I was a child and also spoke to me like I was incompetent. This facility doesn’t understand work schedules. I didn’t wait til the last minute to do paperwork, I didn’t have access to a proper computer or printer. I work during their business hours so i was waiting until i had an opportunity to get to a computer. Yes they contacted me in advance. The paperwork thing isn’t their fault but since day one, Tori was unbelievably condescending. It’s not ok to speak to people like that.

Me and my wife have yet to hear from anyone or should I say Gabby since she seems to be the only person on staff to handle pt’s!! We paid $$$ for our first appointment with Dr Saliva but since than nothing call after call still nothing has been done! In return we’ve been waiting two months to hear from someone “Gabby”! Very disappointed in the way we’ve been treated. As of today we are on our own with this process! Thanks for nothing!

Shadygrove is by far the BEST Fertility place you can receive care from hands down! From the front desk staff all the way up to the Drs who cared for me❤️ I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr.Silva and Nurse Izzy when I tell you Dr Silva showed me the BEST bedside manners and his positive attitude ensuring me that I was going to get pregnant, I doubted him so many times and he kept that positive attitude kept reassuring me! THANK YOU DR.SILVA and also his wisdom and knowledge of infertility is remarkable and the whole Shadygrove Team at the Tampa Office and the Brandon office employees i dealt with as well Miss Courtney(NP) she did my OB scans and she is such a doll always smiling just to always hear her call you “my friend” made my day and visit all worth it❤️ I can’t thank Shadygrove enough❤️ I graduated today at 9wks pregnant with my first pregnancy ever because of Shadygrove Tampa

If I could leave less than one star I would. My experience was one of the worst throughout my infertility journey. The physician was forty five minutes late for my appointment and said oh well the lady before you had questions and completely glossed over it. He clearly had not reviewed any of my medical information and offered no insight to my situation at all. All that was suggested was to repeat testing that had already been completed and was normal. I was beyond disappointed that I wasted my time and energy.

Clean, efficient fertility office. After years of trial & error we finally are having our miracle baby thanks to Dr. Silva & his team. ♥️♥️

They just stole 1600 dollars from us. We were charged for a cancelled IUI. A cancelled treatment due to a pandemic and then the credit was used for balance that make no sense since we had no balances previously and all blood work and ultrasounds were suppose to be covered in the total amount paid from the first treatment. The billing person called already with an attitude and just made it worse as she couldn’t explain it correctly and I kept asking and getting more and more upset. You guys literally stole from us and made an already difficult time worse.. you should be ashamed of yourself using people and charging them for things that they have already paid for..

Zero stars would be more appropriate. Awful experience. I got no response from them about it. Just a bill in the mail two months after I canceled my follow up appointment. There is so much wrong with this place. Do not count on them in such a difficult time in life. They dont care.

Our experience from the beginning has always been amazing. Dr Silva and his team are hands down amazing. I always recommend this clinic and will use SGF again in the future.

Rip off place will not tell you the truth just their to take your money of you are a self pay go somewhere else please don’t waste your time or money at this place. I came here with good hopes but they weren’t truthful with my diagnosis I had 6 polyps and a cyst and they still wanted to Ivf before removing it which showed me they didn’t care. I left their so fast now I am doing ivf in Boston where my new doctor wanted me to remove my polyps and cyst before we do anything she actually cares and I already had my surgery waiting to go back in 4 weeks so I can start my ivf no thanks to shady grove.

Very happy with my experience at Shady Grove compared to a different Fertility office we used the year before. They make appointments convenient and they are timely. The follow up from office staff is timely and they were quick to answer any questions I had.

My wife and I had a consultation with one doctor, but the billing process is a disaster. From August to the end of November, I haven’t received any statement with right price. The insurance company already did their job and the SGF billing department did nothing, even after hundreds of calls and messages.

Unfortunately my wife and I did not have a good experience with the front desk staff member. Was very rude and we both felt rushed and decided to leave and not move forward with our appointment. Your front staff says a great deal about the company and how your experience might be. I would recommend another location for couples and families in a time that is very sensitive.

I didn’t know how much I have to sent “thank you “ to the Dr. Silva ,Marilyn McSherry and his team , and I never forget when he said “congratulations you are pregnant “ , yeah!!! The miracle is growing so well in my belly from magic hand dr. Silva and Marilyn McSherry . They make my dreams come true .

Well in the end my pregnancy ended in a miscarriage nobody paid attention to me because they thought it was nothing serious my HCG was on the 2000s now is 61. not even when I had the bleeding they told me come  To the clinic to see how my Hormone levels are going, nothing left me in limbo, thank you for nothing, I know that I had an abortion, at least I would have had the support of the supposed doctor that I have, who was the one who gave me my IVF.  I waited a whole year to finish without pregnancy in addition to the medicines, how expensive the clinic is, the pressure they put on you to pay and when you need them ONLY THE NURSE ANSWERS YOU saying to drink water and rest, it is nothing and  The doctor is no were to be found he said I was busy and in a week he was not able to see me or even give me some encouragement or at least talk to me since Monday 19 2021 I am bleeding but you must know that abortion gives painless a high risk woman like me for my diabetes  How is it possible that they abandoned me like this and that they are professionals they treated me like a damn number for money I was never treated as a human being.  I am so sad that you do not care, it was my baby, it was my pregnancy.  And to top it off, I dont have other embryos either because they only have one the others I had left were killed, and nobody explained to me what happened. I know that all these things could happen, I just needed them to be there because I am not a number, I am a human being.

They would never just call me. When I was on the phone everyone seemed nice and helpful but I only managed to get through twice. All the rest of the times they would send me very short emails. Which I would check every day but occasionally I would check it and they would end up sending an email just after and I wouldnt see it untill hours later. For something as time sensitive as egg donation it was really stressful feeling like I was being jerked around, even though everything would have been fine if they had just called me to set up appointments instead of trying to send text-like emails back and forth. I ended up running out of time because I had to go back to school, but we missed the chance to start the process twice because of the emails. All that being said I still want to try again next summer and I hope it goes better.

I started my fertility journey on 2018 with Dr Silva , I cant ask for a better doctor or team , Dr Silva always make me feel confident , full of hope , he take time for explain every details & concerns good or bad , I always be so thankfull to the whole team , Emily , Courtney , Rebecca, Heather & nurses, for the support & kindness ,, you guys are great !

What a horrible experience. Waited over 2 months just to get an appointment, then had to wait over an hour in the waiting room, with no one communicating anything to us why the doctor was late. We were rushed and didn’t feel we got all the information we needed to proceed. We are already going through so much and the place we go to get help made us feel even more hopeless.

Ladies at the front desk are the best. Staffing all around has always been helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Glad this is my office.

Bad custumer service they told me for the first in the first visit its gonna cost me 1500$ and I end up paying 5000 $ out of pocket I dont advice any one to go there

I simply had the best experience at this clinic❤️Doctor Celso Silva is wonderful!! Super attentive and concerned.. when we went to do the insemination he said that in 2 days I would be pregnant, said and done.. two days later, I was!! Now Im 7 months old with my boy 💙Rafaela is an angel! Super patient with me and my calls haha ​​thank you everyone ❤️

I mark one star because if not I cannot give my opinion because for me giving it a zero would still be too much, the worst experience that I and my partner have had I only have a good opinion of Doctor Silva since the treatment was very friendly only that the employees The ones around you are all racists. If the managers-owners knew the bad job their employees do and how they make them lose money, Im sure they wouldnt hire them. Everyone in the clinic is excellent in the treatment and care they give to those of us who are going through this process, my doctor Silva is excellent, I have no words to thank everything he does for us, but I want to highlight my Coordinator Laura Grullon González, I have no words. to thank her for everything, 5 stars are not enough for her, she is my valuable member of the team, she has been with me since the beginning of this process and I thank her because she does everything like translating for me. You can get old here waiting for a follow up appointment. The 4 month process to have an appointment to have your results read? Its JUST RIDICULOUS. Almost 1000 in tests to have to be stuck here because you cant change doctors if the doctor cant see you for more than a month! After all, this topic is very sensitive to them, they are simply not interested in you as a patient. Very frustrating and I dont even recommend starting your process here. What a disappointment!
