This office is awesome. Dr. Bastawros is fabulous. Never had a doctor spend so much time with me explaining everything. She is very warm and puts you at ease. I’m so glad I found her!

Dr. Bastowas and the staff at Novant Urology and Pelvic Health are just great. Ive been a patient for a couple of years now, and they have worked hard to help me find a solution to the problems Ive been dealing with as an older woman trying to navigate the concerns many women have as they go through Menopause. I truly appreciate their care and support as a patient to find the best solution for my particular issues. Call them and make an appointment. I feel certain they will be able to address your concerns and find the perfect fit for your particular needs.

Dr Miyazaki and his staff thoroughly discussed with me the probable causes of my health situation and great information about my possible treatment options. He and his staff were personable, making the discussion so much easier.

Dr. Bastawros and her entire staff are wonderful. I was comfortable from the moment I walked into the office. Dr. Bastawros was so nice and kind and explained everything she was doing and made sure I undestood everything she was explaining to me about my appointment and the results. I will definitely be going back to her and have already told several of my friends about her.

Dr. Braxton and the entire care and office team were positively wonderful. I feel I was heard and believed. Everything was done thoroughly and compassionately. I cannot recommend Dr. Braxton and this practice enough.

From the office staff, to the nurse, to the Dr. Miyzaki, I experienced superior care at pelvic health care. This was a second opinion after 1 1/2 years of of bad experiences at another provider. I am switching to Novant for pelvic care.

Dr Dina Bastawros with NH Pelvic Floor practice can help women who suffer with bladder leakage. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and really “listens” to one’s concerns with this problem. I would highly recommend you strongly consider Dr. Bastawros if you are experiencing incontinence.

I feel as if I am in good hands with the Novant team. I only have the summers to attend to my health issues, so taking the time to consult Novant and get questions answered, follow-up tests scheduled, etc., was a very good use of my limited time.

I was treated with respect. The doctor was thorough in her explanation to me and my husband. 10/10 recommend this practice.

Dr Douglas Miyazaki is a very Phenomenal Caring obstetrician-gynecologist. He takes the time to administrator excellent exam, gives and explains symptoms with deep understanding and explain making sure that you understand the treatments that is needed to help sustain the symptoms.

Great experience for first visit to this office.Dr Dina was very kind and caring, no rush and explained everything. Made sure I knew who to call if I had questions later. Office personnel and techs were efficient, warm and helpful.

A great experience with the front office, staff and especially Dr. Braxton. Everyone was very friendly and professional. If I had known there was a doctor like Dr. Braxton I would have had my problem took care of sooner. She is very smart, knowledgeable, puts you at ease and a very caring and genuine doctor. She explained to me my options, took time to answer all my questions and told me everything she was doing. Also after surgery she kept up with my condition and if I had any concerns to contact her. The best experience I have ever had with a doctor. She made this an enjoyable experience that I didn’t know was possible. If the medical field had more doctors like her it would be a better place for all. She is truly a blessing and a shining star in her field.

The entire staff, especially Dr. Miyazaki, my former GYN, were professional and easy to talk to. Dr. Miyazaki actively listened to me, and explained all the options. He’s a wonderfully smart physician with a great bedside manner! It was a great “mini-reunion” visit at this facility!

No one could ever ask or find a better group of providers for their care. They were able to get me in to be seen within 24 hours and treated me and my concerns with the utmost respect and priority. I wish I could give them a million stars! Most definitely will be recommending them to anyone that needs the services they provide!

From the reception area to seeing the provider, Dr. Dina, I had a wonderful experience at this facility on 7/20/23. I was referred to Dr. Dina by a friend, and I am glad, because she is absolutely superb. She is delightful, very thorough, knows her craft, listened to my concerns and very respectful. If you are In need of this type of care, I would highly recommend Dr. Dina! She is definitely an asset to Novant!

Doctor smith is a great doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. His bed side manner is amazing.. Dr Smiths nurse a medical assistant are one in a million. I wish all were the same. .

Had rectocele surgery and I have full confidence in Dr.Braxton and her staff . They are always nice and listen to your concerns. Dr Braxton is very thorough in explaining procedures and risks .

Everyone is very knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful. Dr. Miyazaki took a lot of time talking about my condition and his steps to investigate with some tests before any major surgery. He answered several questions I asked, definitely without me feeling I was wasting his time. He genuinely seems to care about his patients and wants the best possible outcome for them.

Novant Health Pelvic Healths staff is very friendly, their office is very clean. Dr. Susan Hannah is wonderful she listens to what you have to say. Shes very easy to talk with. Shes very compassionate and works diligently to get to the bottom of your problem. When i walked in her office today i felt hopeless but when i left with the instructions she had given me along with medication and exercise i felt hopeful that togather we could cure my problem. I actualy smiled something i had not done in months. Thank you so much Susan Hannah .

Dr Smith and the family there at the urologist are very nice. They listen and explain things to you that you can understand I recommend them highly.

Doctor Susan, idk her last name, sucks. If u are referred to her ask for another doctor. Idk what her problem is but she did a rough pelvic exam on me and overall acted weird. Very uninviting and if I could go back in time and argue with her I would.

Dr. Miyazaki is great! He gets straight to the point, very understanding & a medical magician. I had very personal procedures done in April 2021. The entire staff was amazing- from the receiptionist, scheduler, assistants & nurses. (Shanna, Susan, Liz, etc.) I would recommend this place without a doubt!

Bladder issues can be humiliating to deal with, so I appreciate the care that I received at Novant Health Pelvic Health Center. Top notch team of doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and staff. They always treat me and my concerns with care and have helped to educate me on healthier lifestyle changes.

Its been sometime since I went. Was referred here by VA. They released me unexpectedly after telling me on the previous visit I had several more visits. She assured me I was on the right track it was not long after I lapsed and had flare ups. But due to the way I was released it did not feel like they wanted me to return. It is difficult enough to come here and open up in the way required for treatment. Please do not let them release you until you feel the treatment is successful and there will be no relapse. They are the only pelvic floor therapist in the area which makes it all the more worse.Suggest they use a biofeedback device instead of the finger. This is because this provides quantitative data to show the current state and then use at a later time to compare the multiple results. Additionally a biofeedback device can be used at home and while a finger can too, there is no point of reference to compare against.Id give a worse review but the treatment seemed to work when it was being performed. Discouragedly yours...

The technician, Tonya, was absolutely wonderful! The whole staff that I encountered was great but, Tonya has set the bar high for standards of care! She made the experience bearable! She explained everything step by step beforehand & during the procedure.

Dr. Schortz is AMAZING! After going to 4 different doctor he was able to figure out my problem within the first visit and went from there with a plan to help get my problem resolve. He doesnt make you feel like you 2 foot tall, he talks to you like hes know you for years and takes the time to get to know you as a patient and explains everything in detail to you. I would highly recommend Dr. Schortz to anybody!

I was treated with respect during the procedure and my privacy was protected. The tech that performed the procedure was professional, courteous and vert informative. She answered all my questions and concerns. She explained in detail why I was having some of the problems I was having and how to correct them.

Let me begin by saying Dr. Smith is a extremely knowledgeable Urologist. Only superseded by his dedication to his patients.He took on many extra patients after Dr. Albertson left Novant. His understanding of my spinalcord issues and the urological effects is extremely important to me. I highly recommend him and his staff. He performed Interstim implantation and it has changed my life and decreased hospital Botox procedures. He is the best urologist I’ve had and I have had many.

Have had issues with a urethral stricture for well over 10 years. Dr Smith rectified my issue and Im now issue free. I highly recommend this practice.

Wanda turner. I have my therapy there and I love it. Kegel Exercises Is a big no no since it can tighten up and cause more problems to your pelvic area and bladder. I do stretches and breathing exercises to help relax my pelvic area and bladder. My therapist has helped me so much in the last 2 months!

Very uncomfortable, very expensive test done that did not show my true problem. Only thing offered to me was physical therapy. I already know how to do Kegel Exercises, and they did not work.
