Planned Parenthood - Beaverton Health Center

The clinic was easy to find and parking was pretty easy. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Everything is transparent too so you can make your best decisions as a patient and the staff is ready to help with anything! I also like that you can bring someone with you to the appointment and they are allowed with you into the exam room after the provider asks you all their safety questions. Wait time was a little long, but not terrible, and the clinic itself is very clean and comfortable. Id certainly return here in the future for anything if it takes a while to find a PCP, which can happen for some people. 4/5 for me!

The staff were professional, dont get me wrong. But the doc shoveled my through like a fast food customer. Probably less than three minutes from initial contact to them leaving.And the real problem is Planned Parenthoods centralized follow up team. Some rando I dont know who has never talked to me has ultimate control over my medication and no context for my situation. Glynis A Flanigan steps in, completely incorrect on my dosages and labs, and threatens my access to healthcare? I would find a different source of medical care; Oregons Planned Parenthood is not trans friendly in the slightest.

The staff are super kind and amazing and they have a quaint litle suite upstairs! I went in to enquire about their gender-affirming services. I am excited to finally live my life authentically!

Best experience every time!! Everyone here is awesome, I have been here for years and will keep coming back. Maggie is spectacular and Zane (Zade?) and Angel were also so awesome! 😊🥰

Glynis, Vicki and Sam were excellent in their support. All of them presented professionally, educationally and valued consent. I always feel safe at Planned Parenthood but I feel as if they truly went above and beyond. I was rather frazzled and overwhelmed and each did their part to connect, calm, and educate. I definitely felt care for. There was never any shy away from subjects that could be uncomfortable, and I appreciate each of them doing their best to make me feel safe and secure and provided for. Thank you to all the staff here who do amazing jobs, including office staff and those I didnt meet. 🖤✨️

I wanted to leave a review because I noticed all of the poor ratings and I dont want anyone to be discouraged from visiting this center. I know that there have been a lot of valid feedback about wait times in the past, but when my partner and I visited recently, we were seen promptly and the staff is just AMAZING. Please dont hesitate to make an appointment here!

The Unconditional support I received from the staff of planned parenthood in the last 11 years has made me a patient and supporter for life. I have been coming here since high school, when all I could trust was no one else but planned parenthood. They are so caring, never judge mental and all I could feel was full support and they were willing to give me all of their resources to help me cope and have the best outcome for myself. I’ve seen so many different nurses and medical assistants and never did I ever have a bad experience with any of them. All I can say is I am very very thankful they exist and I know I am able to lean on them again when I find myself in a time of crisis. Women (and men) like me depend on these organizations heavily that are life saving, and people that protest against them are purely ignorant. I will continue to refer anyone that will benefit from planned parenthood and most importantly I will continue to donate!! Thank you Planned Parenthood of Beaverton!!!

I am absolutely amazed by the level of care they offered. Staff seem happy to be there and seem to find joy in their work. Care is prompt and thoroughly explained. Love this place! Best clinic I’ve been to.

Overall, the staff was very kind and and I was given a solution for what I went in for, which is great. However, the wait times are long, I had scheduled an appointment for 9:30 and was taken back at 11. Why would I go out of my way to make an appointment for a specific time and show punctuality by arriving 10 minutes early, if they won’t even meet you close to your appointment time. I’ve heard this is normal for this clinic, but they should give you some kind of heads up, or just schedule less appointments in a day if they can’t keep up? Despite this, my appointment seemed great until I went to pick up the two prescriptions they had written me. The doctor told me to take both the medications at the same time, and that even though studies show not to mix alcohol with them, that it had been disproven and was totally fine to do. When I spoke with the pharmacist he was very concerned upon hearing that and told me that mixing those two medications was potentially very dangerous, and I should have never been given those instructions. He also told me that drinking alcohol with then was never advised, and could lead to potentially life threatening side effects. It blew my mind, and I’m so glad I double checked with the pharmacist because following her instructions could have gotten me extremely ill. Just be careful when you are prescribed medication from them, and do your own research and talk to your pharmacist. This was so scary, and I feel like a mistake this bad should not have been made.

I have no clue what the other reviews were talking about but my multiple visits in the last few weeks have been great!!Nice secure location that screens people before they enter the building, friendly staff and hardly any wait times. Both my visits were scheduled for in the morning so not sure if there is a noon rush but in the morning seems to be the ticket. I was even 5 mins late for my first appointment and they worked me right in.Thank you so much for taking care of me. You are my preferred location!!! Oh! And a special shout out to the technician that was able to take my blood on the first go! I have an extreme phobia and small, hard to find, veins. She was able to get the blood with no fuss. The second visit was not as smooth but almost just as painless. Lol.

Been to this location twoce and while the first time my appointment was pretty late, this time I was in and out in practically no time. Staff was very welcoming and open/honest about what they could do and the possibility for needing to refer out. Would definitely recommend this location.

Every time I have gone here, the people working here have all been so kind and helpful. They listen well and help me make the best decisions without ever pressuring me in any way. I sometimes feel like I get better care here than at my own doctors office! Theyre very thorough and understanding. And if youre on OHP, youll get services at no cost. Usually youll have to wait awhile after arriving, as with all medical offices, but my usual wait time is 15 minutes, and Ive never had to wait more than 30. It probably helps if you can go at times when its less busy. And of course you should make an appointment and show up on time because I think they call patients in the order they arrive. I will always recommend this place to anyone. Thank you PP for being amazing and providing necessary services to so many of us. ❤️

I waited an hour and a half and still wasn’t see by a provider. The nurse was extremely rude and unprofessional, I wish I would’ve gotten her name. You make appointments for a reason, people have jobs and things to do not everyone has time to sit around all day and wait. If the wait times are usually long they should make that known prior to the appointment. I left without being seen by a provider because I had to work, the nurse was extremely snarky about it. I don’t understand why she works in healthcare if she lacks empathy. This is the worst location I have ever been to. I wasted nearly two hours of my time waiting to be seen and I could not wait any longer.

I was nervous about choosing this location for a woman’s health check up based on the reviews, but my experience far surpassed expectations. From the moment I entered, everyone was friendly, inclusive, competent, and knowledgeable. Really couldn’t ask for more.

The wait time was LONG. Don’t bother going in early. I would have waited for only 1 hour if I didn’t go early.That being said, the staff and the doctors are SO NICE. Super understanding, nonjudgemental, help you get in when they know it’s time sensitive, explain everything you want to know to you, it was a super helpful visit. For me the more information I know the more my mind is at peace. I feel so much better after the visit, because I’ve got all the answers and stuff I need.

Ive been coming to this Planned Parenthood location for years for my annual GYN visits and birth control prescription. They are the kindest, most efficient, most respectful medical office I have ever worked with. I always feel safe and in control, and I appreciate that they are very conscientious of their patients. I also appreciate that they know the ins and outs of Oregon law regarding dispensing 1 year worth of birth control pills at a time. Other places made the process so difficult but PP always makes it a breeze.I had my most recent visit via remote Telehealth and it was excellent. They got me scheduled within 24 hours, checked me in over the phone in 2 minutes, completed the appointment within 5 minutes, and sent the correctly-written 1 yr rx to my pharmacy. You cant get any more efficient than that!

I’ve never liked doctors offices or any sort of thing like that but this place was very comfortable. i came while they were in the last hour of thier day and still let me in just to see what they could do in the time frame they had. front desk was super sweet and willing to talk to me about any questions i had

No way to call directly. The number I was given to call directly actually takes me to a call center. Spent 30 mins on hold to try and change my prescription, then told my provider would call me back anywhere from 2-8 hours. Missed their call, so I had to call back. Waited, AGAIN, to be told AGAIN my provider would have to call me back. I was told the second time they would reach out either by email, phone, or portal. So I signed up for the portal.A week later, NOTHING. No way to reach the office directly, the operator at the call center wanted me to pay for ANOTHER office visit because the prescription they switched me to was having adverse effects (I never asked them to switch in the first place), so *I* get to pay for their bumble? Hm. Now I have 11 months of a prescription that makes me ill, and I cant even talk to the doctor that prescribed it to switch it.I cant even begin to describe how frustrating, demeaning, and deflating this feels.

Ive gone to this location multiple times and have always recieved wonderful service. The people who work there are always nice and willing to answer questions. They are usually time efficient and Ive never had to wait an excessive ammount of time, even as a walk in. Theres also never any pressure to donate or any judgement for the reason of my visit. I feel more comfortable going here than any other clinic.

For starters the care and staff are always very nice and helpful. Clean clinic. The only issue is that they can be unorganized. This office for one is extremely overpacked all the time considering the size and being the only west side clinic. Forget about making an appointment, I arrived 30 mins early (because I know how it can be here) and still got called AFTER my 11 a.m. Appointment. Then you have to wait forever after being seen for results. Come here on a day when you dont have any plans.

Had an appointment scheduled at 10:30 am. Waited till 11:30 for no one to even show up to the facility. There were about 4 people waiting for their appointments.Super disappointing and unprofessional to not even let their scheduled patients know they were either goi g to be late or not open.Not happy at all. Never going back.

I have been here twice and expect the wait no big deal but if your going to be rude and expect donations no way.. I went in for a copy of my ultra sound to give to my obgyn and they literally made me sit for a hour. How hard is it to take a copy of my ultra sound..? I honestly think the people that work here are worthless plan parenthood needs new faces especially at this location because the location downtown are extremely nice..

Ive even going to this planned parenthood since I was 16, ten years. Ive been going in by walk ins and appointments and theyve seen me through getting my first birth control all the way to confirming my pregnancy when I was 22. The staff are all so nice and work with you for however many questions you need answers to. Ive never had a bad experience with Planned Parenthood and love the Beaverton location. I still prefer to come here for birth control than go to my actual physician.

Very kind, easy to speak with and they dont make you feel horrible in anyway. They have amazing vibs and make it not as hard to get help. I was slightly worried when I called and heard a male voice but not even in minutes he made me regret being scared at first because he was the nicest person I have ever spoke with and the insurance department called me back within 24hours. All around nicer, kinder and easier to deal with then say LoveJoy...,

I am baffled. I made an appointment days before, arrived early. Checking me in took 40 minutes, then another 20 minutes for my name to be called. As someone who works in the medical field, I can confidently say this is absurd. All I wanted was a pack of Ella! The lack of professionalism and organization here is so apparent. Horrible.

VERY caring towards my visibly shaken and obviously depressed state.. ☹️ They didnt push or press or overstep my boundaries.. I was NOT relaxed or ok when I arrived, and by the end of my visit, I could feel the change in my feels! 🙌🙂 THANKS TO EACH OF YOU & I look forward to coming in again soon!

Never had an issue before this visit. Went in and got blood work done on a thursday (morning) and was told i would be getting a call either friday or saturday. My regular ob gyn called to get the results after they failed to call me back. They never gave any answers or called them back. Now here is is tuesday i called again they said someone would call me back because they were too busy. Still no call and they are closed. I guess just try again tomorrow. I just went in today get the bloodwork done elsewhere. Rediculous! This is all after i was told to do the test because it could be life threatening. Its been almost a week of waiting with that as the last thing i was told.

Today I had an appointment at 11am. But because of LACK OF PROVIDERS, I had to still wait and HOUR AND A HALF! To get birth control pills! This place had ONE provider on a SATURDAY! Ridiculous doesnt even cover how I feel right now. I get they help people who are broke, but holy crap, get more people on the weekend!!!

Got my IUD here. They were so nice and welcoming. I suffer with bad anxiety but they all made me feel very comfortable.

Im so scared of needles and exams and they made me feel so incredibly comfortable and cared for. Well done, definitely recommend coming here if you need help

At planned parenthood now. Ive been here since 9:11am early for my 10:00 am appointment but they are calling people to the back with appointments at 10:15 & now 10:20am?? I asked one of their receptionists when I maybe called & was told they will check & thats it...

People are nice and helpful but I have been sitting here for 2 hours even with an appointment. Very frustrating and annoying. I hate coming to this location, nothing is ever on time.

They made it right. Went completely out of the way to make sure I could get my prescription in a timely manner. Thank you.

Start time showed 8 AM (including Thursday) and also confirmed when Called. But they are NOT open until 9:30 AM due to internal weekly staff meeting. It is so inconvenient for the first time visitor, specially working professionals to visit this facility in the morning.

Grateful for all the work they do to promote health and save lives with free and affordable cancer screening and STI tests so people can get treatment soon and spread disease less.

Worst planned parenthood in Oregon. The wait times are ridiculous 2-3 hours WITH an appointment. The staff is very rude, unprofessional, and unorganized.

They wont honor your apt that they messed up on and will have you waiting for over an hour because of their mistake

Every time I go here the staff is so helpful! They informed me my insurance company wasnt doing their job and fought for me to get my birth control.

The staff and service was great! The one negative was the wait time which I can image it is that way because they take in a lot patients.

This place is horrible. The staff here are very direct and not very helpful. I tried to go in with my wife and ask a few questions and they refused to see us. Was a waste of time to come here.
