The PA & tech was very nice and kind. The tech made sure to keep me informed that they were running behind because of short staff that day. She also apologized as well. The PA was awesome as well with explaining what she would give me for my symptoms. They both took their jobs very serious! I will keep going back thanks to them.Thank you

The staff was very nice and friendly. They had about 5 patients in waiting area. While I was waiting about maybe 15 minutes 3 or4 patients came out from the back after being seen. They were definitely busy and turning patients in a timely manner. Trish was very thorough on making sure the vitals and information asked of me was correct. While still typing in the information the Dr Head came in was very pleasant and courteous and had a quick response to what should be done. Thank you to all of those who took time to check me in and see me.

Came in to get an infected tattoo looked at and the whole process was so simple, quick & easy from making the appointment online, checking in online and getting the proper care i needed. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, will choose to come back for any other health concerns.

When you arent feeling well, the last thing you want to do is complete a bunch of questions. Kim was very understanding and compassionate while helping me with the registration. Trish was very caring and quick to get me taken care of. Dr. Head was on top of my symptoms and knew exactly what I needed. I will definitely return for any future medical needs. Dr. head and his assistant dnasir were amazing. Very welcoming, empathetic and personable. Amazing first time experience. Wait time was nothing super crazy long, was easy to make a first time appointment and the service was very professional and efficient. Didnt catch the front desk ladys name but she was also very sweet and made the check in smooth and easy.

Absolutely amazing. They are all very nice and actually listened to what I had to say. Dr. Head really cares about his patients and goes above and beyond for them. The ladies up front were very helpful with the check in & the nurse I had took great care of me. The wait wasnt long at all, so it was a smooth transition into seeing the doctor. There was great care shown amongst the staff & I would likely return in the future if needed too.

The staff here is wonderful! But, I was looking for an urgent care that could do X-rays. They were on my Google search and since I have used them before (and had a good experience) I choose them. However, the exam was good, Dr. Head was great, nurse great, but then had to go another place for the X-ray. Now I have to pay another (bigger fee) for it. If you cannot perform a service you should let a person know upfront. My visit just became unaffordable but necessary. 😩

Great experience on a Sunday. I suggest registering online so you don’t have to sit in the waiting room, but it was only a moderate wait when I went. Dr was quick and knowledgeable and I’m glad I went.

It was crowded when I initially went in around 10am but everyone I interacted with was incredibly pleasant and helpful. They calmed my anxiety and never made me feel foolish or that they werent interested in what I was saying. I felt seen and comforted and I will be back if I have any other medical concerns.

I came in at the last minute due to an incident at work which required a drug examination. The staff was very helpful in getting me processed, and expedited the results so that I could return to work. The staff was professional yet personable. Although I know that it was inconvenient to arrive five minutes before closing, they made me feel that I was important enough to get their full attention. I appreciate people who are in the business of caring for people who actually make you feel like a human being. I recommend that you trust this staff for your care.

I was checked in by Patricia and she was very nice and considerate,then Hannah came in and did my exam we also talked about my labs results that I had done the day before. She was very helpful in explaining them to me. Upon leaving I saw Patricia and we talked she offered me so excellent advice and also made me copies to follow my diet .. The compassion and understanding I received from both of them went along way with me..!! 10/10

The employees at this clinic are GREAT! Treated my daughter with care and concern. They are friendly also. That is always a major plus in my book. We are here out of town so it was the best. American Family Care in Smyrna answered the phone promptly when I called. I was able to fill out the paperwork online to save time. My son was seen the same morning, and the service was great.

Went here for pain in the abdomen and back. All the staff was super nice and friendly. For what I was experiencing the doctor came to the conclusion I most likely had a pulled muscle that was causing the pain. After being prescribed muscle relaxers, they did not work so I went back the next day. They then gave me a piece of paper to take to Premier Health to have an ultrasound of my abdomen that was supposed to be done asap (same day) got to premier and they told me they couldn’t do it until almost a month out. I was in enough pain that I decided to go to the ER. After spending 8 days in the hospital and many needles, scans, ultrasounds, etc, it was determined that I was in kidney failure. Don’t want to hate on this place whatsoever due to what they’re limited to. But you yourself knows your body the best and if you think yourre experiencing something more than a cold or something else minor, I would not recommend going here. Again, staff was extremely polite and nice but it seemed as if they weren’t at all too concerned with my symptoms and seemed to brush them off as something very minor.

Dr. Head and his staff are incredibly considerate and thoughtful. I’ve been a patient for years now and never felt more comfortable and taken care of. I would recommend them to any and everyone.

They were all great! From the receptionist all the way to the doctor. They treated me better than my own regular doctor! Staff was very attentive and seemed to care. The doctor was very friendly and made me feel at ease, listened to and he didnt seem to be in a rush, which I appreciated very much. The wait time was acceptable, I was out of there way before the time I was told I would be seen. The place was clean, comfortable and easy to access. I will definitively return.

A very good place to provide urgent health care for all family members. They have a wonderful and very helpful staff, from the reception desk employee who heped me a lot with registration she was patient and kind with me and helped me obtain the insurance information from the employer to the health care provider doctor Jonathan Head he treated me with respect, kindness, and professionalism at workI would like to thank them all and highly recommend this place

I have been a resident of the Smyrna area for 30 years. This AFC has been the life-changing facility as far as urgent care.I have been to this facility for everything from COVID tests to physicals, even blood testing for pregnancy.My children have both been seen here.Most visits, we see Dr. Head, but him and the whole staff Ive interacted with have been very respectful and helpful.They all definitely put our needs first and care about addressing whatever we are seen for that day.Thank you all for what you do. You are deeply appreciated.

All of the staff were so sweet to me. I’m used to being treated like cattle and like a Thorne in someone’s side, so this was a very happy surprise. They treated me on the spot and i felt better even before i walked out. Thank you so much!!!

They got me in same day and quick! Staff was very polite and I felt like the doctor listened to my concerns and did not just wave me off like many other clinics.

I went bc Ive had a bad cough, sore thoart, nose & chest congestion for over a week. The Dr diagnosed me with a chest cold. However he never listened to my lungs or heart nor feel to see if the lymph nodes in my neck were swollen. He was more concerned with the fact that I waited till 5pm to come in. He was ready to go home

They were very nice and very efficient. The doc was great took care of me promptly and I was on my way feel much better now thanks Doc. Highly recommend

I’ve never been at an urgent care where there wasn’t a long wait. We got in and out no waiting. We were driving through Tennessee to go to StLouis for a funeral when my son started crying about his ear hurting. Dr. Head and his team have the best bedside manner. You can tell they care about their patients.

The entire staff was welcoming and got my labs done in a timely manner. I’m a hard person to stick when it comes to blood work but the the nurse got me done without sticking me 1,000 times. I was only stuck twice and that’s good for me. Even after my visit , they followed up. Great staff and I’m glad i started going there recently for my healthcare needs .

Went in with cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, doctor never listen to my lungs or heart, or looked at my throat, or in my ears, maybe this is not standard practice for this clinic, but it seems with the symptoms I was having he would have least looked at my throat. I have gone to this clinic other times when I was ill and didn’t receive this type of service. Don’t feel like the doctor was thorough in my visit to diagnose me.

Clean establishment, short wait times,Knowledgeable employees & friendly staff! I would definitely recommend this location amongst other Urgent cares in Nashville. They were able to help me with my problem.

My one year old cut his leg pretty badly towards the end of the day. The team here did a wonderful job making sure he was taken care and had him stitched up in no time. Nothing but great things to say.

If i could give 0 stars I would. If we bring a child in sick they should be covid/flu tested. Only sent for a chest xray due to all the wheezing on a severe asthmatic that was never marked stat My child tested positive for flu and 3 days later and at least 25 phone calls got premier to read xray that Dr. Head never put stat on.

I would highly recommend AFC Smyrna due to them being very personable and responsive to patient needs. Their thorough and professional staff make every experience a very low stress and efficient environment. The doctors show genuine concern in all aspects of a healthier lifestyle for each individual and dont mind providing the time needed to address any concerns. Nothing against the lady at the desk., but when do walk in clinics dont except walk ins? Said I havent been there in 3 years , would not be able to see me. Would give a 1 star but the lady was nice and helped find other clinics.

I visited the urgent care for the first time yesterday. I was in and out in 30 minutes. It was great! The front office receptionist was very pleasant. The MA who took my vitals was also very personable and efficient. The Doctor who attended me, Dr. Head, was absolutely awesome. Came in to the room with a great “bedside manner”. Very personable but also maintained professionalism. Overall lovely staff.

Everything went just as expected. Friendly staff and provider all the way through. Paperwork was easy to complete ahead of time. I’ll definitely be back when needed.

Do not go to this place! The doctor was great, but the office people have no idea what they’re doing. I got a prescription for 2 controlled substances to help with my excruciating nerve pain. I went to pick up the prescriptions after work and the pharmacy told me the papers they had given me at the urgent care were the wrong forms. Even though they had the correct medications/doctors names, etc, they did not have a piece of crucial information so I was unable to fill the prescription. Obviously, this is extremely frustrating as I was in immense pain and was unable to get my medication and AFC was now closed. The next day I called to ask what happened and to have the prescription faxed to another pharmacy to pick it up there. After hours of waiting for the pharmacy to receive it, many phone calls, holds, etc.. I am told that they were unable to reach the doctor that prescribed me the medication and so would have another doctor (who has never met or seen me) write me an entirely different prescription. He prescribed me lidocaine (which I already have. If he had met with me he would have known that) and an anti-inflammatory (similar to Tylenol/ibuprofen) (which HAVE NOT been working for my pain at all, which I told the original doctor). I rejected these prescriptions, seeing as I already had both and neither worked. This AFC wasted so much of my time and energy and stole $25 from me, as I did not receive any care there. Cherry on top, I was in excruciating pain that entire time, I still am, and have no medication to help. I have to go to another urgent care now and spend more time, energy, and money getting the exact same thing done. This has taken up and ruined my entire weekend. The people in this office should be embarrassed to work at a health care establishment; clearly do not care about the actual health of their patients at all. It’ll be a Quick drive to another urgent care and you’ll actually get the help you need. Save your time, energy and money and go somewhere else.

Everyone was nice!! I received excellent care and I didn’t have to wait very long at all. I will definitely go back when needed.

I came on here to just brag on one of the works. I am originally from Chattanooga Tennessee and I wasn’t familiar with too many clinics. I came in to ask a couple of questions. One of the works by the name of Dnasir was very respectful and helpful. He was so patient even though I asked about 500 questions lol. His energy was just so welcoming.

My visit was awesome! Receptionist was great. Inviting professional. The doctor was exceptional and thorough and experience overall was excellent!

Very easy to get in to see a doctor. The office staff were very helpful and polite. The nurses, technicians and doctors have a very good bedside manner. They listen to your concerns and assess the situation. Very time efficient down to sending your prescription to the pharmacy. If needing to be seen quickly I would recommend highly. Every place has their peak hours of being busy. This wasn’t my first time going here and each time I have received very good care even when taking my children when they were younger.

I thought this place would be an easy help me feel better place. I was wrong. The front waiting room looks like it’s newly renovated, but it looks like Gatlinburg visitor information center. The front office staff was not friendly at all. One guy didn’t even look up to acknowledge I was trying to check in. The one girl just took my insurance card and gave me paperwork. Said very few words. The young guy who brought us back to the room was nice. No complaints about him, but the heat in this facility was BLASTED. I have never been to a medical office that’s hot and uncomfortable to the point I took my light weight jacket off and my son did as well. It was 56 degrees outside. No need for the heat to be on 80! After waiting in this hot sauna, this doctor comes in and starts asking me the standard questions. He put off the weirdest vibe ever. His eye contact was not normal professional eye contact, but like staring into your soul creepy type eye contact. I was so ready to leave. I only came in there for a steroid shot for my migraine and something to stop my dry cough because I was giving a presentation that evening. After my examination, the doctor said “okay I’m going to send the MA in here to give you a steroid shot and I’ll turn the heat down”. At this point I’m like well okay, not only was he standing too close to me and staring into my soul, but he was judging the fact that I was hot. I then said yes it’s extremely hot in here and it’s not even cold outside. Heat is the worst thing when you’re trying to kill germs. After he left the MA came in and made me lay down for the shot that I’ve had over 7x. Which was fine, but she wanted us to wait until the shot took affect before leaving to make sure I don’t have any reactions. I told her I have no allergies and I have had this exact shot before with no symptoms, but I was like okay whatever I’ll wait. My son was being a normal 1year old and exploring the room while we were waiting. He opened a drawer that appeared to be empty and we found a dead roach in there. No big deal...it’s dead. But being that I work in the medical field, they need to hire a cleaning service to do nightly cleans and monthly deep cleans. After the roach issue, the MA came back in and said oh okay you didn’t have any reactions so let me get the doctor and then once he talks to you then you can leave. I was like why would I need to wait on him? He just went into another room? I then got up and left with my son and never turned back. I swear there is something in the air there or it was just the people working that day. I will never go back. Especially because the medication he gave me made my symptoms worse and it’s been over a week. I’m just got to follow up with my PCP and never try to go here on a weekend ever again. Or if I do I will make sure that same doctor is not working.

My visit with them today was good. I did not have a long wait time. Staff was very friendly. I feel I was properly diagnosed. This was my second visit with them. First was with my grand daughter. She came out happy and complementary about the doctor. I recommend this place to family and friends.

AFC Smyrna is my primary care provider. I like the convenience of being able to reserve a spot in line ahead of time. The staff is friendly and attentive to my needs.

The Dr. was very knowledgeable about my Vertigo situation. He made it very easy to understand what l should do to get better and what treatments to do.

Visited this location several times normally a good experience though this past time me and my wife went there for sinus/allergy issues they did a good job with her but when it came to me the doctor didnt even come over to listen to my lungs or anything he simply looked at me and said and I quote So whats your deal..? Never again will I go there if that particular doctor is there. Everyone else there that day was helpful and nice but never again with this doctor.

I highly recommend Dr. Head. He was great communicating with a teenager patient!! He had good vibes, gave positive advice to my daughter and treatment was spot on!!Will definitely go back there again.

Great place to go if you have the need for flexible visits - no appointments needed and their hours are convenient. My work hours are horrible and make it hard to schedule visits at most doctors offices. Everyone that I have encountered there is super friendly and helpful. Dr Head is very friendly and caring and Patricia Watts is super nice and friendly, as well, and seems very genuine and caring. The only thing I would change is their phone system - it’s hard to get through and talk to an actual person.

Went in for DOT physical. Great staff, very nice. Nurses were also great. Dr. Head was very thorough and easy to deal with.

Everything was great other than the fact that they advertise as having x ray abilities. However no tech, so asked if I came back the next day to do a check on a sprain would they be there for an x ray and was told no.

Friday evening after Thanksgiving I was seen by Dr. Jonathan Head at the Smyrna location who was very professional, kind, empathetic and had a wonderful bedside manner, which you dont see very often anymore. I went in feeling terrible and after a breathing treatment, he had me leaving in laughter. The entire staff was great!!!! I would definitely recommend American Family Care.

I always have a good experience here. The providers are good and the front desk processes you quickly. If they are very busy then it can take a while to be seen, understandably. I am happy to have an option for quality care after hours and on weekends so close to my home. I much prefer this location to the clinics in drugstores.

I went in for some fungal ring growing on my arm doctor told me it was nothing she didn’t do any testing but told me on the phone the testing was included but never did any I even explained to her that I do combat sports but it was like she was just trying to get me out of there long story short it was ringworm don’t go to this place they just want your money

So my son went in today for a fever of 103.1 and when he left they said he had a upper respiratory infection and for me to give him some Tylenol or Motrin and so I called up there to see if they do a presentations for those bc rn I dont have the money to get them and they told me no bc I can buy them over the counter

We had a HORRIBLE experience! If I could give zero stars, I would! He brought in a diagnosis packet before he even looked at my son. When he walked in he sat down, and didn’t even look nor touch my child. I had asked him to look at my child’s mouth 3 or 4 times and he didn’t show any signs of wanting to nor cared to. On the last request he said, “ I mean, I can if you want me to.”We told him “No, we will go find someone who wants to act like they care and wants to do their job.” He than stood in front of the door, and placed his arm and hand on me and pushed us back. He said “ What else do you want me to do?” We then told him “ We need to leave!”

We had a great experience at this place. The wait was reasonable for our first time. After we were in our room and the nurse took the information, the doctor was there moments later. Ive never had a doctor just sit and listen and seem so caring for me before. Dr. Head is awesome! When we need urgent care, this is where well go.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Didn’t wait too long and I was in and out. The nurse practitioner Aira was very informative and understanding.

I was rushed out of an ophthalmologist’s office with fresh bad news and was completely disoriented and upset. My eyes were fully dilated and I could barely see. I visited this clinic just for bloodwork, but it was clear after 30 seconds of speaking with Dr. Jonathan Head that I would declare him my new Primary care physician. My impression is based on a mixture of ideal bedside manner and knowledge about a case clearly not in his daily sphere. I was really impressed. I highly recommend Dr. Head. How refreshing it was to see a doctor willing to spend time discussing my health. I left feeling so much better. All of his support staff was great too. I nearly fainted twice while giving about 20 gallons of blood and even got a free ginger ale for my money!But - Edit 2024 -Dr. Head is great, but one of the front desk staff people really, really upset me today. I had received only a 30 day supply of my medication after a previous visit and it was clearly a mistake because its always a year supply between visits. The front desk person was so dismissive and rude and clearly couldnt care less if I dropped dead or not. She has no business in that role. Fortunately, I called back the next day and spoke with someone who knows how to treat people and she and Dr. Head set me up. Wow that first person was so unbearable. She smirked at the idea of not being able to help me or relay a message to the doctor etc...

They were so helpful from signing in to leaving. The doctor and nurse we so kind.This is my go to place if needed.

My family loves Dr. Jonathan Head at the Urgent Care in Smyrna. My son adores him and we all truly feel listened to and cared about. I will continue to go to him for my medical needs. I highly recommend him. They are open 7 days a week.

I had to go in for a workers compensation injury. They got all the necessary paperwork for me to be examined. Dr Head was very helpful and gave me great advice on how to deal with my injury, I appreciate his being straightforward with me. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. The ladies in the office were all amazing!

My first visit at American Family Care Smyrna, was good. Staff was very friendly and made me feeling my illness was a concern to them as well. The doctor came in and help me feel at ease. My go to Urgent Care now.

Dr. Head is a wonderful dr. He listen to his patients, treat them with kindness and compassion. My family has been in his care for a long time. Now, the check-in system is not patient friendly, but the staff, from the front desk to nurses and of course Dr Head are very good with patients.

Took my grandson there for a laceration on his cheek & the Dr was excellent. His bedside manner was fantastic & my grandson was never afraid. He was very well taken care of! The whole staff were awesome! Highly recommend & would come back.

Front desk staff was amazing and helpful.The wait was what you would expect for a walk in clinic.The doctor didnt spend very much time with us and I didnt feel like he really talked to us about the sick child we brought in. He literally mumbled ear infection and pharmacy as he walked out the door. I had to go down the hall to ask him if we were finished, as he had given no real instruction.

On my advice, after 2 days of symptoms, my Young Adult family member went for urgent care services this past Sunday. He chose AFC-Smyrna.... big mistake! He received a quickie doorway medical evaluation from a male provider wearing glasses. The medical staff posed the very question that insurance was paying him to professionally diagnose --the cause of symptoms? The treatment plan advice was a flu shot & ibuprofen. What a waste for such an inapt hands-off medical assessment conducted without the provider fully entering the exam room. Resounding: Do NOT Recommend this facility!

I had an urgent need for medical attention, my doctors office couldnt squeeze me in for a week, that was unacceptable. I went to American Family Care in Smyrna. The front desk lady was extremely helpful, got me signed in and had very little wait. I was called back, had vitals taken, then placed in a room. Within 15 minutes I had lab work, saw the doctor, had a prescription submitted to my pharmacy and was on my way. I highly recommend this office for any urgent medical care.

Only waited a few minutes which is unheard of based on my past walk-in clinic experience. I was seen by Dr. Smith who was courteous and thorough and his diagnosis and treatment were spot on. Thankful for this clinic and their staff. This is definitely my new go-to urgent care clinic and I will be telling others about this place as well.

Blonde receptionist lady is condescending and insensitive to injuries and was more concerned coming back with paperwork. Asked is she could still be seen and she flat out said no. After I asked if she’s refusing service, that is when she said yes as long as she’d be using private insurance. If we were here it’s to have patient urgently be seen not to come back with paperwork after the fact. Lacked empathy and common sense

Great place! My visit was quick and I received the quality of care I expected. I have been here before and I was taken care very satisfactorily. The doctor at that time said he could feel the spasming going on in my back. Thank you Smyrna American Family Care!

We went there because my husband was sick and I was getting sick. We were seen in the same room and the doctor halfassed checked us out. He listened to my chest, not my husband’s, then the doctor looked in my husband’s ears and throat and he didn’t even looked at mind. My husband is having shortness of breath really bad and they didn’t even give him an inhaler because of him not being able to breathe. This is the worst doctor we’ve ever seen in this office. The office staff were great a 5 star but this doctor we saw was a 1 star.

Very attentive, took care of my needs and ordered my prescription in a timely matter. I actually received a text message from my Pharmacy regarding my prescription before I left. The wait time was not bad at all. Highly recommend this office. Front Desk, Nurse and Doctor (in order that I saw them) were above and beyond my expectations. I see people complain about this place, but what I can say is I’ve been treated good here at this clinic. PROS: The staff are very nice and professional.CONS: Very expensive. I cant believe I paid One hundred and thirty something dollars for a walk in beside the cost of tests.I really wish to go back and ask the doctor why I only got one shot and pills that lasted for a day as thorough treatment for a supposed UTI, but the fact that I have to pay another $135 or thereabout is very bad.How would I pay such amount everyday for the number of days Im supposed to go there in order to get more injections and be properly treated?I feel the first time visit and the subsequent visits shouldnt cost the same. Unless they enjoy ripping people off.

Dr. Head is genuinely a nice & kind doctor. He was engaging & professional. He was very detailed in diagnosing my illness. And, I sincerely appreciate the time he took caring for me.

I only waited for about 15 minutes before being seen and it was over all fast and very informative. they reassured me that i would be fine over and over when i was a little stressed and talked through every step they took. 10/10 urgent care team

I had a great experience. The staff was right on point, very helpful and friendly! Dr. Lauren Kathary was amazing! She had a great personality. She was thorough and answered all my questions. I wasn’t rushed in and out and she took the time to explain my prescriptions and how they would react with the medications I am currently taking. I would highly recommend this clinic!!!

I was out of town visiting my daughter and needed to see the doctor for a very painful earache. The receptionist was warm and welcoming Nas, The charismatic nurse was incredible and the doctor was friendly and made me feel comfortable.

The doctor that had attended my sister for 3 abscess and was sent home with just a prescription of medications but shes still the same in pain and swollen abscesses on her left leg

Took myself and daughter here because when I’ve gone for myself it’s always been really good but for my infant it wasn’t. I couldn’t get her into her doctor so I took her in they couldn’t weigh her without weighing me holding her than by myself. They had me stand her up to get her height ( she’s only 5 months old) and the doctor barely listened to her breathing seeing myself and her he wasn’t even in the room 5 min. I had always thought very highly of this place but now I’m very disappointed

I came here for some illness I had been experiencing over the weekend, and I was quite nervous on the way in. However, everybody I met with was extremely comforting, kind, and professional. I felt like I was under great and relatively speedy care throughout my experience. I am very glad I chose this place over anywhere else. One of the best parts of my experience is that along with my excuse notes, I received extensively detailed instructions on how to best take care of myself and what medicines and measures I ought to take to ensure that I feel better as soon as possible. Even my primary care physician has never gone to that extent before. Thank you guys for helping me in my time of need, and thank you for going the extra mile!

Update: I emailed them as they asked myself and pretty much everything else who had a bad experience to do and they did nothing and never emailed me back! Thanks for nothing.The front desk was nice. However,I went in an hour before they closed and they called me back about 10 minutes before they closed. I didnt mind the wait but as soon as Dr. Head came in he immediately said, How are you? Id be better if people didnt come in right before we closed. I tried to explain that I had been here an hour beforehand but he didnt care. He asked what was going on. I had been sick for like 4 days and was in a lot of pain. I was exhausted at this point from being in pain and While explaining my pain the Dr was rolling his eyes and said, lets have a little perspective, you dont have cancer. Basically saying dont be dramatic which I didnt feel like I was, I was just at the end of my rope. And you cant just tell people they dont have cancer so be positive. He barely looked at my ears and throat and nose and said yeah its probably just a flu youll get over it when I asked how long until I feel better he again belittled me and said, 7 to 10 days isnt a long time get over it he prescribed me one dose of a steroid and some medicine for congestion that the pharmacy has explained to him multiple times they do not have. He had no compassion at all. I cried after a saw him. Just remember you have no idea what people are going through I just lost my mom to cancer, I have 2 little ones so 10days of pain and sickness is a long time. All I ask is that you show people some respect and compassion. He had no patience for anything I said or did. The Dr made me feel like I was bothering him and not worth his time. Will never go again and will never recommend it to others.

As I entered the door of the American Family Care. The young lady at the front desk named Serita was very kind and professional while guiding me through the process to get registered and check in. The young lady named Merritt who called me back was very kind, sweet, and professional as well upon getting my vital signs, and Sarah the technician was very polite and explained to me before performing the test. Last, Dr. Jonathan Head, he was professional, kind, a great listener, open- minded, caring, amazing personality, understanding, and professionally friendly ~ his bedside manners was very impressive. Overall, he cares about his patients. The checkin process was easy and the staff professional. Being from out of town, going to a walk in clinic was the last thing I wanted to do. But AFC made the process as easy as it could have been. Nice, clean facilities….would highly recommend.

I came in 2 weeks and was diagnosed with flu B. Dr prescribed me medications that interfered with my BP pressure medication. I called the next day due to breathing issues- front office said I would get a call back from the doctor and I did not. In fact, No one called my back. Luckily my PCP office called me back immediately and told me discontinue the medication asap. Now I have paid for prescriptions I can’t use and a $200.00 office visit. If you already have a doctor and insurance- go there - do not go here Even though it may seem more convenient.

Took my son here for some urgent care needs. Wait was a little long but was happy they were able to help and treat him with no issues. Will visit again if situation calls for it. Staff was friendly as well

Don’t think there is enough room for an explanation of my concern and dissatisfaction. I’m N RN and have been a nurse for over 50 years. I found the lack of basic patient assessment a Hugh concern . I will follow up with an email to the management of the company that owns this facility and the States Dept of Health

Front desk person Kimberly was very rude and she had no reason to be. However the nurse and doctor was pleasant.

Very professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. They listened and gave great advice.

The doctor was leaving for the night so the P.A. Candice Marbach worked with me. GREAT experience with her. She was caring, thorough and informative.

This is probably our last time visiting here. This receptionist, Maya (not sure of the spelling)was very unwelcoming and the last thing you need to deal with when you are sick or have a sick child is poor customer service. I have to stress that Dr. Head is an amazing doctor and DNasir was great as well.

Friendly staff, not a long wait time and the Doctor was so nice to my little girl who wasn’t feeling well. Very knowledgeable - he knew what was wrong with her even before the test confirmed it.

Waiting room staff mood and helpfulness varies based on call volume, but the medical staff have always been very friendly and professional. Doctors on staff have always been super helpful, especially Dr. Head who always has gone the extra mile for me and treats you like you’re the only patient he has that day.

The Papper work u guys have is too mach. How cone a patient do all athat on top of cthe pain he has??? Beside that waiting time is super too long. Ialso would like to say thank you for the service I got.

This facility is amazing as are its providers and support staff! They are caring, kind, offer accessible care in a time efficient manner. Dr. Head, Candace, and Maddie were absolutely amazing toward me. You dont feel like a number here but an individual they really care for and want to help! 5/5 stars all day long!

Updated: The visit was fairly good, but their business office sent me multiple bills for more than I was supposed to pay. Corporate finally did correct the charge and resolve the issue for me. Hopefully their billing system will be fixed so that others do not have the same experience.

I brought my son the other day and he saw Robert Kite, NP. He was very thorough and kind. The office called us a few days later to check and see how he is feeling. I highly recommend this clinic!

The entire staff at American Family Care were exceptional! I had been stung several times on my face by yellow jackets and was in extreme pain. Staff was very friendly and compassionate.

I went into see Dr. Head today and he did not disappoint. The staff was great as well. There was little waiting time and as soon as i got in i got taken care of....Dr Head came to my rescue.....Always so sweet and kind - always caring - and always listens to you......It means a lot to have that in a doctor!!! I wish every doctor was more like him!

I went to be seen on a Tuesday and explained all my symptoms (cough, ear aches, runny nose, chest congestion, etc) and the doctor didn’t perform any test and told me it was just my allergies. My symptoms didn’t get any better but only worse so I went to a clinic who would perform test and found out 2 days later I have the flu.

Functional free Wi-Fi! The staff was nice and TB tests are much cheaper than Walgreens or Kroger.
