Came to push twice for acupuncture. So happy I met Alisa she is incredibly sweet and nurturing. She thoroughly explains everything and makes you feel very comfortable and safe. I will be back when I need more acupuncture services (:

Alisa is awesome. I am so happy that I found her! She initially treated me for Bells Palsy that I developed at 34 weeks pregnant. She has always been kind, compassionate, calming, and thorough during my time being treated by her. I truly feel she made such a positive difference in my quick recovery. She also later treated me to help induce labor. I highly recommend Alisa. I have full trust and confidence in her knowledge and skills. Her office space is also clean, and it is a peaceful environment.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience with Alisa Galvan. She is knowledgeable, comforting, and attentive. She provided lactation support for our newborn (who has latch issues) and its because of her help that we have been able to start/continue breastfeeding. Also, I had never had acupuncture before, but I felt comfortable trying it because of the individualized care she provided with the lactation support. She treated me for anxiety/pain and my symptoms have improved drastically. I look forward to future sessions and highly recommend her to anyone in need of these services.

Alisa was so knowledgeable and helpful during our time together. She was through and explained everything she wanted to do and how it would look. She took a fully holistic approach to helping me achieve my labor/end of pregnancy wishes. I would highly recommend her for pre or postnatal care!

I went to see Alisa for acupuncture treatment when I was 40 weeks five days pregnant to try to get things moving. In hindsight, I had already started early labor that morning coincidentally, and was having some contractions every 10 minutes. It’s hard to say whether the visit helped things continue and progress, or they would have anyway, but I ended up delivering baby that evening! Regardless, it was one of the most thorough and best acupuncture treatments I have received. She really took the time to listen to everything and was great at explaining everything she was doing. If nothing else, I felt extremely relaxed coming out of her office. I would definitely recommend.

Alisa is the healing queen! I have been going to Alisa for 4 months now and she is by far the best acupuncturist I have ever had (Ive had three!) she is so gentle when she inserts the needles but not only that, she is also uses herbs, moxibustion, ear seeds, cupping, massage, essential oils, breathing technique, steaming and so much more to help you heal! I came to her when I found out my baby had no heartbeat and she helped get the natural miscarriage started, just one session and it got it started! She helped and made sure that everything was successfully expelled from the uterus through acupuncture, moxibustion, herbs, and vaginal steaming. Since then she has been helping me recover and take care of my other health concerns. She is incredibly thorough, spends a lot of time each session asking about my overall health and customizes each session based on how Im feeling that day. She is the best overall eastern medicine practitioner that I could have ever asked for. She also recommends supplements, herbs, oils, for daily use when you are not at the clinic so you can treat yourself at home too! And she answers all of my questions. I am beyond thankful to receive treatment from her and definitely recommend to literally anyone who wants to use Chinese medicine in their health!

Alisa is incredible and I wish I found her earlier in my pregnancy! If you are experiencing anything uncomfortable at all, do not hesitate - you DO NOT have to suffer! I found Alisa after trying everything for my pelvic/lower back pain the the third trimester. Nothing worked and I could barely walk or get comfortable. Alisa was very attentive and thorough during our first session, really taking time to understand all my symptoms and to validate me. I am pain-free and shes been able to ease all my third trimester symptoms overall, making this period of time most women dread much easier. Since this is my first pregnancy, I feel a bit lost due to the overwhelming amount of information out there. She is gentle, calming and very supportive as she educates you on things you can do to further help yourself with confidence -- an invaluable tool. I am now doing the birth sessions and I feel confident in my body vs. being terrified about labor and delivery. Overall, I feel so much better physically and mentally than I have most of my pregnancy. I look forward to continuing our partnership for years to come and I am grateful for her guidance, kind spirit, knowledge and her ability to heal!

Cant say enough about PUSH. Alisa is amazing, she is understanding, educates you in so many ways to help yourself between appointments. Highly recommend!

Alisa is so sweet and really took the time to discuss my symptoms and concerns before our first session. She walked me through her process while placing the needles. Our communication was so open, I really appreciated that about her! She even spent time discussing different stretching techniques that my husband could help me do at home to prolong the side effects of the treatment.I’m 40 weeks pregnant and came to her clinical so that we could initiate labor. The next day, I could feel a difference in my hip mobility and overall mobility. Before seeing her, I was extremely swollen and had difficulty getting up and moving around (despite exercising throughout the pregnancy, drinking plenty of water, eating well, walking, and stretching). My husband commented that I looked like a different person only a few hours after the treatment! The next morning, the swelling in my hands, feet, and legs was completely gone! The carpal tunnel symptoms in my hands had all but diminished as well.No sign of baby yet, but we are hopeful that it will be soon! We are going to see her again in a few days. Either way, Alisa has literally given me new life. I was so uncomfortable before seeing her, I wondered how I would make it through labor. Now, I feel so rejuvenated and strong. Would highly recommend any treatment from her!

I wish I could give Alisa more stars, she is truly amazing. I first met Alisa when I was 4 months pregnant, I was having daily headaches and feeling a bit stressed due to an IVF pregnancy. After a few sessions my headaches were gone. I kept coming to her mainly due to her ability to calm me and make me feel very relaxed at every session. She was able to help me with every pregnancy symptom I developed, including heart burn, back pain, insomnia, constipation and more.My baby was breech and Alisa was able to work her magic and help my baby flip. I’ve had a few postpartum sessions where she continues to help me deal with any stress and allow my body to heal. I can’t say enough about how wonderful she is. She is very knowledgeable, personable, easy to talk to and she just has a way of knowing “what’s wrong with me”. My sessions are always wonderful, I feel so rested and rejuvenated.

Deb provided excellent care for me during my pregnancy with my son a couple years ago. When he was breech, she helped him flip head down. I also saw her for overall balancing, and when I came down with pneumonia at 38 weeks, she treated me with acupuncture and herbs and I had enough energy to labor (which started the first day I finally felt better). I am forever grateful to her care, attention and expertise. She is truly a blessing to the community and everyone she treats with acupuncture!! Thank you!!

Deb is amazing at what she does! I saw her once a month in the second half of my pregnancy and each time she listened to me and the experiences of what my body was going thru; she was able to help ease nausea, restless leg, and even some insomnia, as well as keep my general work stress at bay. The real magic I experienced with Deb was on my labor day, she had visit her office with my birth ball for treatment - because of the timing in seeing her I wholeheartedly believe she helped my body progress quickly for a peaceful, speedy delivery of my first daughter later that night. Alisa is AMAZING!!! I initially went in for pain in my hand & that has since been resolved with her help. I continue to see her for overall wellness. Alisa always takes her time to really hear out how I’m feeling/doing & from there we work on our goals. Alisa is a excellent provider for womens health services. Not only is she a wonderfully warm and kind person, she is highly knowledgeable in womens care in not only chinese medicine but other holistic practices. I look forward to my appointments with her and always feel cared for and held during our sessions.She helped me to treat pelvic inflammatory disease that had been caused by having a copper IUD for 8 years. Conventional doctors tried to prescribe me antibiotics when I had tested negative for all infections. I’ve been to Push Dan Diego 2 times and got treated by Deb both times. Both sessions were amazing she really listened to me and worked with me on what my body needed. I had a traumatic birth and recovery with a broken coccyx and nerve terrible damage. The Few sessions I had have helped Me improve and I can really feel the results. On top of that her story is amazing and I feel like she really cares about my healing and recovery which makes the experience a 10/10 love it will recommend to my friends and family

Alisa is an INCREDIBLE acupuncturist and overall caring human being. Ive been seeing her about 6 months while pregnant and now as I heal in the postpratum phase. What I love most about Alisa is that she truly cares about her patients and is so PASSIONATE and KNOWLEGEABLE about maternity, pregnancy, and postpartum (including being a certified lactation consultant).I came to her with a history of chronic pain and issues before pregnancy so there was a lot of different things I wanted address (rib cage pain, headaches, digestion, swelling, carpal tunnel, jaw pain, etc etc). She would come up with treatment plans (including incorporation moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, etc.) until I saw results. Sessions with her have done wonders for my overall health, well being, and pain. She also genuinely cares and will ask questions about my nursing and give me advice on how to help my baby breastfeed. She also offers that service as well.Go to Alisa. You will not regret it!

I had a wonderful experience with Alisa. She used acupuncture and herbal medicine to prepare my body for conception and support me throughout pregnancy. So thankful for her help (and our adorable success!). I highly recommend her, especially for prenatal, pregnancy, and postnatal support.

My baby has been presenting breech consistently throughout my pregnancy and I knew he would need some encouragement to go head-down so that we can have a vaginal birth. I have known that prenatal acupuncture is a great way to encourage babies to turn - especially if you get in to start treatments earlier rather than later! I started working with Deb at 31wks to encourage my baby to turn. Her prenatal acupuncture treatments are personalized and peaceful, and I was welcomed so warmly into her care. Although my goal was to get my baby turned head-down, the treatment itself was overall incredibly comfortable, calming and relaxing. I left the appointment feeling much more centered and grounded - I had been having so much anxiety about my baby being breach, and that anxiety was completely lifted after each treatment. After only two treatments of acupuncture and moxibustion, my baby turned head-down and he has remained so! He seems to be settling into his new position nicely :) Deb even sent me home with moxibustion to continue encouraging him into position between visits, which is an incredible resource to have. I will definitely continue to see Deb for acupuncture treatments throughout the rest of my pregnancy to ensure that I remain calm and balanced, and to better prepare my body for labor when its time. PUSH San Diego is not only a beautiful office but every practitioner there is INCREDIBLE!!! I get regular acupuncture from Grace and it has made a huge impact on my stress levels and overall life!!! She takes her time to really understand whats going on and thoroughly explains the complexity of Chinese Medicine. She also sends you home with herbs to holistically channel any symptoms that may be occurring. Each time I leave I am overcome with the post-acu, zen-like high. I am definitely looking forward to my next visit and would recommend her to anyone!

I’m not a huge fan of needles!!! The idea of having them in my body does not sound relaxing to me at all. But my treatment yesterday was soooooo relaxing!The office is soothing from the moment you step in to the waiting room. As a mom of a toddler and a baby on the way, I don’t find time to take care of myself as much as I would like. I walked in feeling stressed and worn down. Deb spent time listening to me before we started the treatment. I hardly felt the needles go in and she covers your eyes with the most amazing smelling sleep mask. During the session, I was able to relax fully and get in touch with my baby on the way. I felt so pampered and refreshed afterwards. And I have continued to feel relaxed and pain free all day today. Do yourself a favor and book a session here!

What a great place created by amazing people! I have gone to my first appointment yesterday and had an acupuncture session which has done wonders. I was complaining of lack of energy and muscle aches in mid 2nd trimester and was surprised to wake up feeling like my body belongs to me first time in pregnancy.I was also offered a 15min complimentary massage which was amazing. I have tried a few other prenatal massages before and was disappointed; so glad to find a place where I know I can go to now.The atmosphere is very friendly and I felt genuinely cared for, also received a lot of tips and recommendations for my pregnancy activities and care. Ive been through many acupuncturist and not that they were bad or not good, but my experience with Alisa has, by far, been the best. I highly suggest that if you are looking for acupuncture, give Alisa a shot and I promise you wont be disappointed.

I was struggling to get pregnant for two years and had tried almost everything. I went to acupuncture once and got pregnant. That little girl is now almost 3. Deb knows what she is doing and I would refer her to anyone. I went back to her for one other issue that was also resolved immediately.
